Very underrated tourist stop for beautiful ancient archeological artifacts (very ancient, from about 700BC onwards and from different populations who lived in the area). Artefacts are labelled in Italian and English, which is very helpful for tourists. It's clear that people who prepared the displays are passionate about them, so you feel like you are seeing treasures. The castle is very well maintained to make it comfortable and welcoming (better than many "popular" spots in the region) and has a gorgeous view. Parking costs €3 and is a bit tricky to find, but it's the driveway before (if you're coming from Napoli) to the castle entrance. Lovely staff, very helpful. We bought our tickets at the door. They only accept card payment. It was heartbreaking to see that we were the only people in the castle for most of the visit, saw maybe 4 other people while we were there. Bring your own water/snacks and sunscreen, because you'll want to stay on the top floor absorbing the views. We reached the castle by driving - not sure that there is any public transport.
Nice castle, unfortunately a big part of it is under reconstruction. There's a museum with antique relics, available clean bathrooms, the staff is nice and polite. Beautiful view on the sea and nearby area.
Nice place charming beach. It is not very well marked on google. It toom us some time to get there and find it. You have to take a small boat that comes every 10 min to pick up people. You pay on arrival, although they wrote 35 euros they took 50 for 2 people, 1 umbrella and 2 chairs. There is also a place to eat. Nice experience in general:)
Beautiful medieval castle that houses the huge archeological museum. There is no parking available so you need to walk the steep uphill path. There is parking within the premises for disable visitors.
Very much underrated gems in Napoli. Definitely worth a visit. The castle has ancient Romans collections, stunning view and the working personnel is really kind and helpful
Beautiful views! Off the beaten track in Baia, lots of artifacts and displays about the history of the area. Use your ArteCard for admission. What? You don’t have one? Get online or at the airport!
Very nice to walk the grounds and castle wall, but the museum is small and seems to be missing, well a lot. The castle is beautiful and allows a wonderful place to stroll, and overlook the bay of Pozzuoli but the museum is small (or closed?) and lacks any sort of flow or map or understanding what’s on display. Yes there are signs in English and Italian, but they describe the individual items. There’s no comprehensive understanding of the museum or totality of the collection. I was here years ago and I remember being impressed, is the other part closed for renovations or?? They have a nice restroom and a few areas to sit in the shade. Worth a visit, but with reduced expectations for the museum.
If you want to see artefacts from various parts of Campi Flegreii, you are at the right place. The exhibit is separated by locations. Each location is very briefly introducted to the visitors and then he can see some statues, stabs etc. On the other hand, if you want to get more familiar with the way of life o ancient Romans or if you want to see the medieval caste, it is not a place for you. Regardless, there are beautiful views over the Bay of Pozzuoli from here.

Amazing experience at Nereis bar! Giuseppe was such a great part of our time there. Bar tender Antonio made the most amazing drinks when we told him what flavours we wanted he created magic. Great music and clean fun venue. Definitely must stop here if you’re in Baia!!!
Had an amazing time! Great atmosphere, the staff are welcoming & attentive. I would recommend this bar 100%. The Dj played diverse music that got everyone dancing - great vibes!!
Beautiful beach bar! Great craft cocktails!
Am in love with the energy of this place ❤️

Intimate wellness pool good for having a day to relax and recharge. Restaurant on site with premade dishes. Bring your own towel, plenty of seating, lots of pool options.
It might seem foolish Thermal Bath in hot summer weather ... Believe it. In fresh pools you 'll odd bathing in warmer waters and you won' t regret. Simply fantastic. Restaurant facilities available. Very very Relaxing. It IS the PLACE ...
Fabulous. We are in love with this place. Relaxing, comfortable, nice people, quite atmosphere. Wonderful pools with warm and cold thermal water. A bar and a restaurant in style and great food. Great value for money too. We'll be back soon. Definitely recommend
Lovely day, with several hot pools and one cold pool, I do love a cold dip for the anti- inflammation benefits. I had a fresh orange juice
Apparently one can only visit with "abbonamento" but that's not clear at all from their website 😠
Excellent place to enjoy a full break from bad thoughts and daily stress.
Excellent site, located right in front of a huge beautiful castle in Bacoli. The bar itself was built around ruins. Great music and atmosphere.
Relax time in winter. Nice swimming pools with hot water, solarium, good food. Very good quality/price..

Huge impressive building in its own right, Fantastic view from the entrance and the top of the castle. Several floors of artifacts, well set out. A few statues or copies of statues from Baia submersed area are on the ground floor of the main building. Buy a ticket at the entrance for €10 per person which gives you entrance to 4 different museum sites
Marvelous museum first rate great space especially of Greco Roman sculpture
Because travel from Naples is a bit tedious, the museum is lightly visited. We were staying in Monte di Procida so it was convenient. It was like having a private tour. Archaeologist are there to answer questions. Worth the trip for a tranquil and enlightening experience.
Huge building, artefacts well laid out over several floors, a room on roof relating to the written word was very interesting. Fantastic views from the castle over the bay.
For those that are in love with Roman history a place worth visiting. There are some wonderful pieces from all over the Phlegraean area. The reason for the four stars instead of five is the opening times. This is until 13:30 every day, like every other site in the area, hence don't expect to visit the whole area in one day!
Another fantastic Napoli experience of relics that galvanise our European history. Fascinating experience. A really good use of the 15C castle to house these artefacts from the Pozzouli area.
Archeological Museum of Campi Flegrei in Castello Aragonese, Bacoli Italy. Exceptional and important artefacts relating to Baia, Puteoli, Kyme, Bacoli, and Misenum, such as "Sacello degli Augustali" and sculptures of the "Ninfeo di Punta Epitaffio". Fantastic views from the castle terrace, absolutely worth seeing!
The views from the Castle are amazing and the artifacts are exceptional, well displayed, and descriptions are in English the documentaries are only in Italian

We did four dives over two days, on four different sites and each was more stunning than the last. Before the diving there is a brief on the locations, including what you will see but also a bit of the history, which for me makes it all the better. We had a mix of experience but all were catered to equally. The dive guides and other staff are friendly, helpful and funny and the whole experience could not have been more welcoming. We only had two days but I would happily spend a week there.
This was our second time diving with Subaia! Alexander is our favorite dive master! He is patient and friendly and does a great job of keeping track of everyone. He helps you explore the underwater city of Baia, and showed great points of interest. The entire staff (Eduardo, Carlo, Vittoria, Nadia and Jonah) were all amazing! Their gear is clean and well maintained and they are perfectly located for some of the coolest dives I have ever done. We will be back to dive with them again! Grazie Mille to Subaia!
We had an unforgettable freediving experience exploring the underwater archaeological remains. The instructors were fantastic, not only professional divers but also archaeologists, which made the whole experience even more special. Before diving, they shared historical insights, and in the water it was easy and safe to follow them while discovering the sites. Everything felt fun, well-organized, and safe. Highly recommended!🌊✨
Very friendly people with exciting archeological skills, but in the end an unsafe diving club. The regulators were in poor condition — covered in limescale and leaking multiple times, including the alternate (second stage) regulator. I had to interrupt two dives to replace faulty equipment. During one dive, water got into my husband's regulator, and he ended up swallowing it. The real problem is that after our dive all regulators where thrown together, so that nobody even knows which one is not working and the next diver is going to have the same problem. The steel air tanks were also not in good shape — many of them showed visible rust. The club’s organization was chaotic, the boat was overcrowded, with around 20 people on board, including not only divers but also snorkelers. The dives were shallow, but the current was strong and came from all directions. It can be very uncomfortable for beginners, even those with an Open Water certification. Good control of neutral buoyancy is essential here. A check dive prior to this experience is essential to avoid bigger problems and risks as well as to maximize the personal outcome. A small observation: I've never seen so many staff smoking all the time, even on the boat, directly coming out of the water...
Amazing dive centre, especially for those trying scuba for the first, been several times myself. Diving on the archeological park for a first dive will get you hooked and want to get your full certification for sure.
have a great diving 🤿 at here. The instructor are nice and friendly. We go only 5m deep, is really easy even for beginners. One star missing is cos we didn't see the status... I feel sad for not having a chance to see it under water. Some facilities need to improve, like the shower need separate from the toilet room.
An unforgettable snorkeling experience! I had an amazing time on this snorkeling trip! The underwater scenery was stunning, and everything was very well organized. The team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We did a total of four dives in two days here. Very professional - we had through introduction into what we will see and instructors were very nice, introducing relaxed atmosphere, yet made sure everybody was safe and gear checked. Gear itself was of good quality. Diving spots were memorable - mosaics under water, remnants of old buildings and underwater volcano! My friend who did more dives in his lifetime than me said that those spots ranked very high on his ranking of spots in Mediterranean Sea. We saw 4 spots, but there are more. So if you are like we were and wonder if it is worth to dive more than once here, be assured that it is worth it.

(Translated by Google) The location is excellent, with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Pozzuoli. The idea is very original: the place is created from an old bunker from the Second World War. A gazebo has been created and a beautiful lawn has been left around it. In itself it works more as a bar/snack shop but in my case I took part in a first communion lunch. The food was prepared directly from the kitchen, right portions, good flavors.

Pepsi drink totally out of gas.. it's not a €50 lunch at all but just €30.
