It's a nice park for walking...
Fantastic free playgrounds for the very young (fenced area) and older kids. New facilities and lots of locals. Little cafe next door with coffee and gelati. Recommended!
Lots of market stalls, nice atmosphere, lively cicadas.

Delicious food prepared with love by Rossella. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth such a treat
The most amazing place to enjoy the beach, food, and surroundings on the Tuscan coast. Every detail is simply outstanding
We had a nice time at Bagni Quercetano. We rented beach chairs + umbrella for €35 which may seem on the upper side but compared to the other clubs at Quercetano it’s on the lower end. We also ate lunch at the restaurant - my wife and I both ordered the seafood pasta and it was hands down one of the best meals on our trip. We really enjoyed our time and only wish we could’ve stayed longer.
The staff were quite rude, the beach club is really small and stuffed. It’s located towards the end of the beach, and on the day I went the shore was filled with seaweed and there was no opportunity swim because of how dirty that area was!
Wonderful place for a beach vacation!
nice ppl, we love the owner! Nice terrace with umbrellas and sunning seats , beautiful sea! Got a bar and restaurant as well.
Wow, what a great find. This restaurant is tucked away right on the beach in a cove. We went there several times, once for lunch (it was fantastic), and several times to watch the sunset with snacks and wine. We also rented chairs for a day.(only 20e for the day which included three chairs with an umbrella and a table.) Great friendly service also. I highly recommend it.
Always great 👍… recommend!

Beauty and tranquillity.
This place is at the heart of Castigioncello with woodland that surrounds this building. Nice place to walk round, however we could not enter the building due to cut backs. They had deemed the place unsafe and needed to be checked before being re-opened so I can't comment on the interior. It's free to enter the park and it's a great place if you want to cool down in the shade of the trees. There are a few cafe's within the grounds but none were open when we visited the park. Nice place to walk round and have a drink when open and just take things easy.
Maybe there's a possibility to climb up the tower, I didn't find. From the terrace the 'white beach' can be clearly seen (controversial reviews killed my desire to visit it). Nice place!
Beautiful landmark in the city. It was worth visiting for a quick walk around and views on the sea.
Nice castle from outside. Unfortunately not possible to visit inside
Nice views, peaceful cool park.

For those looking for “on the rocks” off the beaten tracks: 🌊🪨⛱️🍹free sea access or sunbeds with picnic tables in the shade, beach bar and parking. + reasonable prices, choose from sand to grass for hammocks + “free” beach (ok, it’s only rocks, so you better like climbing a little) + beach bar (from schiacciata to prosciutto e Melone to Franciacorta and kids menu) and tables in the shade (no sea view) + local (off the beaten tracks for most tourists) - don’t go if for you “beach = sand” - water access on the rocks (you might want to bring your water shoes), if you climb the rocks to the right you will find a latter or go straight from the beach clubs for some carved out stones To consider (after reading previous reviews): it’s a natural “beach” that consists of rocks, not a sandy beach. Bring your water shoes and snorkel (though locals go barefoot). It’s a bar, therefore “finger food” - don’t expect fine dining. Read that they break into cars, i had no problems and saw the police driving though the parking lot checking.
The beach is kept very nicely and the people very helpful. Nice touch to have a bar and lunch very close. Highly recommended
Calm beach area. There's an easy-going beach bar to take cover from the sun. Simple, fresh food to be enjoyed on the terrace with relaxed 70ies music.
Nice beach and very good bar/restaurant.
Too stony to get in the water. Seems like the paying customer enjoy a nice area.
Great simple beach bar/restaurant without added frills.
Very cosy place! Perfect to be with a kids.

I had my 50th birthday party here and everything was perfect! A special mention to the team as they were amazing - very professional and did everything they could to make it the best night. The setting is stunning and the layout of the venue is ideal for parties and then you have the nightclub to roll onto if you make it that far.
I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews, we wanted to have dinner here because of the nice view and sunset. Unfortunately those are the only good part of our experience. The food is overpriced for what it is and the service is questionable. One of the servers insisted on parting the grilled fish for us and just completely butchered it. What started out looking like a regular grilled fish ended up looking like dog food on two tiny plates with 0 presentation... For 40€... He didn't even leave all of the sides with us, they didn't fit on the tiny plates so he took them back to the kitchen??? When we decided to return the food he gave us an attitude about it so we were so uncomfortable we payed our bill and just left the rest of the food. Now I have to say this might have been an isolated incident with an awful server, but even so this is in Italy where you can eat amazing food for better prices at pretty much every street corner. So unless you come for the view don't come at all.
Pretty rude staff. There are a tonne of other nice places you can go, you might as well stear clear of this one.
We bought 5 dishes but sadly, 2/5 were not well coocked. When we saw the first one, we said and they bringed another. But after that I saw that my salmon also not finished. I could’nt eat that and left. The bill was too big for that kind of food. Will never come back again here.
Great food. Amazing view especially for the sunset. Staff went a little awol at the end but aside from that the service was very good.
The view is fantastic! The waiter are very friendly. The Sushi, the fish, the spaghetti, the risotto and the gnochetti are very good.
Very pretty view. But poor service and the food is nothing special especially compared to the price
Beautiful views, quite pricey, charged to get in for evenings but does get you a good strong drink. Quick walk to the town centre.

(Translated by Google) We visited the "Il Garagolo" beach club in Caletta di Castiglioncello (LI) in early September. The facility is beautiful and well-organized, with ramps and inclines. In addition to the umbrellas on the sand, there are others on a wooden platform. The beach leading to the sea is not sandy but rocky, like practically everywhere else along this stretch of coast. Compared to other beach clubs, we found the prices to be slightly lower than those at other local beaches, given the same season. The bar is well-stocked and organized. The staff is excellent, professional, and friendly. The water is crystal clear: I fell in love with it. We will be happy to return to this beach club. (Original) Siamo stati allo stabilimento "Il Garagolo" a Caletta di Castiglioncello (LI) i primi giorni di settembre. Bella struttura, ben organizzata, presenti rampe e piani inclinati. Bar ben fornito e organizzato. Personale eccellente, professionale e gentile. Mare dall' acqua limpida: me ne sono innamorata. Saremo contenti di ritornare in questo stabilimento.

Napoleonic and Art Nouveau villas flaunt their wealth while the park and public domain area look like the Bronx. (Translated by Google) The tower was built in the mid-16th century. Not being mentioned in a list of fortifications dating back to 1539, it is plausible that it was built after 1540 and completed by 1570. In 1606, with the establishment of the new Captaincy of Livorno, the tower became the southernmost lookout point of the territory dependent on the city of Labronica. It maintained its lookout and defense function (as it was home to a cuirassier garrison) even during the Lorraine domination. Subsequently, in the 19th century it passed to the State Property and in 1872 it became the property of Diego Martelli, who sold it to his mother in 1886. It later passed to Fausto Lazzaro Patrone, owner of a nearby residence now known as Castello Pasquini and between the end of the same century and the first decades of the twentieth century it was the subject of several changes of ownership, transformations and uses, so much so that Count Gualtiero Danieli built his own villa around it in neo-medieval style, according to the style imposed by the castle of Baron Patrone. In December 2002 the restoration of the structure was completed which allowed the monument to be brought back to its original conditions, while improving its accessibility.

(Translated by Google) In this place I had one of my first painting exhibitions. It is a building perched on the sea with enormous potential, restored a few years ago, but unfortunately it almost always lies closed and unused. It is heading towards its new degradation.
(Translated by Google) Stunning panorama! Thanks to the small summer library (Biblioteca del Sole) it is possible to visit the floor, the exteriors and stay on the terrace. (Original) Panorama stupendo!
(Translated by Google) Beautiful and overlooking the sea. Unfortunately even since it was renovated and no one is able to make it active and usable. Assurdo

So happy for living here in 1 month, perfect weather, food and culture 🇮🇹 i love it
Found it a little expansive (€80 for the day, including umbrella and 2 beds plus hot showers and cabin) however the atmosphere was lovely, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the sea water absolutely beautiful!
SOOO beautiful 🌟 it was so busy (we went on a sunday) but the weather was lovely, water was extremely clear and i had a lovely and relaxing time with my girls.
The entrance to the beach is beautiful but everything is unattractive. Crowded. Trash in the water - found a floating dirty diaper. Overpriced. Sold out chairs. Rude staff. Go early or go to another beach.
There’s one beautiful thing about this beach: the path leading down the stairs. Other than that, it’s full of sunbeds placed right next to each other, and it’s very crowded even on weekdays. They tried to sell us two sunbeds for €35 (because we’re foreigners), and the beds were no more than 1 meter apart. Unfortunately, the snack bar isn’t nice at all either. We expected more. Tip: a bit further away there’s a lovely free beach with crystal-clear water and far fewer people.
Amazing place and view. I did eat around there to a restaurant and the food very cheap and amazing.
Crowded. Either pay for a chair, or try to sit on beach between chairs and water. Water full of kelp.
Dog (un)friendly. You can bring your dog with you, but he needs to be on leash all the time and cannot go to the water (not even a paw). So if you wanna stay, take him a lot of water, colding pad or something else to keep him fresh.
