It's hard to imagine better service for a desert adventure. Clean, comfortable tent with bathroom, plentiful tasty dinner and breakfast. Super friendly employees for whom nothing is impossible - they took pictures and films on quads, told us a lot. I recommend
Easily accessible by any car, lots of activities to chose from, warm welcome. We saw the sunset and sun rise from nearby dunes - walking distance. Great experience in general. Take warm pijamas during winter season :)
Came for a shower and dinner and stayed for a week! Brahim and Omar were very welcoming and love to chat. Site is also beautiful. Can’t speak to the accommodation as I stayed in my van. I’m not normally an activity person but was really happy to do the camel ride. The dromeda are well treated and roam free when not working. Much like horses back home. It’s a cool experience and for 150 dirham a great way to support the locals! Food was also tasty and ample. Hot showers.
We received a very warm welcome. The tent was spacious and the camp had everything you needed. We had a nice dinner, a fire and a beautiful view at the stars at night! They helped us arrange our camel sunset tour which was great!
Such an incredible place and experience. We stayed just for one night, but should stayed for more. Tents were comfy and really nice with all those color full carpets. Food was delicious and hosts even played some drums in front of the fire. Clean night sky with thousands of starts and Sahara sand on your feet was just ... mind blowing.
Ali and Hassan and all the team are amazing. They came to pick us up at the bus station at 6am when we arrived and when we left they dropped us off there at 7am. They took such good care of us and made us feel at home in the desert. The bed is amazing and the tent is very cosy. WiFi and electricity are good and there is hot water. The camp has direct access to the dunes and the camel ride is a great experience. Also the swimming is an amazing luxury to have in the summer heat of the desert. Ali and Hassan are always willing to have a chat and watch the stars together at night. I highly recommend staying here, a life changing experience!
To recap: thanks to the hospitality and the exceptional experience we had with these people, this is one of best trips I've done. We stayed for one night and we did the sunset camel ride and the quad tour. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent. The price was more than reasonable. Ali, Brahim and the other folks treated us like their own family. There was someone available everytime we need something. During both activities, the guide not only told us stories and anecdotes about the dunes but they also took us to different places and viewpoints and they did everything to make the experience unforgettable. Honestly, we spent 24 hours there but it felt like a week thanks to the warmth and hospitality of these people.
Everything just Perfect, the staff is just so friendly, we especially enjoyed the camel Ride for sunset and quad drive for sunrise. WE loved it here.

Very large selection of homemade goods made by nomads. HUGE store. Tons of rugs, jewelry, pots, tea sets, mirrors, lanterns, wordwork, metalwork, scarfs, clothing, chests, and tons more. Great prices! Great service! And a clean and convenient bathroom. Perfect for a cool air stop and stroll before leaving town!
We found this place on our first day in Merzouga, and from the very first moment we felt the need to have a look. BEST DECISION EVER!! Personally, best shop we found in this trip to Morocco. Berber fine art pieces, stunning handwoven carpets, and very nice stuff!
Lovely experience. We came here to buy an authentic Berber carpet and left with so much more. Ahmad was super kind and patient. We were served tea and cold water. The selection of Berber carpets and Moroccan antiques is incredible.
We arrived here by chance while we were walking around, and it was an amazing suprise! The place is full of berbers antiques and handmade stuff, carpets, furnitures, plates and jewels, everything so nice and authentic. The staff is very nice and warm, and we bought some beautiful things for our home, I absolutely recommend it and we'll come back there in the future!
Great place to purchase a carpet!! Their designs are unique and not what you find in the big medinas or bazaars. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Fair pricing.
Amazing high quality items. The sellers are super sweet and don’t pressure you to buy at all. I loved the layout of the store and would come here again!! Please come, you will not regret it!!!
Fantastic shop with so many selections and varieties. I found everything I was looking for in one place. Store owner was so nice and helped us. I highly recommend!

We spent two nights in desert camp and service and everything was perfect for us. If you don't look for luxury but for natural expirience you are on right place. Youssef was also cooking meals for us and I can say that he made best tajine and kefta we eat in Morroco. He always prepeared more food than we can eat. Breakfasts were also very good. Also trips were organized super and complet expirience is super.
The room although very simple but very clean. Owner Youssef was very kind and allowed me to check in very early in the morning and even prepared breakfast for me. I also took the overnight camel trek offered by Youssef as it was very value for money. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend to take the overnight camel trek from Youssef.
Stayed at the well located hostel for 1 night also got the tour they offered for €40 which was a good price for the amazing experience! The owner was very nice and let us keep our stuff in the hostel overnight when we stayed in the desert, he also let us check out late so we could have a shower after ect. They also offer laundry service for a tip they do a really great job, so leave a good tip!
This place is perfect! The accommodation was perfect, the tour and camel ride and camp exceeded our expectations. It was so nice and relaxed with not many other people around. 5/5
We did the camp with Youssef, and it was a great experience for an affordable price. Great people, good food, good vibes. Though we highly recommend the camp, *We do not recommend booking a room in town*. They're very cheap, but not a good experience. Somewhat dirty, hot, have bugs. But the camp is awesome! It's cleaner, far nicer, and still affordable. We took a 4by4, as we don't support animal tourism; but the ride was fun and Youssef took us sandboarding. Highly recommended!
The best experience I had in Marokko. Very friendly host. Camel ride was amazing. Very good service. 10/10 would recommend.
for affordable price ~40€ you will get wonderful camel trip around two hours to the camp among the dunes. in the evening there is fire place, good and big local super with dessert and funny drums concert performed by local, funny guys speaking all world languages. it was well spent time on the sand dessert
A great place warm people you feel like you are in your home. Mohammed was very kind and soo sweet. A night in the desert with sahara music and so delicious food. we witnessed the sunrise and sunset we traversed to it by camels it was super cool and we did a tour in the 4×4 in the middle of the desert passing by great spots. Camel trek bivouac is a great choice you won't regret it 👌

Dear Muha, we want to thank you and all your colleagues for the magnificent trip we had to Merzouga ! Our driver, Mubarak is top ! He is very punctual, super friendly, a good driver, a good guide, flexible and helpful. The camp was wonderful and the people there also very nice ! The same goes for the camel owner. Also the communication with you was very nice, fast and to-the-point. We liked it from the beginning till the end and regret that we couldn’t stay longer. We will surely recommend you to other people and book you again for a next trip to Morocco.
5-Day, 4-Night Fes to Marrakech Tour including 2 nights in the Desert We had a wonderful experience on our tour. Hassan was our kind, patient and attentive driver that kept us safe and indulged us with our many requests for photo stops. Mohammad and Bahsoun were our camel guides in the desert and the most gracious hosts for our Berber private tenting experience. What an awesome time we had in the serenity and silence of the desert! In the Dades Gorges, Hassan arranged a local guide to take us on the trail to the Monkey Fingers. Ismail was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide that kept us on the straight and narrow. Prior to our arrival in Morocco, Moha (owner) exchanged many emails with us to ensure we had the tour we wanted. We were very pleased with the service and highly recommend Sahara Camel Trips.
Highly recommended! My wife and I booked private 2 day tour Marrakech - Sahara - Fes. The driver Hassan was very friendly and spoke english fluent. He was driving safely and professionally. We liked the stops at local coffe and lunch places on our way to Sahara. Car was big and comfortable, with plenty of space and working AC. Everything was greatly arranged. Hassan picked us from riad in Marrakech medina. We got the same room in camp that we have booked. The room was clean and nice. 5/5 recommended!
My friends and I had the most unforgettable 11-day adventure in Morocco, with the highlight being a 3-day tour from Errachidia to Marrakech through the Merzouga desert, thanks to Sahara Camel Trips! Moha, the owner, made organising everything easy – he was quick to respond, flexible with our requests, and had the best prices. We weren’t sure which tour to pick, but Moha sent all the options, helping us to make our decision. Our driver, Hassan, was fantastic. Thanks to him, we managed quad-biking, sandboarding, and a sunset camel ride to our desert camp (Jannat Luxury Camp) – all in one short afternoon because we arrived in the afternoon! The camp was amazing, with Wi-Fi, showers, delicious food, and a fun campfire drumming session. We even got to meet Hassan’s lovely brother, who works there. The next days were just as magical. We saw stunning canyons, Berber villages, twisty mountain roads, movie studios, and more – with Hassan going above and beyond to make everything perfect, even though he had another long drive ahead! If you’re after an unforgettable adventure, Sahara Camel Trips is the way to go. Huge thanks to Hassan, Moha, and the whole team – memories we’ll never forget!
We did the two nights camel trek, and it was completely worth it! From the email exchange with Moha to the camel trek with Bassou everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the night in the wild camp and having the desert for ourselves. And our guide was very friendly and organized, and cooked for us delicious meals! 100% recommended
We were on a two-day camel trek. All in all, we were very disappointed with the tour. The daily itinerary was unfortunately not carried out as advertised in writing beforehand. Essential items like water and toilet paper were missing from the list of things we were supposed to bring, which is now causing us difficulties. I found the agency itself to be unfriendly and unhelpful. Although it was stated that sandboarding was optional on the second day, it was never offered to us. On the contrary, we were supposed to go further into the desert to the luxury camp on the second night, which unfortunately didn't happen. Instead, we went back to the edge of the desert where many tents were set up, resembling mass tourism, with a view of a gas station. Dinner was meager, and we had to pay extra for drinks, even tho we booked all inclusive and they didn't tell us that we had to pay extra. It seemed like a blatant rip-off. We had booked the mixed option for an additional 20 euros, but it wasn't worth it at all. The only difference is that you have your own shower and toilet in your own tent on the second night. But basically, it would have been possible without the luxury option. That said, the impressions of the desert were wonderful, and the Berber gave us a great first evening. But it's generally not recommended otherwise ask exactly how, where and what.
Our desert trip was an incredible experience from start to finish. We stayed at a beautiful riad, rode camels, tried sandboarding, and spent a night in a desert camp. Along the way, we connected with the Berber community, tasted fresh local dates, and saw so many amazing sights. What truly made the journey stand out was our driver, Mubarak (Barack), who was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, making the whole experience seamless and memorable. Thank you for a great experience!
Amazing wild camp.experience in the Sahara on camel. It was our honeymoon so upgraded to have a private camp so we're the only ones. The camp was a lot more secluded than orhers
