A great 3 hour boat trip. Crew were friendly and informative. We saw a sea turtle, pilot whales and flying fish. The stop to swim was great and lunch provided was very good. The cliffs close up were amazing to see. I booked the trip through a lovely Ukrainian girl in the canarias.com office in Puerto de Santiago and she said it was a great trip and she was 100% correct.
They brought us to a family of pilot whales, which was awesome to see! This was the only thing they did well. - they didn’t give any information about the whales or about anything else - we then went to a swimming spot, which was fine but nothing special. Quite some fish to see but we weren’t allowed to go more than a few meters from the boat to go to nicer spots. Instead they brought the fish to us by feeding them. Anyone knows you shouldn’t feed wildlife, but they don’t care. Would’ve been nicer to go to an actually nice snorkel location or spend more time with another pod of whales/dolphin -on the way back they blasted loud music The scenery and whales are beautiful, but I’ll not rate them based on that, because all they did was drive the boat.
We had a great time on the 3 hour boat trip. The crew were helpful and informative, not just about the whales/dolphins but the local area also. The spot we stopped to swim was beautiful and lunch was served straight after (veggie option slightly lacking but was fine). Would highly recommend if you’re nearby!
We had a fantastic whale watching excursion with Gladiator U! 🐋 The crew was very friendly, the boat comfortable, and everything was perfectly organized. We spotted several whales up close, which was an unforgettable experience for me and my kids (12 and 14). A great family activity and highly recommended when visiting Tenerife.
Really fun day out with the family. Saw many pilot whales, ate some nice food and swam in the beautiful waters.
The trip was really nice, we would have loved to spend more time watching the whales, even if we let the group we stayed with to not bother them, we would have love to look for another animals, but it was still really nice
Great trip. Crew friendly and informative, saw pilot whales, dolphin and turtle. Great swim in bay and food good. All in all excellent value and great way to see wildlife and cliffs. So glad we chose this rather than the overpriced option direct with tour operator.
Went out on the 3 hour Whale and Dolphin cruise. Saw lots of both Pilot whales and Bottlenose Dolphins. The Dolphins played with the waves surfing in front of boat. We were given information about what we were seeing. Not too crowded. Had a nice lunch and drinks on board. Stopped for a swim at Masca Bay. A lovely trip! I thought cost was good value.

Splendid place to have a wonderful panorama over the ocean and the Los Gigantes. The sunset moment is the pick of the day.
I give this 3 stars only because although there is a view, there are other much better view points, and I didn't feel like I missed anything. What is nice is that there is a cafe next to it where you can grab a bite and there are souvenirs too. Parking is available on the side of the road, so it's not too bad if you'd like to stop here. No ticket needed - free to park and view!
Nice viewpoint, but with a name like Los Gigantes, I expected something a bit more… gigante. The view is pretty, sure, just didn’t knock my socks off. I also hoped to grab a coffee with a view, but the only place there felt more like a souvenir spot than a café. Not bad, just didn’t quite hit the mark.
Great spot to watch the sunset and the Los Gigantes cliffs. There are a few parking spots, a cafe and a small watchtower as well.
Nice view on Los Gigantes and nice little Café/Restaurant. The coffee and the pastries were excellent and the staff very friendly
Fabulous view, very nice bar in the shade
A stunning viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of towering cliffs and the vast ocean. A must-visit when exploring Tenerife — the perfect way to begin your journey around the island.
Cool and easy to get to spot for a sunset photo and chill without a big crowd 👍🏼

Seeing the negative reviews from other people, I can’t just help but wonder if we went to a different beach bar. Our experience was great. We needed some cocktails after a walk and the place was empty except for one table. We asked if they only take cash but thankfully they accept Revolut. We got our orders (margarita, mojito and aperol) and were served fairly quickly. The drinks were delicious and for the price that we paid- even better! We’ve not had the best of luck with cocktails at the hotel we’re staying but this little place turned out quite surprising.
Two empty tables, orders a large beer. However my companion did not decide right away. From the bar i am told that we should sit outside if we are not eating. Sure, fine, we get up and goes to the bar where we are told the same thing over and over. After saying no problem I understand 3 times i cut though the stream of words asking if i can order that beer or not? unlike others i actually got served in 5 minutes. Find somewhere else... unless you enjoy arguments and rude people on you Holliday.
Bar owner is a vile person I feel for his staff when it came to paying the bill told us it was cash only and sent is around 10 mins away to get cash whilst I was told to stay at the bar alone whilst my partner went to the cash point. When he came back and attempted to order another drink whilst holding cash to pay his bill was told he couldn't order anything untill he paid up in full, as if we were going not pay. We settled the bill and was screamed at whilst walking up the hill by him slagging us off to other customers. Toilets are public toilets at the rocky beach infront of the bar that is shared with no locks, running tap water or tissue paper. The owner clearly has a problem and needs help, not the way u treat paying customers. Please avoid at all costs, disgusting
We got a table and sat for 20 minutes before I had to go up to the bar and ask if it was bar service. Was told to sit down by the owner and he would come to the table. Waited another 10 minutes. The owner had a rude and unfriendly attitude. Ordered a chicken salad that took 25 minutes to appear. It was completely over salted. Would never go back. Don't advise giving this man any of your business.
Nasty bar owner who doesn't seem to like the English. Gin & tonic was ok, but can't comment on food as when we asked for a menu he wouldn't give us one. He said "you English only eat fish & chips! .... If you want fish & chips go somewhere else !!!! " He told my husband "I'm Spanish and I'm in control here not you!!" This used to be a lovely bar, and really busy, with lovely sunset views, such a shame it's been ruined. Other people in the bar were spoken to rudely too, so I don't think they will be back either. Don't waste your time or money here to be insulted. Can't understand where the good reviews have come from, can you .... !!??
Popped in here after a little snorkel in the bay. Instantly yelled at by the bar guy about smoking even though we had no intention of smoking. Ordered 2 cocktails, waited 20 mins and left. I read the previous reviews and yep this place couldn’t be less welcoming. Lots of other lovely bars and restaurants in this area!
Music was so loud it hurt your ears. When I asked the owner to turn it down a bit, he told me if you don't like the music, you can leave. He did turn it down slightly, but slowly turned it back up again to the point we couldn't stand it any longer. Seems to run the bar for his enjoyment, not the customers.
Wow. We came here to eat. Ordered drinks and asked for the menu 3 times. Nobody was paying attention to us. Then the owner came and said if we don't eat - we have to leave now. At that point we definitely did not want to eat there based on the level of service. So we said we will finish drink and will leave. Few seconds later the owner came raging, broke our glasses with drinks and rushed us out causing a huge scene. The whole place was in shock. I hope the owner will find peace soon and career not in customer service :) The venue is nice btw

Beautiful typical Canarian/Spanish church, well maintained and located on a perfect spot ! Very nice Christmas decorations during the holidays.
The Church of Santiago del Teide is a small but charming temple located in the heart of the historic center of the municipality. Surrounded by the majestic landscape of the southwest of Tenerife, this church is much more than a place of worship: it is a symbol of identity and tradition for the local community. Built in the 17th century, its simple and sober architecture reflects the spirituality of the place. Its white facade, typical of the Canarian style, contrasts beautifully with the volcanic environment and the nearby mountains. Inside, you can breathe a serene and cozy atmosphere, ideal for moments of reflection or simply to enjoy the sacred art and the history it houses. One of the most outstanding elements is its main altarpiece, dedicated to the apostle Santiago, patron saint of the municipality, as well as the religious celebrations that are held every July in his honor, especially the traditional pilgrimage, which brings together neighbors and visitors with music, color and devotion. Whether you are a believer or just looking for a place with historical and cultural value, the Church of Santiago del Teide is a mandatory stop on your visit to Tenerife. Its beauty, tranquility and natural environment make it a very special corner of the island.
Beautiful Church and open which makes a change. The interior is amazing. Well worth stopping. Lots of parking available along the road.
A lovely town to stop on your way from north to south Here is also the intersection towards Masca
Beautiful catholic church in Santiago del Teide. They have souvenir shop where you could buy local cookies and religion accessories.
Plaza from Santiago el Teide. Around nice 2 bars, tourist spots, bus stops to the Masca , and ATV tours.
Beautiful church with really nice Christmas decorations. The music inside the church is so soothing.
Small but cute church 😊

This company leaves flyers laying around all over town, many of which blow away into the landscape and sea. People come here for the natural beauty and companies like this show little respect for it.
Fantastic experience in the ocean! Juan Carlos offers a really nice treatment and the Kayak was so much fun to sail on. Amazing views by the way. We are repeating tomorrow! Thanks Juan Carlos, it was a pleasure!
We had a good experience, incredible views but you do need to be confident in water to enjoy!
(Translated by Google) Everything great, an experience to repeat. My partner and my son were there and we had a different and fun afternoon. The cliffs of Los Gigantes deserve to be seen from this perspective. It is not about a competition, but about going calmly and enjoying the wonderfulness of the place. We were able to reach a nearby beach, just below the cliffs, where 3 sailboats were anchored. A feeling of freedom and tranquility that very few activities offer you. Juan Carlos, the owner of the company is very kind, and very human. He gave us a small course before taking the kayaks, which was very worthwhile. The activity was delayed a little, but for logical reasons due to previous clients. But that half hour was added, so great because it made it possible for us to end up seeing a spectacular sunset. We will repeat for sure!! Thanks for everything. 100% recommended PS: Looking at the comments, I find it curious that on the same day and same time as Charo Arévalo, she had a bad experience. I don't share anything she thinks, and I sincerely believe that from the beginning what this girl is looking for is tension and conflict. It is obvious that water is charged, the delay was for logistical reasons, but it was not a problem but a benefit. It is not true that they have not given directions to the beach, since with the name provided by Juan Carlos, plus Google Maps, there is no problem getting there. And finally, it is curious that knowing so much about paddle surfing, and she saying in front of everyone that she is an instructor of that discipline, does not know how to maintain manners in the face of the previous explanations that Juan Carlos told us. If you are a professional in the union, you should be more empathetic and not offend and create such a bad atmosphere in front of other clients. In my opinion, if you have problems it is more appropriate to talk about them privately and above all from a constructive point of view, since in this way you can add quality value to the services of this company and not wanting to be so destructive. That afternoon we felt very uncomfortable with this girl's attitude.
(Translated by Google) Straight to the point: 1. You have to unload the kayaks yourself and carry them to the beach (200m). 2. We set out in rough seas with waves that made the experience difficult and unappealing. 3. The experience tells you it involves snorkeling, but we only had 10 minutes between the outbound and return trips to swim in a cove that smelled of boat fuel and trash. Out of 11 kayaks, no one took a dip… 4. During the entire experience, you're left to fend for yourself; the accompanying boat traveled out as far as 700m (and if you're going alone and in the open sea…), so the feeling of insecurity is incredible… In short, a bad experience overall. It's better to find another center… Mejor buscar otro centro….
(Translated by Google) We were super happy with this experience, Juan Carlos and his son were excellent, unbeatable professionals, the equipment was in very good condition, and they were always accompanied to make this experience safer. Thank you, we will surely repeat. (Original) Quedamos super contentos con esta experiencia, juan Carlos y su hijo excelentes profesionales inmejorables, los equipos en muy buen estado,y siempre estuvieron acompañados para hacer esta experiencia más segura. Gracias, seguro repetiremos.
(Translated by Google) A super beautiful experience! Recommended for everyone, even those who are deeply concerned about the sea (like me). And I want to highlight Juan Carlos's kindness. Thank you so much for everything 😊❤️ (Original) ¡Una experiencia super bonita! Recomendado para todo el mundo, incluso para quienes le tienen respeto al mar (como es mi caso). Y quiero destacar la amabilidad de Juan Carlos, muchísimas gracias por todo 😊❤️

Good location for walkers & cyclist. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. We ate in the restaurant during the evening and were very disappointed by the standard of food and the service. The chicken was very dry and limp salad plus stone cold potato chips didn't help. The waitress constantly played with her long hair which seemed inappropriate in a restaurant setting. We'd stay again as reception staff helpful, but certainly wouldn't have the evening meal as it was also a reasonably expensive and well below par. Shame!!
A lovely hotel. Different. Friendly helpful staff on reception. Lovely room with terrace (superior). Very clean & well kept. Restaurant was closed currently. Very quiet & relaxing . Plenty of parking spaces. Off the beaten track , great for hiking . Definitely not for beach resort people. Not much going on in the area .
The restaurant is open for everyone in the evening but there weren’t much people. And the staff is very nice. I really like it here. And the restaurant waitress was soooo nice too. The rooms were clean and luxurious and the breakfast was pretty good too. And near here if u have a car then u can do much here too. I wish I could’ve stayed longer than that. But o really like the staff. They were really nice :)
I stayed at this hotel during low season in October. The basic room was fantastic - absolutely huge and the bed was wonderful. The staff were really helpful, too. The only downside was that a lot of the complex wasn't open. Only the reception and one indoor restaurant was available. On the website you can see a bodega, additional restaurants, horse stables, a bar, and other things. None of these were open during my visit. I would have booked for different dates if I'd have known these wouldn't be open. Everything else was great.
We had an amazing experience with this hotel. When we arrived, there was a problem with the air conditioning, and from the moment the staff heard about it they went way and beyond to solve the problem. When they realized they couldn’t fix it in a timely manner, they moved us to another room that was in a higher price point, without charging anything more. The staff was lovely and helpful, and the hotel was calming, clean and comfortable. Very recommended!
Unfortunately not worthy of 4 stars. Many things missing not even coffee in rooms. The hotel itself is nice but everything is run on a low budget and you can feel it at every step. Not worth more than 80€ per night…
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Neat, clean and very much away from the crowds of the south (which is how we like things). We opted for a half-board option - seeing as the location was out in the sticks somewhat - this helped a lot, as we could spend the whole day out, come back, shower and stroll to dinner (and a have a good glass of red or two) without having to worry about driving. The food was good, but it could be a little more varied. Staff were all super friendly, and very helpful to our queries. Would definitely go back there if we visit Tenerife again.
The breakfast was almost all gone by 9am and was cold. Not replenished. Lots of greedy chops before 9am as we turned up to empty plates. We stopped going in the end. The rooms were nice, beds amazing. They put on a lovely Christmas meal which I really enjoyed.
