We came here on Mother's Day for a beautiful picnic! I am shocked that this beautiful park is in Coburg! It was so pretty, next to a lake and full of pretty trees!
Coburg lake reserve is very close to Pentridge Prison. If you are planning to visit, you can also come to this natural park to enjoy some fresh air. Either you can have a walk around the lake or have a picnic to enjoy a day.
A hidden gem in Melbourne’s north! Coburg Lake Reserve is the perfect spot to unwind. The walking trails are peaceful and shaded, and the lake itself is full of birdlife — ducks, swans, even the occasional heron. The playgrounds are great for kids, and there are lots of BBQs and picnic tables scattered throughout. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has a really relaxed community vibe. Whether you’re going for a run, a picnic, or just a quiet stroll by the water, this park has something for everyone. Highly recommend!
Great area with picnic area located in coburg with many birds residing parrots as well as others such as swans and ducks.
The place was beautiful, great for walking or just resting with friends and family.
Attended a fun run organised by the local council at Coburg Lake Reserve. Lovely setting with some nice hills to challenge you and a picturesque lake and running creek to add to the charm.
Great walk around the lake and surrounds.
Nice place for walk and some quiet time.

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.
Slide 1 of 8
It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Great atmosphere! Amazing food and awesome layout. Highly recommend it. If I could make one single change..... Fairy lights in the trees!!!!
It's nice. Good to see the mighty Coburg Lions.
Nice place to walk near the hospital
Many very handsome youths, shoveling away with their exuberant rumps
Nice little park with a drink water fountain, plenty of trees providing shade on sunny days and a bin for the dog walkers and other rubbish. A doggie-poo-bag-station is missing, so bring your own bags.
Really great park with beautiful gardens and lots of area's to enjoy and relax.
Nice and cosy get away park. Green and peaceful. Worth a visit
All in all a good quality night. Pizzas were tasty, well prepared and generously topped. Clean venue, nice ambience too.

“The yellow oranges and fresh carrots were incredible! I’d recommend it to everyone — you should definitely check it out!”
Coburg Farmers Market has a great community feel and a nice selection of stalls, but it can be a bit hit or miss. Some produce is excellent, though prices are often on the higher side compared to other local markets. Parking and crowds can also make the experience less enjoyable at times. Worth a visit if you’re after fresh, local goods, but not always the most convenient or best value option.
Pure Pies, prices aren’t displayed. Nor were we told how much 2 pies & jam donut were upon paying by card. Very shocked when checked our transactions to see a debit of $40+!!! Our just ok pies - extremely pricy
Really hard to find parking in this older area of Melbourne and hard to navigate through because of many one way streets. The stall holders are all pleasant and friendly but unless you have deep pockets, don't expect any bargain prices. Everything is way overpriced even if the products are great quality. Even the hot food costs an arm and a leg so the trip should be treated as a special occasion and save up for the visit. The stalls vary from week to week, so I recommend going online to see what stalls are available especially if you are searching for something specific.
I love the versatility of this market, friendly stall holders, fresh fruit, eggs, baked goods, citrus, smoked meat or fish, food made to order, fantastic !!
Beautiful place with all organic and fresh items!
A good place to get some organic stuff but unfortunately I didn't find anything worth buying as I found the prices a bit high. Also it is quite a small market.
Nice experience, a good 2 hour out with the wife and got some quality fruit and veg

Great place to cool off and get some sun over summer. Play or do laps or relax in the shade or sun. 50m outdoor pool with diving pool and 2 childrens' pools. Plenty of trees and grass as well as poolside, shaded concrete steps to sit on. Neat & clean. Can get busy on hot days.
Love this pool. Unpretentious, not too crowded, clean. Staff are great. Love the surroundings. It’s unheated but perfect for hotter days.
Alway a great pool. Beautiful trees and surrounds. Wish they would heat it so it could be used all year round and take some pressure off the coburg leisure centre which seems to have become a full time kids swimming lessons pool
Went here today and found the pool really dirty I’ve been here years ago and found the pool to be clean when I went last time not sure why it’s dirty as everyone else’s reviews seem to be good. But the life guards were really good and receptionist’s are really nice too.
If you’re like me and like cold, unheated pools, this place is for you! The facilities could do with an update, but other than that it’s a wonderful pool to go on a hot fay.
Great local swimming pool, affordable entry prices with concession available. Went on a summer Friday afternoon and they had food trucks !
I went to the pool and found it closed down. I called and they told me it will be closed down till next year. Please, Edit opening hours on google to avoid confusion for people. Thanks
Lovely local pool with great staff. People complain about them not being heated! Lots of shade and areas to relax by yourself or with family.

The club here, Moreland Zebras is really good, good teams, food, etc. The park/Field itself is kept in a good condition during the whole year. There is also a park left to the club house where little kids can play.
Nice soccer pitch beside a really lovely walking track. If there is a game going on then you can probably get good coffee from the club rooms.
This is a huge long trail. It is beautiful in spring and summer. Lots of people hanging out with their families or on their own. There is also playgrounds and workout stations. There are soccer fields as well. It can be quite alive and happening near those areas. Perfect to jog, walk or ride your bike.
Steep slope to the soccer field just beware if you have problems accessing slopes. Overall nice set-up and great club.
I guess a bird poo, make a lake bit of smelly. Otherwise great location for kids play at playground; grow ups relax at lake side to see all kind of bird. Beautiful view of opposite lake for all families. Like this place, laydown at guess, enjoin the afternoon sun warm my back. Expecially this playground have a fun sliding, my son love it! Recommended to all!
Good field. Had a great kick of the footy with a great Sheila. Grass, space, all you need in a field. Gets a bit bit dark at night time though. Aim for daylight hours.
Only good photo as only there round 2am my dog
Nice spot for the family. Good sized fort for the kids to play on and right next to a soccer field to kick a ball. Very close to the Bell St / Nicholson intersection so a bit noisy.

Love a good market but needs more people and stalls great atmosphere
Great for a visit. A few stalls. If you siphon through the trash, you may find some treasure 🪙🪙. Well priced food and a few quality items, depending on your flavour.. Some items you can get from the shops for the same price, but new.. I managed to get some homemade/fresh Danishes (two for $3).
As the years go by this place becomes more trash than treasure... Loved it back in the day when it used to pop off, now it's just people getting rid of stuff
Be careful. Trash and Treasure Markets sometimes sell items that are illegal in Victoria (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986, Regs 2021) such as fruit tree netting w a mesh size over 5mm x 5mm (pencil can go through) or cruel glue-board rodent traps or steel-jawed traps. Heavy fines apply for anyone selling or buying any of these items. Report to police on crimestoppers w photos, date/time also if possible. T&T can also be fined. Also, there is no seniors discount for stall holders - not even a dollar. Trash and Treasure needs to address this asap.
Well this was disappointing, I got here with just less than an hour before closing, and there was hardly any people left here... it's mostly people's garage junk anyway from the brief look I had with maybe some very cheap fruit and veg.
Bit ordinary. Mostly junk but maybe a few treasures if you're there early.
This trash and treasure market is the best, reminds me of a smaller Laverton trash and treasure market, which I love.
Used to be a good market. Now don't bother going after 11am. 90% of stalls fully packed up by 11.30am. If you're going to advertise a 1pm close atheist have stalls around until 12.30pm.

A wonderful park with many seating spaces. Undercover area, basketball ring, a grassed area big enough to have a game of footy, and good parking. The tennis courts are located right there - although I think you would have to book those separately. Only problem is it might actually double as a dog park, as there were many dogs off leaches and not everyone is fond of having a dog climb over your picnic table. One couple just had no respect for anyone and were unbothered seeing their dog help himself to peoples food. Many kids are scared of dogs and I’m sure most people don’t wish to share their lunch with someone else’s dog and his slobber.
Decent park. Good for older kids, not so much for toddlers as little to do for them. Flying fox is fab and play boat is fun too. No grassed area near play equipment to pop a rug, and little shade unfortunately. BBQ and tables, basketball half court, grass area above the play equipment to kick a ball around.
This playground is pretty good, but doesn't have a lot of shading if it's a hot day. Makes the equipment super hot, which can burn the kids in shorts and then they don't want to play There's street parking away from Bell St, which is good, and a toilet on-site. There's even a swing enabled for wheelchair users. Nice green spots for a picnic or limited bbq tables under cover too.
Nice little haven just off Bell St. They have a playground with a flying fox, plus a swing designed for kids in a wheelchair. There are also a couple of undercover barbecues, a basketball ring and a table tennis table.
Lovely park with a great playground, tables, cover, toilets, and easy parking. The playground is most suitable for older toddlers and children but there's something for everyone
Great park with good range of children play equipment, bbq, undercover area with tables and open space for ball games. There are remainsthe former residence of William Thomas, assistant protector of the Aborigines of Port Phillip & guardian of the Aborigines of Victoria 1839 to 1843. No plaque or acknowledgement of his positive or negative role in this space.
Great secret location with mix of activities close by. The playground is the big draw card with fun for all ages and sound play provided by HAPi® sculpture. A local gem with shelter and BBQ.
Its the choice of the local kids. Flying fox, 2 storey treehouse with slides on each level. Basketball hooo, concrete ping pong tables room to kick a footy. Covered Bbq area. Very popular on weekends eith kids parties.

Chasing Balloons and Finding Gold This morning, I woke up to the sight of hot air balloons floating across the sky like it was no big deal. Naturally, I grabbed a coffee, ignored everything I was supposed to do, and followed them like a detective in a true-crime show (except with way less purpose and way more trackies). The chase led me to Harmony Park in Coburg—a park so good I’m wondering why I hadn’t stumbled across it earlier. This place has everything. A playground that makes you wish you were 10 again, a skate park for the kids who can actually ride (and the ones just loitering with their mates), and loads of room to chuck down a picnic rug. It’s just the right size—not so massive you need Google Maps, but not so tiny you feel like you’re in someone’s backyard. The real plot twist, though? Those balloons didn’t just float by—they actually landed in the park. Yep, Harmony Park doubles as a balloon landing strip. One minute you’re thinking, “This is a nice place for a picnic,” and the next you’re watching giant flying baskets touch down like it’s the most casual thing in the world. Honestly, I was waiting for someone to hop out and offer me champagne. So, if you’re after a park with playgrounds, picnic spots, skate vibes, and occasional balloon touchdowns, Harmony Park is where it’s at. Who knew following floating objects could lead to such a solid morning?
Nice park. Kids enjoyed the different equipment on offer. Has a BBQ and shaded areas. Toilets need attention but otherwise great fun for the kids.
Awesome park, it has everything for everyone. Big playground with 4 slides and plenty of gym stuff. 5 swings, huge sandpit with some in-build games, logs for equilibrium, web ropes for climbing and a small slide for the younger ones. It also have a decent BBQ area that’s covered and a public bathroom nearby. Wait… there’s more, it is next to the skate park and there is plenty green space for a footy/soccer match. So it has everything, 5 ⭐️ definitely.
good place. big. has some gym equip. plenty room for kids to play. many toys. plus 2 skate pits
A big park that has a tunnel slide, two slides side by side, a medium slide, a small slide, rope bridge, wheels you can spin, tunnel, a boat, birds nest swing, hammock, sand pit, seasaw, line up 4, digger, swings, climbing frame, musical chimes you can bang and musical trampoline, gym equipment, skate park basketball court, undercover tables and bench seats, drinking tap, BBQ and tolite lots of grass area to play on for the kids and dogs and rubbish bins
Good playground where kids can experience various skills such as making sounds, building with sand, jumping and climbing. There is also skating area within the park. I saw sings of no BBQ is allowed and it could be new because earlier reviews claimed there is BBQ spots.
Best kids playground I've seen. Caters to all ages. Great skatepark, picnic area, bike path, smaller children's play area, sheltered seating for parents. Lawned picnic area under huge gum tree.
Great space for kids, toddler area and big kids area with public toilets available that's such a bonus!

Open till 5:30pm (and 7:30pm daylight saving). Has toilet facilities. Also has signs indicating which smaller paths are safer / easier to walk on.
A beautiful place for a stroll with lots of local history. Best to stay on the designated paths as it can be very slippery after rain and even when dry, the ground can be uneven.
A lot of history here. With quite a number of people who have served in the armed forces. The site needs a clean up. There is a lot of uneven ground, stones and open water drains to trip on. The early graves have a lot of iron works on them which makes them stand out from the rest. There is no site car parks.
Really hurt myself whilst visiting my in-laws. Rolled my ankle on one of the smaller paths, wasn't safe/easy to walk on.
This is the dead centre of town. People are dying to get in here. Great spot for black metal band photos too.
Very old cemetery. Interesting but needs repairs
Great place to hide the bodies, nobody'll suspect it!

It's a beautiful green oasis in Melbourne's northern suburbs! It's an ideal park for going for a stroll or picnic with family and/or friends. There's a beautiful lake in the park which is home to ducks and geese. There are two playgrounds for the kids and lots of open areas. There are several benches, barbecues and public toilets. There's also free parking available around the park.
Large playground for kids. Plenty sitting areas/ benches for picnic/ parties . We went on a Saturday and there were 2 parties happening and still there was enough space. Toilets are close by.
Good playground and exercise equipment. Rather dirty BBQ area as many birds poop on the picnic tables and benches. Not as busy as other areas surrounding the lake
Its a lovely place to have picnic with family. Kids love playig around with ducks and birds and then there are a lot of great swings as well. Also they have areas for BBQ which makes it even better you can cook fresh food here. There are also long tracks for jogging if you are not a picnic person. The lake is amazing with its natural wildlife. It makes you feel at peace and helps connecting back to nature.
Gradients suitable for all ages. Certain paths are slippery when wet. Pretty empty on most days. Plenty of bin chickens to stalk.
everytime you visit this place, you want to come back again...the walk around the lake is serene and the playground itself keeps the kids busy for hours
I've been in this park several times, it's quite and nice. If you are looking for fresh air, I highly recommend you to visit it.
Beautiful, beautiful and wonderful place to chill out and get the kids to play around.
