This is a pretty easy little hike up to the top of Montana roja. There is a path that leads directly from the parking lot all the way up to the top. You can also sort of create your own if you choose, although there is a lot of loose gravel and footing so be careful. You can traverse down the backside towards the cliff but be careful.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Tenerife Airport Taxi service, and I must say, it was an unexpectedly delightful experience. Despite the vehicle being vintage, it added a unique charm to the ride. The driver navigated with such skill that we arrived at our destination super quickly, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. Moreover, the fare was **affordable**, making it an excellent value for the service provided. It's not every day you get to enjoy a speedy ride in a classic car at a bargain price. I would definitely recommend Tenerife Airport Taxi to travelers looking for reliable and cost-effective transportation.

After experiencing lengthy queues on our last holiday I thought it best to prebook our taxi with the company advertised by the airport. Little did i know all i was booking was a ‘push in’ the queue. I would NOT recommend this service. We arrived late in the night, so after a full day of travelling to be greeted by the ‘jump in the queue’ and no we have no room for those big cases!! We were a family of 4 Adults 2 children and 1 infant. So, 2 taxis were allocated. Both the drivers were rude to us, in-fact the driver of our allocated car happily threw our cases in his boot!!! Then arrogantly drove me my husband and my grandson at speed to our hotel, utter disgrace! He also road raged on another taxi that pulled out on us! Then once we arrived thankfully alive at our hotel the driver asked my husband for a tip! So NO I WOULD NOT recommend pre booking this shoddy company (17.05.25)

Terrible! The driver was extremely rude! Even though we took the official taxi from the official airport spot, the driver was shouting at us saying we were not tourists and why we would come here (not knowing we understood him in Spanish). We put in the navigation for him cause he didn’t know or understand where he should go even though locals helped us and we explained it in Spanish and the local taxi stand explained it to him but still he didn’t know the place and he still took the wrong way and charged us extra, and kept on being extremely insulting. Which wasn’t a great start for two women going on vacation. We ended up paying way more and it was a very unpleasant start into our vacation so if you can arrange a pick up with your hotel we would highly recommend that as an alternative!

The worst taxi experience ever. I was charged 28 euros for a 7km and ten minute taxi ride. The meter was at 13 euros and the taxi driver decided to stop and turn it off 2km from my destination, where he also tried to get me to leave the taxi. He deliberately missed a very obvious right turn. He then turned the meter on again and completely unnecessarily went into a built up area. I wish I had gotten his name. I did not have the energy to argue with him but the receptionist at my accommodation was disgusted that this was the initial experience of someone coming to visit Tenerife and offered to take me back to the taxi for free if he was not working. Maybe I just got a bad one, but it’s best to be aware that even if someone is licensed they can still rip you off.

The worst "service" ever. The taxi never came, we almost missed our flights, lost our money, and got zero replies from phone/e-mail for refund. Stay away.

Never seen a meter move so fast 🤔 like the back to future car meter lol and charge double time sundays funny thing is the driver asked if i lived in spain and when said no !! He pressed meter button twise

Hired a Pinarello for a very good price. The bicycle came well serviced and was great to ride. The shop were very friendly on emails and in person. The bicycle is supplied with two bottle cages, a saddle bag, inner tube and pump. The shop has a lot to offer, including gels and bars. Thanks guys.

I rented a bike at Bike point El Medano for one week, my second time. A nice Ridley bike which was in perfect condition. Very friendly staff and good service. I also rented a Scott MTB for one day for beautiful off road scenery. A total of 550 km with 11.500 mtr of altitude. Hope to be back end of the year and see you again.

simply an amazing experience! I bought one of their 2nd hand bikes on their yearly sale. and OMG, what a service. Beyond friendly, with loads of patience with my decision process, they explained whatever I didn't know.. with one word Awesome. I had quite a bad bike-buying experience in the past, so a support when choosing what bike to buy was especially importnat to me. I've rented Cervelo R5 from the Bike Point. It was servised amazingly, no issues at all. Communication was great and the staff was nice. Very much recommended.

I rented a bike from Bike point during the Easter week. The establishment has a very professional look and the team there were very helpful and friendly. I was told that the bike I had rented had been sold and was therefore given an upgraded option, great! Moreover the team responded a short notice to an ask for a saddle switch to a more comfortable one which I again very much appreciated. Unfortunately, it seems that the electric gear shifting had not been charged properly as after only 4.5 days of cycling (normally the battery holds for about a month), initially the front and not so long after the back shifting gave out, this meant I was locked on the 3rd back gear in the back and lower gear in front, just ahead of the Masca climb (over 10% angle on average). It massively hampered my ascent and unfortunately really dampened that days efforts... On the positive side I managed to pull it off. So while it all seemed great I unfortunately have to lower my grade as I received a faulty bike, and ultimately it’s not cheap so I would have expected it to work flawlessly…

Rented a Scott addict at full price for a day. Bike was ready and helpful staff got me all sorted and out reasonably quick. After setting off maybe 10-15 mins I noticed that the handle bars weren’t straight. And then I noticed the saddle wasn’t level. All a simple fix true. But when you are bending charged a premium price, you should except a premium service! When I dropped the bike off and told the same staff member, I did get an apology for the handlebars, but I was told that I can adjust the saddle as it’s not hard. A little disappointing tbh. The bike worked well, gears seamless shifting and brakes worked well. But the experience was all let down by the bike not being properly checked before it was released to myself.

Rented a bike in El Medano for 6 days. The communication via mail beforehand was great and the shops owner was very helpful. I got very lucky to get a bike in high season so my cycling holidays was saved :). My bike was a BMC 105 aluminum bike and in mint condition! I really enjoyed riding it and you can tell the shop takes great care of the bikes. I ended up buying a physical map from them shop, which I can only recommend, to visualize my tours, both planned and taken. The shop owner was so helpful in finding great routes! Looking at Komoot is one thing, but actually talking to someone who knows the roads and winds on the island made all the difference. That all being said I cannot recommend Bike Point Tenerife El Medano enough. I'm happy to come back. Thank you guys for making my bike trip possible and awesome. For everyone planning trips from El Medano, do cycle up to Vilaflor, I loved the rewarding pastry after a few hours of climbing!!! *** my review was not posted and I don't understand why. Amazing experience. All trail leaders are amazing, so lovely and friendly and put you at ease. Great conversations and they were so welcoming and lovely. I fully recommend they are amazing, all the animals are looked after amazingly and in amazing shape. They teach you as you go and for my novice dad he felt so safe and secure.

Amazing experience with wonderful people. The horses are beautifully kept, and all the animals and people were so happy and friendly. Couldn’t recommend highly enough; I’ve been riding all my life and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had riding abroad!

Absolutely brilliant experience and highly recommend! I went with my aunt and cousin (experienced riders and horse owners) while they were here on vacation, along with my husband (the two of us, meanwhile, are inexperienced riders). We were all incredibly impressed by the professionalism from start (first WhatsApp inquiry) to finish. We had two wranglers on our ride, and both provided excellent instruction. Carolina is an absolute delight and joy to be around, and you feel and know you’re in capable hands from the moment of arrival. Horses are extremely well cared for, and they know their horses well and pair you accordingly. It was wonderful to be able to experience the ride and gorgeous landscape all together! And at times, my aunt and cousin rode ahead with one wrangler while they provided us beginners more instruction. Superb outfit. We very much hope to return!

Been riding here for 11 months here and love it . Great horses, instruction and fun . Super fun scenery rides outdoors . I was so impressed by the warm 4 family members who are always in groups are with you , 2 guides not only 1 ,they are warm, kind friendly people who make you feel at home and safe . Horses are well looked after and trained well . Not ridden much in 20 years and feel great again .

I booked this for my 12 year old son and me and we absolutely loved this horse trek. The communication from directions to booking was excellent. Very clear, friendly people. The trek itself was excellent, very different to other treks I have done as you start as a big group, then go off in small groups and you get a little more personalised tutoring and more fun. It is not just follow the leader walking like other treks. I would highly recommend booking this trek with them.

I highly recommend Rancho Bonanza! My family, including my 10-year-old, had an amazing time on our 2-hour ride. The horses were super well-trained, the trail was fun, and the best part was Oscar and Kiko—they were not only professional but also super attentive and great company throughout the ride. Carlos, who was the host, was very friendly. The wine yard is a family yard. Carlos explained the family history and everything about the wine in Tenerife. A great experience for wine lovers.

Lovely family-owned winery that offers canarian wine and tours with a tasting. We had a great time with Carlos as our guide. He showed us the traditional as well as the modern part of the winery and we were able to learn more about canarian wines. Two very friendly dogs joined us for the tour and in the end we had 4 very tasty wines with snacks. All in all a great experience :) Thank you!

A great small shopping centre. Sadly parking a problem. Lots of different shops plus good supermarket. Cafe bars and restaurants. Restrooms spotless.

What to find here? A supermarket, a broker, some café bars, Indian restaurant, Chinese restaurant, clothe shop, icecream shop, mobile shop, laundromat, public toilet, an ATM machine, pedicure/manicure store and underneath a paid parking garage. On the outside you can still park free. The place is covered, but when it rains it will get wet.
