We had a great family day out at The Milky Way with plenty to keep the children (5 and 2) amused. There was plenty to do inside and outside. The park is very clean and well looked after, there is plenty of space. I appreciated the effort put in to having things for under 5's to do. We also enjoyed the Magic Show and Birds of Prey shows - these where a great addition to the other attractions. The staff where also very friendly and accommodating.
Fun day out for whole family - went with a 5, 7, 2x 13 year olds and the assorted parents and grandparents. Loads for the younger ones to do, enough to keep the older ones interested as well. Highlight for myself and the teenagers was the Falconry display. Absolutely amazing stuff with the birds, great talk and one of my boys purchased an art print from David who runs them. Also great display of Star Wars and Dr Who memorabilia. Fantastic day out.
Fantastic, despite truly awful weather! Torrential rain most of the day, with blustery wind, so some of the outside rides were forced to close for safety reasons. A couple of them did open briefly and were enjoyed by the teens in my family group. The birds of prey centre and the beautiful art of David who runs it, were still accessable, and he managed a small, very informative and interesting, indoor display with some of his birds, however the outdoor display with the larger birds could not go ahead. Brilliant! and a lovely chap to have met. We visited in late September for a family birthday and there was still plenty to do all day, despite the weather outside. The restaurant staff went out of their way to provide menus for us that included food that my grandson, who has various severe allergies ,was able to eat and later, despite notices saying only food bought there could be consumed there, they very kindly allowed us to bring our own vegan and allergy free birthday cake in for the birthday boy. So very kind and very much appreciated. Our mixed age,( ranging from 9months to 76), family party of nine had an absolutely fantastic time and Great Grandmother 76,gave everyone watching, plenty of laughs by going down the highest Black Hole drop slide!
We went there for the bird show but we did just about every thing else in spite of not having young children. The ticket staff were welcoming and informative. They could not have been more helpful. David the falconer was superb at everything and we had a good chat in his shop and bought some of his amazing artwork. Son took loads of photos. Merlin was very entertaining indeed. Don't want to give anything away but he was hilarious. The cafe had some seriously cheesy jacket spuds. We had to have a milky way as well. The ride staff were polite and fun, and mentioned other things to do. Signposting was good. Thanks for a great day out.
We come to the milky way every year and have always had an amazing time. The rides are fun and the soft play and pottery shed is always a good time. However the highlight of the day are the birds of prey. The bird show is amazing and even though it's normal very similar each year, always worth watching. How are work is beautiful and is my mother in-law favourite artist, so we always have a look at how art and the fact you can meet the birds that they are basted on makes it more special. I don't recommend the cafe, it's basic food and the setting in both cafes are uncomfortable and tbh very expensive however there are plenty of seating to eat an packlunch. It's a welcome to all children of all like and dislikes and all ages. Get there by 11 am and watch the magic show its funny and interesting.
We visited on a week day whilst the local schools were back from their Easter break. There were no queues for any of the rides. The sire was very well organised and very tidy. The facilities were all clean. Friendly helpful staff. You can easily spend the whole day and not get bored. Definitely watch one of the shows and do not miss the falconry show I've never seen one like it the birds fly very close to the audience 😀
We visited during half term with a 5 and 8 year old and had a brilliant time! No long waits for rides, and on a couple we went straight back on. Plenty of things to do and only a couple you have to pay extra for (we didn't and still had lots to do). A major highlight was the outdoor falconry show, the presenter was really knowledgeable and had the falcons flying right over our heads. We didn't see the other shows but wish we had now! Also recommend the pizza in the Star Light restaurant, freshly cooked and very tasty.
Wow, what a brilliant adventure park in Devon. Lots of fun for kids and parents together. Love slides, rellercoasters, laser tag(brilliant), painting pottery, penalty shootout and of course science, magic and space talk. All brilliant and entertaining 😁

Been taking my boy here for quite a while now and it's absolutely brilliant, built his confidence up and taught him so much as well as being fun and sociable. Jo does a great job here and runs brilliant classes!!
We enjoy very much to come to Little Stars Bideford and we attended classes there with our toddler regularly. Now, a little smell from the kitchen in the soft play area happened before and can be considered normal for an open space with a kitchen included. But today was actually smoky in the soft play. At the beginning was very obvious at the upper levels and I reported it. A member of staff thanked me for informing them, but nothing happened and in half of hour we had to leave. By then, you could not ignore the smoke anymore, was everywhere and at the top of the soft play you could actually see it. Please repair your exhaust, or at least open doors/windows, it’s not healthy to breathe all that smoke. Thank you
Brought my daughter to little stars baby class for 6 months, thoroughly enjoyed it. Jo the teacher was so welcoming, kind and accommodating. Different songs and theme each week so the babies as they got older didn’t get bored, but also the same welcoming and finishing song so the children got to know when the class started and finished. Easy to park for free, nice cafe inside.

Beautiful shop, some lovely items.
I had an amazing experience on what i can only describe as my best crafting day ever. Absolutely love the 2 scarves i made. i would not have been able to produce what i did without, the help, guidance and inspiration of both Ann and Bill Jarvis. If you are thinking of having a go i recommend booking a workshop. you will not be disappointed
Lovely silk shop. The man in the shop is very kind and informative.
I popped into the shop whilst my kids were painting pots with my husband. Such a lovely space to be inspired by. Had a chat with a gentleman, purchased a lego kit that his grandson had collated and was selling and two postcards that were photographs of a murial that local children had painted of the harbour.
Thank you very much for the two lovely silk scarves purchased today and your lovely keep sake for baby Amelia beautiful gifts
Lovely products. Can see the silkworms with information about the production of silk.

(Translated by Google) In March 2017 we were in Clovelly and visited the Donkeyshop, which has a large number of nice souvenirs. I was drawn to a tweed jacket that wasn't available in my size. Jack said he would make me one to my measurements, took the measurements directly from me and promised the jacket would arrive soon. We paid £85 upfront as security. The jacket came, the sleeves were 20 cm too long. I sent Jack a photo and he asked me to send the jacket back so he could correct the sleeves. I did this. And then nothing happened for weeks. He kept promising to change the sleeves, but after months I canceled the order and asked Jack to refund the deposit. Which he hasn't done to this day. We called the shop again and again and wrote emails. Jack behaved in a completely un-British, rude and brazen manner when I asked for a refund. At least I wasn't responsible for the sleeves being too long; he took the measurements himself. His reason for not wanting to pay the money back was that he canceled the order after waiting five months for the jacket to be changed and returned. Never again Donkeyshop! We visited this shop in March 2017 and I ordered a handtailored jacket from Jack from the measures he took himself from me in the shop. Also we made an advanced payment of about 85 Pounds as to show our agreement and to assure him of the seriousness regarding the order. I was thrilled to call one of those beautiful tweed jackets my own once it would have been shipped to me to Germany. The jacket arrived after a few weeks but the sleeves were much too long. I took a photo for Jack and measured them again myself, they were about 20 cm too long. I emailed Jack and he told me to send the jacket back so that he could shorten the sleeves and ship the jacket back to me. He never did. Nor did I ever get the money back I paid in advance. 85 Pounds for nothing and he behaved very un-British in a very inpolite and impertinent manner. I would not recommend anyone to ever do any business with the owner of the Donkeyshop. I am really shocked about this incident as nothing of it was my fault. Absolutely beautiful. I had a great walk through the woods and to the sea.
Nice stony beach with remnants of the mill and other derelict buildings
I own the cottage 30 seconds walk from this beach, go here every year
Beautiful walk down from Brownham NT car park, through the woods and along the headland. It was a little muddy and lots of steps up but well worth it. Equally stunning walk back via a different route up the valley. This is a more gentle walk and easier to walk down to if you don’t fancy the steps. Just look on the map and you’ll see the path running up the valley. We visited the beach when the tide was coming in so missed the sand but the kids enjoyed playing on the rocks and exploring. Definitely recommend a visit to this secluded spot.
Mouth mill Beach, well worth the walk from the national trust car park. Not a beach as such but what a fantastic view. We realy do have some great attractions in this country.
went their with my two mates and afternoon teachers to cook some bacon and explore the area. If you go into the last band building their is was loft you can climb into but I won’t recommend that because you can fall down and hurt yourself badly, the walls are covered in 9/11 jokes and graffiti, random circle you can crawl into with a bunch of rubbish and to the right on a path you will find that goes above the building and their the same circle it’s a chimney I think, their used to burn stuff, tell me if I’m wrong.
Mouthmill Beach is the home of the stunning Blackchurch Rock. In order to get up close and personal with this fabulous piece of geology you will need to check the times of the high tide, as there is a limited timespan to be able to walk all around the rock before the tide comes back in to shore. A fairly tough walk down from the national trust Brownsham car park takes approximately 45 minutes, but it is worth every step to experience this beautiful beach. A real hidden gem.
Beautiful little stoney beach. Definitely worth a visit, with a lovely walk from the car park through forest and fields with views of the sea.
