Whatever you're looking for this place will have it. Quirky furniture, memorabilia nik naks and tat. Its all here. Worth visiting if you are in Brackley. Such a shame that they lose stock to dishonest people. They have a wall of shame. CCTV images of shoplifters. Only handbags allowed. I had to leave my rucksack with the staff. I particularly liked the Oriental chest
Had a fab time looking around the vast amount of fabulous items. Had a coffee and a snack in the café the food is 100%. Lovely staff so friendly and I didn't have an issue having my bag locked up for safe keeping less for me to carry around. We'll definitely be back to see all the bits we missed. Thanks for a very positive experience I would definitely recommend you go and take a look for yourselves.
Based in the town centre, a large emporium based in the cellar. Large bags can be left at the reception. No Internet connection available down here. Tea room located in one corner of the room. Toilets facilities available near the tea room. Be prepared to spend several hours here, looking through the units. I remember a dedicated unit to vinyl LPs. Quite alot of ladies clothes though not entirely vintage. There is a unit in the corner with Barbour jackets and lambswool jumpers. Plenty of unique vintage antiques with some modern curios for sale here. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent choice of items. Lovely place to browse. Friendly, helpful staff. A great visiting experience. The centre is free to enter, the car park is shared with Waitrose, and is also free, with a maximum stay of 2 1/2 hours, plenty of time. They have a very nice little cafe with plenty of seating and toilets too.
Terrific range of items, spent several hours here including a lovely lunch served with great care and good humour. We found local free on-street parking for 3H, it was a weekday so no issues with spaces. Hadn't been to Brackley since the by-pass was built- much quieter these days!
We REALLY enjoyed going here! Such amazing stuff! Prices varied but there is something for everyone. It's made up of loads of little spaces owned by people and you go and pay at the central desk. There are baskets at the front by the stairs, I didn't see them, as I was already gawping every which way. The toilets are spacious & clean. The cafe was brilliant. The staff were very friendly, I already feel like a regular and the food was delicious. The portions are massive, the salad was so flavoursome that I think it must have been grown locally. The cakes were also a decent portion. We had a massive jacket potato cheese & beans, large prawns sandwich, salad (as shown in pic), chocolate cake slice, can of real coke and a large mug of cappuccino. That all came to £20.20 Well worth it. There is a car park, which belongs to Waitrose, but only free for 2 hrs, which isn't enough time to gorge your eyes...you will definitely need a trip to the cafe, just for a break. You'll easily need 4 hours. Is disabled friendly too (wheelchair lift). Of
Never been so humiliated in my life. After I was treasure hunting for over an hour the woman on the till asked me for my bag. At first I was reluctant as it had my ipad and notes I needed for some work correspondence. After being there another hour or so I noticed I was the only person minus their bag. She asked no one else. I felt like dirt. I stupidly spent £60 and chucked my wears in the bin when i got home as it will only remind me of the worst shopping experience ive had in years. I'd love to swear right now but she needs training. I only spent £60 to try and save face so I didn't come across as a theif. In total we've spent a good couple of grand over the last 6 years in this store.. Needless to say we wont be coming back
A huge centre, with just about every possible antique and collectible genre covered. It's like walking through an enormous treasure trove. Set out in spacious aisles and rows, and with so much variety, there's something for everyone, covering all budgets too. Definitely worth travelling to if you don't live in the vicinity. Wheelchair access. Plenty of parking, on site cafe. Entrance via Waitrose Car Park, it's just around the corner and down the stairs.

I had the most phenomenal experience tandem skydiving here for my 30th birthday. Both my instructor Mr Ford and their cameraman Mr Cameron (my apologies I am terrible with first names) were incredible, so friendly and funny, making me smile and laugh throughout! I would highly recommend skydiving here and cannot wait to come again :)
AMAZING! Me and my friend loved our skydive here today. The instructors were so kind and made us feel SO safe and comfortable. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else if I went again. The photos and videos (pay extra for) were amazing quality (even though I looked incredibly silly) and were sent really quickly. All staff were so lovely. Plus a cafe on site so that's a bonus.
Fantastic experience highly recommended 👌 Complete professionalism & crazy fun guaranteed! Special shout out to Darrell my tandem jump partner, & skydiving instructor buddy! your skills are just awesome, and you made me feel so at ease! And lastly, charlotte-videographer & complete sky diver pro, your filming was insane, and totally seamless! you make it look so easy! you made me laugh so much on the freefall, when you was 🎥 ing! I highly recommend your skills! Bring on my Level 1 AFF see you both soon! All the team are great & I'm ready to jump again! 👌😛
Could not recommend this place enough, did a tandem skydive with Tj today and it was amazing. Couldn’t ask for more the whole place is set up well for friends and family to watch and all staff are friendly. Special thanks to Tj who made me feel at ease and gave me the best experience possible. Went for the photograph/video package aswell which I would also highly recommend unfortunately can’t remember the man’s name but he was also very good. Will definitely be back at some point to do another one.
It was such an impressive, unforgettable, amazing experence I've ever had! It was my first time do skydiving and my instructor Chris was so good! Instructions are very clear, the whole progress was so save! Also my cameraman Charlotte did very good shootings! All staffs here are very nice and welcoming! This experience was super cool!
Brilliant! All staff are very friendly and just make the whole experience for you! All experienced sky divers from what they say and all the sky divers I spoke to have been doing it for years. They are very keen and confident. I would do it again - here. At Hinton. Thank you guys 🙃 🪂
The tandem skydive was a fantastic experience. Great instructor and so exhilarating. My only negative is that there is a lot of hanging around. I arrived by 12.30, my booking time, but it was two hours before our plane went up. I feel it could be a bit better scheduled. I would definitely recommend it though.
I had an amazing birthday experience here at Hinton skydiving. Keith was our group instructor who made everything very clear before the jump and then he was my tandem partner. He made me feel so comfortable and safe throughout the whole experience and he’s just an all round legend. Unforgettable experience from start to finish. Facilities are good too! Highly recommend.

We had an overnight stay to visit Silverstone. We thought the room and Food exceeded our expectations. It was great value and very clean and tidy. Extremely pleased and had a very good comfortable night's sleep. We had an evening meal which was very nice and a good choice to choose from. The next day we had opted for a cooked breakfast which included the Continental breakfast again which was great. A good choice of cereals juices and tea/coffee plus croissants toast etc. All in all we would recommend Paisley Pear and Marston Inns as a great place to stay when visiting the area of Brackley etc.
Arrived at 11:50 , the barman informed me of anything I can't have , great start. Had 2 adult Sunday dinners , 2 kids. It's obviously packet food , edible but poor. The kids Sunday dinner is £6.95 The adult is £12.95. The difference is one slide of meat. Confirmed by the waitress, she was polite bless her. Very disappointing, didn't stop for dessert. First picture adults , second kids
The food was ok. However there was no dressing on salad and The silver where was dirty. It wasn't very crowded. They were playing good music. And the service was ok. The restaurant however smelled bad and there was no soap to wash your hands.
Popped down for a quick lunchtime fish and chips the other day. The food was lovely, fish was tasty and chips well cooked, overall a nice meal. One small criticism. When ordering I simply asked for no peas or mushy peas as I am not a fan but was told this wasn’t possible? The reasoning being was that it was busy (the restaurant was very quiet) and they only do ‘set’ meals. If I was asking for a whole item to be changed to something else then I’d understand, but surely it saves time to not put peas on a plate and not waste the food? Im sure if I said I was allergic to them then they’d be removed, so this makes 0 sense to me, how hard is the task of not putting peas on the plate or simply not cooking them in the first place? I have never experienced this anywhere else before, baffling. So, if you struggle with eating disorders or are a fussy eater then I’d avoid this place because they will not accept your request for any slight modification to the food. Besides that, the food was nice, above is the only complaint.
We’ve made The Chequered Flag our regular Friday night stop for a reason. There’s always a welcoming buzz to the place, whether you’re there for food, drinks, or just to catch the game. The beer selection is excellent, including a few great local brews on tap. Their food is classic pub fare done really well—generous portions, reasonably priced, and full of flavor. The team behind the bar always remember your name and your drink, which says a lot. It feels like a real community hub.
Great space for my little one to toddle while we had our meal. Outdoor play area too. Food was nice and served promptly.
Cheap pub pretending to be a Marstons pub. Only one member of staff doing bar and food, seemed friendly enough but didn’t seem very experienced and a bit lost at pouring drinks. Can see now why it’s empty! Will never return and will tell people to avoid.
A pleasant experience, very tasty food and a friendly service. Reasonably priced as well. Will return 😋

Great fun if you’re competitive and don’t mind getting sweaty. Highly recommend for a fun outdoor thing to do.
Nice isolated location but expectations of the site was a bit basic compared to other Paintball stations but was still a good session. Ample free parking spaces available and allows for your own food, snacks and drinks (refreshment)! Thanks to the team.
I would recommend everyone to come and experience this
Absolute cracking fun, came all the way from Liverpool for a stag do to remember! Thanks to all the staff for an amazing day! Highly recommend!
amazing different rounds, riot shield round is by far the best when you work as a team, would 100% recommend to any group of people
This epic paintballing venue has amazing facilities and the staff are very helpful throughout the whole session.

What an amazing experience, and to finish off with qualifying for my BARS was even better. Very professional instructors with a great teaching ethic and a strong focus on fun. Paul Gwynne is a credit to motorsport, very supportive - you're treated with respect and as an individual. This place doesn't get enough credit. For a rally experience or BARS test look no further than Bill Gwynne Rallyschool.
Had a fantastic day with Paul and Rob at the Rallyschool. My brother had a great time in the full package, but loved taking the Mk2 escort sideways over everything. I had some excellent tuition from Rob, and took a lot away that I need to practice. I know I will have improved as a result of Robs lessons . Great lunch, good chat and a friendly welcoming atmosphere, absolutely exceeded my expectations.
A truly fantastic one day experience in a classic MKII Ford Escort. Thanks to Rob - who was a very patient, helpful and generous instructor - I learnt so much about my driving, how to get the best from the car, plus the need to push back against those niggling doubts and of course completely disregard most things that you were taught to do. In the end I was very proud of my achievements and had so much fun as well. Cannot recommend highly enough. Did not want the day to end.
Really good day in the Company of Paul and my instructor, Rob. I would definitely recommend this day to make you smile, sweat, mildly panic and bring out a need to instantly leave and buy a mk2 Escort...I loved it!! They want you to drive beyond what you know and get out of your comfort zone. Ultimately they want you having fun. Point to consider: You all share the same instructor so lots of waiting between driving. Not an issue as you can watch everyone else. Lots of tea, coffee, chocolate available to keep you going and a sarnie fir lunch, all good. My advice is only take someone if you need to due to the waiting around so if you take someone there is only a portaloo and a gazebo, not a criticism just a heads up. Would I do it again...YES, in a heartbeat. They are a great team, really friendly and thrive on you going beyond your limits. If you are thinking about it, don't! Just get it booked!!!
Such a cold day, Paul made the 3 day experience one to remember for life. Great people, great food and the best fun you can have outside of a bed. thanks for a wonderful time all. See you before Goodwood
What a great day! It was really good fun especially as the instructor allowed me to have full control and make mistakes (within reason) which helped me get a feel of the car and track. The track was a good layout to get up a good speed. The instructor really helped make my day unforgettable, he was really patient, gave me really useful feedback and let me have fun (and he was an entertaining chap with lots of rally history and experience). The day was finished off with a really nice lunch. A great day out for anyone who loves motor sport :)
Last Saturday, September On what must have been one of the hottest days of the year, I was so impressed with the keen-ness and professionalism of all the staff. Rob the instructor was wonderful. The experience was a birthday present for my eldest daughter and she absolutely loved it! 5 stars, definitely!
Whilst I enjoyed the chance to drive the Mk2 and Impreza, I was a bit underwhelmed with my full-day rally experience at the school. There wasn’t really much tuition to go on, and the instructor seemed to assume that you’d know what you were meant to be doing. Otherwise, you were just told instructions and barked at when you got something wrong. Students were changed over so rapidly that you never really found your flow - a couple of laps and then it was onto the next. Could do with more tuition, feedback and more time in the car. Could be just a little better.

Went to an open day and glad we did- great to see a 'real' country house (from the outside) and the beautiful gardens they've worked hard to create.
Lovely gardens, only open several times a year unless you can book as a group. Can see much of it from the footpath that runs down the side of the gardens tbh though.
Relaxing gardens - great to explore with family or on your own. You'll need to attend an open day or go with a group of 10 or more.
Its actually a really nice place to visit. Especially if you like well presented gardens and flowers.
A hidden gem, quintessentially English. Perfect for a leisurely afternoon and finish with afternoon tea on the lawn under the magnificent copper beech.
Garden nice walk around woodland area spolt by not very good refreshments didnt make us fell we wanted to go back like garden we went to last week did

Such a good laugh and a great workout too! Booked for a stag party all the lads loved it. Loads of different games to play not just football. Really great day helped by Keir's approach to the whole process from booking to the day itself!
This is definitely an activity I would recommend doing with friends or workmates for teambuilding, it is very funny and different from everything I've tried before. The staff is also very kind.

Fantastic place to go and relax, whether that be fishing, dog walking, jogging or taking the kids for a picnic. This lovely park and lake has a variety of things to offer, from outdoor gym equipment placed around the lake to feeding the birds. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to get away from life for a bit of relaxation.
Well-maintained public park with mature trees, grassy areas, picnic benches, exercise trail and fishing stages surrounding a small but attractive lake, designed and used for fishing and drainage since the Norman conquest.
A lovely place to walk dogs or take the family . Great views, though can get a bit boggy when wet
Beautiful lake set in a lovely park. Excellent footpath round with great exercise machines set around. Worth a visit.
Love, love St. James Lake and pocket park walk. Great for dogs, kids, joggers, pram and wheelchair accessible. It's a gem.
I take pleasure in observing the wildlife and nature surrounding St James Lake with my toddler. The area is ideal for individuals who enjoy going for a run or jog. Convenient parking is available along the nearby roads.
Love walking round here with my dog. Lot of work has been done re: cleaning the pond, drainage and footpaths leading up to the lake though there is till a long way to go. Dirt foot paths leading to the lake are very muddy at the minute. Definitely advise wellies.
Nice park in Brackley. The lake has ducks, geese and swans, is used by a local fishing club and so it is sell maintained. There are several picnic areas and plenty of open space for the children to play safely. All in all a well maintained and pleasant park.

A big thank you to our great town council for making Brackley so fantastically attractive with the Christmas lights! We wondered how it would look with the trees having undergone their pollarding treatment. A tricky job but you have come up trumps! We are lucky to have such a supportive and dedicated council for our town.
