I love this cinema so much! Free street parking available evenings and all day Sundays - car parks available just off the main road at other times. Reasonable prices for tickets. £4 pp weekends & £3.50 pp during the week. We’ve never needed to book online (although that option is available) we always turn up on the day & manage to get tickets. Located on the main Blackwood high street, close to various shops / cafes and pubs.
First time visiting and was really impressed for the price. Decent leather chairs, good options of snacks and drinks, including sweet pick n mix. Bring a coat as felt the AC was blasting half way into the film (maybe where I was sat). Also nostalgic as the cinema was reminiscent of cinemas years ago.
I love this sweet little gem of a cinema and try to come here as often as we can. Comfy, great screens and seating topped off by fabulous staff and pricing. It's a pleasure to visit! Highly enjoyable and feels like my custom matters here! Love love love this place☺️
This is a lovely independent cinema. There are lots of different screens, the prices are reasonable too. The seats are very comfortable, with plenty of leg room. I have seen several films here, and the volume is always sensible too. I would highly suggest supporting this local business
I love this cinema but the only thing that lets it down is the people. And no this is not the employees they're fabulous and always have been, it's the people sat with you in the cinema. I know this is not the cinemas issue/problem but, I think some thought needs to be put into controlling how some people behave whilst the movie is on. I have had so many bad experiences such as a man answering his mobile phone during the movie, a woman standing in front of me at the end of the movie when I was trying to read information (conjuring ending), girls non stop talking behind me for an entire 2hours and scrolling on their phone.. maybe extra security is needed during the movies to control people to behave properly and have some respect for others. Other than that, the cinema is great, clean and good food, amazing films shown and lovely employees.
Affordable, friendly and accessible. Started taking my daughter here a few years ago when she was very young and loved it so much, this is now our go to cinema. Snacks and drinks don't break the bank. Support local!
Film Fantastic, Cinema could be cleaner ,rubbish on floor and tipped drinks , disappointed this visit. toilets had no hand wash ! 3 staff helpful friendly and good customer service. 2 members grumpy and unkempt appearance, hotdogs were cold and bread felt stale! Popcorn basic, not the cheapest for poor quality cinema snacks! Costa drinks always 5*
A sweet, old-fashioned cinema on Blackwood high street, the tickets are a lot cheaper than other cinemas nearby (which is the pull), but you have to keep in mind that it’s going to be fairly basic in return. The seats are comfortable, the audio/visual is good and it very much gets the job done! Don’t expect massive luxury, it can smell a little damp in there, but for what you pay it’s fine! There’s no parking, but there are pay & display car parks dotted around Blackwood so you can use them. You only have to pay until 6pm so keep that in mind when you get your ticket.

A lovely place for a walk, great place for sunsets as you have decent elevation. Pond is roughly a 0.8 mile walk around and great for kids to scoot around - but beware dog muck as sadly some owners are not cleaning up after their dogs. Cafe open in summer months, outside of that, take your own snacks and drinks.
Really lovely little space to walk the dogs and have a cuppa or an ice cream.
It's simple to get to and has decent parking. The path is decent around the lake, it is only a short walk. I did note a path off the side but not sure if it is a designated path 'somewhere' or just an access point. Public toilets on site open from 10am to 1600 during summer hours.
Lovely quiet place to walk, relax. The kids and the dog loves it up there.
Love this place..always stunning. Could do with some updating but the car park is free at the moment. So I would still pay to park here. I do some watercolour drawings in the Summer as it changes everyday.
A nice gentle flat walk with a tarmac path. Suitable for wheelchairs and prams, however does get congested on pathways. Large parking areas and a seasonal cafe/toilets. Usually see a Cormorant bird there.
Easy stroll and a great place to do C25k if you’re starting out with it being nice and flat. Pretty wildlife too and free parking at the moment.
A wonderful, walk surrounded with beautiful views and wildlife. Accessible for all with good toilet amenities and free parking.

This bridge was an unexpected delight, which took me completely by surprise when I drove over it. I was so taken by the aesthetics and the beautiful valley setting that I returned the following evening to take some photos. The structure looked amazing in the evening sun!

Loved it! We did the crime room and I'd say it was on the easier side. But very enjoyable. Definitely going back to do more.
It was amaaaaazing. We played wizard study room. There were a lot of puzzles and very nicely prepared. We had a lot of Fun. Definitely we will come back for more. 😍
2nd time going, two rooms booked this time. Jordan was again amazing, professional, friendly and helpful. Sons 13th birthday gang (&dad) loved the Crime Scene and we loved the Egyptian room. Brilliantly decorated, really good, well thought out puzzles. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Price is super too!
Found this quite amateurish compared to others. Some locks were very stiff. Game master wasn’t that helpful in giving clues at key points. Room felt very basic and it polished enough. Would not recommend.
We had a great time at Blackwood Escape Limited! We went for their exorcist style escape room and had a blast! They have plenty of themed rooms to choose from all ranging in difficulty with new rooms to come soon! Blackwood Escape Limited is easy to find with loads of parting on its doorstep. The staff are lovely and helpful, willing to listen to any questions you may have and to give hints throughout your experience. Overall had a brilliant time and would go again to try out their other rooms!
We did the "crime scene" escape room today and it was fab! All ages got involved from 45 to 13 years old. The detail in the rooms were amazing! I would recommend this place to everyone all ages
Wizard escape room was fantastic. Order the party buffet for after. Excellent service thanks again
Took my son and 6 friends over for the Wizard Room, great puzzles and great value for money. We will be returning.

What an amazing performance, everyone very welcoming, lighting, sound, snacks, pyrotechnics all excellent. We had a great evening
Excellent Rapunzel panto. First time in this theatre, glad we sat on the end of a row as I would have found it too claustrophobic sat in the middle. Lovely evening!
A small well equipped welcoming theatre always looking for people with passion to help with productions on and off stage. Please look at the what's on on the Web site
Blood brothers was amazing, first visit, not my last!
Todays performance was Aladdin and it was excellent. With Dewi Moore playing Aladdin such a polished performance from such a young man.
Brilliant - no, it doesn’t have fancy decor, shiny fittings and soulless staff - instead it has an earthy, honest and committed community spirit about it. Just saw a wonderful production of Dennis Potter’s Blue Remembered Hills here and thought it was a brave choice, brilliantly done. Loved the fact I could get a cup of tea in a mug in the interval!
I'm giving 5 stars because every show I've seen here has been amazing with a great cast. However when I visit I have to book the end seats because the rows are so close together I could never get out to use the toilet during a performance if I needed to. The building is old and that adds to the ambience of the place. It is a little treasure I look forward to every production.
Aladdin pantomime A.brillant night of local talent. It’s nice to see children and adults enjoying themselves on stage. Their enjoyment is infectious. Small and friendly theatre that welcomes everyone Well done all Jayne Bird

By far the best small club in the valleys Amazing service all the servers are amazing I highly recommend this place for a night out in Blackwood
Bouncers failed to alert us to the fact, there was not one soul in the club. Me knowing how to play a pioneer 2000 deck setup. I ventured behind the decks, only to have a little mix. Once the hierarchy outside realised what was going on they then proceeded to kick us out after charging £20 entry (£5 each) plus a £30 round after just having entered 10 minutes ago. No class whatsoever, 0/10 Used to be a proper gaff to party in. Sadly not anymore.
Banging night with awesome people, The staff are quality and security are spot on 👌 If ya looking for a good night out get down The flourmill cos the weekends that are coming up are guaranteed to blow ya mind!! Line ups are absolute quality! Higgzy, Topkat, Headsplitterz, JOYRIDER, Aftershock, the list goes on n on.............. Blackwood used to be an awesome night out, The Flourmill is bringing it back with a BANG!!!!!!
Went here to see my mate who was playing a set. Unfortunately he could not turn up so was in the club by myself. It didn't matter though and I got talking to some people and ended up dancing most of the night. The sound system is absolutely banging and I could hear it from where I parked the car. Highly recommend this place, so much that I plan on going there again soon. If banging tunes are your thing, then this is the place to be and you support local DJs and a local business.
I went in to see what it was like the staff at first was very friendly. But as I approached the bar there was a young lady propped up on it holding on it seemed I ordered my drinks and turned to the the young girl and asked was she okay and she stumbled and stood on my ankle and then fell to the floor the bouncers came and ushered her outside. I complained to the bar staff and then was greeted by the bouncers who tried to usher me outside but as I wasn't drunk they left me alone. I definitely won't be going back
Avoid # the staff can not not put on heating so freeze! You would think in a pandemic you would do the up most to make the customers that come out to support local businesses feel comfortable not wish the flu upon them ! Once again flourmill fails ! Get a good owner !
Waiting 4 hours, for "Pete the Pirate" to rock up close to 11pm, and then queuing for a crammed and uncomfortable 45 minutes for Pete to leave without saying a word was a waste of money. So many people complained to the so called manager, who refused to give his name for a compalint, as well as refusing to give our money back. Later I found out his name was Nicky Grimstead. I advise anyone to avoid spending money for a "guest appearance" because blink and you'd miss it! £10 to get into the Flour Mill in Blackwood! Absolute joke along with the manager and rude staff who don't know customer service if it slapped them in the face! Also the wet floors and poor floor fixings while queuing in the mass of disappointed fans. Never go there again, and will never speak well of the place to anyone.
Don't expect to be served by someone that's sober cose that ain't happening people are smoking in the toilets and vapeing in the bar its not the cleanest of places

Cwtchers didn't fail to deliver. Having booked the room for a family gathering, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. From organising the buffet and hiring the entertainment, they offer the full package deal. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The venue is smart, elegant and cosy. The delicious buffet offered a wide range of food to suit guests requirements and was plentiful. The outside seating area, situated directly off the function room, was also beautifully decorated and being a warm spring evening, was a welcoming space to chill out. Everyone who attended, were full of praise for Cwtchers and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Well done to all involved, a fantastic evening at a fantastic venue. 5* all round.
Come here often to play darts, very cosy and great atmosphere. Drinks are very well priced and a good range too. Love the cwtchers
We attended a wedding party here. Food was amazing. Only a small place inside but done out to a very high standard, extra space outside made it more comfortable as it was a hot day
First visit to play darts nice friendly atmosphere and plenty choice for drinks. Outside could be helped with a light towards pavement
A family run business, the establishment will go out of their way to make the customer experience exceptional. Customers are excellent and interact with other customersin a positive way. An excellent outstanding function room available to book. 100% recommended.
Treowen Stars under 9s had their presentation evening at Cwtchers last night and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The function room, the buffet for adults and food for the boys were all great. Suzanne and her daughter were fab and so helpful. Thank you all very much for a great eveining. Would definitely recommend.
We had our wedding evening party here and it was amazing. The room was decorated beautifully and the buffet was gorgeous, would highly recommend to anyone having a party.
Visited as part of a wake, service was brilliant, it was clean and the food was lovely and there was a variety of food to cater for all tastes and plenty to go around. Would definitely recommend .
