Small grotto with a beautiful blue/green light filtering through. Amazing natural stalactite and stalagmite formations. Had a fun Italian guide who rowed the boat and took us to all the corners of the cave. We won’t forget you, Ernesto!
This area had needed to come from Amalfi pear. Not enter from here directly. Please confirm boat ticket shop at Amalfi pear. For me, not so bad not so good to come here. Because of just one cave and like a pool area, not so deep and large cave, just hotel pool size. Boat round trip : 15euro/person Cave trip : 10euro/person If you have a time , just check at boat ticket center and join this.
Arrived by bus. Follow the indications. You have to go down stairs and then take an elevator to the lower level. 10€/ person for entry ticket The tickets are bought directly before the cave opening. Would recommend going in the afternoon for the reflection of the light on the walls.
This was such a fun experience!! My mom and I didn’t get to visit the blue grotto in Capri, and this was recommended to us by a tour guide. We were worried it would be super touristy, however it was really incredible! For only 5€ (maybe 10€) a person, we had a fabulous guide and a lot of fun!! If you have extra time, or if you don’t get to visit the blue grotto, come see Grotta Smeraldo!!
The cave is wonderful with the sunlight filtering through the water. The cavern is about 20m high and covered with limestone formations. The guide was pretty funny. The little boat ride in the cave lasts about 10 minutes. Parking is near impossible. We used the parking about 1k up the road towards Almalfi. 5 euro an hour. Probably easier to catch the bus.
Such a beautiful beach. Get there early to get a spot otherwise it fills up fast. We were one of three couples there at 8am. Very romantic.
Forget blue grotto, go here instead! 10€, no wait time, free parking and half an hour on a rowboat in the cave. The guide Ernesto said to not forget him, so I don't. He was joking around and showing the best details, and speaks the most important words in most languages with good english. Go here, get on a boat with him, and see the blue shimmer through the water!
A very beautiful and interesting place. The guide Ernesto was also memorable. With good humor

Had a mixed Italian meat platter served with fries and veggies. The entree portions of meat was surprisingly really a lot for one person. Nice crispy fries. Food was excellent and friendly service as well. Definitely recommend.
This has been by far the worst meal we've had in Italy. Our target restaurant was too busy so we stopped in here. The staff was too busy clearing tables to wait on us and other patrons. When we did get waited on we got the wrong wine and had to flag the server down as they drop food off and run away to serve other victims. My spaghetti was mediocre and was the best part of the meal. My partners Caesar salad was served with some weird sweet dressing and was made with sliced iceberg lettuce. Yes, the picture what is claimed is a Caesar. The open air experience is ruined by the traffic cacophony. Please avoid this place. I don't know how it has any good reviews.
I'm not usually want to leave bad reviews but I was so disgusted with the standard food that I couldn't not leave a review. Myself and my wife both ordered fillet steak but it was the worst fillet I've ever seen or tasted. The meat smelt and it was fatty. The pepper sauce and porcini sauce were no better and were horrible. My daughter's chicken nuggets were the cheapest nuggets you could find and were pretty grim. The only high point was possibly the chips and the pint of peroni, but it's quite difficult to go wrong with a pint of beer. The bottled water. The bottle for the tap water looked dirty and there was mould on the cap. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. So many other better restaurants in Sorrento. Possibly the worst meal I've ever had in my life. I'm racking my brains to when I've had as bad food.
Hmm. Reasonable bar, a few nice German beers. The meat in the window looks like it might be good - didn't have it though. Not a particularly welcoming place, but it was raining and out of season, so I guess the staff just didn't want to be there. Just downgraded it because I got the bill for 1 and and half beers.. and well, €12 for 2 massively underpoured drinks? Not going again, don't recommend this at all
We only used this bar for drinks, however the food looked superb. We visited this bar frequently on our stay in Sorrento. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The owner, like most in Sorrento is a big Napoli fan and shows most sports throughout the day, playing music in the evening. There is a nice selection of beers, cocktails and spirits to cater for all. If you're looking for somewhere just outside of the centre, then this is the place to visit!
We really enjoyed this pub for a very early dinner. The steak was excellent. The chips (fries) were oval shaped and a mix of crispy and soft. The burger was great... dental selections. The chicken sandwich was really good, as well. We over ordered, honestly. We couldn't finish everything bc the portions were generous. The prices were low, too. We recommended this place to friends as we walked across the street and they excitedly went in.
The best meal we've had our entire trip so far and we are one week in! 💪 Excellent quality and service. Everything tasted incredible and I have to add that the price was surprisingly low in comparison to what one would pay for a meal of this quality in Toronto. Literally 1/4 the price in comparison and twice the quality in ingredients and taste. Sat outside and the seating, view and layout was great. Clean inside and out including the washroom. If you're in the area this is a must have meal and excellent experience. 🍴💯👌 Highly recommended! Thank you! 🙏
So delicious sliced beef I really recommend it

Great beach club, not too crowded. Reasonable prices - €12 per chair and €6 for an umbrella. It’s not crowded so that was pleasant. The water is very clear and there’s a diving platform you jump off of. There’s no beach though it’s more of a ledge into the ocean so don’t expect sand. Also, the water is deep so be prepared to not touch the ground. The water does get a bit choppy because of the boats but that’s everywhere. Also, the food there is affordable as well - they have sandwiches and salads under €10. They just don’t have much options (but we weren’t looking for a dining experience so we didn’t care about that. Parking is €5 an hour or €30 a day. But be aware they charge you for a full hour so we got there at 12:30 and left at 3:30 but they charge you as if you got there at 12 and left at 4. Service was very good throughout from the parking attendants to the servers, everyone was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The one thing that could be improved though is the bathroom situation.
This place is nicely conceived. You leave the car on the main street (there is just enough room to leave your car there and the concierge parks it somewhere for you). There is a little jeep that transports you to the beach. There you have a main area (with the bar and snack, the toilets and showers) and many platforms around. We booked at the quiet one and we really enjoyed. Everything was calm and nice, the watwr great. On the negatice side, food was not great and service was only at the bar (so you have to go quite some distance). Finally charging a euro for a cold shower is just reducing quality of service. Its not so much about the one euro, I do mind having to queue for a one euro chip to have a shower.
Perfect place for spending a hot summer day, friendly staff, reasonable prices and an astonishing private beach. Overall it can get expensive, but considering that we were 4 people and with a car parking, 84 eur for a day pass with beds and umbrelas it isn't that bad. Once inside you can eat and drink your own stuff and prices are reasonable. I would suggest going early as they close at 17:30, and don't miss going up to the tower, the views from up there are amazing!
Unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. We booked sunbeds and a shuttle (over €100 in total), expecting to spend the day at a beach where we could relax. In reality, it wasn’t a real beach but a platform on the rocks, with access only by jumping into the sea. For anyone who cannot swim or is afraid of jumping, this place is absolutely unsuitable – and no one informed us about this crucial detail. The sea was rough, there were rocks, and the whole setting did not feel safe. After just half an hour we wanted to leave: we received no refund at all, and on top of that, the driver – who had initially been introduced to us as “free for the way back” – then demanded extra money and basically forced us to pay. In the end, it cost us around €140, without the slightest transparency or fairness. We didn’t even order any food, but keep in mind that if you want to eat there, you’ll have to spend even more – at least around €60 per person. So, the costs can easily add up very quickly. For anyone who is not a confident swimmer, who struggles with many stairs, or who simply wants a relaxing day, I strongly do not recommend this place. Think twice before booking: once you have paid, you won’t get any refund, even if the service is not what you expected.
great experience at the beach club! loved the valet parking for our car and the jeep ride to the bottom of the hill! prices at the bar / restaurant were super reasonable. views were stunning and we loved the diving board and areas to jump in the water. definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area!
We went to Capo di Conca and it was a very bad experience. We paid €400 for the tickets. At the meeting point we had to take a jeep, because there was no normal way down. When we got to the bottom, we saw there was no real place to swim or relax. It was only rocks, and going into the water looked very dangerous. We stayed less than five minutes and wanted to leave. But they told us we had to wait until 5 p.m. to go back. A taxi was about €300, and the bus was only later in the afternoon. Then they said they would bring us back to our hotel for free, because we had already paid so much. But when we arrived, they asked for another €100 and didn’t let us out until we paid. In total we spent almost €500 for nothing. The place looks nothing like the photos. it is a scam. I do not recommend it.
We arrived at the private beach at a cost of 17 euros per person, including a chair and umbrella. The service includes transportation from the apartment to the nearby town and back. You can get a bottle of water and a towel at an additional nominal cost. Instead of a restaurant, we just had a fruit plate and a smoothie and it was great. The prices are reasonable. The service is kind. The place is simply lovely and worth the cost!! There is also a small pool. In my opinion less suitable for small children.
Best way to get some solitude and amazing area to swim. This place is awesome for spending the day on the Amalfi coast. You absolutely will NOT regret spending your day here. It’s sooo nice and comfy and relaxing and cool and way better than any other Instagram beach, this is a hidden gem.

From the outside, this hotel whispers simplicity—but step through its doors and into the gardens beyond, and you're swept into a world that feels like Heaven itself. It's a place that doesn't just take your breath away—it fills your soul. Giuseppie welcomed me at the entrance with a warmth and grace that felt like an old friend returning home. He offered a gentle tour on the way to the spa, his kindness and professionalism shining through every word before he left me to wander freely, lost in the quiet magic of the gardens. There’s history here—deep, sacred history that reaches back to the 1600s, when this serene sanctuary was once a monastery. You feel it in every stone, every echo of the past that lingers in the air. At the spa, Natalie greeted me with such radiant warmth it lingered long after. And the massage—though I wish I could recall her name—was unforgettable, the best I’ve experienced since my time in Naples, Florida at a five-star retreat. Dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant was nothing short of a dream. Each course was a delicate masterpiece, and the atmosphere shimmered with beauty and quiet elegance. The staff, like everyone here, carried a graciousness that felt rare and deeply genuine. I visited only three times—for the spa, dinner, and a quiet stroll—and yet, I can’t stop thinking about it. This place doesn’t just pamper the body—it renews the spirit. A stay here is a love letter to the soul.
A 5-star review doesn’t even do this experience justice. Monastero advertises relaxation and luxury and it delivers. Every single detail (from the supplied pool bag in the closet to the “confession” style room service order) feels curated to the experience. They offer a complimentary shuttle into Amalfi (about a 10 minute drive), the service is top notch, the rooms were exceptionally clean… I could go on. You CANNOT visit Amalfi and not stay here. Thank you for such a wonderful honeymoon experience- we can’t wait to hopefully be back ❤️
Had a lovely birthday dinner out on the terrace. The staff were very attentive without it feeling stuffy. They made a special cake for me to celebrate. Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about the Monastero. From the impressive location, the beautiful property, the amazing gardens, to the infinity pool, the impeccable service, the kindness and warmth of the smiley personnel accompanied by a myriad of personalized touches: everything contributes to making the stay at this hotel perfection!
I write this as I am still a guest at this most magical property. It has to be the best hotel in the world - how grateful I am that I was able to experience her. The rooms, the hotel grounds, the food, the spa, the staff, the amenities - this is a 7⭐️ experience. It is situated between Positano & Amalfi- you get the best of everything- secluded luxury and shuttle service upon request to and from Amalfi where you can stay or catch a ferry to Positano or wherever. We couldn’t bear to leave so we canceled our hotel in Naples and the MSR accommodated us by adding an extra night with such ease when I know it had to have caused disruption for them. They scheduled all of our private transfers and our amazing Capri boat day - I would have to list every staff member because they were all the best of the best. You must stay here if your plans include the Amalfi Coast. I didn’t even discuss the Michelin star restaurant or the spa (so you can unwrap their grandeur when you stay) This hotel and all of her magnificence has left an indelible mark that we will talk about for the rest of our lives-much love & many thanks for what you have created MSR staff🩷
blown away by the breathtaking views, the spa, and service and attention to detail from the staff. Got engaged here and stayed for 6 nights and the staff made the experience once in a lifetime. Very grateful!!
The best hotel experience we have ever had - everything and everyone was in sync! We absolutely loved it!!! 🥰 The staff are sooooo genuine and helpful. Emphasis on the genuine as often that is rare even in the fanciest hotels. We will definitely be back!
This is not just a hotel and spa, this is an amazing experience unlike anything else, anywhere in the world. The entire property, the team and the experience is world class. I have stayed twice and I cannot fault a thing. Come and enjoy something that will stay with you forever.

Everything you needed was available in the house, there was even a washing machine. To get to the village and go shopping you had to climb up about 500 steep steps. The public beach was 5 minutes away. Amalfi is 3 km away and easy to reach by bus. We also often enjoyed a coffee and the direct view of Amalfi on the terrace of the Hotel Belvedere. The friendliness of the staff is worth mentioning. (Original) Wir hatten ein kleines Haus in diesem schönen Garten gebucht und waren vom Ausblick begeistert. The parish priest, during my wedding, stopped every now and then and said: "...look at the wonder, look at the beauty...". In front of him he had the door wide open, the sea blending in with the blue sky and the stacks of Capri! (Translated by Google) The church of S. Pancrazio, with three naves and an apse, shows the classic basilica layout, with a small narthex and transept created by the greater light of the last span. The naves are divided by pillars and covered by cross vaults. Three chapels on each side enliven the elevations. The façade and the bell tower are remakes of those dating back to the original structure, which certainly dates back to 1300, given that an archival source reports the patronage of the church by the Mele family to the year 1362. In a splendid position, the building is surrounded by a large courtyard, on which two lateral rows of palm trees are arranged in front of the three entrance doors, above which there are mosaics from the Ravenna school (made in 1957) depicting San Pancrazio on the right, Sant'Antonio di Padova on the left and the Madonna del Carmine in the centre.

No words, just look at the pictures. Worth every penny 😀 (25 euros per person). It was very lovely experience, good info provided, complimentary piece of lemon cake with lemonade and limoncello (all home made from their own lemons) just made our day! Suitable for small children, there wasn’t much hike. But be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
What a beautiful and touching trip to this family business.. from grandfather who established it to the grandson who speaks with such passion about how the lemons are selected, planted, nurtured and harvested. A delicious 3 course lunch with wine and a lovely shop to buy lots of goodies. I loved it. Especially a mini museum of tools and equipment used when it all first started. A well worth visit! So lovely to see a whole family truly working together and providing the best lemons and produce.
As a business owner, I truly appreciated them offering a service like this. It was a wonderful tour. But our favorite part was the cooking class. We made a lemon dessert pastry first. Then onto assembling an eggplant parm. The lastly we made our own pasta. Once that was done then lunch was prepared. So much food. They even gave us a fried dough mini pizza. Bottle of wine and some lemon cello to accompany this meal. Greatest thing is I don’t even like lemons, but had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Highly recommend these guys.
Had the most amazing time at the Amalfi lemon experience with lunch. Do not hesitate to book. This multi generation family lemon garden is incredibly diverse, friendly and welcoming. We saw the great history as well as the ongoing challenges of climate change as well as the traditional and respectful farming methods. Our host Salvatore was like a friend and welcomed us for our sons first birthday and the whole family sang happy birthday over our exquisite homecooked meal. Best limoncello we have tasted, anything less than 32% is lemonade!
The Amalfi Lemon Experience offers a guided tour through the largest lemon plantation in Amalfi. You’ll get up close with the lemon trees and learn how they’re vined together along the terraced hillside. The tour walks you through the process of making limoncello, and you’ll get to enjoy some fresh lemonade and a delicious slice of lemon cake 🍋. There’s also a small museum that shares the history of the plantation and the region’s deep connection to lemon cultivation. A great mix of local tradition, history, and flavor!
Cute little shop. Family business. Lots of experimental liqueur infusions and can try most of them. The tour was small (just my wife and I) so very personal. They were friendly and got lots of gifts for family and friends. Not a big time commitment so don't need to commit a lot of time to it.
Exceptional experience. This is an absolute must fire anyone visiting Amalfi. The staff were amazing. Our guide Jean Marc was very engaging and enthusiastic and the while experience was first class. We tasted the lemons and watched then make Limoncello and had a beautiful walk in the orchards.
Gorgeous scenery and delicious lemons. We went as a group of 6 and enjoyed learning about the history of the lemon farm and what makes Amalfis lemons unique. First, beautiful sceneries for a picturesque afternoon. The tour started off with a taste of the lemon which we were encouraged to whole, including the rind! The tour ends with a slice of yummy lemon cake, lemonade, and limoncello. An absolute must do if you’re ever in Amalfi. Word to the wise there is a fair amount of steep up-and-down hill walking to get to this experience and during the experience. Also cars cannot go up the main road to this location.

(Translated by Google) The medieval church of San Giovanni Battista (still called Sant'Antonio di Padova, protector of Conca), whose exact date and origins of its foundation are unknown, is located on a high cliff in the Penne district, dominating the mirror of water from Conca dei Marini. This position managed to protect it from the Saracen invasions which instead raged on the church of San Pancrazio martyr. The church, following a clear renovation in the 12th century, has a structure with three naves divided by two rows of large columns, on which rest round arches decorated with stuccos ending in covered apses.
