Beautiful Church. If you put a Euro in the slot the lights will turn on so you can see the ornate gold work.
A spectacular cathedral, well worth a visit.
Stunning church located on the Camino de Santiago in the small historic town of Naverette. According to the notes outside it was started in the 16th century, finished the following one and is a three nave church with a rib vaulted ceiling. The alter piece is regarded as a baroque masterpiece and also worth viewing are its columns and niche chapels.
Beautiful building and enterieur. Get inside and have your own silent moments or hours. The oltar is baroque and beatiful with full of aurum, fascinating. There is a little museum in the church as well. You can pin your country, city and name to get prays from the priests of the church, very good!
I was not expecting the enormous size and details on the altar background. Awe inspiring. There are many other significant paintings and carvings in the naves that will take you along times to admire and understand.
Perhaps the most beautiful church interior we have visited in Spain. A definite must stop and experience for peregrinos.
Heard Christmas mass here. Massive structure and gilded altar
A nice church for a stop on the Saint James Way. You can get a stamp and leave a mark on a map showing where you came from.

We booked online and we were hosted by a nice lady for our tour. We could admire the underground huge barrel hall, the tasting room, the ingenious winebars inside cement tank and inside land rover. The wines were great and the accompanying products as well. Prices go from more basic and upper for special products.
Even though they were about to close, the staff still provided us with exceptional attention. The wine tasting experience was amazing, and we also enjoyed walking around the beautiful premises. I will definitely be returning.
We really enjoyed tasting delicious wines at the winery and also hearing explanations about each wine! It was delicious and of high quality and I highly recommend visiting there!
Amazing experience. Great wine, great winery and super friendy host Narine. Thank you for amazing time.
Had a great visit at Don Jacobo this morning. Alejandro was to be a great host & communicator. A fascinating look behind the scenes included the barrel park & bottle room. Even for a small winery the sheer scale is amazing. Alejandro also provided a detailed historical timeline for the winery which was followed by a relaxed tasting. A couple of aged reds paired with chorizo & cheese proved to be a great combination with plenty of wine to go round.
We had to miss our original time due to transit issues and Alejandro was very accommodating. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. Even emailed us recs for Logrono and San Sebastián. Beautiful winery and great wine. Highly recommend!
A fantastic and informative tour behind the scenes at Don Jacobo.... Alejandro was a brilliant guide- we learnt a lot! He is an asset to the company. We enjoyed the wine tasting with nibbles before we took a beautiful tour of the vineyards on horseback. All organised smoothly and efficiently by the team.. would 100% recommend. Wonderful.
Alejandro is a legend. Loved the vineyard, he gave us recommendations for the entire region. The best winery experience I’ve ever had.

(Translated by Google) The Eva Armisén exhibition currently in Navarrete is very good. The girl who makes the visit does a great job, she brings you closer to the artist's life and you can tell that she is passionate about what she does. I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a good time through a different plan. (Original) Muy buena exposición la de Eva Armisén que hay actualmente en Navarrete. Very nice place. Staff is very polite, toilet is clean.
Fast service, decent pinxos and great cocktails

After a tour through the Rioja where most of the bodegas were closed for a spontanious visit and/ or buying wine, Montecillo was a warm welcome! Lovely wines, lovely hostess, super enthusiastic without being pushy. We tasted a lot of different wines and it was hard to make a decision! Ended up with a couple of boxes of very good Rioja and some special bottles of anis…. Just the Bodega we were looking for!
Tour wasn't in English, but I still enjoyed it. Amazing place to see.
Elisa provided us the premium tour and it was outstanding! Her knowledge is extensive and her energy unlimited. The duration of the tour was appropriate for exposure to the workings of the winery and tasting/discussion the wines. We had engaging discussions with Elisa about the wine and Rioja Region, we laughed and thoroughly enjoyed our time! This winery is a must for the wine, the education and the laughter!
Great tour with exceptional possibility of tasting from barrels and taste the difference of wood types. Guide very passionate about wine with proper knowledge. Some very interesting wines available
We received a very nice welcome and have been impressed by the visit of the bodegas and the professionalism they put into it.

An extremely great dining experience. A very cozy and serene feel when dining at this restaurant. The restaurant is in a small nook within the quiet city and it is an absolute treasure. We had a wonderful time dining here during our weekend getaway to La Rioja. The dishes were flavorful and had great portions. The appetizer was a bite size arepa with a delicious tomato sauce. Then we shared the croquetas which are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Then we shared 1kg of the steak where we were served it with hot plates that allows you to cook the meat even more if you prefer. It was served with a side of fried and peppers. Overall I highly recommend if you are in the area.
You MUST eat here. It is exceptional. They are striving for a Michelin star and it shows. Beats the Marquez de Riscal food hands down. Stunning location in underground cellars, excellent service and the food is fresh, innovative and exciting. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Nice, cozy little place with a simple menu covering all needs for meat, fish and vegetables. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A special thanks to the sommelier for the advice choosing the right bottle and the visit to the cellar. She is knowledgeable and definitely passionate about her region.
The staff is friendly, wonderful, and so patient with my attempts to speak Spanish. The food is amazing! I should have ordered more croquettes. I feel so happy from the experience! This was one of the best meals I have had thus far in my two weeks in Spain. Make sure you reserve your table to ensure you don't miss out.
A gem on the Camino! I found out about the restaurant from booking at the hotel Posada Ignatius. On the day we’re here, they’re only open for lunch. We ordered a la carte, croquette, salad, duck magret in mole sauce, beef tenderloin with cream of cauliflower. Everything was meticulously prepared. And it’s not just for the eyes. Croquettes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. My beef was exactly rare as I wanted. We had a Grand Réserva Tempranillo to accompany the beef and duck dishes. Service was attentive, friendly yet discreet. English is spoken here.
Absolutely one of our top highlights of our trip to Spain! Everyone there was so welcoming and helpful - we even got a tour of their lovely wine cellar to pick out their vast collection of wines! From the steaks to their dessert - everything was delicious and cooked to perfection!
Spectacular location in a cellar of an old palace with just six tables in the dining room. The reservation is essential. Food very well prepared both in preparation and presentation. Nice and attentive service. Wine list promoting local and author wines. Must visit 10/10
Great quality of food, really good service and beautiful wine list. Really enjoyed our dinner. Will return definitely. Highly recommended!

The best one in Navarrete! They have a big choice of different ceramic products, very beautiful and good quality. And the owner and master are both very attentive, open and nice. They have shown the old ceramic collection to us and told a lot of stories and derails. It was really amazing experience and visit. Highly recommended
Beautiful pieces of pottery and really helpful staff. Worth a look!!
Outstanding service , just incredible I would have given 7 stars !!!!!

(Translated by Google) During our visit to La Rioja, in addition to visiting wineries, we tried a different activity: learning about the art of pottery, which took us two and a half hours to explore. It was a great experience and helped us appreciate the craft and its artists. Antonio and his son-in-law guided us and helped us each mold two pieces of clay. They also showed us their extensive museum of pottery from all corners of Spain. Of course, we bought some of the pieces they had for sale; it's hard to choose due to the wide variety. I definitely recommend it.
