I visited this place without much expectation and we loved it. May be best suitable for kids but even for adults not a bad idea. I loved the garden and the pond area most. Even the area where animals are kept, very special. Kids may have lot of fun in the muddy puddle. I also liked the chicken area. There are cow. horse, pigs, chichen, sheep and more. It has free parking space and toilets. It is alao easily accessible by bus. Hope you have fun too, enjoy. 😊
Run by amazing volunteers with a wide variety of animals for adults and children alike even have a school activity book and picnic area
Went for family day had to pay £5 for a family of four for entry was a great day to raise funds for the farm.
Really lovely open to public tue-sun . Closed to public Mondays. Great parks around so other things to see in area
A Small farm in Shooters Hill, London. They had a selection of animals, including: pigs, lambs, chickens & guinea Pigs. No entry fee required they just request a donation. There was a car park and they had a little shop, and a cafe I think but it seemed to be closed. It's too small for a day trip but a lovely stop off for the children.
First time there this morning it’s a beautiful place to walk my little boy 😊
Came here out of peak and really enjoyed it. Animals are well looked after and healthy. Small variety, but you can see them all really well from the path. Room for a few more which one guy said they might bring in. Shame there wasn’t more for the kids to play on/with. Could do with a play area or something. The blacksmith workshop was really interesting, they could look into getting a wood workshop which might add another area of interest.
very good place to visit with small kids. Cows, sheep, chickens, tractor, loads of fun for small once. Free entrance, parking available.

Loved this pub. The pizza was great. The DJ better and the atmosphere is awesome. Love the sense of style. Will be making it my local!
'Gin, pizza, ale, cats' as the sign above the bar states. The exterior of the pub is pink, as is much of the interior, the decor, even the card machines. It's not subtle. But it is BRILLIANT. Much like spending the evening in the living room of a quirky but enormously fun friend, with excellent music taste. This pub has many good elements, but the most important is that is has soul. Something missing from so many pubs. This is a pub for all. And it's bloody great.
Quirky suburban pub in a residential area with a good live funk/jazz band from time to time. Decent variety of craft beers and lagers and a suitable food menu. The loaded chilli fries and the diavolo pizza were nice. Also has a large (semi-)outdoor area at the back (it may or may not be partially covered) which has vibey lighting.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, 2 spacious outdoor seating areas - perfect place for drinks. Pizzas look and smell amazing.
A good pub for pizza and beers, no kids allowed which is a nice change from the other pubs in the area for parents wanting a night off. Staff are always friendly and service is decent. Great beer garden in the summer months.
Recently moved from proper London out to Walthamstow and was worried about being far from any good pubs then found this one and it is great. It has a good atmosphere. It's friendly. And it is child free which is amazing for Walthamstow. Recommend!!
One of the best boozers in East, no! The whole of London! Great decor, music is always great, banging quiz and great food! Big shoutout to the staff! Even bigger shoutout to Ryan! Always makes me and my partner feel welcome and goes above and beyond even when it’s heaving which it always is especially with that beautiful back garden! Cannot fault this place, I always take friends and family here when they come to visit. Lastly, never change the no kids rule! There are enough pubs in and around the village that accommodate families… Again, love this place and the vibes and the staff are what make it great!
Excellent, has been for years. Good outdoor and indoor seating and Flossie the landlady puts on some great tunes. Plus you can light a candle for David Bowie (RIP)

I love it when there's a cozy, homely atmosphere in a pub or ale house, and when they pour a little more than a pint into a pint glass, it definitely makes me want to leave a tip for the bartender and come back for another pint of beer in the coming days. The bonus that everyone is asked to put their phone on silent mode so as not to disturb visitors watching the movie titled "Life" peacefully.
Great place for a quiet pint. No food.
First time in this micro pub, quite quiet when l visited. Pleasant owner and good beer. Worth a look .
The first micropub in South East London, formerly a electrical wholesalers and a garden centre. Rustic interior, intimate traditional old style pub. Three cask beers on offer served in lined glasses, ensuring a full pint. A good selection of still ciders are available and a small selection of wine and spirits.
Best beer in town. This is my most favouriteist of pubs. Can't beet the bear! Always a good selection and served straight from the barrel. And it's still good. I am always impressed by the beer. Good choices, friendly landlord and pleasant company. They had brilliant quizmaster tonight.
Very unfriendly people the worst place to visit. RUDE !
My first visit. I'd been promising myself that I would visit ever since it opened. That was 5 years ago! Excellent place with a good selection of beers and people. I met a stained glass artist from Woolwich. Can't say fairer than that. Will be visiting again soon.
We have been going to this wonderful real ale pub since Ray opened just over 3 years ago and have to say it's got better and better. His ales are kept superbly and the atmosphere (especially Sunday lunchtimes) is friendly and lively. Highly recommend

Lovely friendly staff Nicky and Ruby such lovely Girls, so helpful and friendly, both work really hard to keep everyone happy. Nice and clean. Well the food is amazing such good value for money everything was beautiful. 5 plates for £21 real good food and brilliant price. This place don’t get enough credit for the food it really is the place to go. Definitely be back
We had a great experience at the pub thanks to one of the staff members, a lovely girl called Lilly who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, she had a warm smile and a positive attitude that made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure everyone felt comfortable. It’s always nice to be served by someone who clearly enjoys their job and cares about the customers. Great service!
The food was delicious and very well priced the garden was nice and clean the service was quick and helpful. The pub is lovely for families and young children can enjoy the garden. The staff are polite and go out of their way to help. Over all I'd say a very nice pub close to nice walks and nice woods. Would recommend this pub to everyone if you're looking for a nice relaxing meal and drink after a walk in the woods.
Couldn’t recommend We Anchor In Hope in Welling more. I popped in recently and was seriously impressed. Cjai really went the extra mile to give us amazing service. Super friendly, attentive and genuinely made our visit special. The food was really good, we loved the atmosphere and you can tell the place has loads of potential. I’ll definitely be back soon. If you’re in the area, make sure you drop by. This pub deserves all the support it can get.
Pub half empty over an hour for food, can only imagine how long it would take for a full pub. As of writing this post still haven’t received the food ordered. Can only assume chief is having naps between cooking meals. No cutlery on the tables. 1 person serving behind the bar with a queue of people waiting. Toilets (men’s) dirty, needs a good clean and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment, sure you walk out with dirtier hands than I went in with.
Popped in for a quick drink but ended up staying much longer than planned. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Great vibe, good drinks, and just an all-round nice place to relax. Will definitely be back!
Food is always hit and miss, some days it’s really nice, other days it’s not so nice. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Heard one of the staff say ‘don’t forget to register your parking’ so much I began second guessing if I had done mine! Nice to see that start care though. Drinks were nice and they do have a decent selection to choose from. Overall a nice experience
Went there on Sunday Mother’s Day with husband felt light we were a after thought a we were sat at a wobbly table stuck in a corner husband tried to fix table with a bear mat to no avail . When we did order it took nearly 20 minutes to come from kitchen . husband had steak which he enjoyed but I had roast dinner potatoes we dry and made from frozen no seasoning or flavour broccoli was stone cold and also made from frozen no taste either , paid extra for pigs in blankets got one at a cost of

“I absolutely love Matt’s massage services! If I lived closer, I would definitely come more often. What I appreciate most is that each session feels unique, tailored to my needs at the time. I always leave feeling so much better and more relaxed after each massage. Highly recommend!”❤️❤️👏🏼
We experienced this amazing place yesterday, and it left us truly inspired. From its impeccable cleanliness to a strong emphasis on safety, every detail shines. The spa is beautifully organized, featuring a sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge, and a cinema room. Towels and slippers are readily available to enhance your comfort. The cinema room even has a fridge stocked with refreshing water and cold drinks that you can purchase. The jacuzzi offers a cool and relaxing escape, complete with a floating bar illuminated by colorful lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere. With soothing relaxation music setting the tone, you can enjoy precious moments with friends. The privacy of the space is remarkable, complete with a toilet and separate changing room that includes a shower, offering a perfect way to wrap up the evening. A hammock invites you to unwind, and a real olive tree celebrates the beauty of nature—truly the main attraction! Meticulously designed with exceptional taste, this lovely spa is, without a doubt, the best I’ve experienced. Their commitment to your health and safety is unwavering. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this oasis to witness its wonders for yourself!
Warning: Getting a massage here may ruin all future massages for you. Seriously, it is THAT good. I'm now completely spoiled and will probably be disappointed everywhere else I go. But honestly, I'm okay with that because Matt is such a skilled therapist that I don't see any reason I might go anywhere else. The sauna and hot tub were also fantastic. The sauna was perfectly heated, and the hot tub was spacious and sparkling clean. Go here – you won't regret it (unless you're afraid of being forever dissatisfied with other massage experiences!)." If you're looking for the ultimate relaxation experience, this is the place to go.
Over several years I've seen three other Bowen therapists because I've moved around, and Matt is definitely a good one. And yes, Bowen really works and I still don't know how so subtle interventions (in comparison to traditional physio) can have such a strong effect.
Matt's knowledge of the human body is incredible. After months of trying out different doctors and therapies, he reduced my pain considerably within only one session! Also such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
We truly enjoyed our experience with the sauna, hot tub, and ice bath. The privacy and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape. It was a great opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and calm both the body and mind. We’ll definitely be back!
Had my first lymphatic massage today, I felt very comfortable, it was explained clearly to me. It felt amazing after surgery 6 wks ago, my skin defiantly needed this and will be booking again to help with healing process. My skin certainly felt less tight and less hard. Thank you so much kate
This place is a hidden gem! The sauna and hot tub were top-notch, and the cold plunge was the perfect invigorating finish. The space is incredibly cozy, making it ideal for a group hangout. We appreciated the full range of amenities and were pleasantly surprised by the affordability. We'll definitely be back!

Had the best massage I’ve had in years by Leah. My husband had one with her too & he agreed she was brilliant & knowledgeable. Will definitely be back & purchased a massage for my friend too .
Staff are so friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Lash extensions look amazing and I would highly recommend this business.
Amy did my treatment today and explained me through the whole treatment. It was the best facial and massage I’ve had. Thank you
Always a lovely experience. Gracie does a wonderful job of my waxing and Amy did a fab job tinting and lifting my stubborn lashes. Thank you ladies 😊
Excellent service every time. Experienced staff. Courteous and confident. Makes the customer feel at ease.
Gracie was very professional and gentle when waxing. She does a great job. The salon is always very clean and I look forward to coming in for my appointments. Great salon. Would highly recommend
I've been to this beautician's for finger & toe nail gels, massage, facial, eye lash extensions and eyelash lift and tint in the last year or so. The team are always professional, attentive and courteous. Would recommend, as I continue to go back.
I really enjoyed my Full Body Massage today.Amy made feel very relaxed. I will definitely have it again and maybe for longer because it was so good. Thank you Amy .
