The most local circuit to me is one of the best in the country and my favourite to visit which I do on a regular basis. I was there on Sat (1/3) with friends for a track day. On the same day the rally stages were taking place and as usual it was a great day in a stunning countryside setting and the weather was perfect too. Will be back again very soon!
Great day watching BTCC. Entry was well managed although I arrived early. Exit less so, but if you plan accordingly and use one of the other entrances than the main one, I imagine this could be mitigated. Great facilities and food options. Could do with a few more bins maybe. I went for a track day here too on a weekday, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great track
If your a car enthusiast or enjoy car racing then this is a great place for both. This visit was for the golden cup event and was very enjoyable on both days. This circuit is often hosting a number of different events and its worth looking in its website to see whats upcoming. Parking is often easy and attendants are around. There is a place to eat inside and outside and often families and pets are welcome but check first.
Wow! What an awesome place this is. We went to the British touring car championship weekend, was absolutely brilliant. Very well organised, excellent toilet facilities which were kept clean. We camped for the weekend which you couldn’t fault at all. Would highly recommend
Our local track and a place we visit regularly. The last event of the year was the rallying. Bonfire and fireworks display. Great day out as always
We went to Oulton Park for the 2025 BTCC, a first time visiting this track. The grounds were very well kept and very tidy. The facilities were much the same with someone always walking around checking for spat, hand towels and toilet paper. There were plenty of bins available so rubbish was kept to an absolute minimum through the entire weekend. The people in our group agreed that this, so far, is the best track we've been to on the BTCC circuit and we only have knockhill and Snetterton to go. Absolutely fantastic weekend here at Oulton Park and we're definitely coming back again next year!
Great day at the Supercar pageant with plenty of cars to admire. Racing on too with Porsche super cup and Caterham 7 racing. Close up and personal in the pit lane and paddock, all access available to everyone. Great value for money.
Ma and the kids absolutley love coming here, a fantastic day out whatever the weather whatever the event, bring on 2026 we cannot wait!! Brill circuit, value, up close, easy in n out, just mega!

What a great day out. Beautiful location with stunning scenery. The castle grounds make for a great off-roading experience. If you want to get the best experience in one of these great cars, then this location I would definitely recommend. Staff and instructor Alex were very welcoming and helpful. The off-road tracks were great. They really got to test the cars off-road performance. When going round the track, you get to see some stunning views across North Wales and the woodlands make for a fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend a great day off-road experience driving in these great cars. 👍
Having owned various Land Rover vehicles over 30 years, I've been to many Land Rover Experience days in different parts of the country. This is the best one I've ever been to. Peckforton Castle is a stunning venue. The course itself will quickly teach you that you'll run out of courage before these cars run out of grip. Expert tuition is given in a safe and controlled environment that will make you appreciate your car more than ever. In all - a very enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Had a fantastic day yesterday going off road in a defender. Emma our instructor was the best, she made sure we had a lovely day and was super friendly. She talked us through all the maneuvers and I came away knowing a lot more about my own car and what it can do. Really good day out, would defo recommend.
We had the most unforgettable day at Peckforton Castle for my partner’s 30th birthday, and it was all thanks to our incredible driving instructor, Colin. From the moment we met him, his warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm made the whole experience feel extra special. Colin’s knowledge of the Land Rovers was second to none, and he had the perfect balance of being both patient and encouraging. He explained everything so clearly, making us feel confident behind the wheel while tackling terrain we never imagined we could conquer. His passion for what he does really shone through — he didn’t just give us a lesson, he gave us an adventure. Initially, I was only planning on being a passenger in the vehicle. I’ll admit I was nervous — I’m usually a very uneasy passenger and wasn’t sure how I’d cope. But after a gentle nudge from a lovely member of the reception team (who suggested I leave my licence details, just in case), and with Colin’s reassuring support, I decided to give driving a go myself. I can honestly say it was one of the proudest moments I’ve had — I conquered my nerves and achieved something I never thought I’d do. That was entirely thanks to Colin’s calm, encouraging nature. Thanks to him, what started as a birthday surprise for my partner turned into an unforgettable shared adventure for both of us. We left with huge smiles, memories we’ll treasure forever, and a newfound confidence (and love!) for off-road driving. If you’re lucky enough to get Colin as your instructor, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience. He’s simply brilliant!
Absolutely fantastic afternoon with the team. Everything explained clearly and allowed to push the Defender to my limits. The location is beautiful and a dry, sunny day made it all perfect. Stayed over with my wife at the castle to top things off. Really want to do the track when it's cold & wet, so will be back.
Fantastic day set In stunning surroundings. This is the first time me and my son have done anything like this and will most definitely do it again. On arrival was greeted by Mary on reception who talked us through the day and changed our vehicle from Range Rover Velar to a Discovery to get a better experience. Neil was our instructor who made it a great day with his knowledgeable explanation of how to drive the vehicle and get the best out of it. Thank you for a fantastic day.
Good morning, Just wanted to pass on our thanks an appreciation for a brilliant morning on Saturday 12th April. Julian was an excellent instructor, friendly, reassuring, and personable, which made the whole Land Rover experience very enjoyable. Learnt plenty about the capabilities of the Defender and would highly recommend the experience. Many thanks, Stuart and Lindsey 😊
Visited this weekend with my sons after recently purchasing a RR. Had a great time in a beautiful setting. Julian was friendly and informative, and encouraged both of my sons to drive (as 18/21 year olds they obviously loved it), we enjoyed the Defender - an amazing and capable car.

Great place. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Lots of wonderful reclaimed pieces of furniture, garden paving, seating and ornaments. You will be guaranteed to find something to buy that you didn't know you needed! 😊
Really cool place. Some absolutely brilliant pieces.
Lots of really cool things here, modern and ancient, small and large. The complex is a good size, but you can see it all in 30 minutes. Definitely worth a visit. Expect to see a lot of architectural structures, garden ornaments, furniture (lots and lots of Indian cupboards), oak mantles, benches.
It was nice to take a look around. We particularly enjoyed walking around the old buildings with the retro / vintage signs, it was very unique and exciting. I did buy something small as a gift. However, I did notice how expensive things were. A lot of the products were not in good condition and looked like they have not been cleaned / restored for a while. Dogs are allowed in any of the outdoor sections which was great. However, dogs were not allowed inside any of the indoor bits, which meant we couldn’t explore all the areas.
Excellent service and very friendly and polite. Bought a 12 foot giraffe, and my wife loves it . Quick post and delivery. Will buy from you again. Thank you 😊
Located on the A49 Just past the hollies before the cross road traffic lights, if your looking for something that bit different or quirky you'll definitely find it here. Has some pretty good stuff. Worth a browse.
What a brilliant place to visit easy to walk around spotlessly clean and tidy everythings well layed out there's some wonderful items, friendly helpful staff definitely recommend a visit
Lots of interesting and very unusual & unique items. I must have driven past the gate dozens of times : so glad I finally stopped off one day. Architectural items, home decor, furniture and outdoor garden items : even items from an old funfair! Well worth a visit.👍

Fabulous! Sandra and her team are so welcoming. We came on a organised riding break initially and have since returned many times for extra lessons and extra riding breaks! Chris has always been our instructor and she really is amazing. We come as a mum and daughter x 2 duo and it amazes me how she teaches all 4 of us at the same time with such different abilities. We all agree we learn so much. We love our visits to Willington thank you for having us. (Wish it could be every week)
Beautiful old brick stables, lovely horses and pony's. Excellent and friendly instruction catering for all abilities. If you want to learn how to ride, this is the place to go.
Lovely staff who are really helpful and kind, Ive had the best instructors in the world teaching me, all really lovely! Lovely horses and ponies, all are nice natured and they all teach you a lot! Been coming here for almost 3 years and i’ve loved every second! Met some lovely friends too! Such a stunning place! Really thankful that i came to willington!
We just came back from a wonderfull dressage experience at willington hall. Our intructor Chris was really well skilled to teach us at our level (novice, advanced, experienced). They picked the perfect horses for us to improve our riding skills. During those days we had nice conversations with everyone at the riding school. Sandra and Helen thank you so much for trusting us with your horses. And Chris thank you so much for your lessons.
Was treated to a 1.5 hour hack for a significant birthday gift. Was given a warm welcome at Willington, a professional and thorough assessment as to capability before going out. It was the first time in 30 years I have been on a horse. I was made to feel happy and confident and comfortable, despite my rusty riding skills. I could not praise this place enough. I had a fantastic experience, hacking along the sandstone trail and Delamere Forrest - stuff of dreams! I am still grinning from ear to ear 24 hours later. The horses are stunning, and have character and spirit - not follow my leader horses. The staff so friendly and welcoming, yet completely professional and competent. Thankyou Willington. I will be back.
I started riding here in the year 2000. 19 years later I am still here. I think that shows how much I like it! The horses are fantastic; they are incredibly well schooled, many compete or have competed with success and they have horses to suit all abilities. The instructors are second to none.
Just came back home from a wonderful third time ridingbreak! This time I took 4 private ridinglessons here. I was absolutley happy with the tution from both of the instructors, and the lovely horses that I rode! I couldnt have asked for more. I did get a lot of help to improve my riding, and I allready miss the beautiful horses that I rode! You cant get enough of this place, you just want to come here more and more times! Sandra has fabulous horses, and all of the staff are so nice and helpful! I wish that I would live a little closer, so I could come here to ride every week! The place is truly magical!
I have been riding at willing ton hall for 23 years and I have never had a less than perfect experience . From piper the wonder horse to Murphy the boy with the cheeky face , all the horses hacks and lessons have been wonderful . The staff are fantastically knowledgable and their care of the horses is second to none. I have loved every minute of my time there .

Celebrated my friends 60th with her sister. Had a lovely lunch then on with the Spa treatments, swim and evening meal. Everything was perfect. Rooms lovely and clean, although we couldn't find the TV remote 😅, not important though , so we chatted instead. Slept really well, beds comfortable and the pillows were lovely and plump. Ended our stay with a delicious breakfast before we set off home.
Spacious, peaceful stay – with room for improvement Overall, I had a lovely stay. The room was very spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and a generous bathroom. The location is beautiful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing break. The spa looked great, though I didn’t get a chance to use it this time. One downside is the lack of air conditioning – the room got quite warm at night. The decor is quite dated and could do with a refresh. The shower was a bit frustrating – I couldn’t regulate the water temperature properly, which made it less enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean. With a few modern updates, especially to the bathroom and cooling, this could easily be a five-star stay. I’d definitely consider coming back.
Received a spa treatment as a gift through groupon. Included afternoon tea. Upgraded and paid extra from 25 minute treatment to an hours treatment. Can’t fault the treatment. My therapist was Victoria, she was amazing. Spa itself quite nice. Downstairs pool area - flaking ceiling and tired and uninviting. Did not want to get in. Afternoon tea was unappealing. Very cold finger sandwiches that appeared in no time, (obviously made up early in tubs), and chilled crumbly scones not very edible, a few miniature cakes. Not very nice. No garnish on plate, was plain and boring. Would have been better to just book two one hour treatments and enjoy them than hang around most of afternoon waiting for treatments. Lovely golf course/location. Hotel dated. Staff overall very nice.
Weekend away with a 40 year Golf Society group. Friday played the Premier course, a thumbs up but need to spend a bit a money, Tee's we're poor on this course, Booked into club house down the road after this game. Evening meal was well served and very tasty, Sat and Sunday played the Championship course, better, but again Tee's need a little TLC. Evening meal disappointed with ? Same as the nights before?? Come on people, not very good hey ? Ps, make sure ya hire a Buggy, long courses or what. Got wet on the Sunday, but all enjoyed otherwise.
We stayed here for a short golf trip and was impressed by the gentleman on reception for our trip. He was very polite and informative. The rooms were clean and very quiet which made for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good. However, the evening meal was rather expensive for what it was.
Great hotel. Menu in hotel restaurant needs to be changed more often and probably more varied. Pool and sauna is very good. Gym could be better planned out as weight section in abit tight.
I bought a spa day with a facial and afternoon tea for my friends 60th. It did not disappoint. Beautiful settings, well maintained and clean. Reception and staff very pleasant and helpful. The pool was large and the sun’s, steam rooms etc were all good. The lockers were easy to use and spacious changing rooms. A lovely facial and a chill in the relaxation room. A quick stop for photos in the bar area and taking in more beautiful views and then into the bright and lovely tables for our afternoon tea. Beautifully presented, however the portion sizes were a little on the small side to what we are used to. All in all a great value day
We booked an indulgence spa break here, through another company. Which included 2 x 25 spa treatments, access to leisure facilities, dinner/bed/breakfast. From the moment we arrived every member of staff has been friendly and engaging, making us feel very welcomed. Our room was fantastic, Elemis products in the bathroom. Beds very very comfortable, lovely pillows, slept well. Would highly recommend staying, and would 100% return..🥰

Katya is a skilled therapist who immediately made feel at ease, straightaway I knew that I was in experienced hands. I had a deep tissue massage and pro 30 facial and both treatments were excellent. The massage pressure was perfect and Katya focused on sore areas with skilled technique, whilst frequently checking that the pressure was good. I left feeling much less tense and very relaxed and pampered! I would certainly have further treatments with Katya and highly recommend her!
Angela was absolutely amazing – very professional, friendly, and accommodating throughout my visit. She made me feel comfortable and ensured everything was done to a high standard. I really appreciated her attention to detail and warm approach. Highly recommend her!
Fabulous pedicure from Katya today my feet feel as soft as a baby’s bottom! Followed by an excellent massage. I’ll definitely be booking in with Katya again :) Janice
Angela removed my seborrheic keratosis quickly and painlessly. I highly recommend her!
After a brief consultation Angela was able to fit me in for a Cryopen treatment for a skin imperfection. Angela was extremely pleasant and professional. Lovely salon highly recommended. UPDATE - Third and final visit to assess Cryopen treatment I received in June to a cosmetic lesion on my décolletage area. I’m absolutely delighted with the improvement, as the old scarring has virtually disappeared. A big thank you to Angela who carried out the procedure. I highly recommend her!
A fresh, clean and welcoming environment met me when I went to see Angela in her beautiful salon this week. She is a lovely, pleasant lady who works quickly and carefully as she removed the skin tags from my neck area. Thank you so much Angela x
I feel so lucky to have Angela’s wealth of expertise and knowledge to call upon. I have been visiting Angela at Sensoria since January for electrolysis and I can see a vast improvement Angela is a lovely person and a true professional. I look forward to future treatments knowing I am in safe hands! Thank you for your care and time Angela.
I was lucky enough to experience the Hello January pamper package yesterday with Charlotte as my therapist. I had the best couple of hours at the salon! Everything was lovely from the treatments themselves to the warm welcome I received and the sense of well-being I have felt since. I woke up this morning with the smoothest skin ever and I am so pleased! Absolutely top notch. Thank you so much X
