Great place to visit if you are interested in military weapons and history. Two very huge exhibition holes one with multi-levels and the other one full of restored tanks from different nations, very friendly staff too including a bistro/restaurant.
This was hands down the best museum I have ever been to. The layout was very nice and had made it feel well organized. The diversity of attractions ranging from light aromorment and radio all the way to tanks not missing anything in between kept me interested and excited. The staff was incredible and had explained in detail the best way to walk through it. If you can go it is a must. Best 15 dollars spent.
+ Many exhibits + Well maintained + Parking available + Entry = Adult 15CHF and kid 6 CHF + Bistro also available inside + Can pay with a card /twint - At bistro was asked to pay with cash else need to pay on card at shop - Open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday + / - All details were written only in German
Excellent collection of tanks, afv, cannons and armaments. The oerlikon buehrle company collection has been integrated. The museum also has many events and its a good idea to look at the homepage. In general a very exquisite collection. Plan enough time for any visit. Opening times winter summer diffrent!! Always check homepage. Tank weekend in Sept is epic.
Low expectations but came away blown away. The museum is run like a club, but with massive super rare toys. The place is not huge, but who cares, what they have inside is awesome. I Must recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in military equipment. I have travelled the world and have never seen such an amazing diverse collection.
The best, loved it, no public transportation nearby though had to walk for 30 mins to reach from the nearest recommended station, but worth it.
What an excellent museum - especially for a neutral country! It must be said that although neutral, Switzerland has been responsible for producing some of the finest armaments, and much of that history is on display here. There are two very large buildings - one has everything from cannons, missiles, small arms, models etc, and even a V1 flying bomb with a cockpit. The second building houses the heavy armour, including tanks and other vehicles from Europe, Russia, and across to the USA, both wartime and post war. Special thanks to Walter who gave us an impromptu and unexpected tour of the museum.
I absolutely loved it. Any military enthusiast woul. So many armored vehicles, guns and systems at one place... I felt like Alice in the Wonderland. Spent by roaming the museum more than 5 hours and would not hesitate comming back. Very good. The only downtown thing is the descriptions are just in German. AAA+ experience anyway! Will definitelly come back to see the King Tiger when fully restored!!!

Come to visit Bad Zurzach! Nice place, Thermalbad, restaurants, walking paths and beautiful sightseeing.
This is a very nice place to enjoy a weekend or a day with your family. Alot of options what you would like to do. I will definitely come back
(Translated by Google) Nice time in the bathroom. only criterion; There is such a possibility in the grotto, where I can see it. Although the weightlessness is beautiful, the relaxation is always disturbed by clashing with others! (Original) schöni ziit im bad. einzig kriterium; i dä grottä söttis e möglichkeit gä, wo mä adockä cha. s schwerelosä umätriebä isch zwar schön, d entspannig wird aber immer wider dur zämestöss mit anderä badegäscht gschtört!
(Translated by Google) It has a great new children's area🤩 You are always refreshed afterwards It's clean and the staff is friendly too (Original) Es hat einen super tollen neuen kinderbereich🤩 Man ist jeder zeit erhollt danach Es ist sauber personal ist auch freundlich
(Translated by Google) Clean thermal baths, reasonable price, especially with the discount band.
(Translated by Google) It is very good to spend time and relax, everything is very organized and clean, such as the showers and changing rooms., (Original) Esta muy bien para pasar el rato poder relajarte, todo muy organisando y limpio como duchas y vestuarios.,
(Translated by Google) Beautiful outdoor pools. For my taste, there aren't enough relaxation options in the sauna area without having to go back to the thermal rooms. The terrace is certainly nice in the summer, but in the winter it is definitely only OK for a short cooling off and not for a longer stay.

Good location for grocery and house necessities
A nice store, but they should change their diet/gluten free strategy. Things are all over the place. I don't have time looking for something they might have.
Not the biggest Migros, but more complete than the Coop also in BZ. The bakery does tend to run out soon after lunch - they don't seem to have figured out that people would want to buy gipfel for tomorrow's breakfast.
Great! This MIGROS has a larger variety than most located in smaller towns. The store is big and nicely presented.
4-stars for the swiss chocolate and Zweifel chips. It has the typical groceries, not much else.
Great value for the money. Always a great vegetarian lunch.
Well, it's a Migros. Nothing more, nothing less. Usual mid size supermarket with a restaurant upstairs.

We (4 adults and a 4-year old) went on Sunday September 15 to Papa Moll Land. We arrived at 10:30 and found parking easily thankfully as we hadn’t realized that there was a special fair that day. We did not participate in the fair as we wanted to do the Papa Moll Trail. We registered and received a small booklet (in German) which gave instructions and a question to answer at each of the 15 stops. It was a really nice path - well indicated by small green paw prints on the ground at specific points. Part of it is walking on paths out in the sun and farther along you walk in more shaded areas. The path is flat in most areas but there are a couple of inclines and stairs. We walked past old salt mills, along the river Rhine, and partly onto a bridge that links Switzerland to Germany. At each station there were items to uncover (ex: signs on benches, count the number of trees along the alley, find which animal sculpture is placed on a tree branch, etc) the answers to which we wrote down in the booklet. Near the 10th station there is a fire pit where you can grill sausages etc. with a few logs to sit on (ok for 2 families but unfortunately not enough sitting spaces if there are more people). At the end our 4 year old handed in the booklet with the answers and got a small gift! In total it was about a 5 km walk. It was nice to spend a few hours outside and the information/questions in the booklet were a great way to learn more about the Bad Zurzach area.
We had a great walk and the kids were eager to find the clues. Finished with the mini golf. Recommended
Great course-hard enough for an adult and lots of fun for kids. Loved it!
(Translated by Google) 30 Fr for three people absolutely cheeky to walk around the city a bit at the end. The path has nothing to do with Papa Moll at all. In the end we got three beach balls as a prize, a joke definitely never again...
(Translated by Google) Unfortunately far too expensive. It's understandable that the children have to pay, although it's exaggerated, but that the adults also each have to pay to run around in nature and it doesn't have much to do with Papa Moll. More like the story of Römer and Bad Zurzach, it's too difficult for small children. And the price in the end, well for 10 Fr. per person it is very pitiful. Definitely won't come again. Too bad (Original) Leider viel zu teuer. Schade
(Translated by Google) The Papa Moll Weg is a nice walk around Bad Zurzach. Unfortunately, the fun cost CHF 11 per person = CHF 44 for a family of 4. Absolutely unrelated. The subsequent visit to the thermal bath was also a disappointment and cost another CHF 74.20 for two hours! Total CHF 118.20. And we haven’t eaten anything yet… it’s a real shame! A flat rate for both would be absolutely necessary. The Papa Moll World in the thermal baths is great for small children up to 3 years old, only the slide is for older children. Kept very small - we expected more from a world. Here too: poor price/performance ratio Too bad! Steht absolut in keinem Verhältnis.
(Translated by Google) Nice path and easy to do with children aged 6-8. Unfortunately, the route and tasks have little to do with Papa Moll, more like regional sightseeing (salt towers, Romans). It would be great if characters & stories appeared along the way. Great surprise at the end. Also: Only 1 fireplace, which fills up quickly.
(Translated by Google) Dad minor way A very beautiful, exciting and interesting Rätzelweg. Our grandchildren aged 6 and 9 were thrilled and persevered until the end. The prize caused great enthusiasm and gave us grandparents a breather at home😁☕️.
