Winter weather visit but you can still see the famous horses here. Not everything was open, so I mostly had the entire experience without crowds of visitors startling the horses. Well stocked souvenir store and if it's important to you the toilets were very clean and comfortable. My only negative thought was that the carriage displays are in desperate need of non-glare glass, impossible to see the displays in the daylight hours without smashing your cupped face right up against the glass.
A tour is offered in five languages (EN, DE, IT, FR, SL) every two hours. The tour is lovely, just the right length to be informative and not long and you get to see the main points of the farm. I would highly recommend booking the horse show. There's playgrounds outside of the farm if you have kids.
I have ambivalent feeling after the visit of the farm. Although it was a nice Sunday afternoon activity, I somehow expected the experience to be different. Better, let’s say. The farm itself is nice, but things that are there to visit are less impressive. The museum exposition has reached its expiration date. The walk around stables is nice, but you can’t visit as many buildings as you would like to. (Or as many as are noted in the guide pamphlet) The display of the carriages should at least be enlightened, as you see more of your reflection than of what is behind the glass. We also went to see the show, it was just okay. The whole presentation of it on the website raised expectations that were not really met, in the end. But it still was an experience and afternoon well spent. And finally, the fact that there is Casino and paid parking lot in middle of all this makes this place looking cheap and obscure.
A wonderful place to visit with family even young children. There are many places to visit to learn about the history of the stud farm and the reading of the show horses. If you plan well you can also take in a show here and it is well worth the time to do so. There are places to eat and have refreshments so it is easy to make a day of it here. Plenty of places for the young ones to play and run around.
A fun day out for anyone with even the slightest interest in horses. As well as the informative displays and museums, there’s nearly always something else going on to keep you entertained, whether it’s training or competitions.
Victoria (apologies for the English spelling!) was a fantastic guide on our tour today, she was funny, knowledgeable, and kind. We did the tour, the museum, and the dogs are allowed everywhere except the riding school/arena if you plan to see a demonstration. However, the staff will walk your dogs for you while you watch! A great time of year to go, if you wish to see the foals. I throughly recommend this to anyone, not just those who are interested in horses as the history and the area is beautiful.
Disappointed with the guided tour today (9th June @ midday), the guide was rude and shut a few people down when they asked questions. She snapped if they wanted to know that they, " Should book an expert tour!". Which they do not offer! She could have just said she didn't know. It was awkward and unnecessary. The rest of the tour was a bit light on information for anyone who is into horses and wishes to understand more about the breeding and training. Seeing the mares and foals was lovely, but apparently on other days they are usually not there at midday and are out in the field grazing, so the best time to go is around 9.30am to see them gallop out to the field. Temper your expectations...and enjoy?
A must-see in Slovenia – even if you’re not a horse lover! We spent a day at the Lipica Stud Farm and were absolutely enchanted. The grounds are straight out of a picture book – vast green meadows, white wooden fences, and beautiful old trees everywhere. You can freely explore the stables on your own, but I highly recommend joining a guided tour: it’s available in several languages and gives fascinating insights into life at the farm and the history of the Lipizzaners. The dressage show was another highlight – top-class riders and stunning horses in perfect harmony. But nothing beats the magical moments in the morning and evening when the herds are let out onto the pastures. Watching hundreds of these elegant, powerful horses gallop into the open fields is a memory we’ll never forget. Admission isn’t exactly cheap, but what you get in return is well worth it – even for those who wouldn’t usually consider themselves horse enthusiasts. A truly unique experience in a beautiful setting.

This is THE place where it all started. Our guide around the grounds was very nice and knowledgeable. We were able to visit a number of areas, pet the horses and more. We didn't have time with the group for other activities like a carriage ride etc.
A modern small museum. Horse history shown.
Amazing place for horse lovers! It's huge, in the middle of beautiful nature, and really nicely restored. Staff is also friendly and helpful.
A really nice experience and worth a visit, at this time of year without crowds, meaningfully arranged with great love and dedication to beautiful Lipizzaners, the only complaint is that the carriage collection is not available for sightseeing and very limited interactive museum display, beautiful nature with walking opportunities
Had a fantastic time learning about the history of the horses and realizing the importance of them for imperial functions. A truly national pride.
Nice place. There is no horse show, so children might be disappointed. For what they show, entrance fee expensive.
A beautiful place to clear your mind, especially if you like horses.
(Translated by Google) The visit to the Lipica Stud Farm and Museum is fascinating and highly educational. Seated in the riding arena stands, we watched the show "A Tale of Lipica," a magnificent celebration of the equestrian heritage and centuries-old tradition of breeding Lipizzan horses. With roots dating back to 1580, this masterpiece of classical riding weaves a compelling narrative of love, pride, and beauty between horses and riders. The white Lipizzans, with their elegance and grace, enchant the audience, demonstrating the depth of their bond with their riders in performances that are true works of art. An unmissable spectacle that promises to captivate and excite anyone lucky enough to witness it. After the show, we visited the stables and stud farm.

Very beautiful and well organised casino with perfect a la carte menu. Even Angels would eat if they have mouth🙂 super tasty, fresh, profesional service by stuff. All really gentle and willing to help. Most of all I like domestic feeling, without any tensions. I give you 10 stars
I had written my review last week because of pathetic service. We are seafarers working for a cruise company and we are based in Trieste and we visited the casino but they did not let us enter with our seafarers identify card which is valid everyway in the world and all the casinos in Slovenia accept it because our passports are with our employer's. You loose business because we are accepted by other casinos all over the world and Slovenia.
What the hell.. Worst admiral casino ever I saw... If you are not an Italian citizen then you can't use a high payout machines
I recommend, but the rating was only becouse of my entrance into the building.I had a cupon for my first visit, but there was the end of my visit at the entrance. My husband did not have a permitted entrance so I returned with him.Without explaining why he still has ban.
Very interesting, so nicely evening....... Thankful.......
Live 21 was fun(I lost money). Great casino.

Land based casino with 178 slot machines, 2electronic roulettes and several progressive Jackpots. Restaurant with 35 seats.
Nice place, and staff is so kind.
Amazing food. Gorgeous presentation.
(Translated by Google) My wife and I were here, the casino is nothing special, a lot of old machines and a restaurant with decent food. The staff was mostly friendly, with the exception of an older employee with brown hair (I think her name is tanya or taja) who stood behind me and my wife and kept looking at our machines and talking to us like we were old friends. She insisted on how and where we should bet. Such behavior completely put me off playing and my wife and I left the casino afterwards. We came to have fun, not to look for a sucker who follows us and waits for some kind of tip like a dog at a bowl of his dinner.

(Translated by Google) Very pleasantly surprised! The staff is extremely friendly and always makes you feel welcome with a smile. The offer is diverse and there is something for every taste. The food was top-notch - I especially have to praise the Vienna steak, which was crispy and juicy at the same time, and the calamari, which was soft, tasty and cooked just right. A truly great experience that I would happily recommend. I will definitely come back!
