This is a really very good place to spent time with children. Kids have soo much to explore and won’t get bored at all. Only tip i could share that i only consider cash , there is no card payment even for tickets. So remember to bring cash along with you.

Before you go this place is ca$h only, so no cards. Carparking is on either side of the main road and spacious. The park is very clean and well kept. There are a lot of things to do from slides to the bobsled so this will keep the kids entertained. There are also a lot of animals to look at including wolves, donkeys and wild boar. There is also a bird sanctuary complete with a show by the bird keeper. This is all set against the backdrop of a beautiful valley surrounded by tall trees. We stayed for 5 hours and saw most things but it would be easy to stay longer... All in all a nice relaxing and entertaining place to visit.

Great park, especially for younger children who haven't got the energy for a bigger amusement park you need all day for! The coasters are both great fun and already justify the entrance fee. But our 6yo spent most of the time on the huge amazing playgrounds. They're super safe, nets all around so the kids can't fall from any significant heights. There's bumper boats, pedal boats, a "Kettenkarussell", all included in the entrance fee. You can bring your own picnic or even rent a barbecue, but there's two snack bars as well. Not a huge selection, especially if you had any dietary requirements, but suitable for a smaller amusement park. One downside: everything needs to be paid in cash. If you don't know, you'll need to go back to the next village for an ATM. All in all a great day out and can only recommend!

We went for the ‘Wine in the English Garden’, which is hosted on the first Saturday of each month, and ended up doing a wine tasting as well. Our Vinotheker, Johann, was incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to tell us about the wine, the vineyard, the history of the area and pretty much anything else we asked him about. All around it was one of our favourite wine tastings in Europe, and certainly the best we’ve been to in Germany.
