Hintersteiner See is absolutely stunning, truly a hidden gem with breathtaking views. The hike around the lake is quite easy and enjoyable, roughly 6 km in total, making it perfect for a relaxing walk in nature.

Incredible stunning beauty of nature. This place is my all time favourite. The scenery is mind blowing. You can walk around the lake. The people in the surrounding are very friendly. A big parking area is available. The buses are available only gor several times during the day i guess, so make sure to look for the availability of the public transport prior to the visit.

Nice mountainous area with a lake. You can go on great hiking trips from here. You'll also find 2 places for drinks and food at the shore. It's quite popular and parking space is very limited.

Great cable ride to the top of the mountain, where the views onto the surrounding peaks are great! I must say that once on the top everything is very touristic and crowded, something that I'm not used to when hiking in for example Italy. But a brief 10 mins walk will get you out of the crowds. The mountains are paved with well maintained paths and signs. Maybe a bit too well 🤣

Very professional and fun both for kids and adults. Our kids improved their skiing skills significantly in just a few days thanks to Cato and Lena, and us adults both learned and had fun thanks to Herbert!

The office staff at this ski school were incredibly unfriendly and displayed zero customer focus. We visited their website to check for a 3-day course for our kids and followed the recommendation to book in person at their office. When we arrived, we were met with rude behavior and even ridicule for trying to book something just one day in advance. There was no effort to assist us or offer any alternative solutions. In stark contrast, we approached another ski school. Their staff were polite, empathetic about being fully booked, and went above and beyond to help us find a solution. Thanks to their efforts, our kids are now set to start their skiing adventure at that school. This experience made it abundantly clear which school truly values its customers. Avoid this one if you expect basic courtesy and professionalism.

Had private lessons at the start of the week to improve my snowboarding. Instructor Ward took his time and thoroughly analyzed my habits and gave good instructions that helped me progress throughout the rest of the week. Thanks!

Excellent instruction from Cristian! I came in as a nervous skiier, only comfortable on easy blue slopes. I took 6 hours of private lessons in English with Cristian and he helped me gain confidence and skill to ski red slopes. He took us around to try many different pistes so after the lessons, I was able to ski into the other SkiWelt areas without fear. The office was able to book the lessons last minute but I highly recommend emailing them before your trip to confirm there is availability.

We came as total beginners on 12th Feb, we were assigned Alloys as our instructor, there were 6 of us in group. Alloys quickly assessed us all and got us onto basics, he pushed us sufficiently to keep momentum and daily we progressed quickly, Alloys was incredible at encouraging, being real on points for correction and really flexible with us all. He was fun, related to each fo us, mixed up the training and used different parts of mountain to make it more interesting. The ski school represented by Alloys made our first adventure (as a late 40’s couple) really fun and the remaining 3 days skiing on our own proved how good our training foundations were.
