Solemar Thermal Baths are fantastic, the highest salt baths in Europe with the water always 33 degrees, whether indoor or outdoor. A few hours in the salt baths has a real rejuvenating effect on the body. This was our second visit and we stay in the Womo Stellplaz next door. We had intended to stay a few days to take in the thermal baths and the town so when we arrived on May 5th to discover a special offer that was a treat. For a three night stay, including electric hook up and a daily 3 hour visit to the baths the price of €17 per day was amazing value. Bad Duerrheim is a lovely town with two beautiful Kurparks for lots of walking. We had a wonderful time and would live to return.
For a full day, of almost every service you can get, we paid 60 EUR in total. That included, a 3 hours stay in the all the pools and all saunas. As well as 2 big body towels, and finally a 1 hour stay in the salt caves (photos attached). Great experience, great service, highly recommended. A real therapeutic experience
Nice big pools, temperature was great, free parking, excellent and clean facilities. But unhappy staff and way too overcrowded - there seems to be 0 control as to how many people are let in. We were like sardines & chairs were blocked by the towels of people who were IN the pool! Please go check out the Therme in Thonon les Bains, France & you will understand why your massage- Düsen are actually quite unpleasant - the air coming from underneath and so strong is not nice at all. If it was coming from the side / from the walls - that would have been a different story. 3* cos I loved the Salzgrotte, which is amazing!
The venue offers free parking, reasonable price and has good staff. Hopefully, there won't be any issues with the lockers. Shower queues were manageable, and there was enough space for everyone when we visited on Friday.
Simply amazing. I will surely come back. Different type of pools, hot and cold water.
READ THIS COMMENT BEFORE YOU GO!!! My wife and I decided to go to this “Therme” after reading online on their website what they are offering and seeing the pictures. After getting there it was NOT at all what they advertised. When I go to a Therme I want to enjoy HOT natural water, NOT high cold chlorine water which I can go to a regular hotel. They actually had the water advertised “1 degree” cooler because of “electric” being expensive. I believe every customer pays for a service and we would rather pay higher or the price they advertise to enjoy and experience something I expect from them. The large pool that said was 34 degrees was not more than 29-30, I went talked to the personnel and he agreed the water is heated and not more than that. Which is when we decided that neither of the pools were hot only barley warm to go get out and talk with the front desk about the situation. After talking with the personnel why the water is so cool with only one pool salted and rest was high in chlorine which was really disappointing and not what “natural Therme” are we asked them to refund us are money and to leave. We only stayed 15 min and paid for a full day, they did not want to give us anything back and kept arguing why the water is so cold because the electricity and they won’t do anything. This is called being “thieves” and showing very poor customer service!!! I would never recommend and quite the contrary tell other NOT to go here. There are SO MANY other beautiful THERME in the area within distance that would offer so much more and actually care about their customers.
Good variety of activities like hot and cold tubs, sauna, mist room, indoor and outdoor connecting pool with massage jets, waterfalls, etc. The changing and showering rooms are pretty standard and clean. Nice Biergarden with good food and bier menu as well as seating and “beach” area. Good cafeteria with seating with umbrellas. The freshwater pool was out of order but seemed vey small.
I was on holiday in germany for two weeks and I visited this pool twice. I would have happily visited more times if it was closer to the town I stayed in. This is a beautiful pool. With the indoor and outdoor areas, jets, lazy river, showers and bubbles, there is plenty to do. I had never been in a salt bath before. The salt water soothed my dry skin. It's like a full-body spa. I usually need to moisturise after showering, but I didn't have to after this. It's so easy to float and relax, especially in the indoor hot pool. I could live there. The food is great too, and reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit expensive, but they always are in germany. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Tiny, nice nostalgic stuff, but staff was unfriendly.

(Translated by Google) You used to be able to eat a really great pizza, but since there's a new one behind the bar you can forget that. Yesterday I was turned away for the second time just because I wanted two pizzas to take away with the answer "I'm alone and can't do it" even though the store wasn't full. It's a real shame because you could always eat very well... now probably just vacuum and play.
