Nice place. You can book in advance. Feels like underground. Stylish. You can buy drinks, order pizza, play bowling. There’s amusement part to it too ( bring a lot of £). Overall good fun & child friendly!
Best bowling alley in London! Thought I'd just come to a regular bowling alley but there are 2 floors, an arcade room, a pool room, and live DJ sets on each floor so you can have a drink and a dance if you're not playing. On Friday and Saturday nights it's basically an adult playground. I had a great time and look forward to coming back. Thanks to all the staff that keep the place nice for us punters 🫶🏾✨
Used to visit this spot way back over a decade ago, Came back recently good to know it's still alive and holds a good night. Even more of a vibe with music, drinks, bowling, Arcade, Pool and even Karaoke. All around good vibes, drinks are very reasonably priced, definitely recommend.
Rowans Tenpin Bowl in Finsbury Park is a lively and varied entertainment space that manages to blend the casual thrill of a bowling alley with the buzz of a weekend hangout spot. With 24 fully air-conditioned lanes, it comfortably accommodates groups both large and small, while arcade games, pool tables, karaoke, DJs spinning in the evenings and a bar make it much more than just a bowling night. The atmosphere is energetic—especially during peak hours—but there are quieter moments midrange when the noise subsides, making it a nice option for more relaxed evenings too. On the flip side, a few things can dampen the experience depending on when you visit. During busy times, service can struggle—staff seem pressed, and ordering food or drinks may take longer than expected. Some reviews also mention that staff attitudes are hit-or-miss, which detracts from what is otherwise a fun night out. For visitors seeking a balance of entertainment, food, and atmosphere, Rowans definitely delivers—just plan ahead if you're going during peak hours.
Dear Terry, AP & the Rowans Team, I wanted to reach out to express our sincere thanks for hosting our corporate event at your venue. The event turned out wonderfully well, and we were thoroughly impressed. Your upgraded facilities were excellent, and the level of care we received contributed significantly to the smooth running of the evening. I would like to extend special recognition to AP, who was truly outstanding in looking after us throughout the event. His exceptional service and attention to detail made such a difference to our experience. See you next year!
It was my first time coming, I had booked a lane for two and made a reservation online before. I was unaware I had only paid a deposit and still had £10.20 left to pay (I was in the wrong here of course). I went to the front desk to ask which lane to go on when he asked to pay £10.20 (which is again, completely understandable). I was unaware so politely asked why I needed this fee. He then strangely and immediately, became incredibly defensive and demeaning asking me to check my booking which I promptly did and quickly realised my mistake. I apologised quickly and told him I would pay now but for some strange reason he kept on saying 'check the booking, check the booking' and 'i'm telling you to pay it, don't question it', 'don't be rude to me' and 'i'm not desperate for your money'. I was very confused because I literally agreed to pay and apologised multiple times but, since he enjoyed his little power trip, kept going and saying 'you'll get a refund on monday'. Not wanting to ruin my night, I calmly stated AGAIN I would be happy to pay to which he finally agreed. This is NOT how you treat customers, it is rude and unacceptable. Overall incredibly aggressive and demeaning man-child with the emotional intelligence of a pineapple. The rest of the bar staff were lovely though.
I was here on Friday night for a 2hr karaoke session. There were security at the entrance which I was surprised about but there was no issues going in. The vibes were great inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for groups !
Ezra was amazing and he made us feel the most comfortable. Brilliamt staff member with all the skills and knowledge required! Go upstairs and fine him - thw absolute BEST

Absolutely gorgeous. Everything about this place is beautiful. The wood around the cafe, it’s like a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of life in London. The staff there, who was alone, did his best and was so sweet and informative. The garden behind is pretty and the fact they pick their ingredients from there is such a bonus. Very sustainable, and makes you feel good that you’ve chosen to support it. The food? Delicious. So fresh, light and flavourful. The burrata salad was fab, especially due to the homemade pesto, and the coffee was so rich and smooth. This is an ideal space for working, studying, a quiet afternoon of reading, after a long walk in the woods, or even with a date. I’ll definitely have this on my list of places to come back to.
I finally decided to visit after seeing this place all over social media, and while the setting is beautiful, I have to say it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The café itself has a lovely, cosy charm tucked away in the woods — perfect for autumn walks and photos. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff were really welcoming and friendly, which I appreciated. That said, the prices are quite steep for what you get. The coffee was around £5 and honestly not much better than what you’d get at a regular café — pleasant, but nothing special to justify the cost or the long queue. I tried a muffin too, which was decent in flavour and texture, but again felt overpriced. Overall, it’s a nice experience if you’re nearby and want to enjoy the woodland setting, but I wouldn’t go out of my way or wait in a long line for it again. It feels like one of those places that’s become more of a social media spot than a genuinely great coffee destination.
Initially I was drawn to the cosy, quaint building and location. Unfortunately the cafe falls flat in every other aspect. Limited savoury food options (most seem to be vegetarian) and I had the most disappointing, plain chai latte of my life. It just tasted like milk. There were dirty cups and plates everywhere. It’s a shame such a gorgeous location is let down by poor management and drink quality.
Cute cafe which had a bit of a social media buzz - it has a lovely atmosphere and is great in autumn when it has a slight chill but with the sun. Coffee and pastries are good - not terrible but not something to write home about. However there are worse out there and for a quick bite and relaxation in the park, it’s great. Pricing is alright, not so expensive but neither cheap but that’s any cafe in London nowadays.
The location is lovely, such a cute escape from the city! Very busy on the weekends so prepare to queue. Pastries were quite average, but the brunch plates looked great (couldn’t get to try them as the wait for food was 45 mins on top of the 40 mins I queued to get my breakfast).
Cute and picturesque little cafe in the woods, gorgeous from the outside, lovely staff, but very long wait and food a little disappointing. Waited around 15-20 minutes in line to order, and then 20 minutes for food to arrive. It was lunchtime on a Saturday so might be quicker at quieter times. The burrata toastie was tasty and fresh but a bit soggy on the underside. The toilets had no toilet paper or hand towel. I think through that they are doing their best as a relatively small cafe with such high demand and popularity.
A Sunday afternoon outing to the park / woods and a cafe What a super busy cafe super crowded full of people The que is at least 30 min to buy your beverages and food Then another 10 minutes wait to prepare for the beverages and food The greatest thing is the atmosphere, the greens, the countryside look alike, the park Sadly it’s not comfortable to hang in here forever Hopefully weekdays would be better
Arrived on a wet Friday afternoon to escape the rain. As others describe, it's definitely cute, quaint and cosy looking from the road and woods but upon entering we were faced with messy and dirty tables (it wasn't too busy at this point), staff seemed tired and lack lustre - they definitely had the Friday feeling. We asked for black americanos and were told they had no mugs (see pic, very clearly have mugs) and we accepted this. Coffee scored a 1/10 and this wasn't due to it being served in a paper cup - how this came out of a machine is beyond me, I've had instant which tastes nicer. We sat and perserved through our coffee experience (£7 NOT well spent) and started looking at reviews to see a mixed bag. We're definitely the lower end of the scale, especially after noting one review which had been replied to about the state of cleanliness and blaming it on the mud brought in from the woods. As per the picture, there are very clearly many spiders and their webs inhabiting this coffee house come fancy squat. Tik Tok has done it's jobs in bringing people to something that definitely isn't worth it.

I’m so thrilled to share that I've made the decision to dive deeper into my yoga practice, and I can already tell I’ll never regret it! The instructor here is absolutely fantastic—perfect for yogis of every level. The studio itself is warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for growth. I've been practicing a lot with Giorgina, and she’s nothing short of amazing! I can't wait to see how much I can progress in this inspiring environment!
After a year out, I decided to join MoreYoga and I have fallen in love with yoga all over again. Brilliant teachers - Paul is excellent, as is Gloria, but they are all super professional and passionate. Huge studio space, feels like a proper community. Glad to be apart of it. Steph G.
I love the MoreYoga studio in Harringay. I have used a few different ones including the MoreYoga brand in other locations and this one is by far the best. The teachers are amazing, in particular Catherine, Luana and Sara. I have been doing about 5 classes of yoga in different styles in the last 6 months through a combination of Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin, all of which you can do regularly at the Harringay studio. It’s clean and quiet and away from the street which other studios aren’t so lucky to be.
One of the best moreyoga studios in my opinion - spacious, cosy and lots of nice natural light. Great range of classes and have everything you need. Highly recommend!
One of the best studios in London which is so much more affordable than other yoga studios. The teachers are really incredible, especially at the Haringey branch, but the best thing about the membership is that you can visit any of the studios around London. It is SO convenient squeezing a class in when you’re out and about around London. Also good quality mats!
MoreYoga Harringay is such a fantastic studio. The classes are varied and there are so many to choose from. Classes with Alexandra, Paul, Bibi and Georgiana have been incredible and have challenged me to do things I've never done before.
This yoga studio is perfect for beginners! Booking classes is so easy and accessible. I've especially been loving restorative, hatha, and yin yoga sessions!
You have great teachers and a very welcoming space. Please could you do some additional work to remove current mold around windows and ceiling?
