Attended a luncheon with 122 others. The fish terrine was a little dry. Chicken was perfect. Service and the views were memorable.
Beautiful day course in superb condition. Only issue is whether it's value for money. For me it was as we had the discount rate for hotel guests. The full headline price of 110 euros is a bit steep.
Both courses at Omaha Beach are wonderful golf courses with great views of the surrounding areas but the front 9 of the Manoir course is very challenging if you are pushing a trolley (especially the ninth) as it's very hilly. Thoroughly enjoyed playing though.
Stopped here for lunch while touring the D-Day beaches. Would enjoy getting to come back and play all 18 holes.
Very enjoyable course and want to play again. Course of two halves - front 9 have some great views whilst the back is more of a parkland course. Course is hilly but can be walked. Condition is reasonable and probably not as good as normal as they are cutting back on watering tee boxes due to water shortage. Some of the fairways are also struggling with a lack of rain. All the greens are in fair condition, but I struggled as they didn't seem to run true and around 8 or 9 stimp. Enjoyed the variety between the different holes. Large modern clubhouse with excellent views. Food & beverage was better than average, although a little expensive.
Às good as they say. La Mer is breathtaking both a physical grind as well as emotional. Bocage more traditional. Upkeep excellent. Course plays very well. Needs visual aids on the tees.
Good course. Well maintained. First 9 tricky. Second 9 easier. Nice staff. Well provided shop.
Wonderful golf by the sea ⛳️

What a wonderful fish market to visit. Tons of fresh fish, shellfish and more! The vendors were very tolerant of our pigeon French and gave us big smiles for trying. Bought Oysters, mussels, clams and prawns. Then came back a few days later for some from Turbot. Highly recommend!
Great fresh seafood and helpful vendors. Good value for money and great selection, the oysters were particularly good.
Great place to get fresh fish at great prices.
(Translated by Google) This market is a big reason why I'm here on vacation. The market and the fact that there is real fishing going on here and not just a marina are an important reason why I'm on holiday here for a week. It's lovely to come here, chat a bit, buy a fish or two and then cook it in the evening. They can also prepare it if you want. ❤️
Nice fresh products, bought some mussles and oysters, cheap compared to at home (Belgium). Mussles were kinda small, but very tasty, lots of meat. Oysters were excellent.

Great small museum. I love these museums that have relics still as they were found. Recommended if you have an interest in WW2 etc
Great museum that just like its artifacts is stuck in time. Wonderful assortment of historical D Day objects but the whole place needs refreshing. I still think it's a must see but it could be so much more.
Maybe too old-style for many modern day visitors as place screams for an upgrade. Its low-tech character, however, is refreshing change to more immersive direction of most museums. Fascinating story of the GI reunited with his kit which had been lost in his sunken tank after 41 years. Be aware, only open in summer months. Enjoyed seeing sleeping cat inside a mine!
Very interesting alternative museum with lots of recovered artifacts big and small. Definitely worth the visit.
Nice little museum with sea recovered artefacts. The opening times are irregular, we come every year to Normandy for Easter and this year was the first time ever i saw it opened. The collection was once great but not very well taken care of, corrosion is starting to damage some items. The collection was brought together by a guy with passion, you can see that. There is enough free parking, and a small souvenir shop that sells original ww2 items also.
Very disappointed with this experience. I felt very unwelcomed after arriving. The gate was not open in regular operation hours and the lady was rude. The museum hold great treasures from the see but everything is dirty and not not maintained. The place is very small and not worth the money.
Very interesting, unique compared to other museums with a fascinating story behind it.
I felt very unwelcomed after arriving. The lady was rude. I was sent away for taking pictures. It was dirty inside and not maintained. Do not recommended it!!

Hôtel Mercure Omaha Beach is a well-kept secret in the historic Omaha Beach region, offering a serene and comfortable stay. Situated next to a scenic golf course, the hotel pays tribute to history with holes named after D-Day heroes. The rooms are well-appointed, providing all essential amenities for a relaxing stay. The property is meticulously maintained, ensuring a peaceful environment away from the crowds. The lobby serves as a quiet and inviting lounge area, creating a cozy atmosphere for guests. The staff is known for their exceptional hospitality, always ready to assist with any needs. Additionally, the on-site restaurant offers a convenient dining option, especially since food choices in the surrounding area are limited. Guests can enjoy well-prepared meals at reasonable prices, making it a practical and enjoyable choice for visitors.
A Cozy Retreat with Charming Surroundings We had a genuinely pleasant stay at this hotel, which offered a relaxing and cozy atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was spotless, well-maintained, and notably peaceful—perfect for a restful escape. The overall environment was calm, with neatly kept grounds and an inviting layout, as can be seen from the balcony view. The facilities were well above expectations for a property of this category. The swimming pool was generously sized, and the small spa area—with a sauna and steam room—added a welcome touch of luxury and comfort. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. A notable highlight was the breakfast, served in the adjacent restaurant. The space itself was quiet, well-decorated, and comfortable, enhancing the morning experience. The food selection emphasized high-quality, locally sourced ingredients from the Bayeux region, which made it feel authentic and special. The service throughout our stay was warm and attentive, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience. It’s a hotel we would happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful and well-appointed place to stay.
Super friendly staff. Beautiful area. The restaurant is fantastic ♥️ The swimming pool and jacuzzi have warm water, but the shower by the pool is very cold. The hotel has a stylish design, but the rooms are unfortunately in urgent need of renovation, as they are not in very good condition. Pictures are attached.
Really enjoyed our stay for a couple of days while exploring local D-Day beaches and Bayeux. The hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful location with views down to the sea over the golf course. Service was excellent. Has an excellent heated swimming pool. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection. We also visited the restaurant which is in the same place as the breakfast and was very good.
Beautiful location in Normandy. My wife and I were on a tour with Beaches of Normandy. Breakfast was great every morning. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit challenging if you weren’t athletic. I hit my head a few times on the ceiling. I don’t think I damaged the wall. It definitely woke me up. Overall a nice hotel in a beautiful area.
Staff was very friendly, was a great location. Restaurant was good. Shower was very difficult and uncomfortable to use and housekeeping woke us up by entering our room at 8am. Very early! Would still recommend this hotel for visitors.
We have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years 1 star to 5 star. This is a nice hotel except for some major deficiencies. The positives: friendly and accommodating staff especially Penelope who was very friendly, beautiful rooms with a small balcony(privilege room), quiet room, comfortable bed, great air conditioning, clean property and room, good room lighting, great water pressure in sink and shower, great breakfast buffet, thick towels, kettle in room. The negatives: one of the waitstaff in the dinner restaurant was observed petting a dog and then proceeded to handle cheese with his bare hands without washing his hands, wifi signal is very bad and disappears as the signal is very weak, no elevator, bathtub shower is dangerous as it is extremely slippery and they do not have adequate grab bars, you will risk falling trying to get into the bathtub because the edge is high and once in you will soak the bathroom floor because the glass tub wall does not extend far enough to prevent the water from escaping, poor menu in restaurant and the food is absolutely horrible ( our first dinner meal was cheese ravioli that was served to us as a bowl of mush with the absolutely smallest ravioli I’ve ever seen and could not eat because it was cooked until it almost turned into a liquid and had a foul taste which made me almost vomit)- they should make the cook eat his own food so that he could see that he really needs to go somewhere to learn how to prepare food, their menu selection is also abysmally small, we should have known how bad the food is because the menu pages are dirty and wrinkled telling me they haven’t changed their menu for a long time. They really need to find a better cook or else close the restaurant. Bottom line- Go into town to find some decent food-YUCK!!! Overall this is a nice hotel with the above noted deficiencies. Just don’t plan on finding edible food in the restaurant.
Beautiful hotel, nice rooms and delicious food in their restaurant. Friendly staff Restaurant is very comfortable and offers fantastic views of the ocean and golf course, bit of a walk from hotel though Hotel is a bit of distance from any shops/restaurants

Beautiful, unique church. Absolutely must visit!
Impressive and unique. Worth to visit.
Interesting church, put an emphasis on the sea and sailors
Beautiful, quiet and unique.
