Ringed by pine trees, this cozy locale features a fine sandy beach & nearby cafes & bars.

Beautiful beach with lots of natural shade, and also a beautiful forest with a lake just next to the beach. Enjoyed every moment here. Beach bars are whatever tho but they have everything you need like coffees, drinks and food.
Beautiful beach with nice clear water, but the people ruin the whole experience. No free umbrellas, better buy one for 10 euros and use it in the free zone. By 2:00 pm 2,3 water taxis with 300 people each pour out and the whole idyll on the beach is ruined. The sand is fine, but full of thorns from the trees.
Beautiful sandy beach and clear blue water. There is a charge for the beds, local restaurant is nearby serving drinks and fantastic food. Sadly the toilets were not working so we had to walk 20 minutes to the other side of the beach. The beds are close together, its Europe so expect smokers and sadly that's all they do.
Considering this is one of the most popular beaches we had a great day here. We didn't get sunbeds but there are lots of trees where you can go in the shade. The water was great for snorkelling. There is nice beach bars too, changing places and a shower which is handy. The bus drops you right to the beach which was great.
Spent a day here didn’t use any of the sun bed’s saw €30 and €20 price points we set up camp near entrance to nature park sea was warm clear and we used shade of trees to keep cool Was relatively quiet one boat arrived in morning two in afternoon A beautiful beach
A go to beach, perfect sand, clean water, and its big so its never actually overcrowded. Its pricey cause its popular, a normall frape will cost you not less than 4.5 e, a beer 5-7 e (small-big) and sunbeds are 30e, but you can find place in the shade beneath the pine trees which are practically everywhere, and the smell they give is perfect.
Beach itself is very nice, pine trees, sand, crystal clear water. But infrastructure leaves much to be desired. No showers, no bathrooms, no even taps to clean legs when you go out of the beach. 30 euros per umbrellas and sunbeds and nothing from these necessary amenities. Food and drinks are OK, average prices, big parking is good too. 'Invasion' of tourists at about 2pm, 2-3 hundreds at least came from three water taxis and stayed until 5pm. When they left, the atmosphere became relaxing and quiet again. So, best time to come there is before noon.
We arrived at the beach by boat from Platanias. The transition from the pier to the beach is in very shallow water at the height of the feet, but there are rocks and stones below, so you have to take that into account. The beach has beds and umbrellas (2 beds + umbrella = 30 euros), an area where jet skis and SUPs are rented. There is a place to buy light food and drinks. We arrived before noon and the beach was quite busy.

My husband and I visited here twice and thought we should have been there more often. Classic ones were lovely and their signature cocktails were also wonderful (Skyfall and Dragon Breath are my favourite. Flamingo was very pretty but super sweet)! The barman and the front-of-house are such lovely people. Don't miss out this beautiful place when you're in Skiathos😉
La Bussola is easily one of the best spots on the island. The drinks are on another level — crafted to perfection. The bartenders are top-notch: super friendly and always spot-on with what you need. Cool atmosphere, great music. Highly recommended!
This is the best bar in koukounaries with the most amazing service from tel boy and all the bar staff, the best cocktails we have had all holiday, great atmosphere and great music and laughs all night. Thanks to u all for making our evening fabulous 👌 👏 👍 we will be returning to skiathos for the best holiday and bar. Thanks again tel boy. !!!
Best bar in Skiathos. Amazing cocktails and friendly staff. Went nearly every evening for our whole two week holiday.
The best bar I’ve ever been to. The guys on the bar were friendly, welcoming and great people. Fantastic music, great range of drinks and a brilliant vibe all round. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Lovely little cocktail bar, service is great and really friendly. Voodoo was a standout cocktail for me The flamingo was good but a little sweet for me.
Stopped for a drink only but super lovely guy serving who made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed a delicious Greek cold beer and lovely setting.
Very pretty little bar, good music, friendly staff and the best cocktails that me and my girlfriend tried during our stay in Skiathos. We found ourselves pretty much coming every day.

Fantastic family run business, I have waterskied from many times over the last 15 years. Always reliable and friendly.Best water spots center in skiathos island.
There should be a zero star. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They don't know their job. It is better to avoid it because otherwise one puts oneself in danger
If i have the chance put 0 stars I would put it for sure!!! The worst watersports that i have ever try in my life. The staff very rude and unprofessional. I rent a jet sky last year there and I pay for 20 min, but after 3 min we fell down from the jetsky and the key of the jetsky was keeping to us so the jetsky turn off. We ride again the jetsky and put the key again and want to continue, but it did not turn on again. We wait 15 min in the middle of the sea and nobody come and help us with that. When our time finnish, the jetsky turn on again and they call us to return because our time finnish like they say us. We went out and when I inform the staff for that that we just do 3 min and the jetsky did not turn on, they say justifications that it was not they fault and stupid things like this. When I instand that of course it was they fault that they left us 15 min in the middle of the sea they say that we do that and that have a remote control that staff can turn off jetsky from distance and dont allow it to turn on again with a justification that we fall down so that's why they don't allow us turn on again the jet sky. They are all lyers and very rude staff. The worst experience that ever have there with ALL the staff, so I don't recomand anyone go try this place NEVER!!! I try few days later the first watersports that was in koukounaries beach and was much better and friendly. I suggest no one to try Salto watersports ever, is just the worst!!!
My two young sons wanted to go for a ride on a speedboat during our stay in Skiathos. Our hotel recommended talking to the guys here. They were really helpful, and despite the ride on a speedboat not being something they get asked for much they were more than happy to oblige. My sons absolutely loved it, so much so we came back for a 2nd ride a couple of days later. The 2 speedboat rides absolutely made my sons holiday, and the guys that work here are all fantastic and were brilliant with my sons.
we had a fun time with them, eveything was fine
The jet skis have a soft limiter (they make about 50% of full power in dedicated area) and no one told us about it before payment.
The youngish greek guy with a slight south african sounding accent has no people skills, he's rude and obnoxious and from what I've heard this is his general attitude, I spent 2 weeks in Koukanaries I gave him my money once then moved to the other water sports at the entrance of Koukanaries ( older bloke with long hair) respectful guy who won my business a further 5 times in the 2 weeks.
Outstanding professionals and so kind to help all my family members, thank you Zaki, Danos and all Salto Team! You’re the best!
