Nice place for family. A 30 min walk from nearby train station. Although bus is available every hour which takes you to the gate of Myra waterfalls we walked through dense forest. It was pleasant
Beautiful nature as always here, just nothing open, not even the small entrance shop. Outside the season I understand,.and you can buy the tickets on the machine anyways.
It’s a small waterfall. You should save your ticket so that to reach the top of it in and to see the lake. I lost my ticket, so I couldn’t pass the gate at the top. Be careful. There is a caffe near the entrance. It’s not expensive but quite good.
Very lovely and worthwhile little hike. Lots of roots and rocks that act as stairs the higher up the trail you go, so wear proper shoes! Waterfall area has a very well built boardwalk path. Climbing up is nice! Gasthaus has delicious food and night time live music! There are plenty of clean bathrooms along the paths, even at the very first parking area. Bring your puppers! Floor and top views in pics!
Loved the hike! The area is beautiful and our 5 year old was able to do the first hike up to the playground area
There is a 7 eur fee to enter, but it’s beautiful!
Nice place for a hike, pretty easy for someone who hikes occasionally -> doable with active children
It is very beautiful and an amazing place to enjoy hiking with water and nature around. The sound of water is just magical and comfortable. The way from both sides is very beautiful. The air is full of humidity, and the colour of nature and stone makes it even more attractive and beautiful. We were on the weekend there . There were lots of people, we still enjoyed it but I would prefer to visit in on weekdays . We were with a car 🚗 there . It was very difficult to find a parking place . We waited for almost 20 minutes to find a free place. For the people with cars, I would also say to visit this place on weekdays. This place is amazing for a picnic, hiking, swimming and for kids is this place also lots of fun.

I enjoyed a hike in Steinwandklamm a lot. It is not hard to make but bridges, ladders make it very exiting. A view on mountains is breathtaking
We loved this. 2 options so wimpy me could take the easier one. Perfect.
Very nice hiking but the location is incorrect. It is not adjacent to Myra falls, there is another hiking between two places
Calm and quiet place to recharge.
(Translated by Google) The Steinwandklamm is a true paradise for all nature and adventure lovers! Our excursion began with the via ferrata, which offered us breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The well-secured passages and the exciting challenges of the via ferrata were simply fantastic. For us it was an incredible feeling to climb up the rocks and enjoy the fresh air. Crossing the Türkenloch was the icing on the cake of our tour! The impressive rock formations and the shimmering lights in the tunnel were simply magical. It's true that this part of the gorge is not for those who suffer from altitude, but for everyone else it is an unforgettable experience. The combination of adventure and breathtaking nature makes the Steinwandklamm an absolute must! We can't wait to come back and explore more corners. Big praise to the operators for the excellent care of the system and the safety instructions! Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking for a bit of thrill and a lot of beauty!

The paths are well-secured, and there are occasional challenging climbs (e.g., at the Türkenloch). A wonderful natural experience, highly recommended!
(Translated by Google) I've known this gorge for over 40 years, and hiking through it is still as much fun as it was back then! One of the most beautiful destinations near Vienna ❤ A lot has changed, of course. At the entrance, there's now an automatic gate with a ticket machine. However, due to frequent misuse, this one only sells adult tickets. Since we were traveling with a child, we got our tickets from the nice old gentleman right across the street. If no one is around, he's probably already on the trail! Please be patient! Admission is currently (2025) 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for children. The little one even got a chocolate treat :-) The path first leads past a farm with goats, chickens, and a dog. But then the wooden paths begin. There's a more difficult path with ladders that can only be taken uphill. The almost 8-year-old loved it. I preferred the stairs with my 78-year-old mother. The path is a beautiful forest trail. Soft from last year's leaves, but also with lots of rocks. You still have to be able to walk safely and wear sturdy shoes! Otherwise, it's dangerous. We were really lucky with the weather, as it was sunny but not too hot. Unfortunately, there was hardly any water in the streambed, but that wasn't too surprising at the end of June. However, we found a large number of future fire salamanders in the water. Some still had gills, some already had small hind legs. We really enjoyed it. And we can highly recommend the snack station right by the entrance/parking lot.
(Translated by Google) It's beautiful! There's plenty of peace and quiet, and the nature is a dream. The hike isn't very strenuous and can even be done with children.
