Located beside actual railroads, this Korail Railway Museum is the best that South Korea has to peek at it's rail history. It's actually really huge and diverse in its collection, although there isn't much on high speed rail (mostly indoor exhibits on the KTX). The outdoor displays has lots of trains and some iconic ones which even the US presidents has rode in before. At its center of the outdoor displays is two presidential trains that look almost the same, but one is made by Japan and the other is copied by the Korean after as they have the industrial capabilities to produce their own train. Both beautiful trains.

This museum is quite far from subway station by foot (~ 15 mins walking) so it’s better to come by car. It has both inside and outside display areas. I spent around 2 hours here and really enjoyed my time. They also have inside and outside toilet areas so it’s very convenient.
