Lovely visit here on the royal estate, plenty of car parking which was £5 for the day, the house and grounds are very well maintained as you would expect, downstairs in the house is interesting with things left just as the royal family like them, shame you can't look upstairs but still worthwhile, we walked to the church which you can enter and purchase various souvenirs if you wish. There are plenty of toilets and a good tearoom too,we had a very enjoyable day😀
This is a very big estate and has lots for people to see and do depending on budget too, The car part is drive in pay on exit we paid £10 for the day. The outer ground are then free to walk around and there is a very nice kids play park. We used the restaurant and this was very nice and felt posh which i liked as after all you are on Royal ground now. The food was very good and the service was good too i would recommend. We paid the extra to go into the Gardens and House which for two adults and one child was £54. The Gardens are well looked after and worth a walk around the stables host a cafe were we did partake in a coffee and cake stop. The views of the house are very good and looks very nice. The House we did the tour which was shorter then expected as its a big house but we did not see it all, its a walk thought tour with people in each room telling you about each one or you can get an audio head set at £5. The rooms are as expect posh its ice to see where the king and our past queen spend and spent Christmas together and the dining room were they have Christmas dinner. The house has a lot to see and seams to have a Asian theme to it. Sadly you are not able to take photos or video inside which is a shame. It was well worth a visit.
A fabulous few hours spent here, a full day is definitely recommended. We saw a few rooms in the house, no photos allowed which was a shame as we couldn't even purchase postcards of the inside of the house at the shop. A wonderful jade collection and outstanding decor. Stunning gardens. Interesting Fire Engine museum and a collection of Royal cars through the ages. Some lovely staff who were more than happy to give you information, a couple of rather curt members too.
Lovely park and castle. Really friendly and helpful staff. The tour of the castle is quite short - but still lots to see and the staff are more than willing to share stories about what are in the rooms. Only down side is that the cafe in the stables has quite a small assortment and price vs quality is also not the best.
Divine place to visit. The cream tea is a must, superb, the best we have had. Outstanding staff with a passion for the estate and devotion to their majesties. We travelled from Bristol for this visit, so worth the travelling time. Do pay the extra to visit all areas. The church has so many family personal touch remembrances. The staff actually make the estate a 5 star visit, extremely knowledgeable, so friendly and approachable. Everyone genuinely seemed so happy and helpful.
Fantastic place to take the dog and our young grandchildren. Very pleasant seating areas, food available from the cafe, or nice to take a picnic. Plenty of water taps and drink bowls for dogs. Just did the Luminate trail which was amazing.
Lovely garden and estate, lots to see and to spend the day relaxing in good company or to meditate alone. The price to see the grounds is £17 and a bit more if you wanna see inside the palace. The stable has a nice café with cakes and a variety of drinks at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.
This place is lovely,we explored the gardens and heard about some of the changes the King has introduced in them. We had a chance to visit inside and see some of the rooms the Royal Family use when in residence, just amazing. The staff are very polite & knowledgeable.

Absolutely stunning little church with Royal connections. You are able to sit in the pews where the Queen and her family sat, and where the King and his family sit. The altar and pulpit are stunning. Photos don't really do justice to the splendour and atmosphere.
Lovely Royal church free access on the Sandringham Estate
Beautiful church, spectacular inside but smaller than expected. Working church with local congregation, free to visit.
Beautiful church full of history. Silver pulpit, alter and cross along with Beautiful statues and memorizing stained glass. Remembering past Royals.
St Mary's Magdalene is a parish church located in the grounds of Sandringham. The church dates from the 16th century but was restored in 1855 and 1890. It's still used by the royal family when they stay at Sandringham. It's small but has beautiful stained glass windows.
A small church located within the Sandringham Estate. The estate is owned by the British Royal family and has been the residence to for generations of monarchs since 1862. Whilst small the church is rich in history and is the church where the Royal family would typically have their Christmas service. As you would expect there is a lot of Royal history in the church itself as well as in the graveyard. The silver altar is said to be made with over a ton of silver! Lots of great workmanship to be seen as well as some stunning stained glass. Absolutely worth a visit whether you’re a royalist or not.
Lovely church in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate. Was pleasantly surprised by the features of the house and garden tour.
This beautiful 16th century church is close to the garden entrance on the Sandringham Estate. The Royal Family attend services here when they are at Sandringham, and it's also where some royal christenings have taken place over the years. The church is free to enter. Built of warm brown carrstone and set in a leafy churchyard, it has a lovely rustic feel to it on the outside that certainly didn't prepare me for the richness of the interior! The elaborate chancel ceiling and the silver altarpiece, pulpit and processional cross are truly magnificent. I also loved the medieval stained glass. There are a lot of interesting royal memorials inside the church and a couple of royal graves outside. Bought an informative and beautifully illustrated guidebook for only £3 at the small gift shop at the entrance. The lady in the shop was both friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing with uninterupted panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The accommodation is on several levels, so not for those with mobility issues. The lounge is on the 2nd floor and doubles up as a bedroom, kitchen/diner on ground floor with wc and shower. Double bedroom on 1st floor. Bathroom on 3rd floor. Access to rooftop via a cast iron spiral staircase.
It’s a Landmark Trust building, people used these buildings and they make a human history. Appleton tower was constructed to provide cleaner water for Sandringham. Opened to staying guests about 50 years ago. It is old and over time has become a home for many little creatures, currently has thousands of hibernating ladybirds. The views are terrific, you are above the trees and have a full uninterrupted panorama. Accommodating up-to 4 in reasonable comfort, toilets / bathrooms are 73 stairs apart and it’s 120 ish (you lose count a lot - try it yourself) to the roof.
Fantastic four days with family, great fun. A lot of stairs which did show us how unfit we all were. Beautiful inside, and the views are stunning. Dogs loved every moment
Lovely views from the roof and a well furnished interior, with very comfortable beds, soft towels and a large bath to relax in.
Totally unique place to stay. You need to be fit for all the stairs. We loved it.
Busy pub up a side street. Well prepared scallops, worth a slight wait....
