A delicious selection of white wine. Very beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant. Excellent flammkuchen. Lovely staff in the tasting room.
I was warmly welcomed to the wine shop in Sasbachwalden and several of the winery’s premium winea (must try is the Spaturgunder From Alte Reben). All of them were fantastic and I was happy to leave with couple of bottles, but definitely will return for more when I come by car next time! Then I took a walk in the wine yard and enjoyed the scenery. I would recommend it as a great experience for every wine lover!
Very Interesting winery with very good tasting wines and more
Loved Alde Gott Winzer wine! My mother and I was visiting my son in Karlsruhe,Germany and came across Alde Gott winery. Loved it so much having wine delivered to my son for Christmas.
Went to a tasting there and it was a beautiful experience. Tastings take place at 3pm every Saturday (note to non-Germans: they only speak German) and are about an hour long. You get to try 3 wines and they take you on a tour in the basement portion where the wine making magic happens. Left feeling very satisfied, and the shop upstairs was very nice, too. They have a great selection of wines overall.
Walked in sweaty and wearing hiking clothes. No fuss about how i looked. I got to try some wines i was interested in and then made my purchases. Excellent
Found out it is dog friendly on wagfriendly.app
1 hour wsiting to get served, and half of the tables were empty…

Literally some of the best salads that we’ve ever had. The schnitzel is also incredibly tender and their homemade yogurt sauces, falafel and other classically Turkish additions to the menu are bursting with subtly layered flavours and careful textures. The restaurant is owned and operated by one family and they are always courteous and extremely attentive to our needs. Ourselves, our children and every guest that we’ve ever brought with us in the past two years has always left fully satisfied and without a single complaint! Love it!
Very chill place. Very tasty food. They speak English! Most recommended for a sunny lazy lunch with friends.
Brilliant fun. Well maintained course. Variable difficulty. Huge enjoyment for all ages. Tip - bring cash as they don’t take cards. Thanks to the owner who helped us with great hospitality. Make sure you buy an ice cream too!! (originally posted Aug 2019 - will update on our return tomorrow!)
This is a cafe with crazy golf, in England we probably would avoid visiting. But here it is in a lovely setting. It has friendly staff and serves good food. We have eaten and spent a pleasant evening drinking hereon two occasions. Worth a visit.
Very friendly staff, as a tourist you feel very welcome here. The food was good but as Belgian the fries could be fried a little bit longer. The minigolf was very fun and very good maintained. I would recommend!
First time playing mini golf ever so can't really compare to other places. The course was well-looked-after but the areas meant for navigating the ball were a bit crooked at times and could use some maintenance here and there. The price was really low though (we paid 3 euros per person) so overall I'd say it's definitely worth it.
Brilliant place food is cheap and good quality. Golf for the kids and a few easy beers. Staff are very nice and relaxed.
It was nice a bit expensive, though. The kids loved the mini golf trail (extra charge) and the omega

Love this mossy slice of heaven🥰 so green with beautiful sounds of water falling the whole time! Easy hike but sure footedness required👍🏼 not accessible for strollers.
Really crowded considering this waterfall is nothing big or very impressing. However the walk is very nice and not difficult. You can walk as far as you like and then turn back. There are a few spots to put your legs in the (ice cold) water :)
Free parking next to start of trail, 45 mins to get to the top, but well worth it as you see lots of mini waterfalls along the way. We have a travel guide to the northern black forest on our YouTube channel, Pack lunch and Travel. If you love waterfalls like us, check it out
Pretty set of waterfalls near Sasbachwalden. Easy to access but take care of the roads at both ends of the trail.
A nice path that goes up to the source of the waterfall. Amazing experience in the Black Forest! It's very scenic, perfect for nice shots. Between April and October there are fountains available with schnapps, but since we are in December, not possible to find them. A pity! Be aware to use appropriate shoes. The wooden bridges are extremely slippery!
I'm currently staying here, the name waterfalls should not be used as it more like cascades, its very pretty a good hike to the top but if you go half way there's an easy walk back to the car park with 3 shnappsbrunners on the way down, very rewarding and the views are amazing
A lot of bridges across the water, very good place to hike. We were in a hurry, so just walked half an hour. But the scenery was very nice from the very beginning. There is a small parking lot outside the entrance of the trail.
A nice set of waterfalls coming down the valley. You can park at the bottom and walk up. Probably about a kilometer long up. Very green and quite pretty. Walk ways over the waterfalls.

I've just spent two wonderful nights at this small, family-run hotel and I absolutely loved it. The Oberle family and their staff were friendly and immensely hospitable. There's a lovely garden and a sauna. I can't wait to go back.
This quaint and beautiful old style quiet Hotel is much more than just a place to sleep. Their food is phenomenal and they have outdoor pizza oven, wines, beer, and a gorgeous view on their outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards. The owners are polite, staff helpful, fun, clean, inside restaurant, snacks, and the rooms are very comfortable. The town is walkable with shops, hiking, biking, and lots to do. Plus fresh fruit everywhere, flowers, and grape vineyards as far as the eye can see. Great amenities, quiet, safe, sweet town, and its like going back in time. I absolutely love it here and will tell everyone they must stay at Naturhoyel hotel and enjoy this German old style town but up to date on everything. I saw kids playing as the adults if all ages laughing and making friends with strangers and I was one of them. We are all low meeting for breakfast in the hotel. I can’t brag enough about this place. So impressed. Tell them you heard about it from this review. I get nothing for it but would be good for them to know. Also, the prices are very reasonable. You’ll make this a place to visit from now on.
Holzwurm is a beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Sasbachwalden! Our room had an amazing view of the surrounding vineyards. There is also easy access to walking paths to town or up into the hills. The team at Holzwurm is also excellent: Eugen is great with guests and has the best recommendations for day trips and activities. Patrick is their incredible chef, and I highly recommend trying the flammkuchen that they make in their outdoor pizza oven! I cannot wait to visit Sasbachwalden again, and I hope to stay at Holzwurm then as well.
Eugen and all other hotel members made us feel welcomed and their service was outstanding. We arrived really late at night and they made sure we find our way around. The Apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our vacation, has a great view and its location is great. We highly recommend it!
The Hotel Holzwurm is an absolute recommendation! the house is nicely located a little bit up the hill in Sasbachwalden, a cute village in the northern black forest. Restaurants are in walking distance and excellent quality . The rooms, breakfast, service and kindness of the personnel and the owners is exemplary. If you don't know yet the excellent german breakfast culture, here is a place to experience it. We certainly will return ! Thanks very much for this great stay.
Wonderful area, wonderful hotel, wonderful views, top cleanliness, good access, lovely friendly people/owner..... simply top
Small, but very nice, old house renovated with a good taste. Absolutely perfect location.
We did the winecaching tour - awesome views and great wine!
