An absolutely wonderful day out! I'd reccomend going early as it gets quite busy on the weekend. The ticket also includes the nearby 'castle' which has some interesting historical pieces. Parking was free with the ticket (13€ for an adult), too! They also had a lovely shop, as well as lots of interesting information about the life cycle of butterflies. It's a magical place, definitely worth a visit!
Nice little butterfly garden. The entry cost 13 euros, which is a little expensive just for the garden, but with the ticket you can visit also the castle.
It's a beautiful house with butterflies, birds, turtles and insects. Lots to see, and the plants are nice too. Some people were touching the butterflies which isn't good for them...
Perfect with kids and also as an adult plenty of beautiful butterflies and other cute animals - one of the best butterfly houses I've seen so far.
Although the place wasn't very large, the experience was amazing. The butterflies are within an enclosure that guests can walk around while the butterflies flew around people and the entire closure living their lives. There were turtles and families of mini quails which roamed the enclosure, running through the flowers and bushes. You can watch them feed themselves with the well supplied petri dishes of food dedicated to them, and butterflies on the fruits provided for the butterflies. Guests can sit and enjoy the serenity of the place, although it can get pretty warm. So be prepared to take off any thick jackets or clothing. Although the entry fee seems pricey, it also includes entry to the museum of the royal family that lived in the town in the past, which was about a street away from the Butterfly garden. The entry fees maintain the butterfly enclosure and the insects and animals that live in it that are not adapt to the German weather. Hence, the price is worth paying for to experience an artificial climate made for exotic species.
Very nice place to visit especially with kids. Quite crowded on Sunday during our visit. One star off as payment by credit card is not possible...
An interesting side trip from a Rhine river cruise. The royal family that owns the place was good enough to come out and meet our group.
A really nice place to go to, if you like insects. But they have also some interesting plants, turtles, small chicken, frogs and lizards. But is manly about butterflies. There was an exebition about Ethiopian herbs, and it was free. There are also other exebition depending on the time. There is also a cafe next to the garden. Out side is a play ground perfect for kids to play.

A real fairy-tale palace and the castle has the most breathtaking views! The park is stunning and the butterfly house is very exciting. The beautiful abbey is very much worth extending your trip to this jewel on the river Rhein. If you are up to it the hike Rheinsteig will take you to an old Roman watchtower along the Limes that goes through Sayn guarding the border of the Roman Empire. There is so much culture is hidden away in this little town of Sayn.
Bendorf - Sayn. We booked 2 nights in Guest House Abtei - Sayn. Guest House is partly in renovation but it was a good decision booking 2 nights. No reception in the Guest House but it was well organised for the checked in Guest. Breakfast is served in Restaurant Lindenhof , the best breakfast we had during our last few holiday.
Worth a visit as included in the price with the butterfly garden. I wish there were more kids friendly and interactive exhibits. Payment by credit card not possible
This is a really good place to and they have information sheets for different languages they give you all the information about the historical place the staff were extremely Pleasant one thing to bear in mind is the little ferry boat that takes you across to the Castle only departs every half hour and it takes at least an hour and a half to go around and have a look at everything but you could spend longer. helpful to know when you're paying for parking
This is a magical place! One of the best examples of German Gothic Revival architecture. I cannot wait for the terrace to be rebuilt over the road to give the Palace a sumptuous entrance to the park.
Lovely butterfly garden, in the castle's surrounding green park. The museum however does not fully reward it's entry fee.
We visited the butterflies only. Worth every penny if you like butterflies. Not very large but very clean!
Very nice place.

Outdoor Activities

I recently visited this kletterpark with my friends, and it was an amazing adventure! The park had a great variety of routes to choose from, and we were able to find options that were suitable for both beginners and more experienced climbers. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided us with all the necessary equipment and safety instructions. We had an absolute blast climbing through the treetops and completing the different challenges along the way. Overall, the kletterpark was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and thrilling outdoor adventure. It's a great activity for families and friends alike, and the good service and variety of route options really made the experience even better.
Such fun! Regardless of your age and climbing ability, they have many options and you can climb as much (or little) as you want within a given time rather than being able to only complete a single parkour.
The best open space climbing park for kinds and adults. I was there several times with friends, and every time this was unforgettable. A lot of parkours of different difficulty level, zip-lines and even free-fall platforms, here is everything you need to entertain.
A very nice park, you can find something for all Group ages, good for team building and also for adrenaline junkies with a 15m jump and a long zip line. Also for children, finally they can move and learn some coordination skills. The staff is very friendly and understanding, also with an English introduction. The price is quite high tho and it happens that you wait a while. Will go there more often.
This is an excellent place for kids and adults alike. So much fun. Such a challenge for all ages. Unfortunately I have not have a simmer experience in the USor anywhere else. I'm sure they have similar spots in all of Germany. What an amazing place.
Very fun staff is nice and masive climbing parkours would recommend
Awesome sport for all. Must visit in koblenz

(Translated by Google) The two of us paid €25 for the combination ticket. There is almost nothing to see of the castle itself. Here only the foundation walls from the outside and the castle chapel were restored. The museum is not very big and we were rather bored. There were a few iron stoves, iron furniture and wedding dresses of the noble family on display. The butterfly garden is a greenhouse with a souvenir shop. There are a lot of butterflies flying around you and there are also birds, turtles and great plants. The ironworks is an empty hall where you can read about how work used to be done. Sorry dear Sayner, but you should try a little harder here and reconsider the prices. For €25, we were hardly offered anything here and a Sunday trip was definitely not worth it. We were disappointed.
(Translated by Google) Great restoration of the Sayner Hütte. However, it is currently under further construction until at least the end of 2021. Until then, most of the exhibits will not be on display. But it's still interesting, only the entrance fee of 6 EUR is a bit too high.
(Translated by Google) It may sound boring, but it's absolutely not! It's exciting to find out what can be delicately made with supposedly coarse iron. Definitely worth a visit!
(Translated by Google) Lots of beautiful exhibits that you can hardly believe were cast. Also a lot of information on the topic. Afterwards, be sure to visit the butterfly house.
(Translated by Google) Interesting exhibition, beautiful architecture and great Christmas market with regional products.
(Translated by Google) Rather disappointing. Only a few exhibits and explanations. Not worth it. (Original) Eher enttäuschend. Nur wenige Exponate und Erklärungen. Lohnt sich nicht.
