Lovely coffee shop/bar managed by a friendly Dutchman with prices on the more affordable side. Always compare the price of coffee (espresso, not Greek Coffee) in Greece to have a sense of the pricing. The views are amazing (the church, the small gulfs) as it is positioned high up on a building and it’s accessible only via stairs. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy. Also a bit of change vs the completely Greek/Italian menus offered in Amoopi.

This is how you do it. Keep it simple, but good. They have a variety of toasts, and they are delicious and simple. The milkshakes are very tasty also. Cheap and a nice view overlooking the bay. And the drinks are well made. You can tell they enjoy what they are doing. Light lunch and hit the beach again, love it

Skala Bar is the most beautiful place for me! I love to sit there and get lost in watching the endless blue ocean and enjoy the magnificent view. I take a sip from my great Mojito or Mai Tai and chat with the owner Tom. You can feel that this wonderful place is not only about making money but that Tom has realized his own dream here. The drinks are served in very outstanding glasses, which Tom collected everwhere in the world. I LOVE it here so much! Thank you Tom for this wonderful place. ❤️

What a little beauty of a place Skala is. I was more smitten when I saw owner Tom’s array of beautiful eclectic glassware and crockery( as a collector myself) Tom’s menu is simple but works (great coffee!) his warm, relaxed and friendly approach is what brought us back many times. Lovely helpers too!! We’re missing this place already.

Votsalakia Beach is a rocky but very beautiful beach in Karpathos. The water is crystal clear, making it perfect for snorkeling and exploring underwater. A peaceful spot with amazing scenery, ideal if you enjoy nature and the sea.

Nice pebbeld beach mostly organised with sunbeds and umbrellas(there's-a small space on the left side of the beach near the rocks enough for a few towells; also a small cove next).The water is clear, offers good visibility;underwater there are shoals of small/midsized fish, plenty of rock formations to explore...it's a bit steep getting to around 4m and further to about 7m. Worth exploring but mostly in the morning or mid day...after 5 p.m the visibility is pretty poor.

Beautiful beach but not suggested to visit especially in high season. There is no place even to leave your towel, how to enjoy it? Ideal for snorkelling and swimming in windy days but better to avoid, no free space only parasols! People who manage parasols demand the payment even late in the evening, not to mention the fact that their attitude is not very polite. Not recommend to visit in high season as it becomes full with people very early. Protected from wind, byt without a free space for people who don't want to pay umbrella.

Votsalakia beach it is one of the nicest beaches in karpathos. It took its name from the plenty of pebbles that has. It is one of the highlight beaches of karpathos and it is appropriate for chilling!

The beach is beautiful and easy to access. It is also well protected from the wind. I would give it 4 stars if it wasn’t for the umbrellas issue: the entire beach extension is covered by umbrellas and sun-beds from the taverna (i wonder if it is even legal)

i love that beach! not too big and not too crowded. this beach is a shingle beach with very soft pebblem and wonderful clear water - perfect for snorkeling! if you prefer sand beaches i can recommend the beach next to it in the north. it's an traditional sand beach to build castles with you kids
