I love this place, it changed my life. I was about to have a divorce and the swan made everything okay again. My wife took away my kids (I won’t bore you with the details). After a spicy and intense night at the swan me and my wife forgot all of our problems. (I won’t please you with the details) There was something special about the atmosphere at this bar. Now, several years later, me and my wife are happily together again and I can see my kids again. Cheers to the Swan, I LOVE this place!! Ps. Plenty of disabled parking available 👍
One of the worst places I have ever been too. The Bouncers specifically do not care and will feel all over you making you feel extremely uncomfortable. What a horrible time I had at this bar I would not recommend it or its prices or late hours to anyone.I rarely write bad reviews, but this place earned it. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was off—unwelcoming and chaotic. We stood at the bar for nearly 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though it wasn’t that crowded. When the bartender finally came over, they seemed annoyed to be doing their job. The drinks were overpriced and watered down. My “signature cocktail” tasted like flat soda with a splash of cheap liquor. My friend’s beer was warm, and when we asked for a cold one, we were met with an eye-roll and told “that’s all we’ve got.” The music was way too loud for a place that was half-empty, and don’t even get me started on the bathrooms—filthy, no toilet paper, and a sink that barely worked. Overall, this place feels like it’s coasting on a reputation it no longer deserves. Poor service, bad drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you want to leave. We won’t be back.
My girlfriends high heels had given her blisters on her feet, Fatima (one of the women working as security at the door) was very polite to go and give her some plasters, this was very kind!! Bartenders on the other hand weren’t very hospitable. I received a pint which was completely flat, when I took it back to the bar we were ask who served it. The one who had poured it wasn’t there anymore, they seemed reluctant and were quite rude whilst giving me a replacement. Other than that it is a decent bar with a good atmosphere (some great Irish music)
Absolutely horrified that the managers do not care about the disgusting behaviour of their bouncers and clearly their own reputation. A friend of mine was basically assaulted by one of their female bouncers and their response is that they’ll give them more “training”, surely if you cared at all about the safety of your customers you would sack them! Especially after a ridiculous amount of bad reviews.
I'd heard good things about The Swan so decided to head there on a Saturday night and I was shocked at the behaviour of one of the bouncers towards me. I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable when I was searched by one of the female bouncers there. The level of discomfort was something I'd not felt before & I certainly won't be going back here & will be telling others to steer clear too.
Absolutely shocking venue - iphone 17 was stolen by a member of staff who decided to take it home for two weeks, and then pretend it was ‘found’ on a Saturday night. Can’t get hold of anyone, phone just rings and take 3 days to respond to emails. Plus 20 quid entry on a Saturday night is outrageous. Rather sit in a 12 x 6 prison cell over going to this dump ever again👍🏻customer service idiot taking back shots over being remotely helpful
Security are awful. Glitch in the system made them think my brother’s security had been doubled scan. After a call with the police to discuss identity fraud , all the security continued to blow us off. Even after seeing a Photo of the bloke that supposedly used his ID, the managers next call of action was to permanently ban us from the establishment. After standing outside for an hour, being shunned off by security we finally managed to get the guy who supposedly used his ID. Turns out they had the same first name and that was It…….. after continued conversation with security and the mangers we got the most half hearted apology. For compensation for wasting an hour of our time and permanently banning us, they gave my brother free entry and said ‘my bad’. Such a poor example of security and saftey. Shame on all staff, and the neglect they persisted upon.
My friend and I came to this pub on Saturday night at around 21:00 to ask if the pub was open and if we could use the loo. Before we could even ask a man who worked at the pub came out round the back and shouted at us to 'GET OUT'. We had not done anything except for look to someone who we could ask if the pub was open. Only a bit later did the bouncer tell us the pub was not yet open. This disgusting and unjustified response from the other staff member was incredibly rude and appeared to me to be racially motivated. I truly believe if I had been white, the same reaction would not have been made. I believe he perceived myself as 'sketchy' hence his rude and violent reaction, even though we had done nothing wrong. I would not every recommend anyone to come here if the staff act so openly rude.

First visit here last Sunday and we really like it here. The adventure golf is fun and we have also really enjoyed the foot golf which is at the same place - there is a decent coffee booth with pastries and ice cream on offer too. Stuff are nice and serves quick. Free parking 🅿️ with plenty of space. Reasonably priced as well. Kids enjoyed it. I recommend
Had a great afternoon enjoying a round of mini golf and game of foot golf with a small group of younger children. All the staff are incredibly friendly and the coffee is great too!
I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages! I took our family support group here back in June for some golf and ice-cream. They all had an amazing time and nothing was too much trouble. The staff put some tables together for us and were very attentive making sure the children were very well looked after. We will certainly be back - lovely place, lovely coffee & ice cream and lovely staff. What’s not to like 🙂
This was a lovely little find! I was trying to find somewhere different to take the little ones as they had a day off school because of the strikes. We Played Footgolf and Mini Golf. Was really nice to be in the fresh air and lovely green space playing football essentially. The mini golf was nice too and they both got a hole in one once! Music is also played around the mini golf which I thought was a great touch to the atmosphere! Young man who greeted us and showed us around was great and very friendly and jokey which is always nice. Free Plentiful Parking & it's around £7 pp. Cafe, Seating area & toilets available here.
We had a game of foot golf and mini golf today with our family. Great value for money. Such nice staff they were absolutely fantastic with my cousin who has additional needs. Lovely ice cream. All in all was a really enjoyable little afternoon out. Highly recommend!!
We went for the first time yesterday and I’ve come away needed to write a review because it was the most friendly, fun round of miniature golf and it’s only up the road! A little fairyland course, set in a lovely big green space with a delicious cafe, gentle music playing and very clean and tidy. The best £7 (plus delicious drinks from very friendly staff ) we’ve ever spent! We will be back!
well worth a visit with kids or mini golf enthusiasts the pitch and putt is a good little 9 hole - lovely location and nice cafe for a cuppa or light refreshments. lovely woods nearby for a walk.
I must have driven past many times before and not noticed this unassuming gem. We were welcomed by friendly staff and wonderful cafe options, I had a flat white which was nice. We were 6 strong and with ages ranging from 7 to 73, we had a fantastic time. The mini golf was playful and challenging without being too difficult for the children to enjoy. We had ice cream and cakes from the sun soaked cafe before heading off as happy customers, we'll be back. Thanks for having us.

Highly reccomend Caroline for birthday parties! Caroline has done two build a bear parties for us now and both have been fantastic. My daughter thoroughly enjoys them. Caroline is great with the kiddies and makes it fun for them. If your looking for a great party that is reasonably priced, good fun and something a little bit different then definitely get in touch with them!
Run by such a lovely and helpful lady. It’s a down to earth experience in a church hall but it is super child friendly and welcoming.
