Unfortunately the fort was closed when I visited, but I went to get some drone shots. It looks like a really cool fort and would be fun to explore. It sits atop a hill on the river. Definitely a place to visit.
Wonderfully maintained piece of history. A lovely place to visit and safe for young children. The story it holds shaped the future of Europe and Napoleon. A stunning well preserved fort, with exceptional- especially on a sunny day. An absolute must and worthwhile visit if you have a couple of hours to spare.
A bit of history in the hills. Unfortunately there was not enough, and updated, information about the opening times and we were not able to get inside. Definitely a place which could be turned into something more attractive for visitors. But if you are interested in the relatively recent history of that area (end of 19th - beginning of 20th centuries), this fort is worth visiting. It is quite near Verona, easy to get to by car, and at least the views from the hill are marvelous.
Nice place, but closed for public. At least when we were there.😕
Beautiful views from the fort, and the fort itself is in good repair. The local guide took us around the lower part of the fort and was very knowledgable and friendly.
Would be nice to enter the fort
I mised some exposition in interior

(Translated by Google) NAPOLEON in Rivoli Veronese The Museum is closed from November to February, but if you call, the extremely friendly custodian will open it for you. Otherwise, the indicated opening hours must be observed. The Napoleonic Museum of Rivoli is a private museum open to the public since 1973. The most important component of the exhibition consists of documents and objects owned by Professor Galanti, whose ancestor Francesco Galanti was commander of the vessel that took Napoleon into exile on the Island of Elba. A particular section of the museum is dedicated to the re-enactment of the battle of Rivoli (14 January 1797) on the occasion of which Napoleon demonstrated great valor and determination by achieving a great victory in the conquest of northern Italy. Overall, the exhibition reveals, through its relics, the Napoleonic influence on the history of Italy. Divided into thematic sectors, the exhibition is completed with a library and photocopied documents granted by the War Museums of Vienna and Paris. Absolutely not to be missed for lovers of this historical period.
