Small establishment with well-selected local producers, but we xame here for are the natural wines of the region - got amazing wines and recommendation on local winemakers too. Sadly, they are difficult to represent as they are sold out way too quick.

You need to go there and meet Edi. He is the most knowledgeable guy regarding Croatian wines. It is amazing to listen to him and to taste different wines from Croatia 👍👌

Even though we didn't get a table to sit, since there are only 2 tables outside, the shop is beautiful, filled with local produce like honey, oil and so on. We will probably go again to try some local wine and sit for a bit.

Great cocktails and amazing service! We had a fantastic time at Colosseum Lounge Bar in Opatija. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening, and the cocktails were delicious – well crafted and full of flavor. A big thank you to Amar, who took great care of us. He was friendly, professional, and really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!

Great views from the restaurant, right next to the sea. I had tuna steak with sweet potato fries. The tuna was cooked perfectly and the fries were nice. Some green would have been appreciated. We also shared a nacho bowl which was nice, plenty of cheese, guac and salsa. The staff were very nice.

We’ve been visiting Colosseum Beach Club every summer during the day, but after yet another disappointing experience this year, we have decided not to return. We booked a sunbed in the VIP section, expecting at least a basic level of service for €60 – but unfortunately, just like in previous years, there was none. The club was nearly empty in the morning, yet not a single waiter approached us to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Even after placing multiple orders ourselves, we were never checked on again. There is no welcome drink, no towels, not even a bottle of water included. No music in the background, no atmosphere and most importantly – NO SERVICE. It’s clear the management (despite complaints made over the years) continues to prioritize evening events and neglects the daytime experience entirely. If that’s the focus, maybe they should just close during the day. Disappointing, overpriced and mismanaged. We won’t be coming back.

We ordered the fish burger, as there didn’t seem to be a regular burger on the menu — just a “naked” version. It could have been quite good, but unfortunately I found fish bones right at the start, which made me eat very carefully and took away from the enjoyment. Overall, I’d rate it 7/10, though it really could use some kind of side dish — it came with nothing. The other dish was a Caesar salad, which was decent, but the chicken was very salty — also a 7/10. I suspect it’s over-salted to help it keep longer, but it really hurts the flavor. Price-to-quality is on the higher side, though not as bad as some other places in town. The view, however, is beautiful — right by the sea — and the gin & tonic was excellent.

Excellent food, service, ambiance! Try the Croatian Rose sparkling wine, delicious! The torpedo shrimp and chicken salad were delicious too. So relaxing to sit by the sea and enjoy the sunset. Thanks to our friendly server Jelena!

Fantastic, tallented and super positive Matea in charge of a family shop with a lot of soul. Her passion to keep the shop going beams from the shelves and walls. You may look but you won't find elsewhere any souvenirs as charming and as original as those in Suvenir. Support local artists and crafts and pay this shop a visit! 😊

The shop is very quaint and is in the corner of the main square. One of the best place to get locally made gifts. They stock fig balls, lavender, laurels, wooden ships, and super quirky stuff like ceramic sardine cans or ceramic origami ships and sardine pens. Staff is super cool and helpful.Will return will recommend!
