A very fun attraction for the whole family!beautiful scenery, and what a blast to cruise through the old railway tunnels with the wind in your hair! All the employees were nice and competent. And even though we don't understand french, they took their time to help us in english.
Much much better than expected! We cycled the 4km back and forth. Beautiful landscape, both next to the track and the marvelous views. The cycling required no effort at all with the electric assistance. The cycle seats were comfortable.
We did the Orchidées trip, very easy downhill and with stunning views, A dog friendly attraction, which is nice. Keep well away from the cars in front and behind, as two in front of us got way too close to each other at one point, and they ignored instructions not to stop anywhere, which is a bad idea generally. Keep moving, be sensible, and you'll love it! Nice crepes at the cafe on the other end too, recommend the local honey one.
Really enjoyed the ride!!! We took the 8km downhill bike track returning by train. Absolutely recommand this activity!
I love the concept of Velorail. I think it's such a smart way to repurpose old train tracks that are not serving a purpose. I went to this specific one eight years ago with my daughter who was 3 years old and it just went back two weeks ago with all three kids this time. The whole family had a great time! We did the Orchid trail. This particular velorail has a wonderful view and goes through four tunnels. It also has a stop at an old train station which has been repurpose into a little cafe. And then there's a train back to the original start location. It's a super easy, fun activity to do with people of all ages. We highly recommend it!
Great family fun, the rail car can take 5 with children, something u can't do in England, so worth a visit there are loads all over France, great views and going over the tall viaducts was an experience
What a quirky, fun, family activity. If you're up for a more physical adventure, do the Grand Voyage, which requires you to pedal up 4 km before coasting 12 km downhill. You go through multiple tunnels and see beautiful countryside.
Fun day out for anyone in the area. Gorgeous views and quite a unique experience. Bicycle trains took us 8km down the tracks where we enjoyed a nice crêpe and glacon. Diesel locomotive came to pick everyone up so you can enjoy the views in reverse. Would highly recommend, especially if you have kids!

It was a cool experience. A lot of different animals, everything is well explained and the staff is great. Kids also had the opportunity to touch some lizards.
We had a nice drive from Gignac to The Reptile in Larzac. Beautiful drive it was to begin with. The Reptile is not very big, but they have a nice collection of reptile. Small, and very big. Croc's and Alligators, Very big snakes. Gekko's and so on. If you can speak French there's some guys who can tell you a lot about all the reptiles. We had a nice time, kids loved it.
A small reptile house with a good variety of animals. Enclosures were not great and quite barren, which I suppose did make it easy to see the animals. All signs and descriptions were in French, which is unfortunately still quite common in France. Entrance is €10 which seems quite high comparing to other, much nicer reptile parks and refuges.
We came around 10:30 am. And it was really busy, you couldn’t see much because it was really cramped in there, then there were the reptiles, the yellow python looked like it was larger than its habitat, and the crocodiles didn’t have much room either. Almost all habitats seemed to small. But im no expert, the habitats where really simple no real plants, not really variations of decorations and the reptiles didn’t seem happy, a few were trying to escape, i would not recommend going there, but thats my opinion.
The place is nice for some reptiles. It will take maximum one hour to make a tour. Great for small kids.
Small animal garden, but quite a nice collection of special reptiles. Very friendly people working there and they are willing to answer any question. Worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood.
Staff were happy to explain and give more in-depth knowledge about the reptiles that they look after, very family friendly.
Very expensive for what it is (10 EUR for adults, 7,5 EUR for kids) and the animals are held in very disappointing and depressing conditions (the plants in the enclosure are plastic!!).

Fascinating, well presented history of the Commanderie, life and people in 13th century. It has been carefully restored to represent the life of the commander, monks and ordinary people of the time, presented in a booklet (in several languages). Wall frescos, tapestries and simple furnishings of the time all enhance the experience. In the centre of the walled town including the eglise. Well worth a visit and all for €4 each
Marvelous and unique village and church where we spent the night ... it was so great to explore the streets and history of the place
Very nice small village with many informative signs. Free parking. Really worth a visit
Very good experience, you are provided with a guide in the correct language, it’s really helpful. The place is very well preserved and restored so you can get a real feel for how it used to be.
Beautiful medieval town. Great parking area away from the castle walls but not too far
Good place for whom appreciate history.
Beautiful little village
