Clean water, soft white sand and amazing view. Plenty of Cafes, bars, restaurants available there to eat food. Pure vegetarian option is limited. Also, it is less crowded so must visit it. Sunsets were magical, with the sky turning shades of orange and pink.
Haven’t been to such an happening beach in my life. This has a totally different vibe. The fire show was amazing along with the music.
The Place to be. White Sand Beach. Crowded, commercial, but the place to be if you want a lively enviornment. Most popular spot to stay as well Plenty of Indian Food, Duty Free Shops Nearby - Walking Distance. 7/11 is also there on the road.
Pantai Cenang, Langkawi is one of the most popular and vibrant beaches in Langkawi, Kedah. Located on the western coast of the island, it is famous for its soft white sand, clear blue waters, and breathtaking sunsets. The beach is perfect for both relaxing and enjoying fun water activities. Visitors can go swimming, sunbathing, jet skiing, banana boat riding, or even try parasailing. The area is filled with cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops, making it easy to enjoy local food and shopping. During my holiday on this island, I had a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious, with a wide range of options from affordable meals to more expensive dishes, depending on your preference. Car rental services are also available, giving you the flexibility to explore the island. There are many resorts and hotels, especially in popular areas like Cenang and Kuah. Pantai Cenang is also close to attractions like Underwater World Langkawi and duty free shops. In the evening, the beach becomes livelier with music, street shows, and beachfront bars. Don’t forget to buy souvenirs like keychains, chocolates, and local crafts before you leave. Overall, Pantai Cenang offers a perfect mix of beauty, adventure, and excitement—definitely a must-visit spot in Langkawi.
Pantai Cenang is the kind of beach that instantly lifts your mood. Performers spinning flames against the dark sea, music in the background, and crowds gathering with that shared sense of awe. The atmosphere turns magical without losing its relaxed island charm.
This is most famous and best beach in Langkawi. So much happening place with restaurant, local shops, markets everything at walkable distance. You will literally get everything you want .
Beautiful beach.. loads of water sports ... family friendly. Nights 🌙 turn into quaint drinking spots offering many different genres of music.
Nice beach with a long coastline, so nice for walks! It can get nousy from the jet skis so we stayed always at the end of the beach where it’s quieter. There are some jellyfish and all of them are typical normal round ones, most of them are in the low tide. We also had a vinger always with us in case somebody gets stung - that’s the 1st aid which is always nice to have with you if there can be jellyfish. I got stung once, didn’t hurt much, put straight some vinegar on yhe burn, all was good.

A must try experience in Langkawi. Really had a best time over here.😍😍😍 NOTE- Based on my personal experience i would recommend you take a shared ride rather than a Private boat because its a very good experience to spend some quality time with different people from different countries. Only in shared ride the guide will be present and he would be explaining each and every place and its history. Cost- 60RM to 80RM (nominal cost) Free pickup and drop cab facility to your hotel stay. Some tend to charge higher and dont fall in traps. #beautifulLangkawi
We started early in the morning when there was no other people on the water. It was amazing and we loved it. It's so relaxing. We saw monkeys, Eagles, snakes and a lot of other animals. You need to do this when you are in Langkawi.
Best boat tour we ever had.. but make sure you guys take the tour during sunny day. Don't be like us start the tour in rainy day but luckily end up with beautiful weather. We took the private boat, a bit costly but you'll get special attention from the boatmen. The tour takes 3-4 hours exploring & sightseeing the mangrove area till andaman sea, in & out the caves, eagles & monkeys feeding. It's very precious experience even though it was already twice we went there.
Definitely worth the price. Came to langkawi for the second time and would say this is way better than Island hopping ( but if you’re first timer definitely need to visit tasik dayang bunting etc) We rent a boat for 350 (4 hours) for one family. Generally they can fit 8 people and have 4 different slots - I strongly suggest to get the 8 am as the weather still good and not that hot. The guide explained well and a lot of place we visited like Bat Cave, Fish farm, mangrove sightseeing and also can see the Eagle feeding. You can also able to swimming at the island beach in the same package. Best if you booked them earlier in the website so that it is easier for you later. Worth to try!
This tour was one of my highlights during my visit to Langkawi. It was well worth the 90 ringgit. First we went to the Batcave (hundreds of bats), then to the fish farm and then on to the mangroves to spot monkeys and feed eagles. Absolutely recommended!!!
The best in the area, we compared and it was the cheapest, offering exactly the same, and with much better service. The tour was great! Saw exactly what is offered, and had the both for me and my partner. It was a great experience. The guide was also super helpful and explained a lot of things to us.
The tour and service from BC NURI Management is absolutely splendid. Big appreciation for our guide Wan who is eloquent, knowledgeable and humorous. We not only able to enjoy the sightseeing but we also had the opportunity to learn about the geoforest, the flora and faunas about the area. Initially we planned to buy from Klook but the price seems to be too inflated as compared to island hopping. So what we did was we proceed to the jetty with grab and the driver recommend us this service. We were greeted by the adminstrator and made our payment by cash there. Do note that the shared boat service would only start at 10am (no other time slot) if you are considering to drive there to get the tickets. Price we got was Rm100 but can be cheaper as much as Rm70 depending on the package details you want.
Really good tour of the river. Went through the bat cave, crocodile cave, fish farm and stopped at a beach. On way back from the beach we stopped at the fish farm for the second time to have lunch. Really nice food was delighted to see it was not all fish. There was a large variety of fish and a few people got the chance to feed them, raw fish. There was also a dead fish floating around and many of the others looked as though they would be dead as well soon. All in all the boat trip and other areas were amazing. Would highly recommend a visit

My first time doing a recreational dive after getting my Open Water under a year ago. Very happy that I have Warna and her team to help get me back into diving shape during my five dives. Great coaching and tips along the way. Went to 4 different sites and visibility is considered good. Saw a lot on my dive, Lion Fish, Barracuda, Seahorses, and even an Octopus, to name a few highlights. I should have rented a GoPro. Maybe next time and I highly recommend!
Langkawi scuba was very easy and responsive to communicate with to arrange the dive since I was coming from a cruise ship. The dive shop is easy to find and right on the beach. Everyone we interacted with was very nice and very professional. We had all levels on the boat with us from newbies to discovery scuba and they divided us up well. We were told prior to booking that visibility in Langkawi is not what is usual in other places. The equipment was top notch and before you leave the shop they make sure everything is working and fits well so no additional gear on the boat. Everything was done very professional from making sure equipment fit to the dive briefing and what to expect. The dive sites are not far from the beach so short boat ride. They tether you to the dive master so you don't get lost in the visibility. This was the first time tethering for me and as soon as the dive master got a feel for my skill level and checked out the visibility the tether was removed. You are not diving deep so dive times are 60 minutes if not a little longer. They take all your gear from you while still in the water so you don't have to climb up the ladder with the gear. All the dive instructors are excellent in pointing out the small stuff and there is lots of small stuff, health coral and sponges and lots of fish. My favorites were the sea horses and the clown fish. Highly recommend whether learning to dive or experienced diver.
Great place to go for if you are planning to do scuba diving in the island. The instructors were very friendly and attentive, always ensuring we had plenty of things to explore underwater. Highly recommend visiting Langkawi Scuba if you're planning a trip
We had an incredible experience learning PADI scuba diving with Langkawi Scuba. We visited twice and successfully completed both Level 1 and Level 2 PADI Certified Open Water Diver courses. A huge thanks to our instructor Matt, who was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire learning process smooth and enjoyable. His guidance gave us the confidence to dive safely and explore the underwater world with ease. The team at Langkawi Scuba is professional, friendly, and passionate about diving. Every session was well-organized and conducted with utmost safety. We're grateful for the memories and the valuable skills we’ve gained. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start or advance their scuba diving journey!
Went for fun dives with Warda, who was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and attentive. It was great that one instructor is only overseeing 2 students per dive as the visibility might be quite challenging. There’s loads of stuffs to see - sea slugs, moray eel, seahorses, frog fish, clown fish, lion fishes and others. Felt safe throughout and proper preparations were made before the dive. Would definitely recommend the team to those interested to dive in Langkawi!
Very well run dive shop, on Cenang beach. My daughter took the open water course thru them, and it was a great experience. We did 3 days of diving with them, and the personal attention during the dive prep and during the dive was exceptional and not something I had experienced at any other dive shop. Would highly recommend.
Learning to dive with Warda and Dee, the couple who own and run this dive center, has been the most thrilling and satisfying experience of my life! I came to them with deep-water phobia and near-zero swimming knowledge, and they transformed me into a certified, confident scuba diver, over the course of just a couple of weekends! Their expertise, training approach, friendliness, patience, care for my comfort level, and warmth made me comfortable with them and my new environment very quickly. Their knowledge of local diving sites, most of those discovered by and known only to them, and their rockstar boat captain, Mr. Lee, made this experience really special. Thank you so very much!!
I have engaged Langkawi Scuba for my Open water license together with my kids age 10, 12 & 13. Warda and JC have helped us a lot in overcoming our fear of water and they also had the patience to handle my young kids. I lost my fear when i am underwater with their care. They made the whole process a lot easier then i thought. A truly professional instructors and i am glad i choose Langkawi Scuba to obtain my open water license. I wish Warda and her team all the best.

Totally get why it’s well-reviewed. This place is spacious and beautifully done up with intricate Bali-style carvings — really sets the mood for relaxation. I went for a full body massage and it was great — pressure was just right and the masseuse was skilled. Loved that the room had its own toilet, changing area, and locker for convenience. There’s a wide range of treatments too, so I’d definitely return to try more. A calming, authentic experience by the beach! 💆🏽‍♀️✨
The place itself is really unique and the atmosphere is warm. I had a Balinese massage with masseuse Izan. The massage was good, the pressure points were strong but at the same time it was relaxing. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something different. 👍so far, it made my stay very memorable.
Recommended and especially masseur Isti, she was really attentive and veryyy good at her job - I left the place feeling so relaxed & am so glad I decided to walk in this place. I took 60mins aromatherapy oil, was great. Reception staff everyone was friendly too. You get a hot ginger tea before & after your massage, very calm ambiance. Would definitely come back again
An exceptional massage experience in Langkawi! The setting is absolutely magical, creating a serene atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped out of time. The massage itself was truly outstanding – relaxing yet deeply revitalizing. Everything, from the warm welcome to the calming environment, was perfect. A place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable moment of relaxation in Langkawi.
Amazing massage experience at Alun Alun Spa, Pantai Cenang My husband and I loved our time at Alun Alun Spa. The Balinese-style setting is so relaxing. We tried foot reflexology, Balinese and Thai massages—each was excellent. Special thanks to Ina for an incredible Balinese massage that left me feeling refreshed and renewed. Adding some soft music could make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone wanting relaxation in Langkawi. We'll come back!
I took their half day package that comprises of: - body scrub - body wrap - hair spa - aromatherapy hot tub - 1.5hrs massage - 30mins foot reflex - facial And, it was totally worth it! I thought usually with such variety of services, either they will have different therapist for different service, or with just one, she may be good at some but average at others. However, Ima, the therapist assigned to me, is extremely good at every service. It was definitely above my expectation at every stage. I felt totally pampered by her. I went back the next day for more massage but Ima was off. Although the therapist wasn’t as great but she was still good. I had a relaxing time as well. It’s a place that I would even consider flying back when I’m in need for a relaxing break.
Lovely affordable spa in Langkawi. Highly recommend! Had a one hour Malaysian massage, started and finished with delicious sweet ginger tea. Lovely setting, good pressure.
We did the bliss pack which includes Malayan facial (1h) and Malayan body (1h)and feet washing. It was around 100 euros for 2 people. The body is a really complete full body and includes head massage that is great. They do some beats and punches however for me it was soft most of the time. The face is really good includes scrub, clay mask and mist. All ingredients smell natural. I really recomend the facials!

Truly relaxing place to enjoy some decent cocktails and watch the sunset. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I am Malaysian and it was my first visit here. Just to give some context to other reviewers who have mentioned staff being rude or discriminatory against locals. I certainly did not encounter this. Prices were reasonable. At RM27-30 a cocktail, I have no complaints at all. Good value for a beachfront venue. Quality of cocktails - I had 2, GOOD ONE - Very refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed this. AH CHONG’s LONG ISLAND TEA - It was OK but felt slightly unbalanced to me. Variety of cocktails were a little limited to me. I have read some reviews of a Negroni being ordered but did not see any on the menu. Not sure if they do the classics on request or have shortened the cocktail menu. Overall, really enjoyed my experience here and will likely return when I am in the area next.
The place was right near the beach and I got a nice view of the sunset in the afternoon. Ordered a Mai Tai, which was quite strong if the syrup did not overpower the alcohol, making it too sweet for me. Other than that, the place was okay, quick service and spacious.
Lovely chill bar with great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice cocktails and tasty bar bites. Music was great. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and sunset.🌅 🍹 🎶 Will definitely come back in my next trip to Langkawi! 🦅
best beachfront bar with very affordable drinks and good veggie burger. Kindest staff on the island, very friendly and full of knowledge. Gorgeous view for the sunset.
Fantastic view of sunset. Little bar with great vibes. Boys serving some good cocktails and playing some chilled out or raggae music..
The yummiest cocktails on the island and the friendliest service from the team! Have been here twice and have had the best experience, will be back again! Wish there was a place like this back home.
By far the best beach bar in the area, amazing service always with a smile, great atmosphere, music, the drinks and cocktails are cold and well priced, the sunset views, clean well maintained toilet, as a solo traveller, I have left my belongings multiple times on the table while swimming in the pristine water, the staff are attentive and watchful, cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!!!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! This was the first place we went to when we arrived in Langkawi in February 2024. Chilled beers, tasty cocktails, amazing view on the main beach - what more could you ask for. We also valued that Ah Chong had both seating in the sun and "inside" when you need some time off from the rather brutal Langkawi sun. (although it's not really inside, it's just a shady corner under a sun roof) As they did not offer food they let us bring our own pizza from the nearby pizza place. Great staff, made us feel home. Don't miss this neat place - this is what a local beach bar should be like!!

Joe is very helpful she explained to me in details different types of batik in Malaysia and justify the difference (between normal and authentic batik Malaysia) . This is truly helpful to me now I know investment in authentic Malaysia batik is worthy. I bought one at last and I'm satisfied with this store.
Nabila and Izani was very helpful! We were looking for batik shirt for my bedridden dad who is quite conservative in colour. They gave us size comparisons, they actually took time to show appropriate designs for my conservative in colour dad. Love the service
TQ Joe and Puteri; who are superb supportive with recommendation to selecting the perfect Batik and a really nice Brownish coloured Baju Melayu with White Samping.
Ms. Pija is a great staff that serves me well She recommended nice batik for me. I have bought it my new batik shirt Strongly recommend to visit this boutique.
Was on a hunt for a batik for an emergency event, Pija was so helpful with my preference and sizing. The whole process was swift and easy 🫶🏻
