The free exhibitions on the 2nd and 3rd floor are interesting and educational. The guard there very kindly gave a brief description of each floor when I looked lost. The exhibits are well maintained and at the end of the exhibition on pollutions, there seems to be some interactive quiz which unfortunately is in Japanese only. The souvenir shop on the 1st floor sells some cheap and nice postcards, and the staff speak multiple languages and are very friendly. Thanks to his assistance , I managed to collect my very first manhole card from the information counter, also manned by delightful staffs :)
Yokkaichi municipal museum have a lot of information historical articles on what happened at the time the place was built it was a sad news a lot of pictures tells more about the incident, the place is calm and clean environment, they have a theater where you can watch our planet stars moon sun all the planets in a clear view is place of knowledge worth to visit.
Good place for learning history. Nice staffs and friendly. Uncle staff is very kind. Interesting limited exhibition. Planetarium has a show time limited.
Really a wonderful and enlightening experience, the concern of the judicial system and the company response to the harmful effects caused by them to the public was really fascinating to know...#The best environmental museums in the world.
Museum is really nice... Worth visiting
(Translated by Google) I went there for the planetarium, but the second screening was Conan, so I ended up not seeing it. There was a person at the museum who explained the exhibits and told me a lot of things. The parking lot is adjacent to Apita, so if you use it to shop, the fee is free, so I bought lunch there. There was a flea market going on at the time, so I looked around, but I don't think there was anything I wanted to buy. Next time I'll check the showtimes at the planetarium before going. It's a shame that there is no dedicated parking lot.

Very convenient for shopping, with accessible parking lot. Though parking spots are not easily visible while driving inside it.
A lot of the capsule vending machines are available on 3F.

Accessible by car with sizable parking space. This is a good place if you want to watch the nightsky of Yokkaichi City at night.
Beautiful view of yokkaichi city to observe from here. Nice greenery and very cool wind.
The view from the top of this place is so awesome and more if you go at after the sunset or in the sunrise time, if you go at night I recommend to bring a light (cellphone flash can also work, but I prefer to bring a light). And the park is also big, there other areas you can go and it's also a good place to do some running including a little of hills in your training.
(Translated by Google) I often go for walks with my dog. There are differences in elevation within the park, making it quite a rewarding walk. The children's area has play equipment, and the lawn area attracts many families who come to slide on the grass. You can also enjoy seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms and hydrangeas. There are several parking lots, and you can park quite a few cars, so I don't think you will have any problems parking your car. Parking lot conditions There are 3 parking lots. They are far apart. A total of more than 50 cars can be parked. All of them are full at 18:15. Of course. I thought so, so I went there by bicycle. The slope was steep~ lol It took about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the top. 3. The result of the visit The place where you can see the night view was really crowded. I wanted to take photos, but it was impossible lol. I could see the fireworks beautifully, but it was very crowded. The best time to set up a tripod in a good place is in the morning. If you want to see the fireworks, you must be on the right hand side facing the sea. It's a good place. However. There are many houses around, so it doesn't feel like a hidden spot. The night view is beautiful enough that I recommend it just for that. But the fireworks are a bit tough lol (Original) 1.

(Translated by Google) Suwa Shrine is located in the shopping district in downtown Yokkaichi. It's said to have been founded in 1202 (Kennin 2) during the Kamakura period, when a branch of the Suwa Taisha Shrine in Shinshu was enshrined here, making it a shrine with a long history. The main deities enshrined are Takeminakata-no-Mikoto and Yaekotoshiro-nushi-no-Mikoto. No Yokkaichi resident would be unfamiliar with the shrine. During festivals, the shrine grounds and the adjacent park are bustling with stalls and other activities. The first shrine visit of the year sees many visitors before the New Year, and at times, it feels like a class reunion for people of the same generation. I visited on the Saturday of the Great Yokkaichi Festival. The grounds are cleared for the various floats that are brought in for the festival. The bustle is greater in the park, downtown, and shopping district. Yokkaichi Festival is held twice a year: the Daiyokkaichi Festival and the Yokkaichi Festival. The Daiyokkaichi Festival is a city-based festival organized by the Daiyokkaichi Festival Executive Committee. The Yokkaichi Festival, on the other hand, is the annual festival of Suwa Shrine, with a history of over 300 years. Both festivals are lively, but the Daiyokkaichi Festival is divided into two parts: a day of dancing and a day of local performing arts. While the shopping district and other areas are filled with large-scale festivals, the Yokkaichi Festival, as it is the annual festival of Suwa Shrine, has a solemn feel. If you want to enjoy the excitement, come in the summer, but if you want to leisurely view the floats, come in the fall (there are also displays of mechanisms in the fall). Suwa Shrine is quiet on weekdays, but it bustles with people during festivals and other events. If you're in Yokkaichi, be sure to stop by Suwa Shrine. Loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
A must visit shrine if you are planning to visit Apita and Suwa Park. It's a 10-minute walk from there. The Jinja here is a bit new compared to Suwa but the pillars are symmetrical and good for photos. Japan is indeed a great place to visit.
Nice park on an historic location. With a temple on it. The guys who work there are very friendly as well. Very recommendable.
Lovely place of tea ceremony.
This park has a playground and also has swing and slide for kids.
Nice place to relax

(Translated by Google) The overall feeling of this park is super good. There were several brothers and sisters trimming trees that day. They kept telling me that there were no big fish here. They had never seen any in such a long time here. They advised me not to spend too much time on this place. But I don’t know why I felt that there should be black sea bream here after looking at the environment. I walked along the shore and searched the entire coast once. I went there at 10 o’clock in the morning. It was high tide at 11 o’clock. I started to catch fish at 12 o’clock. This is the first time in my life that I caught black sea bream in Japan. One was 46 cm and the other was 43 cm. Next time I will challenge the 50 cm black sea bream! Then the brothers and sisters who saw me catch fish came to congratulate me. Later, they said they wanted to take a photo as a souvenir. I also took a photo with them. I was so happy to feel this way and share the joy with each other. (Translated by Google) During Golden Week, many families with children came. The weather was good and I wanted to go to the athletics. There was only one ticket vending machine, so about 20 to 30 people were lined up (about 5 to 10 minutes wait 💦 I wish they would improve it a little more), probably because they expected that there would be so few people at the entrance, or because it was an old design. The price was 700 yen for adults. The total length was about 1.4 km. The first half was fine, but after I thought I was going down quite a bit, the second half from the bottom was a steep staircase 💦💦💦 I think this is a very tough staircase for the elderly and those in the lower grades of elementary school. (I think it would be even tougher for men and women who don't exercise. There are about 50 to 100 steps.) The athletic level is quite weak in the second half. The scenery may be good for those who have been hiking. For those who usually hike or climb low mountains, this may be a comfortable course that is a little lacking. Very solemn place.
(Translated by Google) It is called Shishide Shrine. This is also not a direct conversion. The nearest station is Kasumigaura on the Kintetsu Nagoya Line. This is a station where even semi-express trains stop. When you exit the station, keep going to the right until you reach the end of the line, then turn right again and you will see a torii gate at the end of the railroad crossing. I went through the torii gate, climbed the stone steps, entered the shrine grounds, and ended up next to the shrine. In addition to the torii gate we passed earlier, there was another large torii gate to the left (I checked it after the shrine visit😅). There is a shrine on top of the tumulus. This is a rare shrine where the main deity is Kubukito, the god of exorcism. When I went to pray, there were people performing exorcisms. Therefore, I decided to wait until the exorcism was completed before receiving the goshuin. There is an Inari shrine in the shrine grounds, ``Tsumakoi Inari Shrine''. I felt that there was a similar shrine near Yushima Tenjin in Tokyo, and when I looked at the history of the shrine, I realized that was the case. The one in Tokyo is the ``Tsumaai'' shrine, I wonder why the Inari statue was attached to it. The company record states that the shrine was founded during the reign of Emperor Suinin. ``Shii'' (in kanji, there is the character ``ichi'' below ``ushi'') ``Shide'' means a gift. This is because it corresponds to the route from Kuwana to Oshiyama Shrine in Suzuka. It is also said that during the Jinshin War, when Emperor Tenmu traveled from Yoshino to Suzuka and worshiped Ise Jingu Shrine in Kontakawabe, Asaaki District, this is the place where he performed the purification of the Omimi with a cotton cloth. There is a place name of Sai and Shiigano in Shimi (kanji character notation ``ichi'' under ``ushi''). The deities enshrined include the wind god Kebukido, Izanami, and Izanagi. It is a shrine associated with the spirits of the dead of an ancient nation. It is said to be a shrine to the soul of the ruler of the Kofun period. This is a kofun shrine located on the site of a tumulus from the Kofun period. [1] The shrine was built using the topography of the plateau of the ancient tomb. There is a legend that prayers were prayed for inside the Kofun Shrine, which served as a military base for wars within the Imperial Court during the Yamato and Nara periods of ancient Japan. Near the shrine are the historical sites of Hazu Castle (the area controlled by the Hazu clan of the Akahori clan) and the Shii Shrine burial mound. There are worship facilities at Ise Grand Shrine and Meiji Shrine, which were built during the period of the Japanese Empire. It enshrined nearby shrines such as Suga Shrine, Hazu Village, Yawata Village, Yoshizawa Village, and Aya Village. [2] It was designated as a prefectural shrine of Mie Prefecture in 1930, when Banko-yaki was dedicated to Gosha in 1886.

Really big and quiet park, with good views and 3 kids play land.

It is a small temple located in a residential area near Hinaga Station on the Yokkaichi Asunaro Railway. The principal image of worship is a wooden standing statue of Acala (a hidden Buddha) made in the late Heian period. It is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan and known as Hinaga's Fudo-san. It is said to have been founded in 738 by the high priest Gyoki, and was originally located on Mount Atago to the west, and was a large temple with 17 sub-temples. During the Tenshō era (1573-1592), Daishoin was attacked by forces under the command of Oda Nobunaga, and its buildings were burned down. The then-chief priest, Renge Hoin, escaped the attack by carrying the principal image of Acala out of the temple on his back. In 1690, Kaiyo Hoin, the Fourth Great Priest of the Restoration, moved the temple to its current location and changed its name to Daishoin Matsui-dera. It is said that this statue was carved by Minamoto no Yoriyoshi, a warlord of the Heian period, who was inspired by Acala while in battle and had it carved by the Kyoto sculptor Jocho. He then worshipped the statue as his guardian Buddha for the rest of his life, and after several changes, it became the principal image of Daishoin Temple. Our favorite cozy Aeon is in Obira. The locals are pleasant and helpful, Seria is even at the mall. Although it's a little mall, everything you need is available here. The recreation center and the infant section are the best.
I have to edit this review, the pet store no longer has cute puppies and the quality of the supermarket has suffered, I wonder if it is from stiffer competition from new locations nearby. Good neighborhood option locally
Simply the best... I just went there last night for some ice cream and so good... This Aeon has everything you need from food to house hold items... You can eat yummy food as well... I highly recommend this Aeon to anyone who wants anything they want...
A good mall where you can meet most of your requirements.
