Great place to understand the secrets of Rhodian wines. At Kounaki Wines you have the choice of professional wine tasting packages, and you can complete the experience by some snacks. Very professional explanations of the wines and the processes. Excellent English is spoken. You can buy also the wines you tasted, all of them high quality and tasty.

We had an amazing wine tasting at Kounaki wines. We started with a tour and learned all about the wines produced and how they change every year, depending on the weather and the style the wine master wants to create. We then did the ‘wine enthusiasts’ tasting (there are several options) of 18 wines which was fun and insightful. We felt well looked after and would highly recommend. Enjoy the tasting and buy what you like to take back to your villa or hotel to enjoy. Thanks for amazing hospitality!

Highly recommend this place for a tasting. You get plenty of information on each wine, very good prices for tastings, they have cheese and meat boards available as well. The wines are delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. It’s tucked away off the road and there is a large free parking lot on site.

Lovely wine tasting experience. We tried 9 wines, all delicious! The StoryTeller and Sweet Orange are definitely worth trying! Great selection, good variety of flavour profiles. Would recommend!

I arrived in Rhodes on a Tuesday evening, booked a wine tasting on Wednesday morning for 4pm that day. I think you could just show up but perhaps in summer when busier it's best to book. Anyway, when I arrived I was greeted by 3 lovely young ladies, who sat me down with a jug of water and explained the process. After I quenched my thirst, one of the gals took me on a tour of the winery and most excellently explained the whole process from picking the grapes to bottling the wine, and all the differences between the different grapes/wines. Very knowledgeable young lady. After that, I and a few cats, were provided with the meat and cheese plater I had ordered. Cats were class. Plenty of options for all, and can all be ordered online when booking. I was then presented, one by one, with some fabulous wines to taste. The gals explained the wines extremely well, and they also provide a book to accompany. I was on my own but with a group of friends or family it would great craic (fun). I would highly recommended visiting this brilliant winery if you after some wine or just a tasting. Believe they do olive oil and honey too but I was there for the wine. 🍷

Had a great tasting experience and had an excellent cheese plate too! Highly recommend! Bought the Pink Fox organic and the Athiri of Rhodes 2023 unfiltered. Very cute cats here while enjoying our tasting !

Perfect chance to taste Rodos winemaking at its finest! They provide many options for your wine tasting experience, and these cute stick-ons for the glass so you can keep track of what you’re tasting. They also provide a booklet to describe the varietals and the way they express in the winemaking process The quality is deep! Exceptional wines. We really enjoyed the tasting as it provided a nice introduction to Greek wines for the uninitiated (me!) and a strong refresher for those who know their Athiri from their Amoriano!
