Very good & committed guide within the mine, showed a well adapted communication style for kids who could really learn by doing some 'basic miners' stuff'. Interesting artefacts in the museum and outside (in the yard). Excellent!
It is an excellent place for a 90 min guided tour through the former iron ore mine. The staff is helpful and friendly and the gift shop offers original items.
Excellent experience it was my first time going inside the mine ! If you are reading this try once !!
(Translated by Google) It was our first time in these tunnels. It was very nice and very informative. Our mine guide Steffan was very well informed and was able to answer questions well and friendly. I can only recommend it. Sure, you have to pay for the parking space in front of the door and there are only a few available, but there are also parking spaces a few meters further on the other side of the main street.
(Translated by Google) What an interesting, educational and fun tour! It was so exciting to walk through the sometimes narrow corridors and listen to our guide's explanations. My highlight was "the underground lake" - a magical place.
(Translated by Google) The visit is highly recommended! Our guide Stefan, an old-school miner with a family tradition, taught us the history of mining over the centuries. And when you walk down the almost 400 meter long tunnel (sometimes crouching for larger visitors), you can feel with all your senses what he is talking about. Also a lot of material science (iron ore is magnetic, the magnet sticks to the wall!) copper layers, manganese and much more. We just say THANK YOU!!!
(Translated by Google) I was very impressed when I visited the mine. It showed how difficult the conditions were under which people worked there at the time. My special thanks go to Stefan the “miner”. During his tour of the mine you could feel his passion for this job. He could literally carry you away with his explanations. Thank you very much for that.
(Translated by Google) A fascinating place where the history of the place and the mining culture come to life! Our tour guide Stefan was not only a specialist, but also an absolute expert due to his own family tradition, who brought an already impressive backdrop to life! You can park cheaply directly opposite and nothing else is left to be desired, everything is there! However, you should book tickets in advance, pay attention to the times and wear appropriate clothing.
