Two of my children ( a boy and a girl aged 11 and 9) did the 'Discover Scuba' session with ScubAndros. From the moment I emailed the company, everything was extremely efficient, professional and impressive. The 2-hour session itself was outstanding. It started with a briefing for the children in the office, given in excellent English and pitched at just the right level for their age. The session then took place in the sea and was equally good. The children loved getting the kit on and submerging and spending a considerable amount of time on a proper first dive. The instructor really was excellent and I recommend the school and the course highly.
Small dive center. Friendly staff. We did a one-tank dive at Vitali beach, which is not a very exciting site (although the beach is beautiful).
We had a great time with diving with ScubAndros last week, both on a fun dive from the shore (my level: basic PADI open water certification) and on two Bubblemaker (introduction) dives with our young kids, who had no previous diving experience. The first Bubblemaker dive was in a hotel pool, and the second one was in the shallow waters off a beach. Our instructor (Zinovia) was very professional, enthusiastic and patient with all divers, including our inexperienced children. We had a lovely dive, and the kids got a great introduction to scuba. I know they will definitely ask to do it again in the future.
We dived at the barracuda bay with Scuba Andros, and had a great time. Kostas is very professional, friendly and with high spirit. The equipment is in very good condition. The dive itself was really nice with plenty of fish (barracudas and others). We highly recommend diving with Kostas!
We arranged a lesson for 15:00 by phone, when we arrived on time they asked us to wait until 16:00 and then said that they unfortunately have no lessons for that day . We wasted the afternoon on dive that never happened. Further more the owner was rude and the instructor barely knew English. Highly recommend to avoid this diving center. (August 2019)
Had a brilliant week getting my PADI open water certificate! Babis who runs the centre were fantastic and Rod was a calm and clear teacher. Thank you for a great week!
Fantastic shore dive at 'Apothekes' combing small wall, rocks, sand, poseidonia and lot's of marine life with crystal waters. Zinovia (the instructor) is very professional, cool and a true underwater naturalist :)
Aggressive and impolite. While trying to collect some info about the possible dives in the area a guy named Kostas responding the phone of the diving center was completely rude to say the least. He must have the impression that he can be rude and enforce me to accept his terrible attitude. I prefer not diving to Andros and going to Paros where there are several other diving centers with a lot more diving places.
