Lovely small winery ~30 mins from the airport so well worth a stop on the way to/from. Their vineyards are not on-site, but this an authentic working winery (with all their winemaking equipment), and they also have a charming restaurant. Franco was so friendly and showed us around, and before we left the chef surprised us with sorbet made with their local grapes. Just what we needed for a hot summer's day! Highly recommend the Fiano & the Roma Reserva, amazing value for money
Stopped for wine tasting on our first day in Italy. They were very accommodating considering we had no reservation. Franko was very informative on the wine making process and he was passionate about their wines. We enjoyed our experience mostly due to his personal attention but also the wine was very good!
An absolutely brilliant tour stop. Set into the hillside, the tasting tables, heavy with glasses and savouries. Along a corridor, centuries old, chiselled by hand through the rock and to the fermentation room. So cool and refreshing when it's 30C outside. We had an excellent explanation from Kristian on wine technique making followed by a tasting session....the Roma red was brilliant. Just had to buy some to take away....although an importer of Italian wines, 45 10°, in the UK, does have a limited selection.
Small winery, super friendly, amazing wine with the perfect ambiance!! Definitely Recommend
Going by the reviews here I expected an overwhelming experience...but not really. It was more an experience you can expect from the local grocery shop with nice wines. The owner clearly was not in the mood of explaining or hospitality. The place really looks nice. That's why the second star. We wanted to have lunch here, but it was closed, despite the opening hours mentioned on Google.
Amazing Winery with excellent food a must place for those they love wine and quality food.
Great wine. Great host, Christian. Great food especially the Trippa. Fantastic historical winery. I think this is the best winery around Rome.
Best meal I had in Rome trip. Wonderful winery where staff is warm and welcoming and wine and food is superb. Don’t miss this wonderful winery.
