Super legit. Like 500 steps to the top of the mountain. Boss viewpoints to stop at on your way up. Then there's a trail that leads to a shrine in the forest. I can imagine it would suck if a lot of people were there. But when I went in the morning it was empty
The stairs to the top of the mountain are not too long but also not too short, providing just enough exercise. Because of the many trees on the mountain, you can't see the view around you from the top, but you can see it from the way to the top. If you go in the evening, near sunset, it's a good time.
Beautiful view of the river, with a lot of gazebos to rest as your climb the steps. The top of the mountain is also nice as there is an easy trail up to an interesting shrine. There's also little rock piles made from stones people found to mark their reaching the top.
Peaceful place to visit. Famous in Chai Nat. Just pray and visit another place in Chai Nat
Good place for sightseeing with floating market in the morning until noon(Only Sat. and Sunday). Have 576 stairs upto the mountain, if you wanna try your strenght let try to go up there..
Wat Thammamoon Worawihan is situated on a hillside beside the Chao Phraya River. It's one of the oldest monastery in Thailand. It's the first- class royal monastery in Chaunat. The pagoda iron core is proven 800 years old. Luang Phor Dharmmachak is the most famous holy Buddha image in Chainat.
We have been here before but this time the market had gone and the temple was shut. I thought there was a need for local tourism.
A local tourist attraction featuring a panoramic view of the Chao Phyra River.
