Excellent experience every Greek should visit. There was a video explaining the battle and a very knowledgeable guide that explained the history in detail. We both got goose bumps. Anyone who claims they have Greek pride needs to understand why.
Really worth a visit. For a rather cheap price, the guide gives you the full historical context for the battle that took place in Gravia and then you are free to wander around the inn. She is very knowledgeable and answers every question you may have. The whole tour should take you around 45 minutes.

Fantastic historical experience. One of the cleanest towns we have visited.
Very interesting historical place. A full and accurate reconstruction of the historical Inn of Gravia, where an important battle took place in 1821, at the beginning of the greek liberating revolution against the Ottoman Empire. There is also a guidance on the battle facts and the personal story of the greek leader of the battle, Odysseas (Ulysses) Androutsos.
A Greek traditional village, with great history, we attended the recreation of a battle between the Greeks and the Ottoman empire during the Greek revolution which took place in the nineteenth century.
So first we have to make something clear The big wooden structures were you have to pay are NOT made by the government which means that any Europian Union discounts for historical landmarks are not accepted. Also, they say it in the presentations inside, that this wooden structed is not the real Chani. The real one was bombed and the only thing that remains are the foundation of the building. This is located behind the statue , NOT inside the wooden looking place where you have to pay. I visited the place and honestly they only thing that really was interesting was the video that they showed us (even tho most of it was consisted of random war photos) and the small musem part where they showcased 10 or something weapons as well as 2 traditional clothing. I am really unsure of what to think about the place because honestly it should have been so much more cared of. Its such a historical landmark that people from all around the world visit. It's a shame.
The place to relax with a drink while staring off into space
