(Translated by Google) The Labrador Museum, located in Lituénigo (Zaragoza), is a permanent exhibition of more than 200 pieces, including farming tools and household goods, owned by Jesús Hernández Martínez. Born in this town, Jesús was passionate about the culture linked to the countryside and its old trades. An intense and selfless personal work of more than 40 years recovering tools and other objects, always as a tribute to their parents and grandparents, now serves as a way for visitors to learn about the past and agricultural tradition of the towns of the Tarazona and Moncayo region. . The museum opened its doors in 2000, thanks to an agreement between Jesús and the Lituénigo City Council. The building of the town's old schools, after a rehabilitation promoted by the Zaragoza Provincial Council, houses the collection on its two floors. In 2010, coinciding with its 10th anniversary, the museum was equipped with new multimedia equipment: audio guides, signage, ambient sound and interactive videos. A new way to show the collection to new generations. After the death of Jesús, in 2012, his family and the Lituénigo City Council keep his legacy alive and preserve this space in his memory and that of our ancestors.
