**Visted last week, It was closed temporarily due to land slide** 🙏 A majestic 45 m white-marble statue offering stunning island views from Nakkerd Hill. 🌅 Peaceful, spiritual, and perfect for photos. It was raining and foggy, weather was Nice and it is partly uphill, so visit early or at sunset. 🛕 Dress modestly—shoulders and knees covered. Some areas may be restricted, but still worth a visit for the views and calm vibe.

Even though The Big Buddha is currently closed, it’s still absolutely worth the visit — you can easily reach the parking area, which offers an astonishing panoramic view over the whole of Phuket, with a peaceful breeze and perfect photo spots. The road going up is also very pleasant, lined with small local businesses, cozy roadside cafés, and even a few elephant owners along the way, giving the whole trip a very authentic and charming local feel. You’ll also often find playful monkeys near the top, adding extra excitement to the experience 🐒🌿 A beautiful and memorable stop in Phuket!

The Big Buddha of Phuket is truly breathtaking. Sitting high on Nakkerd Hill and facing the ocean, the statue offers stunning panoramic views of the island and the Andaman Sea. The atmosphere is peaceful and spiritual — a perfect place for quiet reflection away from the busy beaches. The statue itself is impressive in size and beautifully crafted in white marble, shining brightly in the sunlight. A must-see landmark that captures both the beauty and serenity of Phuket.

The temple is not accessible for the moment due to an earth slide. We drove up to site anyways where we got a look at the side of the Buddah. It has monkeys and chickens in the parking lot which were the better reason for taking pictures. On the way up to the temple is an elephant tourist attraction with baby elephants separated from their family, chained to the ground and fenced off. All elephants showed stereotypes. We didn't stop for that animal abuse of course, I'm just mentioning it as it outrages me to still see such places being visited and suppoted by ignorant tourists.

Rate for the scenery where you can get Phuket city view one side and ocean view the other. Pity that the way up to The Big Buddha is closed for renovation until further notice… which is unknown.

We couldn’t get all the way up to the Buddha because of a landslide, which was a bit of an anticlimax, but the view was nice and there were some funny monkeys messing with the visitors. Luckily, the girl with the slingshot was nearby

We visited Wat Chalong Temple on 1st October as part of a city sightseeing tour with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The temple was one of the highlights of our trip. The entire premises were very clean and well maintained, with beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings. Wat Chalong is one of the most respected temples in Phuket and holds great importance in Thai culture. It’s dedicated to two highly revered monks, Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang, who played a key role in helping local people during the 19th-century rebellion. Their images are still worshipped here, and many locals visit to seek blessings for good health and peace. There are some shops inside the temple compound where you can buy souvenirs and local handicrafts at reasonable prices. Even our kids enjoyed exploring the temple grounds and the market area. Overall, Wat Chalong offers a blend of history, spirituality, and calm—definitely worth visiting when in Phuket. No charges for visiting this awesome place.

This place has really great view and the surroundings is also calm and quiet. Inside it has paintings of stories of King Siddharth becoming Buddha but in thai. Idols are also beautiful but some are not understandable. The view from the window is so scenic. Good place to relax your mind ..

Great market. Not as big as other in Bangkok but great selection, great crowd. Some tourist but mostly locals, so fun to be immersed in the culture. Soup was amazing along with everything we tried. There is a lot of commercialization of the souvenirs so just double check if you want "made in Thailand " stuff to take home.

There is a food area as well as a shopping area. It is very similar to chatuchak market. However, I find that there are alot of counterfeit luxury items stalls, infact almost half of them are. Food wise it was pretty decent, we had the live lobster that was around 700g which was 1200baht. There is alot of street type food if youre into that as well.

The food options are fantastic and super affordable; we tried pad Thai (70 THB), fried rice, Vietnamese spring rolls, and some tasty ribs. Everything was fresh and flavorful, with plenty of local twists. The market is lively but not overwhelming, and it’s easy to find something for everyone. For street food and a good bargain, this is definitely a must-visit in Phuket!

There are many dishes to try, items to buy, splendid theatres to enjoy, aquariums to visit, go-karting adventures, and occasional exhibits or events. The area is especially charming, stretching from the old central part to the new, where they constantly decorate depending on the event. I would also suggest adding a better arcade center with proper basketball, hockey, and rhythm games—that would be fun for all ages.

Huge mall near the old town, good for walking around and getting all your shopping done here at one go. Food prices might be a bit expensive for some of the restaurants but you can get cheaper options at the grocery store and food kiosks. This mall has everything. Two large pharmacies and Daiso and other stores. The bus to and from the old town leaves from the bus stop/exit near powerbuy. One tip if you want to save money on the bus coming from the bus in the old town bus station: take the pink bus number 3 going in the direction of Sapan Hin park, it’s only 15 baht for the ride. The tourist bus that goes to the airport and passes the mall will cost you 100 baht.

The food court is excellent and quite affordable, offering everything from Thai street food to international cuisine. There’s also a supermarket and plenty of cafes if you just want to take a break. It’s a great spot to cool down from the Phuket heat, and you can find almost everything you need in one place. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals!

This mall have a lot of brand and activities. Comparing to others mall in phuket, i think this is biggest and the lastest one. Good for entertain, shopping. They have two diffrent building matching for different segments

I loved the place. We are two pensioners but our inner child came to life. It was so nice to take pictures. The lady came to assist us and she took the pictures. We really appreciated it. She even made some suggestions. Thanks for their kindness. The entrance fee for adults was 500 Baht.

It's way cheaper if you buy your ticket on Agoda- we got 50% off for a non refundable ticket. We spend a good 3 hours taking photos. Took 1 stars off because my mom slipped as the floor was too slippery and hurt her back. Floor is too slippery, and wearing no socks doesn't help. Bring non-slip socks to wear as wearing shoes were not allowed. Another star off because there weren't any seating areas. Staff don't speak English, making communication difficult. It's fun to do with family & kids. I don't recommend elderlies unless they are fit. No elevators, you must be able to stand & walk.

We ended up going during a quiet time of the day and so we didn’t have any interference from other people at the museum which was good. We had our own personal guide throughout our journey in the museum, she showed us how to pose and where to stand, she took a picture of us at each artwork! The artworks are funny and great, and it’s a nice place for kids and adults. One downside is that there is not aircon inside, only fans, so you can get very hot very fast. Other than that, I think the entrance price of $15 is excellent, as we had our own guide who literally took all our pictures and I thought it was very worth it. I highly recommend to all travellers!

Great for $15 per person 1500 THB per person. There were a alot of awesome things on display here. The artwork is really cool and interesting/ interactive. If you get a chance you should visit. You can also pay by card and they have free parking right out front of the Museum. Definitely worth stopping by and a great great place for kids. I can't stress that enough. Had fun today! Thanks!

If you are in to clicking creative pictures, and love creativity, this is a must visit place. It is a small place, but one can easily spend 3 hours. A place loved by kids, to the fullest. Tip: book the ticket one day in advance, online to get some great deals.

A very calm place with lots of cool pictures and shades but the only problem is the fare 500 baht per person. If they would make their price as low as 100 baht people would be more attracted towards the museum.

This spot is a public walkable uphill trail of about 2 kilometers, ending with a beautiful Phuket view at the top. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature, and don’t mind a few friendly monkeys and dogs along the way, you’ll absolutely love it here. Just keep in mind that the walk uphill can be a bit challenging for some, but golf cart rides are available if you prefer to skip the climb.

Monkey Hill is a nice viewpoint in Phuket with great views over the city. It’s free to visit and there’s free parking at the base — you just need to walk about 1 km uphill to reach the top. Be careful with the monkeys; they can be aggressive, so don’t feed them and keep your belongings secure. A good spot for a short walk and scenic photos!

Good short hike with nice view on the city. A bit steep for some ppl but it was okey. We went during the rain but it was okey. Monkeys were good and polite. Ofc if u have bottle outside of your bag they will charge and try to steal it. Umbrella or thick stick is good protector against them. It is worth to go and see on your own. Follow the rules and everything will be okey.

My son and I love to go hiking at monkey hill alongside the local people. Just unhappy when I see tourists not respecting the rules and getting the monkeys excited and upset which can create drama. So please don't bring water with you cause the monkey ends up eating the plastic and fighting for it... Don't feed them their is staff mandated to feed them every day and this will again avoid an incident. walk near them stay quiet no big movement no food no water and it will be nice for everyone. You can get water at the top near the viewpoint. Or on the way back down coconut and fruits juice are available at the parking lot.

me and my bf went there pretty late and we were happy that there would be no tourists to torment the monkeys. apparently they dont need anyone to torment them as one of them crawled on my bf from behind for no reason🥲 leave the monkeys alone not worth visiting cause u may end up having to pay 200€ at a hospital for rabies shots like us✨

Nice and quite easy trail, the monkeys are everywhere and some of them will come after you if you are holding water or if you have food. Be careful since there is no security or anything. I recommend carrying a stick with you.

Several monkeys jumped toward people, and some felt threatened. There should definitely be better safety measures and security staff along the path to protect visitors. Until then, this place is not ideal for children, solo travelers, or anyone seeking a secure environment. ⚠️ Beautiful spot, but visit with caution.

It was a very good exhibit in its prime, but place needs a renovation. It is still beautiful in its own way, but it definitely needs more attention. Also, mosquitos are real trouble. We would enjoy it more if we hadn't been biten by mosquitos constantly. Would I suggest it sure it is a good place to see regional plants in one place but still current condition they charge more than it should cost...

Do not go there. The ticket is 500 thb for devastated and overgrown- so to call 'garden'. This place has not been kept tidy since years.. nothing there. Demolished and devastated areas, abandoned plants like bonsai trees or orchids garden. There's nothing to see. it's such a shame because the place has potential, but owners ruined it already and charged a massive fee for nothing. Btw, animals kept in terrible conditions. Also, very dangerous road and deteriorated wooden decks with holes in it all around, easy to trip over, or break your leg. Shame shame shame..

Don’t waste your time and money. This place is not what it used to be as I remember it 5 years ago. Today it looks abandoned. Dry and dead plants, destroyed boardwalks that can literally break your legs. What once was a great place to visit now just makes you sad. The manager was very apologetic and issued us a refund. I hope the place finds a new owner that cares and it bounces back to its former glory.

The experience for sure not worth 500 B. We entered through the side, not main entrance, although it was the middle of the day. The place looks abandoned. There was no one inside, no guests, no keepers. By the end of the walk which took about an hour we saw one Thai man who did not speak English. Plants did not look taken care of and some facilities should for sure be restored. We enjoyed our time there, just not worth the money. If you come inside, feed the fish for sure, they seemed very hungry. You might have a better experience if you’re an influencer looking for cute pics spots or if you bring a beer or lunch to stay longer and sit down. But beware of insects which will eat you alive, bring long sleeves or a repellent.

Very big variety of plants and trees but not worth the 500 baht for the entrance. There are several theme parks (with just palm trees or cactus for example) but there are only a few name tags on them, so you don't really know what you are seeing. Also there are too many mosquitoes, which is kinda expected, ok.

I was the only visitor at 11am. Certainly nothing very special in here. I needed some quiet time. Which I mostly got. Except for the piped music. The themed gardens look a little bit like a 14 year old did them for a rushed school project. If you need a break from too much city noise. Go. In the jungle, among the mountains, there is one of the highest points of the island, on which a very unusual and beautiful structure resembling a space station is erected - the Khao Rang observation deck. This market made my visit to Thailand worth every penny once again! The food that the street serves will always push you to come back to this place even more! Also, the vendors and their hospitality is something we don’t get to experience elsewhere. The food was soo delicious and quality wise, I couldn’t wish better.. try food from every stall. Dont miss the bbq crocodile meat 😍 and the korean honey fried chicken or something (do not remember the exact name). This street is comparatively cheaper than rest of the streets in Phuket. (Sat / Sunday nightfoodmarket) but I also recommend going there during the week to enjoy the beautiful colourfull buildings and have a drink or a good coffee and cakes in one of the good hangouts there.. have a look at Phuket "classic Thai house museum" if you want to dive deeper into history .. because Phuket has more to tell .. tru the Ohiket loval dessert - freshly made in front of your eyes - try!! On weekend it is quite crowded and busy..

I loved this place !!! You’ll enjoy it but keep in mind it’s a very busy busy busy place and they sell a lot of cool things and I think you’ll need to carry cash I’m not sure if all booths take cashless pay.

Very busy Sunday market with lots of foods and local souvenirs. There are also several live music performances ranging from local Thai music to alternative versions of pop music. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area on a Sunday afternoon/evening.

I highly recommend you go Lard Yai. It is a place worth visiting. Lard Yai (Walking Street in Phuket) is the popular place to visit. There are variety of food like local Thai foods, drinks, snacks, Thai fruits. There have shop selling Phuket desserts, such as A-pong and O-aew. There have shop ice cream with local Phuket desserts. Around Lard Yai have many cafes with different styles. Lard Yai have many workshops like gel candles, paint Patik cloth, and plaster. There have shops selling souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, artwork, and handicrafts. The street attracts many tourists, both Thai people and foreigners. There are singing and dancing performances featuring Thai music, international music. In Lard Yai have Sino-Portuguese architecture that adds to the charm of Phuket province, blending Eastern and Western art beautifully. The street is adorned with beautiful mural. It is a good place to take photo. The Sino-Portuguese architecture is very beautiful. Lad Yai open only Sunday from 4p.m. to 11p.m. There are some disadvantages. At night, the street becomes crowded. There will be lots of cars driving by. Don’t rush or jaywalk. It difficult to walk and find parking. There is no designated eating area with tables at the market but you could stand off to the side next to the shops to eat your food.

The show was amazing, the dolphins and seals are very well trained and their trainers were also doing stunts with them. The dolphins could draw also that was the highlight. At the end they also let you take pictures with dolphins and seals at additional cost around 500 to 1000. They let you swim with the dolphins at additional cost.. Overall it's a good one time experience.

This was hands down the highlight of my Phuket trip! The show totally blew my expectations out of the water (pun intended). The seals and dolphins are absolutely adorable — smart, sassy, and better trained than most humans I know. The presenter and trainers deserve a standing ovation — they kept the crowd hooked from start to finish. We went for the deluxe seats because, well, we like dolphins but not dolphin showers. Luckily, our seats (D100–101) were in the “dry zone,” safely out of splash range. I did, however, witness several brave souls — mostly women with perfect makeup — getting lovingly destroyed by the dolphins’ enthusiasm. Let’s just say waterproof mascara is a must here if you are going for VIPP/VIP seats Overall, an unforgettable and hilarious experience. Even if you’re adults, don’t skip it — just maybe bring a towel… or a sense of humor!

It's a nice place for families to see dolphins' and seals' show. There are different seats with different prices. However, I think regular seats are good because the circus is small and the seats are closed to each other. There are three shows daily except Mondays.

If you’re visiting Phuket, do not miss this spot. It’s a sure shot “smiling for the next 45mins” show. We visited this place with our toddler and he was beyond elated to see dolphins dance better than a professional dancer. They also advise you to take the deluxe tickets(third row), as the super deluxe(front/second row) can leave you and your child drenched in salt water due to the harsh water splashes. It’s cutesy yet amazing! You can buy the tickets on the spot from the counters.

I was there for a month and absolutely loved it: The Muay Thai was as amazing as expected, but I dropped into the 9:30am no-gi Jiu Jitsu class and it was outstanding. The session was well structured—efficient warm-up, clear technique breakdowns, and plenty of purposeful rounds to apply what we learned. Big shoutout to guest coaches Oscar and Sophie: their coaching chemistry is awesome. The vibe was friendly but competitive, perfect for travelers and regulars alike. Highly recommend this class whether you’re sharpening comp game or just leveling up while in Phuket.

I came to Tiger to train for 5 weeks and loved my expirence here. I was specifically impressed with the juijitsu. As a complete beginner I learned alot in my short time here thanks to Oscar and Sophie who were really great teachers. The lessons were very enjoyable and they took the time to walk me through every submission and technique to make sure I was performing the techniques correctly which I was very grateful for. I will definitely come back to Tiger to train Muay thai and juijitsu again. Awesome gym and even better teachers.

Was here for about 4 weeks and had such a great time training here! All the coaches were really talented and nice. But want to give a special shout out to Oscar woes in charge of the evening BJJ classes. he’s super skilled, easy to understand, and makes training fun while keeping everyone included. You can tell he really cares about helping people improve. It was also great that he had his partner with him, really nice and talented as well, always there to help if you didn’t quite get something. Overall, just a really positive and motivating experience!

I had an amazing time training at Tiger Muay Thai. The atmosphere is super motivating, and everyone here is so welcoming. I trained both Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu during my stay, and I loved every bit of it. The Muay Thai sessions were intense but fun, the coaches really know how to push you while keeping the energy high. And the Jiu-Jitsu classes with Oscar and Sophie were next level. They’re honestly some of the best coaches I’ve ever had incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and great at breaking down techniques in a way that makes everything click. You can really tell how passionate they are about teaching and helping everyone improve. Also have to mention the tiger grill food was fantastic! Great quality, healthy options, and perfect after a long day of training. Overall, Tiger Muay Thai completely exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re here to train hard or just improve your skills while meeting awesome people, this place has it.

My experience at Tiger Muay Thai has been amazing. I came here with no experience, and all the coaches have been incredibly supportive. For my first time trying BJJ, Oscar has made everything approachable—always taking a moment to help with specific techniques I struggle with. Sophie’s guidance in the beginner classes has also been great. They complement each other really well, and their coaching styles help everyone (no matter their level) get the most out of each session and progress quickly. Highly recommend!

We spent four weeks at Unit 27 this summer and we absolutely loved it! Thank you so much to the wonderful coaches - Cory, Sean, Tamika, Giggy, Mr Oh and New Year. The classes are great fun, brilliant atmosphere in the gym and the coaches are so helpful. We would recommend Unit 27 to people of all levels of fitness.

Back to unit 27 again 2 years later since visiting in 2022. Still the best friendly gym in chalong. Love the way they operate with credit buying system. Did the morning 8am session daily for a full week. Fav gym in chalong! Back here to this area for the 2nd time and tried our unit 27 this round. It has a great online credit purchase system that allows you to book the classes according to what u want. Great facilities, nice big space, great trainers too. Love this place. Will be back again !

If you want a transformative experience, this is it. Highly recommend spending a month on the street and attending a class or two every day at Unit 27 - it will change your life. Classes are suitable for beginners all the way to advance athletes. The coaches are great, the community is inspiring and the staff is very polite. Best $$$ I've ever spent.

Kalorie Killer class was super tough but a good workout. However rather than an uplifting, motivating atmosphere it was a pretty unfriendly & backwards culture of picking on people / punishing for not doing the exercises well! I struggled with the dumbbell weight for the shoulder press, and the trainer assumed I was slacking and said “don’t worry babe I got eyes everywhere”. Don’t really appreciate being called out in front of others!! Understand these classes are supposed to be challenging, it was a great workout. But I don’t agree with calling people out & setting “punishments” for those who are struggling. Even showing up to one of these classes & trying your best is amazing and should be celebrated!

Really good gym. Good place to waste your money on a crossfit class you can do by yourself, but if you're into that sort of thing , then it's perfect. The trainers aren't really qualified or knowledgeable like most crossfit places, but they're really nice and personable. If you know what you're doing you can just pay the regular gym fee and do your own thing. Well equipped. edit- qualifying for the crossfit games doesn't qualify you as a trainer. I have done my fair share of crossfit. Enough to say that it's not good for you. I have been a trainer for over 15 years and have worked with physiotherapist and highly qualified trainers from around the world. Before that I was a world class kickboxer. Crossfit is not an ideal way to train. It's a fantastic way to get injured. I know from experience. Trainers should never push people they don't know. Motivation is one thing, but to tell someone to work harder or faster when you have no knowledge of their physical issues is a sign of an inexperienced trainer. Your gym is good, your trainers are fine, good athletes, just not experts in proper training. That's all I'm saying, but as soon as you said they are qualified because they were in the games I had to speak up. I could pick you apart if you like. I was giving you a good review considering.

By far one of the best intense workouts on fitness street. It’s reasonably priced if you are doing a drop in session compared to near by Muay Thai gyms Deathrow and grenade are for the hardcore fitness fanatics. Coach’s are nice, but they do tell you to leave before the warm ups if you think you can’t handle it

I've been training at unit for 4 years . It is the best place on the soi for stamina and weight training. A lot of the classes are highly intensive classes. Coaches are high-class and very professional! It's a great community, and like-minded people come here. There's a variety of different types of classes. Metcon is a stamina and bodyweight class. Morning glory/drill Sergent is a class in your own tempo. A mixture of weight and cardio. Kalorie Killer is a class with stations. And after finishing one round, you'll get a punishment. Punisher is basically the same but punishment after every 6th station. Sink or swim is a roar class. Tour de unit is a assault bike class. Rapid fire is a class that is more strength focused. Monday is lower body Tuesday is endurance Wednesday is power Thursday is upper body Friday is circut (mixture of all) Saturday is a team one Then you have crossfit Mondays leg day Tuesday upper body Wednesday skill Thursday deaslift Friday a partner class Saturday hero wod which is a mixture of everything.

Windmill Viewpoint in Phuket is truly one of the best hidden gems on the island. Unlike the more crowded Karon Viewpoint, this place feels underrated and far less touristy, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. What makes Windmill Viewpoint special is how clear and expansive the scenery is. It’s an ideal spot if you’re looking to take amazing photos, as the natural light, the sea view, and the quiet atmosphere all combine to create picture-perfect moments. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or just someone who loves capturing memories, this viewpoint will not disappoint. The area itself is peaceful and not too commercialized, so you can actually take your time to relax and soak in the view without rushing. It’s also a great place to sit for a while and simply enjoy the calmness and beauty of Phuket’s coastline. Overall, Windmill Viewpoint is an excellent spot that deserves more recognition. Stunning view of Ya Nui and Nai Han beach. There is small building area that keep you from the sun. The way up to view point is quite steep but easy to drive up. Small car park , around 10 cars.

We took a boat trip and experienced the Marina. It was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. Can't comment on rooms as we didn't stay there.

We are very disappointed with the behavior of the security team. Our reservation was canceled immediately without anyone speaking to us or explaining the situation. Additionally, we didn't even get refund as we payed 22000 i don't recommend to visit this place, they are liers

Nice The islands around Royal Phuket Marina are amazing.. the water is so clear and the scenery is like something from a postcard. I joined a couple of boat trips and honestly the James Bond Island trip was the best one.. even better than Phi Phi. The limestone cliffs, caves, and the whole vibe there felt special.. less crowded and more enjoyable. Phi Phi was beautiful too.. but for me James Bond Island had that wow factor. The boat ride itself was comfortable, the stops along the way were fun, and we got plenty of time to take photos and just relax. What I liked most is how easy everything was from Royal Phuket Marina.. clean, well organized, and a perfect starting point for exploring. It made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.. definitely a highlight of my time in Phuket.

This Harbour is beautiful. Located not far from the town centre itself, except there's traffic in that area. It has a long driveway which is scenic with some greenery on both sides. When you arrive at the drop off site, the personnel are easily visible and proactive. They direct you towards the station you are looking for. We went to transfer to Yona Beach Club, and the service there was also efficient, with a drink and cute seats while we waited.

The service was excellent from start to finish—everything was very well organized and the staff were professional and friendly. The boat we took to the Phi Phi Islands was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

We went to Yona beach club from this point, easily reachable by Cab/Taxi but no cab service available at night for return.
