Amazing place, if you leave or have a holiday here, it's great to see. You can get to the open air museum and after visiting it go to the trail that starts on the left side of the entrance (you'll see the blue sign and stair). It's a huge area around and a lot of ancient places there. Sunrise are breathtaking. Love this place.
Not the easiest place to reach with the autobus in my opinion but there are some ways, but worth a visit if you’re on that side of the city. The ticket cost 2,5€. You have a bunch of ruins you can walk in between with explanatory signs. Nice at sunset as we did, you can walk back (and even reach so) to the main area walking in a designated path over the hill. You also have a nice walkable path on the water a bit further down.
this place is not visited by the majority of the tourists. It has a guide that you can scan but it's not audio. you need to find a bench and study it inside the park. the price of the entrance is 2.5€
Love this simple archeological site, with 3 place to enjoy, 2 are free. A hot bit not difficult climb to the Acropolis, the forum/αγορά area, and the boardwalk to observe the area sunken in the sea.
If you love history and anticien places, you will love this. It is better to visit the place right before the sunset, when it is not too hot, and you will see everything in color. Don’t forget to got up to the hill to see other parts of the antient city and visit the museum to see what was found there. If you are man of the history - you will like it for sure.
interesting archeological site of an ancient ruined city. really nice to see the old bathhouse. quite small but cheap entrance
Enjoyed this ancient site a lot because I knew nothing about it before visiting and I learned loads from the informative boards at the entrance about the history. The ruins themselves are very impressive, especially the nyphareum and the baths. You can freely walk around most of the old houses and the forum itself for great close up views. Entrance fee of 2.50 euros is a bargain and if you're a senior, it's even better. Best of all, we were all alone at the site for most of our visit, so we really had a chance to visualize it as it might once have been.
Nice place, easy access to archeological remains in addition to a perfect view of Limassol
