The only river cave in Greece. Very peculiar place and a pleasant guided talk. 7 Euro entrance fee for adults and 4 for kids.
It is a very beautiful cave, quite long and wide, with a beautiful river inside, very well prepared for visitors, and a nice park outside. I 100% reccomend a visit.
Amazing experience. Everyone who comes to have vacation 100km around, worth the effort to come and walk in this amazing cave. The tour lasts 40 minutes, it is flat and easy to walk (we did it with two kids 4 and 6 years old). Needs a light jacket (17° celcious). You go in small groups of around 30 people and need to wait a while for people to gather.
A unique cave. Inside the cave it is cool with a temperature of 17 degrees. There is a café nearby.
This is the most interesting thing to visit. Outside temperature 37° inside temperature 15°, the feeling is great, great experience 👌. Highly recommended
Very beautiful cave with a lot of things to see, excellent for small children as it is not very long to walk. The only minus is that the tour was not in English.
This is one of the first cave/caverns I have ever been in, and if I could give it six stars I would. It is spectacularly breathtaking. It goes into the mountain about 500 m and you must take a guide. There is a river running through it, and it is the only river cave in Greece. There is evidence of bones from 30,000 years ago, but until they discovered it in the '80s, there is no evidence that any men have been inside. There are a few species of animals and insects that are particular to this cave which makes it very cool. They don't allow cameras or especially flash photography, but the guy was nice enough to allow us to do it.
Don’t miss. Impressing cave. Unique. The tour and the guide.
