BENDT Distilling was a surprising gem. We received tour tickets as a gift and were delighted with the experience. I did not have high expectations when we pulled unto the lot, but inside I found a well appointed lounge area and well organized merchandise selection. We sipped on some excellent barrel aged Kolsch beers while waiting for the tour to start. Our guide Chris was knowledgeable and personable, providing a great overview of operations at the distillery and the many types of liquors they produce. Moving on into a tasting, we were pleasantly surprised when all of the four offerings plus cake bite were balanced and delicious. Before leaving this former Piggly Wiggly converted to a higher purpose, we enjoyed a slice of their house made whiskey cake, and purchased a bottle of Bourbon Cream and Pecan Old Fashioned. The first we plan on enjoying in our coffee and the second as a nightcap or perfect after dinner complement. I expect we will return, both to restock and enjoy some of their libations with friends.
WOW!!! Huge comfortable location with lots of indoor seating for big groups or soft comfy chairs for more intimate conversation. There’s a large outdoor area with shade and seating when the weather is nice. The food was amazing and fresh. We had the pimento dip, spinach dip, charcuterie meat and cheese board and the chicken salad sandwich in rosemary focaccia. Everything was delicious and the sandwiches are large portions so share or be prepared to take some home. My husband enjoyed the whiskey flight and a port old fashioned. I had the peanut butter cup which was a dessert cocktail and delicious. I also had the Hemingway which I was told had grapefruit in it which I don’t care for but I tried it because the bartender explained the grapefruit was more to balance the flavors and wasn’t strong and she was right, this was probably my favorite drink. I concluded my visit with the espresso martini which had a bourbon cream finish on top and it was delicious especially if you like a rich coffee flavor, yum! There was not a bad note in this whole place! Maybe the shining star of it all was the service and how kind everyone is. Destiny made our drinks and brought over our food and was the sweetest person. Her knowledge of the menu and her drink suggestions were perfect! Even though it’s 30 minutes away for us, we will be back often!!!!!!
Great tour of BENDT Distillery! The tasting was great, all of their product is amazing and great quality. The tour was insightful and well led.
Took a tour here for fiance's birthday. it was so much fun and informative! Lee the tour guide was sweet and super knowledgeable. we bottled our own whiskey, such a fun experience and lovely staff
We had a great experience here. Highly recommend trying out the bacon and whiskey flight. Great combinations. Bacon is homemade and thick! We went on a Sunday and it was very chill. Not a lot of people. Appetizers are good and portions are reasonable. Shuffleboard table and lots of seating. Staff friendly, dining area and restrooms clean.
We had a great time here. They are family friendly. My wife and I tried the whiskey flights. While my wife and I enjoyed our tasting my son and I played shuffle board, tank was not level but it was still very fun. Afterwards the wife and I had a cocktail, and they made my sone a mock tail. The do not have tours during the week but you could still see the distillery and the barrels in the “rick house “. Would go back there!
Just did a tour of the distillery with Chris as our guide. Great tour. Super nice folks. Natasha Bendt was very accommodating to our group. Great tasting afterwards. 6 stars
I will give BENDT Distilling 5 Stars for what they do. The tour was remarkable. John was personable and delivered the information in a light, sometimes humorous, easy to understand format. The whole place smells amazing and is very clean. BENDT has processes that are slightly different from what I have seen in other tours, but they stand behind their philosophies and the quality of their products speak for themselves. Our cocktails from the bar were absolutely impeccable!! The recipes they offer are genius and perfectly mixed to perfection with complete balance and quality. Now, the negative.... and this is a personal issue, and many will not view this as an indictment on BENDT, which is why I believe they do still deserve 5 Stars. BENDT has dismal food offerings. We began to order food, and our server stated that he "would have to check on the food situation." He never returned. The food offerings are light. I would have easily spent $500 last night (easily would have ordered 10-15 cocktails between the two of us and dinner) if they had steaks or chicken and maybe a gourmet salad selection. I understand that BENDT is a distilling company and not a restaurant, but I will say that I was disappointed that we had to leave to eat dinner. Yes, it was poor planning on our part as we should have done dinner first, but then we would not have done the 5pm tour, but that is the latest tour time they offer on Saturday.

Looking for fun on a budget??! You’ve found the right place. It was a family day of teenagers and toddlers and this place was just what we were looking for. Go karts were the best experience ever! We could ride individually or as teammates. They even had Jr karts for my toddler and he loved it! We also tried the putt putt and those courses are extremely fun as well. The best part is... they will match whatever special you see on they website. We didn’t have time to pay online or print anything off so I screen shot it and brought it in. They are awesome staff and all. Highly recommended!
We had a great time here. We took our son to play miniature golf. It was busy, but everything still moved smoothly. We will definitely be back to visit again.
Cool place for fun day with younger kids Very cheap , 2 players for 20$ will get 2hours gold and go carts + 25 for video games
Excellent place for the whole family... the go karts are the main entertainment but if the little ones are not in the moon for those or don't have the height enough the mini golf is a good option too, plus there is a jumping house for the toddlers.. the only reason I dont give 5 stars is there isn't enough shade out there, and the rooms for birthdays parties are a little space limited.
Great special going on right now. You get 10 minutes on the go karts, a round of golf, and a large slice of pizza or a jumbo hot dog with chips, and a bottle of water for $12.00. We had alot of fun!!
Had a great time at Zone Action Park. Drove go carts on a nice track and staff was very nice, putt putt golf was very challenging and topped it all off with some games.
There were two sections for younger kids and older kids to go cart, there's miniature golf and batting cage, we spent a good 1 1/2 there. It was fun for our young kids.
Fun place for the kiddos. Cart racing, mini golf and more. UFO Buster Radio approved 👍👽

Nature preserve
Nature & Parks
Scenic nature preserve offering a visitor center, walking trails, fishing, camping, kayaking & more.
Slide 1 of 8
Great place for a nature hike, walk or run (or even just sitting and enjoying nature). Family friendly, although some of the trails aren’t great for strollers. Cottonwood trail is a good one for stroller. Cicada trail is a personal favorite, short but lots of signs with nature knowledge and fully shaded. There are maps available on entry that are pretty clearly marked with all the routes. Bathrooms are all porta potties but at least they are available at all the parking lots. Visitor center is only opened on weekends (staffed by volunteers) but weekdays are nice for enjoying the trails in peace!😊
Pretty good overall. Really nice running/hiking/walking trails. The Riverside walks are great. While there are some pretty spots the primary downside is somewhat unavoidable, the fact that there are massive power lines running all through the park, makes it hard to really feel like a nature preserve. But it is what it is; I’ll still come back because it’s nice to get into nature close to the city.
We had an amazing time! The nature and tranquility were incredible! It was so serene and peaceful allowing us to explore and enjoy one another’s company while creating stories about what may have been and what could be.
Very pretty with clear trails. The biggest issue for me was that they had closed trails that shortened the distance you can walk. Not sure how long it will be that they are down but, it really limited how much you could see.
I am a fisherman and love this place. Water is pretty clear if you can see past the ripple. Fish are really healthy. I went on and saw a decent number of carp/buffalo fish. I caught a few small Large Mouth Bass and also some bluegill.
Love this place! It has great fungi and, although I’m not a kayaker, it looks like it has a decent kayak trail.
Really nice place and many spots for a picnic lunch along the trails.. Only $5 to get in and NO CASH card only
Beautiful spot for a hike! Nice and cool on a fall afternoon 🍁

Thank you Hop and Sting Brewing Company for hosting The DFW Labrador Retriever Rescue Club. What a fun event, and a fabulous day! Thank you to all of the volunteers at the DFW Lab Rescue as well, you all are doing an amazing job! This event was fun for the fur babies, their parents, and those hoping to either foster or adopt. Love the pizza food truck as well! Great brewery, great beers, service was excellent. Thank you for a fun filled day!
Great atmosphere with good beer. I am generally a fan of hazy IPAs, but their version is slightly too hoppy for me. I did see a wheat beer on the menu. I should’ve tried it. Maybe next time.
This is hands-down one of the best breweries in DFW! Hop & Sting has such a welcoming and laid-back vibe—perfect for relaxing with friends or even meeting new ones. The beer selection is top-tier; everything I tried was crisp, creative, and super fresh. I especially loved their IPAs and seasonal releases. There’s always something going on—live music, trivia nights, or food trucks that actually serve amazing food (not just the usual bar fare). The staff is super friendly and really knows their beer. You can tell they care about both the craft and the community. Also, the outdoor area is huge and dog-friendly, which is a big win for me. Whether you’re a craft beer nerd or just want a chill spot to hang out, Hop & Sting nails it. I’ll definitely be back again and again!
This place is fantastic! In addition to great beer, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and there are good food choices from either food trucks or their in house chef! They also give back to the community and offer fun theme nights and great live music!
We rode our bicycles here from The Gaylord Texan Resort. It’s a short ride even with beach cruiser bikes, but it was hot. This brewery was a nice refuge of shade, cool air, friendly people, and of course, refreshing beer. They have a nice courtyard and indoor seating. The beer selection was top notch. I don’t normally go for wheat beer, but the heat demanded hydration. I tried the blood orange first and then the regular wheat. Both were amazingly tasty and easy to drink. After hydrating we checked out the food truck. Everyone around us were enjoying delicious looking food and the smell of smoked meat filled the air. I tried the beef brisket and my wife had a smoked Turkey sandwich. Both were phenomenal, as was the apple Gorgonzola slaw! I not only love this place, it is also worth a trip to try their beer. The little downtown of Grapevine is full of cool boutique style stores and wineries as well. Make an afternoon of it!
The Christmas Cookie Ale was amazing!! Great balance of sugar cookie flavor but not overly sweet, could easily do a couple pints! Also enjoyed the Wicked Stout, Hefeweizen and Octoberfest were good too.
Our family loves finding family friendly breweries, restaurants, etc. We were excited to find Hop and Sting and enjoyed our time here. We arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday and were able easily find a seat outside. The outdoor area is nice even when it’s a bit hot out because it’s pretty shaded with trees and lots of umbrellas. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of seating inside so we’re glad it’s shaded but we were unsure if the office area that is in a separate building is also used for seating… the door was open to this building and there were tables but that was a little unclear to us. We absolutely loved the beer selection. The first Saturday we went there were (2) different live musicians. The second musician a reggae performer was awesome! He was interactive with the crowd and at one point had all the kids performing with him. While the food trucks all have great service.. very friendly folks! There’s not enough variety especially for families … both trucks (diff times of the day) on the first Saturday and 1 on the second were all BBQ and not kid friendly. These would be our one request is more variety and options for kids!
Great beer, great food truck, and live music all in one place!!! Win-win!! Vaqueros barbecue was there for our last visit. They do meat right!!! The burrito is stuffed full of goodness—meat, cheese, beans, yum. The tacos are tasty! We went with flights for the beers because there are so many tasty ones to try. They will let you sample if you’re not sure. The live music was an added bonus! Dogs are very welcome. You may want to get an extra taco for Rover.

Theater peeps! I haven't been to see any shows in a while but my fiance is in Uncle Vanya! I love the atmosphere of this theater!
The theater is a charming renovated movie house. As such, don't expect a Bass Hall experience from the building. Nor will you pay Bass Hall prices. BE AWARE YOU ENTER FROM THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE BUILDING! ALSO, IT MAY BE COLD, but you can grab a blanket in the lobby on you way in. The quality of the show (Ragtime) was quite high with enjoyable performances from the cast, even though the show is dark. Bravo for reaching for something with more depth and doing it so well. Definitely will be on the lookout for future shows!
As a visual artist, I love this place. Did somebody say "plays"? I've been to a few plays here and they were hilarious, fun, engaging and just fantastic! I think I'm going to need season tickets. Oh, and being a member of VAL (Visual Art League of Lewisville), I get to participate along with other artists, having my art hung on the wall, and for sale. Nice! I celebrated my birthday here and had an amazing time. Y'all gotta come see a show. Don't forget to look at the beautiful display of flowers outdoors. Have fun. The theater is small and quite quaint. Nice outing!!
I'd give it a 5...service, food...BUT...while I realize that gratuity is included...and I add to that...there's always...every time!...a mistake in their favor on my check.
We saw Young Frankenstein there and it was a great musical . Highly recommend it . Very talented casts and musicians.
This was my first time to visit The Greater Lewisville Community Theater. It's seating is limited, but nice. The air conditioning works well as it was 101 outside, and about 68 inside. "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" was surprisingly entertaining. The performers were well rehearsed and extremely talented. Well worth the money.
This is an awesome theater with great productions. Whether you're looking to see something new or even want to join it's community, this place is dope.

Love strolling through WFP! Beautiful water features, native plants and flowers, and great music. Excited for construction to finish up so more shops can come to downtown Lewisville.
We visited here to get a piece of mind and listen to the water, but the fountain wasn’t on, so we just walked for a little and took pictures with Wayne
A great place to bring kids to play and walk around the square. There is a small natural play scape and a small splash pad during the summertime. They hold various events and concerts here too.
Beautiful park located at the center of Lewisville. An ideal place for a casual walk and quiet place where you can unwind. Available seating throughout the park. Locals usually come here to walk their dogs or bring friends or family for a walk. There are shops, bars and restaurants nearby if you prefer to be more active. This is perhaps the most iconic place to visit if you are in town
Enjoyed the I Tina show. The weather was just right and the performance 🎭 was VERY Entertaining. I wish were in town when Don Diego will appear. Also will miss the Elton John review. Keep this wonderful venue alive with all this great local talent 👏
Concert in the park every Tuesday during the summer. It's become a tradition since I moved to the area! Thank you for doing this, keep it up! The boardwalk and fountains are beautiful, especially lit up at night.
This is a nice place to hangout and I love that the City of Lewisville puts on a concert series in the summer. It's also decorated nicely during Christmas time with a huge tree! There are also some cool places to eat or have coffee and more around the park. Check it out if you can.
I went to watch the eclipse. The place is very pretty have a fountain around the square. They have many activities and gifts. The square have around a lots of small business

Let me tell you something… this is a very special place. The ACT is a group of people who care, who are good at what they do and who have a great time doing it. Grateful for them and we can’t wait for the next show!
My family has enjoyed this children's theater for many years. They know how to keep kids the priority and we've had nothing but positive experiences as audience and cast members!
We attended Lion King last evening. The production and performance was outstanding!! This was a wonderful experience. Thank you for a job well done with the actors and actresses!!
ACT is a home away from home for the kids and families that participate there. It is a healthy place for kids to find social connections built on teamwork and respect and a place where ambitious kids can grow and take on bigger challenges when ready. The parents are involved, by design, in the ACT community, and some of my best friendships have developed there. The business team there is solid and wonderful with the kids. Finally, and most unique, there is no child that cannot find their place there. The values of the nonprofit company are inclusiveness and kindness from the ground up. They do all of this through professional theatre and dance backgrounds, combined with big hearts! Come out for a show to see it in action!
So fun to watch these young actors. They do a great job teaching! The place runs smoothly. Super enjoyable!
Cute little theater full of cute young ones (and some old ones too) and performing cute shows. This place is filled with positive energy, enthusiasm, and lots of entertainment.
I perform here, and everyone is so sweet and caring. They don't force you to do anything. And, best thing, everyone gets in!
It's the best. Granddaughter participated in a summer camp ending with three shows on Saturday 11am, 2 & 6 pm. It was an outstanding performance by all!! Would highly recommend this little community theater. Please support..

Made a pilgrimage for the Jubilee Year of Hope at this beautiful church about two weeks ago while visiting the Dallas area. The church is newly built and was full of very friendly and welcoming parishioners. The priest was very influential with his homily and I enjoyed the music. I have recommended others to come and visit especially this year as it is the Jubilee Year of Hope. Thanks for welcoming us into your parish.
Beautiful church. Ice cold AC. Wonderful organ, wonderful choir. Armed guard at the front - kindly welcoming everyone while keeping things safe. This is Texas. Pure Catholic tradition. Ritualistic. Customary. The real deal - not some watered-down version chasing trends. Just centuries of liturgy that actually works. Bottom line: they're here using their gifts for good. Can everyone get better? Of course. But if you're the type giving low stars to people genuinely trying to serve - the problem isn't them.
Newly built Catholic Church with a lovely, respectful Mass. They are adding the stained glass windows over time, and the first one placed is the Nativity scene.
I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I've been serving my mission in Texas for a while and me and my companion were invited to come to the Catholic church by some very kind people who we knocked into! It was my first time going to a Catholic church so I was very excited. We came to the 9:00 session and the lady's at the tent had a spirit of love and happiness which brought a great impression! The Ushers were very kind, especially Charles who shook our hands while we were already seated. and I had LOADS of questions which Mark (the financial manager for the tithing money) and Janene, his wife, who managed to answer pretty much all of them! I was thinking on giving a 4 star from some of the interactions we had, but decided not to. One of Marks friends who's name I won't say, wasnt saying the kindest things to us. She said "I know Mormons who have converted to Catholicism" "all churches have bad apples. YOUR church has bad apples, we have bad apples in ours sometimes" especially when I was mentioning how cool it was that both our churches believe in proper authority, she stated her thoughts insinuating that the authority my church had was basically false. I don't believe that... So I felt slightly threatened and mocked for what I believe which really took away from the experience of learning about other churches. but Its ok, I expected something of the sort since im showing up to another church as a representative of my own church. The lady's outside the building said a prayer with us and it made me smile again! The service was great. I Would come back! Especially to say hi to some of the friends we made there!
St Philip the Apostle is our home church. We always feel welcomed and safe there. Its a new, beautiful Catholic church (moved from Lewisville area) that is still expending. Agree on the operation hours but I believe that the new chapel will resolve that issue in the future.
I really want to like this church, but it’s like Luke warm water. It’s not bad but it’s also not good. The homily’s are soulless, monotone, and empty. A lot of times you are unable to hear/ or understand the priest. They start mass at the back of the church before the procession which is non-traditional and very odd. The church is relatively small considering the size of the lot it sits on and the community it serves. You have to show up really early or you will have to stand in the back. Also no matter where you park there is usually a long walk from the parking lot to the church doors. Recently they discontinued the nursery which makes it even more difficult for parents with young children.
It’s hard to hear any of the readings or the homily when the audio is turned down so low and in addition there is no family room for crying babies. The cantor has the longest Sanctus and Agnis Dei I have ever heard at any Parish so it is extremely difficult to sing along. They do not celebrate the Eucharist with the blood of Christ at all.

Good theatre for dance performance. Modern art exhibition. Good place to visit with kids. Plenty of space and parking.
The Zion Dance Projects performance was great. The venue was perfect. Great sound, lighting, and seats are comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
A good venue for hosting events and shows. Has ample public parking space around the theatre and spacious restrooms inside.
It was fantastic. I watched a part of a football game in that open space on that huge TV wanted to stay there, but the family had to go.
The theater inside is pleasing to the eye. Acoustics are good. Seating is comfortable. Went to see a ballet.
Have been here for several shows and have been very pleased with this facility and the entertainment options.
Amazing show, real talent. It was like being transported back in time to an era of romance and beauty and class.
This was my first trip into the Theatre and I have driven by 100’s of times. I attended comic night at the black box. The venue is great. The building was clean and comfy inside. This was a perfect “date night” with my wife. I highly recommend.

I am a member her but moved away to Ohio. I always love coming back. The people are very friendly and answer any questions u have. And they have a great youth program. The new preacher is great.
We have been attending Valley Ridge Church for the last 9 years and we couldn’t love it more. My children learn so much in the kid’s ministry, my husband and I have an amazing small group, and I love singing in the worship choir. We love the multigenerational aspect of this church and my kids have several “grandparents” to love on them and cheer them on, when their grandparents aren’t close by. The church has also given me opportunities to serve to Lord with my art, giving me a platform I wouldn’t otherwise have. I love that they champion people’s talents and think outside the box of how to plug people into service. From Pastor Josh’s dynamic preaching, to the incredible music Troy Freeman puts together, to the friends who have become family, we are so happy to call VRC our church home.
Great enviroment, friendly folks-the music and choir is superior! Pastor Josh delivers an informative, and uplifting messsge week after week that always provides inspirations of peace & happiness. a Great welcoming experience! Raymond
Valley Ridge Church is a vibrant blend of community for NextGen and all generations! Your family couldn't have a better church family.
I did not attend a service there. My friend is a member of a quilting group that meets there. The meeting building was beautiful.
Great community of people. Great area for anyone in your family to find a place to grow as Christ followers.
Awesome Conference & very nice facility to host it in! This church was so nice
We love First Baptist Lewisvile. We love the music. We are unique because we have choirs Not just for adults, but for children and youth as well. We love our new preacher and their young family. They have brought lots of love and energy into our church And they are living out their love for Jesus and it’s contagious. You should come join us.
