I went on the first Saturday of the month which has no admissions charge. Highly recommended! They have a very lovely collection of beautiful paintings, and the first floor history museum is so cute. They use the old boardwalks from the Amtrak station I believe down here in Stockton and they recreated the general stores from the early days of the city. They also have a very lovely collection of native American artifacts. Third floor is all advertising art from Leyendecker. I immediately fell in love with the very first painting from when you walk in.
A very enjoyable 90 minutes. They have quite a variety of exhibits, including some interesting old steam engines for fighting fires. The entrance fee is very reasonable and the staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable.
I visited this museum recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The building was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. There was a nice mix of exhibits, some really interesting artifacts, and a few interactive displays that made the visit more engaging. The staff were polite and available to answer questions, which I appreciated.
A great museum with a lot of oil painting masterpieces and local history exhibitions! Free admission every first Saturday of the month, quiet and well organized!
Very well done! It’s been some years since we last visited this museum & the improvements are quite impressive. The bright open interior accentuates the high ceilings, wood panel flooring, decorative moulding. The Fine Arts are beautifully showcased, telling an elegant story. The Historical Collection amazingly preserved. The Sci Fi Collection an amusing addition. Bonus: We went on “Free Saturday”, which happens once monthly.
Exceptional, quaint and intimate fine art museum! We were more than impressed with the collection at the Haggin. We strolled and took our time in each exhibit, taking in history and seriously magnificent works of art. The Haggin is a hidden gem not to be missed! I recommend the museum store for interesting gifts, too. Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No spoilers but there is a freaky trunk on the basement with a macabre story… Don't judge the museum by the outside, there is no parking lot, its surrounded by a park where many ppl go, but when I stepped in, it felt like a complete different World. A contrast of local history and old tractors with beautiful paintings and sculptures from late 1800. Downstairs the rooms you look in through a window are so incredibly well put together and your mind travels back in time for a bit. As well as amazing Native American art…Highly recommend a visit, park on the streets and walk through the park to the front door. Its great, Im telling you.
Beautiful little museum with exquisite artwork and displays. My favorite was the Leyendecker gallery. Under the Mexican Sky was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting to see actual Mexican artist/photographers with a lot of vibrant colors but it was dull. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Everyone that works there were very nice and knowledgeable.

Today, I enjoyed myself at the Adventist Health Arena‼️The Stockton Kings played Sioux Falls and it was a great game‼️The main reason for my visit was the Link Up Event‼️This is the second or third event held here and it's always amazing‼️ The Link Up Event is a Sneaker, Streetwear, and Vintage Clothing EXPO for the whole family‼️If you haven't, you should definitely check them out‼️ Their events are top-tier and always a treat to be apart of‼️All-in-all, the Arena is very nice, spacious, and I really love the elevators so I don't have to walk up all the stairs with my bad leg‼️
Great place for a comic con! Went here for my brother’s jujitsu tournament, then a comic con. Found a rare find and got the very first Deadpool comic!!!😎 And got a picture with a stormtrooper:0 It just took forever waiting in line, and I wish they would allow food and drinks to be brought in.
Stockton Arena, Now known as Adventist Health Arena, this venue has been a major part of Stockton's sports scene since 2005, previously hosting the Stockton Thunder (ECHL), Stockton Heat (AHL), and currently the Stockton Kings (NBA G League). While the arena offers modern upgrades like LED banners, a new jumbotron, and an improved sound system, attendance has declined in recent years. The departure of the hockey teams and lack of city support has weakened the strong community connection the arena once had. However, its location near the University Plaza Hotel makes it a convenient option for out-of-town visitors.
We went to go see jo koy and it was awesome. Sitting on the side and having to turn your head to look at the stage sucked. The seats are to close and there's not to much space to walk through. Parking sucked too. Had to walk a few blocks.
Went here for a little Wayne concert and Overall it was a good experience. Parking was easy and not too expensive. It cost 20ish not crazy but I’ve seen worse. Seats in the area were clean and comfortable. It had drink holders and they were spacious. Staff was very friendly and kept area clean. Bathrooms were nice and maintained. Someone broke off the paper towel dispenser and a worker came in and fixed it relatively quick. Food are expensive like any arena, 8.30 for a bottle of water after tax which wouldn’t have been bad it they had a bottle refill area but they didn’t. The only other bad thing was they had a good amount of water fountains but they were all Turned Off. absolutely criminal for that, like I get they need to make money but having them all shut off was devious. Ended up spend 30+ dollars just for water. Overall fun but they need to provide free water to drink.
First time there and it was Amazing. Took My 3 year old Granddaughter to see Disney on Ice and we had An Amazing Experience. The show was Wonderfully done and there was plenty if seating.
Great place for a concert, whether it's for one artist or several. Wide enough space for walking throughout the arena. Clean. Parking is clean and not hard on a car's tires or suspension. Unfortunately, there is little to no security to ensure any valuables left inside a car is safe. So better to put items that can't be taken into the arena, in the trunk. It's a little off the beaten path, not in the safest neighborhood, and a little hard to get out of once the event is over, but it's manageable. Having multiple vendor booths for a artists merchandise, is easy and does not overlap with attendees standing in concession lines. A plus! Concession only accepts credit cards, no cash. The arena, itself is great for concerts, even the seats on the sides have a good viewing of the stage, and sitting in these seats won't even cause neck problems. Security is pretty decent, nice, friendly. A few of the guards on the night I went, were a little rude, and invasive. Like they didn't know to keep their mouth shut or their voice down to a whisper, instead it was like they were at a boxing match cheering a boxer on, it was really disruptive. And the people who worked the Concession Stand, they were really nice, friendly, patient and helpful.
Great place to see a concert! Easy to get to from freeway, ample free parking within close walking distance, loved the numerous smaller concessions and restrooms with smaller quicker lines rather than waiting in loooong lines at larger venues that only have a few giant concession stands. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks & food!

The Bob Hope Theater is truly "One of the Greats". While you get the vintage feel for theater you also get a slight hunger to know the people who have graced this beautiful place. The parking is a block away, but there are wheelchair accessible spaces and so is the entrance to the theater as well are plenty placed for enough room for a wheelchair without the uncomfortable traffic of people smothering you to get in and out of their seats. However, getting to the seating area is not so wheelchair friendly. There are a couple of stairs to conquer but they are low and few. You would need a companion for this task. The sound and entire experience was a very fulfilling event. I will carry a very fond memory with me always. The Bob Hope Theater is impressive!
Gorgeous theater with 2 levels of seating, including an upstairs balcony area. The inside appears well maintained and the seating was mostly comfortable for the 2 hour venue. The sound system was good as well; no issues hearing the band. Parking in the nearby garage was only a few blocks, and $2 per hour. I would love to attend another show in the future.
We went for their Monthly Movie night. Such a great value and this historic building is the perfect setting for a nostalgic movie viewing.
RHPS was excellent and the theatre beautiful. Live action in front of film. Ticket even had a prop bag. I've seen this film many times but still learned many new participation lines that were a bit more spicy than the ones I did know. A q&a with Patricia Quinn before film started. I dressed as Magenta, my version, for the dinner party scene. My friend as Columbia.
Very well kept historic theater. Great air conditioning and it was clean. Good acoustics, very nice place for a musical menu. Parking was easy and we felt safe entering and leaving the event.
Drove down to see Rocky Horror at this uber cool theater with a great vibe. This makes me wish I was back in my concert promoter days, as this is a grand little hall and should be the site for amazing shows. FYI.. that's Patricia Quinn, the original Magenta!
The Bob Hope Theater is such a beautiful and historic place. The staff is friendly, the seats are comfortable, and the sound quality is great. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a show always a great experience!
I first saw a show in this theater in 1993 I believe and have been to 2 this year. It is a nostalgic theater. I think the seats are original including the red velvet upholstery. It is a small theater so it's intimate as they would say with good sound. I've only noticed street parking, which can get a little hectic, but after 6 it is free.

Great family park. Very clean and organized. Fair prices on all food. The Merch shop is well stocked. Employees are very friendly welcoming and helpful. They are pet friendly which is always a plus. We had a great time watching the Ports play. I definitely recommend visiting this place.
What are simply awesome location. A great ball field with parking right next door and a very friendly staff! I'm only visiting town for a couple of weeks, but this is a true gem for the Stockton area!
I saw a Stockton Port’s baseball game here, and my experience was great, with exceptions. The food there was low quality but some how good, which you won’t find in other places. As for the facilities, I have nothing bad to say about them. Of course there not super nice and luxurious or anything, but they were clean, simple, and seemingly maintained. The only thing that really ticked me off though is that the shop wasn’t open at all! I found that extremely surprising. All in all I think my experience here was good, but because of some exceptions, I can’t give it the full five.
We had a fantastic experience at the Magic Lantern Forest Festival! The vibrant lights and magical adventure created a memorable atmosphere. It's great to know that the kids enjoyed it, and kudos to the security team, especially Chris, for ensuring everyone's safety. The food was overpriced so be ready for that, but what event isn’t. Parking was very easy to find and to leave. A magical event indeed!
The stadium has great sight lines from every angle, making it easy to enjoy the action no matter where you sit. While many food vendors were closed, the park staff were very friendly and welcoming. The seats are a bit sunbleached and there’s noticeable wear and tear showing in parts of the stadium, but nothing that takes away from the experience. Perfect place to catch a chill game and enjoy some hometown baseball.
Great place to take in some minor league baseball. Park has easy parking and access to the park. Its fun for the kids and inbetween inning entertainment for selected guests to win prizes.. Saturday night offer fireworks after the game.
The ballpark was nice and the seats are all excellent with it being a smaller park. You're right there close up to enjoy the game. Parking 10 bucks so pretty reasonable but park smart as foul balls fly right over to them. Food is anywhere from 5 to 15 bucks if memory serves. Fireworks after the game were a nice touch as we lost and it soothed the disappointment haha
This a nice little ballpark to visit. They have very friendly staff and quite a few food choices. There are many themed nights and plenty of giveaways to add variety if you come often. The outfield has a couple of inflatables and grass areas to let the kids run around.

I love this school. The campus is so beautiful amid the city and the professors really care about your education.
The Stockton campus of UOP is a peaceful, tree-lined space that blends classic architecture with a strong academic atmosphere. Walking through the grounds feels like stepping into a small East Coast liberal arts college—Burns Tower and Morris Chapel are especially striking. The campus is well-maintained, and the student support services are responsive and helpful. It’s a great environment for focused study, with small class sizes and professors who genuinely care about student success. That said, Stockton itself can feel limited in terms of entertainment and safety, especially off-campus. Most students stick close to the university grounds or head out of town for weekend activities. Still, for those seeking a tight-knit academic community with strong programs in health sciences, music, and business, UOP delivers a solid undergraduate experience.
University of the Pacific is a beautiful campus with a strong sense of community. The professors are supportive and approachable which makes learning more engaging and personal. The smaller class sizes create an environment where you feel like your voice matters and you are not just a number. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved on campus through clubs and events which helps students feel connected. The campus itself is well maintained and has a historic charm that makes it stand out. Overall it is a great place to grow academically and personally.
Deeply Disappointing Experience with Admissions A Program That Talks About Values It Doesn’t Practice I applied to the University of the Pacific’s MSW program and was struck by the profound disconnect between the values the program claims to uphold and the way it actually treats applicants. Despite having strong recommendations, relevant experience, and a clear academic record, I encountered a process defined by bureaucratic opacity and inconsistent communication. When I attempted to clarify basic questions about my file including documentation that staff indicated would be placed in my record I was met with defensiveness, stonewalling, and vague assertions that my inquiries themselves were inappropriate. Escalating to leadership did not improve transparency. In fact, the further up the hierarchy I went, the more I encountered condescension masked as professionalism. The admissions process felt less like a fair evaluation and more like a gatekeeping exercise to test whether I would simply defer to inconsistent procedures without question. Ironically, this was exactly the sort of inequitable system the field of social work teaches practitioners to challenge. In the end, I was not offered admission. If you value clear communication, mutual respect, and a student-centered process, I encourage you to look elsewhere. There are many CSWE-accredited programs that take their stated mission seriously and treat prospective students with basic dignity.
Beautiful campus nestled among tree and lawns. During summer break they host many other events for athletes and for two weeks in late July hosts the Stockton Folk Dance Camp with attendees from all around the world.
Let’s cut through the fake shine: UC Davis students aren’t exceptional — they’re just exceptionally good at kissing ass. You look at their profiles and think, “Wow, straight A’s, research assistant, glowing rec letters?” Don’t be fooled. That’s not excellence — that’s performative obedience. At Davis, the name of the game isn’t originality, or grit, or depth. It’s conforming, playing safe, and saying whatever the professor wants to hear to protect a GPA. You want to know why so many Davis pre-meds and pre-dents flood the system with high GPAs but burn out in med school interviews or clinicals? Because they were trained to chase approval, not knowledge. They curate their résumés like Instagram feeds: hollow, polished, and deeply fragile. Now compare that to University of the Pacific. At Pacific, students don’t build profiles by groveling or gaming. They earn respect through rigor, relationships, and results. The programs are built to challenge you — not to inflate your ego with easy As for being a sycophant. Professors don’t hand out praise for parroting their opinions — they mentor, they push, they expect real thought and real action. And here’s the kicker: Pacific students show up in interviews ready to lead. UC Davis students? They show up polished but brittle, rehearsed to death, with no substance beyond the script. They’ve spent four years trying not to rock the boat — and it shows. Want proof? Look at outcomes: Pacific students dominate in dental, pharmacy, and health sciences admissions because their training is real. UC Davis sends waves of “high-GPA” applicants with paper-thin clinical exposure, generic rec letters, and no original voice. And admissions committees are catching on. The ones who see through the fluff know: a 3.9 from Davis doesn’t mean what it used to — especially when it comes from students who treat their college experience like a political campaign. So if you’re looking at both schools and think UC Davis is “more prestigious,” ask yourself: Do you want a reputation built on real preparation? Or a resume built on flattery and crowd-following? Pacific students grind. Davis students pose. And when it comes time to prove yourself — that difference explodes.
Came through on a college tour and I thought it was wonderful. It was a very beautiful campus. I have to say I was impressed by how clean, how modern the classrooms were, and the student center looked amazing.
Visiting for Homecoming/Family Weekend. Beautiful campus offers a large selection of majors & programs. The pride of Stockton.

I love how they have upgraded this space over the years. It's so charming and sweet to see the kids run around and explore the different attractions. The fire engine, police motorcycle, bus, and grocery store were among my children's favorite things. The membership is only $95 for a whole year for a family of 4, and $15 for an additional member. Worth it for homeschool families!!
I remember visiting this museum when I was in elementary. Now years later I brought my son to experience it and he had a great time. The Food 4 Less section was the main thing I remembered when I visited many years ago. We went early morning so there wasn’t a lot of people but I didn’t mind. I will say it was a little cold inside but besides that it was great to reminisce and see my son have a great time. Some of the displays did have buttons that didn’t work luckily a kid’s imagination works around that.
This was such an awesome place. Very reasonable entry fee. So much to do and so entertaining. My daughter had a blast and asked to come back again another time. They had a cute scavenger hunt with a prize at the end. Cute gift shop with super affordable items. Nice playground with a picnic area in the back. Highly recommend for kids 10 and below.
my grand children love it. they have fun with the food 4less shopping section, the ambulance, fire truck, and oh! i love the area where they allow kids to do arts and craft.
My grands had a wonderful time. Worth the 1 hour drive to visit. At first, it seemed like sensory overload. But after they took it all in, they were able to slow down and find the things that interested them. I recommend bringing a picnic lunch as it was difficult to get my grandkids to leave as there is so much to see, do and explore. We will definitely be back.
I went there today Saturday November 1st, 2025. With my son who is 8 with autism. He really loved it, He was so happy. He loved the area where the vehicles are and the eye thing and the small slide play structure. And he loved going to the food 4 less grocery area. He went there and he came back. He did look and was at the other things there but he was more interested and invested in those two areas only. We spent 3 hours. We are from Oakland,CA. I've never taken him to a museum before whatsoever and thats because I always had a difficult time with him, taking him out and taking places etc. That's all been tough. But things have been getting good as I be taking him more often and hes been doing good and I love that he listens to me. But he loved this place. I definitely recommend. And I love how there was not too many people or overcrowded because for my son I prefer it that way. But it was nice. I enjoyed my time there with my son. He was happy and he had fun and thats all that matters to me. Definitely recommend this place for the kids. Also the price is good. $10
We took our 2 yo and 12 yo and surprisingly the 12 yo loved it 😂 Such a great affordable, safe, educational and fun place for kids. Our son loved playing in all the vehicles and we were so sad we missed the souvenir shop. Would definitely recommend.
It's so fun to go to a museum with my grandchild and daughter. This one was really fascinating with all the great things a police car, a police motorcycle, a public bus cut in 1/3, an ambulance, a John Deere tractor, a Caterpillar tractor, a broadcasting studio, a kids size grocery store with check out, and beautiful science experiences that were Hands-On! It has something for all ages! I was very impressed with the volunteer staff there they were nice, helpful and assertive just enough. If you have a child that is sensitive to noise wait till the visiting class leaves. We will definitely come back again as their things for older children as well. In the back of the museum there is a gated area with picnic tables and it's very peaceful. Parking was easy and there was no line to get in.

This place is a hidden gem! Great place to watch some racing, grab a beverage, and a bite!
fun spot for racing, though it could definitely use some upgrades. Despite that, I've seen some really cool, action-packed races here, and the atmosphere is always exciting. It’s a great place for racing fans, but with a little attention to the venue, it could be even better!
The New Stockton 99 Speedway There needs to be better safety and security in the grandstands and parking lot tonight after the races I was trying to leave but a newer gmc 1500 pickup truck parked incorrectly blocking my car and many others in. When I asked the driver to move he came at me with a knife and told me he was going to make my fat ass bleed and backed me against my car lucky my door was open and I was able to get inside but he try to hold my door open I was able to get my car in gear and drive off nearly hit two cars. Because of the event I will no longer be going to a track I grew up at and have been going to for my whole life it’s no longer safe and honestly hasn’t been for awhile. He had the knife with him in the track and he had way too much to drink at the beer booth tonight. There need to be something done before someone get hurt or killed due to these people.
Finally went back there after over a decade for the Night of Champions. Got to see Mini Stocks, Mini Modifieds, Legends, and Pro Late Models. After all of it my Dad's old racing buddy Justin Philpot got the win. I can't wait to go back!
1st time here ..I had a blast...it was just practice and my home track is all american in Roseville...but I had fun laying so laps down in the new ride
It was really fun and today was my first day going and it was a blast
Very amazing car races. Saw a couple crashes which is cool seeing if the person Inside is okay.
I love the 99 Speedway. Come for the racing and stay for the crashes. :) Racing is never better than when you watch it in person. The sqeeling tires, the smell of race fuel in the air, the loud exhausts roaring by and shaking the stands, the competition for first place. All of this and it so close to home.

Besides the name the waterfront is still great though I remember Mayor Darrah and she damn well doesn't deseeve the waterfront to be named after her. That being said nice place to meet people and hang out with the family
It could be so much better if the police would stop the homeless tents and drugs being sold on the walk and finishing path. They have two seals that live in the water. Very fun to watch. The city needs to clean trash everyday
Quiet at night. No one here except for a couple or homeless and a guy fishing in the middle of the night.
Sadly, like most (public) places these days (Covid), wrought with homeless, and the garbage they (unfortunately) seem to bring, was everywhere. No sign of any kind of security patrol, police, or even cameras. Tents, cars, all the benches, everywhere I looked, people were sprawled out. Every garbage can I saw was overflowing, this the first day of Memorial Day weekend. No one was rude, or threatening, or even pan handling, that I observed. But why the city would fail to at least empty the cans along the prominade??! I felt very uncomfortable. Would not want to be here after dark!
Peaceful place to stop but was extremely busy yesterday with people fishing, jogging and food trucks
A nice promenade, clean and well-kept. Nice view of the marina.
Not like the good ole days a bit dirty
Nice place to walk and relax.

Took my boys to have some fun, and all the attractions kept them busy. Affordable day out of the house. From the entry fee, tickets for additional attractions, and food, my family of 4 spent under 80. We had a blast with the many great playgrounds designed with different themes.
Perfectly fun place to enjoy with your little ones! My 5yr old granddaughter had a ball. Although the train was not in operation, she loved the ferryboat, the merry go round and all of the other adventurous fun things available to enjoy. They do not encourage food brought from home, but there is a snackbar and plenty of park tables and benches spread thruout the park. Beautifully laid out and a must do visit for the kiddies. We will go back for sure.
My first time going to pixie woods and we love it, is pretty and nice for toddler.

If you have kids and live in the area do yourself a favor and buy the membership! It is such a steal and this place is truly a hidden gem! Our son loves coming here and playing on the dozens of playgrounds, and we can’t leave the park without riding the rides. The staff is always friendly, and the train conductor is so sweet! Watched her help some older people onto their seats and even let another group get a ride when they were closing up for the day. Especially great on hot days with their water park!!
Not worth it. It’s like a state park for which there is entry fee of $5.50 per person for everyone above 2 year. So for a family of 4 it will cost about $22. Then for “unlimited rides” it is 9.50 per person. When we went there (and I hear that’s how it is most of the time) only 2 rides were working which was the train ride and the carousel. So for a 4 member family, it cost me about $58. The cost of food is exhorbitant. For a small hot dog $5 and if you are paying by card a dollar extra. Really waste of money.
I hadn't been to Pixie Woods for years when I went yesterday with my sister and her 2 year old granddaughter. We all enjoyed it so much! Started with the train ride, merry-go-round then worked our way over to the water sprayers. The atmosphere was like Disneyland. It was a beautiful day!!!
This is a magical wonderland for small children. Low cost and lot's of imagination for them! Train's, boat rides, carousel, large water fountain for them to play in and much more! It was a lot of fun so much for us to do and does not get enough credit for a place for family's to spend a fun day with eachother. Even the employees were friendly!

Kind of hard to find a way to get in initially but once we get it (a little doorbell by the gate) The staff Diana is so cute and nice, passionately introducing all the interesting places around here. Lovely place with some pamphlets, stickers and calendars!
First off I love my home town born and raised. There are many good places and beautiful nature and food you just have ti know where to look. The stockton location for Stanislaus University campus has tons of nature. One of my favorite food places is CAPs pizza. Tia's Taco's is a phenomenal cartoring business. Captain Crab is the best for seafood boil. Stockton BJ's has excellent calamari. Oak Street market is the cleanest best WIC store. Masa sushi restaurant is family own very tasty food. Trail is my favorite coffee place. Nash & Tender has great chicken & Waffles. Nanna's has my favorite fish bowl drinks and seafood soup. Alot of people talk down abou6 Stockton but they either had a bad experience or read to much bad news. It's Yin & Yang. You can't have the good with out the bad. If your not looking for the bad you won't find it. There is tons if fun here. Tons of good. Tons of history in Stockton. The port of Stockton is a major import to the whole world. Let your imagination let you look for the good things in our town and I hope people have a wonderful experience.
Wow! I am a 5th generation Stocktonian yet the Stockton visitor center taught me things I never knew about our city. I visited with my niece from out of state and the staff was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the city's history. Thank you all so much!
This is a Stockton knowledge resource that most people have never heard of. They have all the information on Stockton, from upcoming events and activities to attend, to venues available for your events. I highly recommend you make a plan to stop by and visit them. Did you know there is a walking tour about the history of the different Stockton buildings (and it's free)?
Telltale check PI checks to address list of ones in lists forwarding
Everyone at Visit Stockton is always so great! Love all the events they put on for us!
Really friendly Stocktonians here 😋
Very warm and accommodating people out there.

It was incredibly calm and absolutely beautiful. There is a place inside where we felt quite calm and positive.
What an interesting place to visit. It was super quiet and tranquil on Sunday morning. It helped that I was the only person there! Many of the plaques by each statue are bleached by the sun, and they really just tell you who is the owner(donor?) of each. Google translate camera did a pretty good job of helping with translating the signs. There is parking inside the gate so you don't have to use the street.
Saw this spot as I was passing through town. Go through the open gate and drive around to the temple. Plenty of parking. Various large sculptures line the sidewalks throughout. So beautiful and colorful. I do wish I knew what was what and their meaning but I enjoyed walking through and seeing all of them.
Very small place with lots of Buddhist statues. They're all very pretty and kept up nice. Entry is free. It would have been a lot better if they had the placards in english also. So I could learn about each statue and their meaning. The ones that were fountains didn't have water. This is a self guided tour that takes 15-20 minutes. There were no staff when i was there. It was very empty with no other visitors. The place is located in the middle of a home area. The GPS is right. It does take you to the wrong entrance though, just follow the signs that lead you to the right one; it's very close from the other. There are public bathrooms. Also has a turtle pond.
Amazing!!very serene and peaceful. This temple has over 100 statues, in which some are incredibly large and in excellent condition with colors of gold, red, yellow, green, etc and with amazing intricate detailing. The statues tell part of Buddha's story, from his birth to his childhood, to his last day on earth.highly recommended.🙏
Very cool hidden gem. Like literally hidden in a neighborhood. We thought we were going the wrong way until we saw the stunning wall and gates. Lots of beautiful statues and the giant Buddha was really cool to see in-person. There’s a big parking lot, public bathroom, and of course the temple. We saw a monk and a cute cat followed us around. Maybe took a little over 20 minutes to walk around it all, but we stopped a lot to take pictures.
A cool place to wander about and see cool sculptures. It seemed like there wasn't much going on the particular day I went. No services were happening and most folks were staying out of the heat. I took a stroll ad took photos of the various sculptures. Spent maybe 20 minutes. A fun quick thing to do if visiting Stockton
Very beautiful and peaceful. I have lived on the east side of Stockton my entire life and I never noticed this place. It's such beautiful place to walk through. I plan to take my mother and father both who use mobility scooters back. I think they would really enjoy this. It is free to enter and park but please be kind and donate so they may keep this place going for years to come. ♥️

Amazing beer, amazing staff and amazing pizza!!! One of my new favorite spots.
Channel brewing is a warm inviting bar that while a bit small is actually cozy. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to. It has the usual decor is high top tables and kegs plus there are games to play and have a good time. The beers are easy drinking so sit back and enjoy.
Love having a craft brew spot right in downtown. The beers don't get super crazy and are all very drinkable. It seems like some places get caught up in making the hoppiest IPA or the sourerest sour or whatever; Channel Brew just wants to make good beer. And damn do the succeed. Smokey scotch ale) is my favorite. Recently tried Take This Tea and Shove It (barley wine made with black tea) and that was one hell of a sneaky drink. Smooth and almost 10% abv. Grab a flight and try a bunch though. They also got a new pizza chef a bit ago. Dude makes good stuff so give those a try too when the buzzed munchies hit. The Fuego challenege pizza is ridiculous btw, not for the feint of heart.
This is a neat brewery in an unexpected place. Passionate pizza (it's authenticly hot!) And solid ber choices.
This place is a must go to for beer enthusiasts and the staff is top notch. If you like pizza they have several different types on the menu to meet everyone's taste. The atmosphere is mellow and they even have board games you can play. Did I mention the beer was good.
Beer is excellent. Good range of type. Friendly staff.
Great place to grab a beer. They make most of their own beers, and they're all delicious. Also, try a pizza. It's very, very good.
Great beer great vibes! This is true. Always Live music or trivia or something going on. Nice beer brewed on premises. Games at the table. Lots of fun.

This amazing little fruit market had been a favorite since I was a kid. They have fresh baked goods, jams, seasonings, cured meats and much more! Best place for fresh focaccia bread!
This little place is such a great find, they have picnic tables to sit where you can enjoy in-house made sandwiches and their delicious quiche, they have ice creams and coffee to serve, They also have a produce shop that sells meat, fresh vegetables fruits and eggs and milk . Pleenty of parking and very friendly staff and people.
Love this spot! Great selection including some non typical choices of fresh produce. Also my taste buds were bathed and satisfied with a delicious, soda fountain style milkshake made with real ice cream and farm fresh local fruit providing the flavor. Not to be out done, the creamery / bakery boasts beautiful blue ribbon worthy, freshly baked pies! And the people working are so polite and engaging, as well as knowledgeable and personable. If you find yourself in their area it'll be worth the step.
The peaches are incredible. Nice selection of local produce, jams and hot sauces. The staff could not have been nicer. We ate at their shady picnic tables. This will be a regular stop.
Legendary find if you are new to the 209! They are one of the first places you may pass if your driving from Stockton and wow best produce you can find anywhere in the world. Over 75 years of history that will help you understand the 209 better.
We go to the Fruit Bowl when we visit my nephew in Lodi We live in Tuolumne County and I buy fruits and vegetables there but I always buy my 1/2 gallon of Bruno's vinegar there. I can pay less for that vinegar there then at Bruno's. The little restaurant there is a very good place to have a lunch. Worth the trip.
This fruit stand has the nicest cherries I've seen this year!!! I chose the Ruby cherries; they are dark red, large, and very sweet!!! I believe they grow them right there...
Wonderful market with local produce “ also a daily that serve food made in the site like pastry, delicious sandwiches, and ice cream 🙏

Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch! Great people and wonderful food!
This place is in desperate need of care. It's dirty, torn curtains, and the sound system could be improved. The venue could be amazing but if it doesn't get the repairs it needs, or even the TLC why would you pay top dollar to sit in a place that's dirty and smells? I was disappointed.
The Stockton Pride celebration was much better this year for being held inside the Civic - was windy & somewhat warm outside but inside was fantastic
2025 Gay Pride held at the civic auditorium. The venue was depressing. Torn curtains outdated interior and terrible restrooms. What's up Stockton city government!! Spend some money to refurbish this historic building.
I have been here several times for fights and various wrestling events. The staff is friendly and helpful. Security is great. I love to support local fighters and I have a great time.
Nice place no problem for parking. There's a space especially for disabled person.
Security was personable, atmosphere enthusiastic but the AC did not work and it was 115° outside. Not much better inside
11/16/2023: I attended the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame dinner with my hubby and his friend. It is always nice to attend a local event at this facility. There is tons of history in this place, and it evokes many special memories for me. The building does need some maintenance, but for the most part, it is a grand venue.

I love this place so peaceful the early morning walks are the best the see the 🌹 rose's in my personal opinion. The early morning dew is out & they are watering the rose's the smell of water, rose's, & early morning dew. The sun gently coming through the mesow and the squirrels bouncing around. So peaceful ❤️
Beautiful park with fountains and all sorts of wildlife
Birthday week going strong! This place was spacious and quaint, I brought mom here to continue her birthday because she had always said that roses remind her of her mother. Free entry and if your lucky you might just see Truddy T. Urtles and her cousin Ruddy T. Urtles. Along with poser G. Eese and the his family! Great place to have a quiet picnic with loved ones.
Amazing beautiful rose garden!
Today my youngest daughter took me to a beautiful rose garden for my birthday week celebration. I love roses, not only for their beauty and scent, but more importantly because they remind me, make me feel closer to mom who has passed on. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her. But today...she felt close by. The "sunburst and planet" planting was an inspired idea. The breeze wafting about us, three fountains and bridge...idealic. I felt great peace, how apropos while in a Peace Garden.
Very nice park in Stockton..much like an old military base..lots of well groomed plants and flowers
April is probably the best time to visit this beautiful rose garden.
I had heard about the World Peace Garden, but I had never been there before. I decided one day to stop at the garden and check it out. The roses are beautiful. They are very tall, which was surprising to me, but very healthy. The roses were abundant. I decided to take my mother by the garden after my 1st experience. She has always worked in her garden, and was equally impressed by the garden. I've worked with roses for many years and am curious as to who maintains the garden. Perhaps some day I may volunteer. I'll continue to encourage people to enjoy & appreciate the rose garden.

What a wonderful staffing! Thanks for helping me out got the job done a very clean .
The worst experience I have ever had in my life, the receptionists are always rude in person or on the phone, 3 months ago I hurt my knee and I am still waiting for my results, on the day of the appointment they changed me to a call, and it says no I have nothing, my knee is injured, it was swollen 3 months ago and it says I have nothing. I don't think this place is qualified. I had already heard bad experiences about this place but I never thought the same thing would happen to me.
Terrible attention, I waited 1:40 minutes to be treated and to last 10 minutes in the consultation I didn’t let myself say everything the doctor felt because he was late and had another patient
Very helpful for my clients and it's a great spot to relax right next to the park. Friendly staff and very helpful.
Awesome place..friendly staff.. This place helped me when I lost my insurance
They have a local community health center which helps with medical issues. Very friendly staff.
A beautiful community center for my community. I did contact them to help them with community activity. No contact yet though.
They provide a lot of great programs and care about the youth in the community.
