This ♿ accessible library 📚 features two ramps at the entrance, an elevator 🛗, restrooms 🚹🚺 in the lobby, water fountains, several drop-off containers around the complex, and multiple reading and resting areas ✅. I've found their service to be friendly every time I've visited (you can rent books online on their website and pick them up at the library if you wish). There are two floors with multiple areas for children, teens, and adults. Their services include renting books, CDs, DVDs/Blu-rays, vinyl discs, and video games. There are computers 💻 with educational games for children, laptop/Chromebook rentals, weekly activities for children and teens, book and audiovisual sales, and sometimes they give away books in a section set up at the library entrance. It's undoubtedly one of the best libraries I've visited. Their parking lot 🅿️ is free on Saturdays and Sundays. During week days the charge is $75 cents/hour, however, since it is located in the downtown there are multiple public parking spots around. Recommended ✅ #Accessibility #publiclibrary #AccessibilityForAll #inclusion
This could easily be 5 stars if they offered free parking. I get that this is a tourist area but to not even offer free parking during the off season? It seemed like they didn’t even offer free parking for residents. I paid a little over $2 for 3 hours (the most amount of time you are allowed to stay in the parking garage). This can easily be a deterrent for those struggling with unemployment (who are also the ones who often rely on library resources when searching for a job). Someone please let me know if I’m wrong and there actually is free parking anywhere nearby. Parking aside, this library is very large and impressive. I didn’t explore the entire library, as I was just looking for a place to get some work done on my laptop, but from what I saw there were MANY different resources available. They offer a sensory room, laptop rentals, phone charging stations, computers, and much much more. This library is 2 stores and there is a glass elevator available. It seems like the library hosts events frequently based on their bulletin boards and the event I heard taking place on the first floor. That being said, the library is not completely silent…though I think there are more quiet spaces that I just missed when I first came in. I will definitely be visiting this library again if I am in the area and looking for a place to work.
So impressed with this library and their preschool age programs!! Miss Nicole is absolutely incredible. She keeps everyone engaged, teaches them so much, and is great at seeing when the kids need a break to shake their wiggles out. :)
We love Sparks’s Lab! From my teen down to my toddler, there’s something for everyone. From robots and toys to crafting and art projects, it’s always a challenge to get my kids to leave.😅 And the staff is FANTASTIC!!! So friendly and patient, always going out of their way to give the kids an awesome time! Thank you so much!!!
Toms River Library is a an amazing repository of knowledge. What makes it special is the people there... Across the board, I have found the people there to be extraordinarily helpful, patient and kind. Having said that don't take advantage of them... Be also yourself, helpful in returning materials borrowed, be kind in thanking them, be helpful when you can. Libraries are an amazing resource, enjoy and respect them. Libraries are awesome. Toms River Library shines above and beyond. Free parking on Saturday, an incredible sensory lab, the most helpful people. 🤗
I can see that the library deleted recent negative reviews and keeps their positive reviews from years ago. The current staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. All the other branches have wonderful staff and a positive atmosphere. This branch has zero patience for others and a very depressing, dismal attitude overall. The employees talk openly and negatively about their jobs, pay, coworkers and their visitors. I would never suggest anyone visit nor work here. If I could give zero stars I would; Run to a different branch.
Very nice library, aside from the homeless situation. It is no longer a clean and safe environment for me. Many of the chairs and furniture have odors, from the people that live out of the library, who have poor hygiene. Additionaly, often there are people speaking or even yelling erratically, sometimes even about drugs. I see progress being made, like the police officer at the library, but this is unacceptable. I unfortunately no longer visit this branch anymore. What a shame, because it is truly a beautiful library.
I have never had a problem getting anything I wanted to read. It’s quiet and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly

Great place, fun close up little fish and reptiles for kids in their environmental center. Nice walking trail over wooden bridge. Playground is nice.
This was my second time here and I’ll be back if I’m in the neighborhood at the right time, with or without my kids. The first time I enjoyed the walk without my children. The second time I brought my kids and they enjoyed it. They especially enjoyed the nature center with educational activities and displays to keep them engaged. It’s picturesque and a nice stop off for any photographer. I photographed a blue heron hunting fish around frozen streams.
Lovely park, very clean, dog friendly, nice wide trail which is well maintained. Easy walk to the water with tons of wildlife. Blue herons, egrets, chipmunks, plus an obviously haunted tree and mushrooms as big as a dinner plate. 😁
I can't believe this place is only an hour away from me, and I've never been here before. A beautiful trail, family-friendly, and great for a walk with dogs.
Hard to believe you are in Toms River. Great combination of hiking trails, water views and environmental exploration. Trails could be marked a little better so pay attention when you are hiking.
Cattus Island County Park is a beautiful waterfront park, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature. The trails are spacious, well-maintained, and surrounded by forests, marshes, and serene water views. Along the way, you can spot birds, crabs, and a variety of native plants — a great spot for hiking and photography lovers alike. The atmosphere is peaceful, with shaded areas, wooden boardwalks, and scenic overlooks that invite you to slow down and take in the beauty around you. There’s also a nature center where visitors can learn more about the local wildlife and ecosystem. A wonderful place to visit with family, friends, or just to enjoy some quiet time outdoors.
We took a ride there this fall and really enjoyed a very easy walk out to the end of the peninsula. Wide hard packed access road and then several off shoot loop paths that are more rustic. We only did the orange trail at end to see the Barneget Bay side. Nice that it is all free and well maintained.
This park has lots of trails, playground, picnic area and a nature center. It’s easily accessible with a stroller. We love the nature center where they have different shows like scales and tales. They also have a butterfly garden outside of the nature center. It’s a great place to come and observe osprey nests. Well maintained and lots of fun for kids, families, hiking and biking.

First time here. Small but spotless museum with a ton of information ... and bugs! Loved it, especially all of the spiders, including the live presentation. Very informative and well done.
Kids love this place. Attractions for a half day visit. They have very nice staff & well arranged sections with kids activities to engage them. They also have every hour animal demo sessions where kids have a chance to touch them. They do conduct birthday parties & have a gift shop.
This place is amazing!! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Its great for kids and adults who are curious about insects. I just wish that they had weekend hours during the summer. We'll definitely come back.
We’re just had my sons 7th birthday party here and it was better than I could’ve expected. The owner and staff were wonderful from booking the event, to set up, to keeping the kids and parents engaged. Ruby was excellent with the kids and gave a comprehensive tour. She may be young, but she was a pro beyond her years. Noah was excellent at assisting with setup and keeping the kids occupied while we were waiting for food to arrive. Overall, I would definitely recommend!
Loved this place! Certainly a unique, fun little museum. My partner and I walked in only moments before a touch exhibit started, which I was not even aware of was a thing and I'm glad we went! The staff was terrific, knowledgeable, casual yet professional. There's quite a bunch to look at, but the museum is a bit small. Worth the price and I'm sure children would love it! Great place to stop if you're nearby. I would certainly stop by again.
My bug-enthusiast kid loved this museum! Between the great live show and the fantastic interpretive exhibits, this is a great time!
We liked this place a lot! Very informative and a lot of fun. We had 4 children under 4 with us and it worked out better than we thought it would. Took us about 90 minutes to walk through and watch the show.
Super awesome place to check out! Definitely worth the price to see so many different bugs. They have tanks of live bugs as well, including at least 20 tarantulas! A nice guide gives a 15 minute presentation about a few live bugs that you can touch and learn about. Great for kids to ask questions. Amazing taxidermy collection. Everyone is nice and laid back. Gift shop is a bit pricey, but they have some unique taxidermy butterfly art for sale.

We went to Robert J. Norvins Planetarium last night for the first time and are so happy that we did! The facility is very nice, and the staff was great. The show was about the Aurora and we all loved it. They even gave a little sneak peak into their latest Laser show for Taylor Swift. What a fun time. We'll certainly go back again!
Had my son’s birthday party here and it was amazing! Tom was so helpful, and everything turned out great. I was a little worried my son would be too young for the movie since he was only turning 2 but he was so into it and was so excited throughout the whole thing. The party room gave us plenty of space for our family/friends to eat, have cake, and for gifts. Would definitely recommend booking a party here!
We visited for a Harry Potter star show and the kids loved it. It was very well put together: - games before the show were interesting - served butter beer - decorations were great Would highly recommend
What a wonderful experience and a hidden gem at the Jersey shore! My family and I had blast at the laser show and cannot wait to go back! Thank you to the staff for an entertaining evening!

Had my daughter’s bday party here and WOW, such an amazing day! Tom specifically, is wonderful and was quick to respond to my emails + answered every time I called with any questions (love when I can talk to a human during posted hours and don’t have to leave a voicemail). We saw a “reef” movie and some Taylor swift laser songs which were perfect for my group of 5 year old girls. I loved how personable Tom was during the show and appreciate that there are options for toddlers! I’m so glad I chose this space for the party. We’ll absolutely be back soon to see another show!
This was my first time here and it was such a nice visit! My kids loved the show and the laser song at the end was so cool! The seats are super comfortable and the gift shop is perfect for a little trinket. We will definitely be back!
We came for a show for my son who has autism. We weren't sure how he would do, but the show and staff were so great. He had an amazing time, and it was really special! The show was great and the laser song performance after was awesome! Highly recommend

This is truly a gem in ocean county. They have some of the most meticulously breed amazing beer that I've had ever, anywhere. And I had beer all over the world. You're allowed to bring your own food, and beer prices are very reasonable, so the visit here is not going to break the bank. Plenty of roomy, people are friendly, mostly a local vibe. Plenty of parking plenty of space, and amazing selection of beers. One beer I had was unbelievably delicious. It almost made me cry… tears were welling up a little bit but I didn't want to cry in front of my new friends 😉
Real nice atmosphere, beers are very different but really good
Small tap room that has a cool older city bar vibe. Can be crowded at times. There is an outdoor area between buildings that does have music. Food trucks at times. I like the vibe of TRB and the fact that there is normally not many children here. Many times I find the tap list a little limited for me since they seem to gravitate towards styles I prefer less, but this is solely personal. It’s in an industrial park and parking is good since the places around it normally are closed later on. They do have music bingo nights etc and NJ Devils tie ins.
Good time was had by all. Music and beer were excellent. Nick our tour guide was very informative about how their beer is made.
Very cool brewery in a great location near the shore. Ample indoor and outdoor seating, and a very relaxed atmosphere. The barkeeps were incredibly pleasant ladies who were well informed about the beers and very chatty which is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the Forbidden Fruit and Hibernian Dry Irish Stout and I rated them 4/5 on Untappd. The guys I was there with said the IPAs were really good too. Well worth a few hours to enjoy some good beers and a great small business.
I recently had the pleasure of stopping by here to see Heidi Erin perform and the place was amazing! I highly recommend it and they have an awesome selection of drinks that everyone will find unique and interesting!
September 2022 edit: thank you for making my last day of the swimming season so special. Hope my friend liked it too because I left him a can on his stoop. I always wanted a friend who would spoil me with delicious things, but don’t wait around for others to be kind—treat others the way you would want to be treated! So I go around giving gifts because this is how I feel purpose and love. I’m so glad Liquid Thought has returned! I usually grab and go, but one day maybe I’ll stay for the outdoor courtyard. When the beach is so close, I’m usually pulled in that direction. I loved meeting the brewer, Bob, one wintry day!
Greetings from Bermuda 🇧🇲...we had an awesome time...Jack and JJ (the Irish Rottweiler) were amazing hosts...we will definitely be back!

I always take my kids here. To play and run. There's tables with seats if you just want to watch them while they play and has lots of shades for those sunny days. And it's always clean. Perfect for picnic if you ever want to have a family reunion with kids. But letting everyone know that this place is almost always packed. Either from school kids events or just a lot of families with their kids. But there's always parking able. Bathrooms sometimes are open sometimes they are closed but there is always one portable potty wheelchair assessable big enough to have some else to help if help is needed of course. Always clean too. But I always bring one extra toilet paper and alcohol to clean sits when my kids use it or I use it. Trust me this Park is always packed lots of people and kids but it's beautiful playground. Recommended.
Our Travel Campers loved this playground. Plenty of shade available under pavilion and lots of fun engaging apparatus offered. The large rock formation had caution tape around it , with no obvious on going repairs happening, not sure why it was taped off.
Super cute park with lots to do for my toddler and a specific area for her to play that was toddler friendly & safe. The older play area is definitely not safe without strict super vision for the littles so I walked around the structure with her which was fine, just my advice to not let your littles up there unattended. But sadly, the park was infested with wasps so we had to leave early.
It was a bit busy but in no way did I feel this was over crowded or a problem. Plenty of seating, lots of interesting things for my son to do. I do recommend for younger toddlers to have a patent with them if they go to the older kid oriented side. There is a boulder they can climb up that, without supervision, could be dangerous. Beyond that, my son had an amazing time and experience there for the first time
This park is awesome to bring the children it's very adult friendly as well there's a skate park slide swings they even have a mister on hot days it's amazing lots of room to run around and play huge Open Fields very safe and ample parking I recommend you bring your family here it's just an amazing Park and it's been redone but it's better than ever come and enjoy this awesome place it's a great park for the family
The old castle park from YEARS ago was much better, but the newer equipment is very nice too! It is a cute park to bring my kid!
What a sweet little park, with something for everyone. Lots of parking and sizes of playground equipment! It’s not dog friendly on the playground but it says you can bring a Leashed dog on the field.
Awesome skatepark. Other riders were very courteous to my 9 year old daughter that is learning.

A great experience! Jeff our guide was outstanding! He took time and accommodated us even though we hadn't booked a tour. So interesting and gave an great perspective on the past. This was a perfect museum experience! Look at the "Last Supper" fireplace metal piece...Michael Angelo or Leonardo DaVinci?
I came here for research on a project and the amount of information available is outstanding! I learned a lot from coming here and plan on returning for personal teaching. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, even if they aren't the expert they will try to help you and usually direct you to one of them who are an expert. They have numerous contacts if you need interviews. I actually plan on volunteering here this summer!
Very insightful on the history of Toms River. It was free to walk thru, however, they did have a "tip" jar that you could leave a little tip for the workers.
Very well done. Friendly atmosphere. Nice people. Educational. Will come again.
Been there many times and have introduced the experience to others. A lovely, historical, old Victorian home and garden, run by a friendly staff. This site also affords research opportunities.
Excellent! Great programs. Very educational. Excellent resource. A local treasure. Must see for south Jersey residents or ex Patriots.
Informative n well presented. Setting was inviting n comfortable. Would like to see more on the counties Revolutionary times.

I've traipsed through malls across this great nation, but this one? A sparkling gem! Its well-maintained halls glow with the inner beauty of classic Americana, harkening back to a bygone era when malls were sanctuaries for weary souls to rest their achy tootsies. Spotlessly clean, with nary a crook to pester patrons, this place is a delight. Bravo, mall mavens—America salutes you!
Superficial Ocean County Mall survives amid a pleasant area of the County's busy municipalities with some one hundred stores in forty-eight years. However, the number of Malls in America will continue to decline due to the changing financial nature of retail and the consumer.
Hello Regional Manager, I want to let you know that I had a very bad experience at your Auntie Anne’s store in Ocean County Mall. I witnessed one employee inappropriately placing old pretzel stickers into the butter box to make the pretzels look new. When I ordered a pretzel, they tried to give me a very old pretzel covered with new butter to make it appear fresh. Customers should not go to that store! This is sick management, and employees are covering up old pretzels. I want you to refund me $17, and I also want a $100 gift card. If you refuse, I will report this to the mall administration and the State Department of Food Safety. Sincerely, Nicola Artese
Went here a few days ago and they have a wonderful variety of stores and booths/kiosks to shop at so you’re able to find any and everything that you may need or want. The downside is that there is not much of a food court and the mail is not your average sized mall either, it’s kind of like an indoor strip mall. Other than that I’d definitely go back again.
The only negative is that PacSun was closed and it was not stated online. It's a nice Mall especially for down the shore since I'm the off-season it is very slow. I actually don't know how the store is keep open in a mall down here.
Wow, this mall is great! So clean, nice stores, easy parking. Friendly employees, lots of stores, which were bright and full of merchandise. Definitely will be back.
Very sad envirnment. Years ago this was a great place to shop. Now its pathetic. Not many good stores left. Alot of vacant stores. And barely any foot traffic
Was present for a veterans award ceremony and it was wonderful! Kudos 👏 to Ocean County Mall for allowing it to be held there during the day and for treating the veterans and their family members SO gracious!!! It really show how Ocean county stands out above the rest for their veterans. Super big "Thank You!" to all staff at the Starbucks in the mall for giving put free coffee to everyone and to the amazing lady at Cinnabon who was super amazing and having an extra awesome day just as much as we were!!! Hun, you are amaing!!!! ❤️

We love it here and so does our dog Rocky! He always has a blast running around and seeing his friends. It’s safe, the dogs are well behaved and there’s a water bowl fountain and toys for him to use. The community is great too and we love meeting the other dog owners! Great place for you and your pup.
It’s a nice park, but the dog Park has a completely overgrown fence so in the small dog area, your dog can run in there and they would be hard to find. I didn’t trust letting my dog off the leash here with no visible fence on one side. The dog bags aren’t filled up either. Disappointing.
This is a great park. Came here with the family and had grand time. Not a lot of people at all and enough to do here for a while
Great medium sized park for smaller children! Best for dogs is the extended dog park that is half into the woods so lots of space to play and meet new dog friends! There a ball field, tennis and basketball court too well kept.
Great dog park. The rest of the park looked well kept as well.
Love how they re-did the park with the new dog park and fixing the entire park when they made it a new area for the kids & teens to go to hang out and have fun with their friends, family and doggies🐕 🐶!!!! Love it there and love it here in Silverton!!

A great park to take the kids to. I would say the park is appropriate for kids 3-10. Soccer field s are available on the weekdays and there is a decent skate park on site.
Nicely paved path. So nice it is very natural, trees and grasses etc.
Great facilities for softball, plenty of parking. Restrooms need repair and cleaning.
This is a usually quiet place where you can relax and paint something you pick. There's a nice variety of pieces at different prices. The prices are high however, behind the scenes there's a lot going on so I understand why it's pricey. They have a wonderful patient staff that is very helpful when new colors are needed, they even write down what number color you have to avoid confusion. Last, my experience here has always been pleasant other then it being very hot!!
Great for Kid's and Grandkids 😄
The grounds are very nice. Grounds crew needs to weight down the grates when they are doing the infields-dust storms not needed. And shut back gates after infield is done, players should not have to do it. Ensure toilet paper in all restrooms

The Black Box Theater is simply amazing. It sits 75 people and is up close and personal. Great performances every time.
My daughter had her vocational school graduation here. Plenty of parking The gym we were in for the graduation was nice. Thank you for hosting the event
It’s a nice little theater. Not too big not too small. We had front row seats so we were very happy. We enjoy seeing shows at the Grunin center.
My wife and friends had the privilege to listen to a tribute band called " The Breakers" a fantastic Tom Petty tribute. The theatre was clean and plenty of leg room. Not a bad seat in the house. The staff were excellent. Highly recommend anyone to visit the theatre. Great job. Thank you. Mark and Kathy
Will definitely be back!

First time ever being in a mosque was ln eid and Mashallah the mosque was great and I met so many friends. Inshallah i will be back. But I have a question is the mosque open every day and until what time because I wanna start coming back
The reason for 1 star because one of the Excutive members rushed us out of the musalah, on top of that he was keep playing youtube shorts that had music in them. No wonder why muslims are in dire state. الله يعيننا
Assalamo Alycom, i am studying in Georgian Court University. I need housing. I am from Bangladesh. could you guide me.
Very nice and clean masjid. I got confused by trying to enter through the front door but the door to prayer is in the back. This masjid seems to be open almost all the time which is great.
I am so happy because i found this Masjid when i need to pray when i went to the jersey shore. Very Nice, Clean and Beautiful Masjid Mashaallah.
Assalam Alaikum Everyone I want to inform respectfully that I want Imam to make an announcement regarding parents coming for prayers with children should be allowed and and not sarcastically commented and made to feel embarrassed. Everyone has equal rights to offer prayers in masjid, it should not be the case that people criticizing single parents on bringing their kids for prayers so that they learn our Islamic culture. There are few people who are understanding enough to understand the parent's situation. While there are some intolerable ones who just don't want the kids to be accompanied with parents. I want to ask everyone do I don't have a right to do my ibadat in masjid if I have a 4 yr old kid coming to masjid with me ? I think people should be a little considerate while commenting on others. Islam is a beautiful religion full of love and has no space for hate. I experienced embarrassment for bringing my kid for Jumah prayer today 3/8/2024. Let's pray and let others pray in peace and stop bothering others.

My friend and I really enjoyed this place. Sad to see it leave soon. After a few moments we received help on how to bet by a very friendly "cashier"? Once we knew how to bet and where to watch the horses we had a blast. The food was good. Drinks were cold. I'll definitely be back before it goes!
This place is fun fun. You can come in here and talk to a group of people.. or you can just find that guy who's having fun. Couple dollars would take you a long way. So far all of this staff have been very helpful. The bartender is quite chipper and cheerful. They usually are there..
Excellent off track betting place...clean and well furnished with circular bar plenty of sitting with large screen tvs thoughout. Above average snack bar.
We loveeee Favorites, it's a great mellow atmosphere, all the employees are very helpful!!! 🏇🏇🏇🏇. The bar and bartender also great! 🍺🥂🍷🍹. I also want to mention how very, very clean Favorite's in Toms River New Jersey is ......V.I.P. for me 😃 so big shout out to all our friends at Favorite's in Toms River👍
Alot if fun at night but I heard it closing so that's a bummer
This location is very close to an over 55 community so during the day it's mostly older men it's quiet. There is a bar. They serve snack type foods..lots of machines and a few tellers. If you're looking for a night life kind of place...this is not it. But if you want a nice clean place to wager in peace this is a good choice.
05/11/24 went to internet to check closing time said midnight.rushed to get there in time to wager on a late race and get a program for next day. Got there at 10:40. Manager named Frank would not sell me a program without exact change(I had a 20 for a $ 12 program.) . Could not wager as he already sent the teller home .got change from a nice man cleaning up, but this manager did not offer to take my wager in spite of the fact that closing time was 1.5 hours away. Apathy is so sad.
Here is an otherwise pleasant retirement community of Holiday City, where the progression of years plays out in many ways. Yes, life is about choices, including the desperate waste of time and money at an off-track betting hall in a time where human consciousness is critical for our survival. Rather, we observe the evidence of loneliness, compulsion, and reckless indifference. A parking lot littered with trash, cigarettes, and signs of disparate addiction is offensive to those with self-respect and hopeful aspirations.
