This is a great shopping center with a nice mix of dining options and high-end shops. Being an open-air mall makes it especially enjoyable to explore on a pleasant spring day. They also have plenty of EV chargers, and most were available, which was convenient. I originally came for the Container Store but ended up having a great time walking around. I grabbed a quick meal at Chipotle, though there were several other spots I’d love to try next time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Used to be a great, safe place. The last few visits I have made (alone, with my 6 month old in her carriage) have been awful. Both times I have encountered individuals clearly on drugs yelling outside of businesses and parking lots. Once, I even called security to notify them and they said they must’ve missed him. No longer feels like a safe place to walk alone with my daughter which is unfortunate since it is accessible, local, and enjoyable in the nice weather. We will be making less trips to garden city (at least alone) until there is something serious done about the security and drug use.
A bit too upscale for me… but a great place to excercise and walk around on a nice day… be careful of dogs and people who are not aware of picking up after their dogs… new-port creamery is too good…
Best mall around and it's not even close. Sad to see Newport Creamery go, but that's business I suppose... We'll support them wherever they go. Hopefully the new space is filled with several small/local businesses. Love the family events they put together. Great place.
Great Spot with a little bit of everything! You can get a coffee and walk around. We didn’t need anything when we arrived and left with a ton of stuff we had been meaning to get! There is a ton of parking but at certain times, you’ll still be fighting for a parking space. When we left around 6 or 7pm, we had people waiting by our car when we backed out for our spot. Best to take the bus in during super busy times which arrives right at the plaza. Just wish they had smaller spaces with a few more local businesses like they used to before Covid.
I ordered the Rigatoni A La Vodka to go. I requested extra sauce and they totally delivered. I hate dry pasta so getting the extra sauce in the pasta is a must have for me. It was delicious! Whenever I’ve gone to this restaurant, the staff are always very pleasant and kind
It s very insane mall. It s very long mall ever I had. Outside is open wide and seems have enough park. We are very enjoying! Warning!!! -many stores are very expensive! -not recommended during winter season or chill season. Bc it s outdoor. -staffs some are very friendly. -stoll for 2-3hour -not recommend for senior citizens if case they have a wheelchair.
I will never shop in this plaza due to the fact they have thrown out multiple businesses including Newport Creamery who was a tenant for 60 years. The greed demonstrated by this company should not be overlooked by us. Rhode Islanders. There are plenty of other places to shop.

I love this library! As does my son. We have been regulars the last 4 years. I try to bring him each weekend to choose a few books for the week. The children’s section is huge with a wide variety to choose from. There are educational toys and games you can check out. They do kindly ask that the children do not open them inside of the library. The bins that these items are located in even specify these instructions. (I saw a negative review regarding the librarian confronting this issue?) I absolutely adore all of the staff. They are warm, friendly, and always so helpful. Any time I have questions they’re eager to help me. I’ve always felt comfortable here. I’m constantly placing books on hold, so I could be a pest. But instead I feel more like a friend. Love you guys! Thanks for being a positive pillar in our community.
It's quite but I'm pretty sure a lot of sx stuff going on I've been harassed by the staff there telling me people are saying I'm looking weird then they made me sit in the front of the library if I wanted to stay. I also walked to the back one day and a guy fixing his pants and two girls with spandex were back there with him scrambling to their chair. I think I am being harassed because I pointed this stuff out to staff and they did nothing I also have video of me sitting on the toilet and a guy looking over and under the stall I was in. I reported it and they did nothing but told the people I reported them and they confronted me. Bad place for children
We've been spending a lot of time in the children's room. It's a great library! Cool in the summer, plenty to browse, lots to keep the kids entertained and thinking
The people behind the desk just sit there and let people have full blown conversations on the phone . Not one person said anything to this woman . They could clearly hear her . Most of them won't give eye contact. So that may be why ? Who knows ! Least favorite library.
Amazing selection of books with friendly staff
They have lots of free resources and can help with almost anything. They also have an amazing selection of books
This is my library since I was young even tho I lived in Providence lol
As I visited the Cranston Public Library I must say that it was such a wonderful and peaceful experience. From the moment I entered the library, to the very moment I left I felt very welcomed from the entire staff, especially the security guard who welcomes each and every individual as they step foot into and out of the building. Right around last week, I visited the Cranston Public Library for the first time to print out a couple of things. As I entered the building I was encountered by a wonderful security officer who took the time to assist and guide me towards the department I was looking for. Not only was she very kind, but she also wore protective gear that allowed me and probably many visitors to feel safe during these unprecedented times. Using the protective gear (masks, and also face shield) not only protects herself as an employee of the library, but it also protects all individuals coming in and out of the building as well. On my way out of the library, I asked her for her name and she mentioned her name was Tahomi. Due to this experience, I definitely plan on returning and would recommend this library to any individual.

We had a wonderful time here. My husband is a distant relative of the 2 Governor Spragues. The video presentation was nice. The tea with baked goods was delicious. The tour of the mansion and the carriage house was very informative and entertaining.
My twin sister and I visited Sprague Mansion on July 31st 2021 in honor of our Father which would have been his 100th birthday we are Sprague descendants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit Mary and Greg took so much pride and love in their job and were very knowledgeable and helpful we were truly blessed in meeting them and would love to go back again and share with more of our descendants. Carolyn Sprague Samples and Marilyn Sprague Nelson.
Beautiful old home. Tours are available.
My husband and I had our wedding reception here 24 years ago. We were married 3 days before Christmas so this beautiful home was decorated for the holidays. Beautiful setting and Mabel Kelly, the curator, couldn't have been nicer. Event was held on December 22, 1996.
It will take you back to an easier time. Right across the street is the Cranston print works. All textiles in one location. As you cross the street, look down to the right. You will go back in time. All the mill workers were housed there. When you see the ones with 2 doors those were the workers houses. The single door ones were for the supervisors. The mansion is all in time of the era. Trust me, its an experience you will remember. Oh by the way, the kids love the mansion!! And the needle crafts are insane!!! I hope you love it all. Please share your experience with family and friends. Tell others.
What a great treasure Cranston's Sprague Mansion is... all Cranston residents should visit at least once. It played such an important role in Rhode Island's history.
Went for a fundraiser. Friendly staff. Did not know about it until today. They also give tours of this historic site. I'm planning to go back for the tour. Beautiful woodwork, fancy flare. Lots of parking.
Step back in time in this 18th Century museum, perfectly furnished in period antiques. Call for tour appointment and hear about Rhode Island's industrial revolution and the Sprague family dynasty.

I’ve only heard nice things about this library. Was visiting the cheese shop across the street and figured I’d stop by. It’s gorgeous outside but is currently not open to the public this season due to repairs with the heat. But they have the best adorable little bike rack thing. 5 stars for cute and useful themed bike rack
Wow what a place….. This public building is an attest to its great society in which it services, I highly recommend this building as a free alternative as a time well spent family outing. While maintaining its status as a natural quiet and safe space it offers a number of over looked amenities in which all can benefit. From ample parking to easy access with an elevator, getting in there is no issue at all. For those hot humid summer days this building offers air conditioning and a bubbler (water fountain) with bottle fill station that can even accommodate a one gallon water jug. Seating is plentiful, and power outlets are everywhere and easily accessible, You can even rent one of the many rooms for a hour or more and have a meeting with your friends. Come here all who wish to cool off get comfortable an pick out a good book, movie, video game, or serf the web. Don’t finish the book, take it home with you, it’s a library after all. Bus 1 and bus 4 go right by this historic jem. Its such a wonderful establishment, one could almost see wanting to live right outside. Everything is so clean, from restrooms to hallways. But remember to be kind, do not abuse the free use of electricity to charge your phone or fountain to fill your water bottles, ha, save some for the next person, right.
Love this library!! I have been going here since I was 7yrs old, and now I take my granddaughter.
Nice Library but the lighting is terrible. It needs to be upgraded. It seems dark in there.
Staff is not only disruptive but also discriminatory. My girlfriend and I were walked in on IN THE BATHROOM and questioned with giving no red flags. When discussing the discrepancy, we were simply told that there were other locations available. How sad that this is a public place and supposed to be a safe place for not only kids but everyone and I can’t even simply use the bathroom. Staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. Don’t come here.
Wonderful memories and just the most fantastic classic architecture and feel. Wonderful people working there. I went here as a child, as a teenager, and even though I’ve moved several times since then it keeps me coming back. All libraries are important; William Hall is special.
I love this community library! The staff here is always helpful and they have a wonderful children’s collection. Thanks to the staff and librarians who have worked hard to make this a treasure in Cranston!
Sweet quiet old place with efficient, no nonsense staff. Perfect space for me to tuck away in a comfy chair to write. A wee bit drafty in winter so add a layer!

My daughter loves going to this branch. There’s a play kitchen, stuffed animals, and lots of puzzles to play with. Of course, lots of good book options that are easy to find. Staff is so nice!
A good little library. It's easy to find since it's right on a main road. It has plenty of parking behind the building and there is a bike rack too.
Its a nice library! Not a ton of books, but there's a large variety for all ages and interests!
Plenty of parking & a nice shady picnic area.
It's ok. Changed a lot through out the years. Like W.Warwick or Hope better.
Convenient , not too busy, very helpful staff

Nice. Respectfully laid out between Traditional burials, Cremations, Baby Land, variety of Mosoleums, Expansion land. Responsive, friendly and informative business office. Ask before getting upset.
I went to my parent’s grave in July 2024. I couldn’t find it! Everything was overgrown and because I live out of state I come only once a year. I had to get my bearings and count my steps to where I thought it would be. I got down on my hands and knees and scratched the weeds and dirt to finally reveal their stone. Besides the fact that it was disgraceful, it made me cry. I am so upset of the lack of respect for the loved ones who are buried there. Susan Lacombe
Horrible! The grass is mess ...vases on the stones are broken and on the ground AND there is a van of homeless ppl that live in there ....the van is always parked alone where the pond is ! These ppl that work for this cemetery should b ashamed of themselves!
I get so upset every time we go. I see a field of stones that have been overtaken with weeds and grass. Anyone who has a flat stone at grass level will eventually be ERASED FROM EXISTENCE. Every time we go, we dig our stone out from the weeds and try to do others around us. Unfortunately we can't do them all. We shouldn't have to. Doesn't perpetual care mean MAINTENANCE of our loved ones? There are SO MANY spots where you know there SHOULD be a stone, but all there is is weeds/grass. Unacceptable. We sent a letter to the Bishop last year about the poor care and it did nothing. We got a letter back basically saying that they are aware it's a problem, but it's hard to keep up with it. Glad I won't be buried here!
Kinda sad that I’ve have gone to that cemetery several times to look for my grandmothers grave however looking at every grave I did not find looking through the entire section it says she is and the lot is confusing because you don’t know what lot is which kinda wish they could figure a way out to improve
This cemetery should be ashamed of the lack of care of the grounds. Dandelions & weeds covering most flat gravestones. Terrible way to honor the vets & all those buried there. And this site won’t even let me upload the photos to prove my point
Cemetery is full of dandelion seedheads. The place looks like a lint trap on a dryer. Disrespectful and disgraceful to those interred there and their families. Is it too much to ask that the Diocese of Providence invest in some weed control? It’s not like the Catholic Church has to pay taxes.
Cemetery is gorgeous. My Mother is buried here thousands of miles away from our home. Never being there for her in life, my family was very cruel to do this knowing I was the closest person to her. Whats even worse, I paid for the gravesite (tricked into buying 5 plots instead of the one via 2 family members) and for some reason i have no say over the graves as they were put in my older brother's name. Not sure how this happened but staff does their best to accommodate my requests when I fly out. I hate the financial burdens endured annually to travel here. However, there is a strange serenity within these grounds. A stunning resting place if you are so obliged

This is a very "welcoming" library to visit, the staff are as friendly as can be as well as very helpful if you need assistance with anything there. People who visit are friendly as well always making your visit quite a good experience. They've computers to use as well as a charger port for various types of phones & chargers if needed. So many books to choose from, they also have many audio books as well. A very clean place as well. 🤗
Go in at least twice a month and everyone there is so very pleasant and helpful!
Very nice and helpful staff.
Small library, but there are things for some people to do, and there is a nice little children's area. Librarians are very nice. Attractive neighborhood.

I was asked to see Lyle Lovett. I attended the concert and was impressed with the staff at Park Theatre. They’re friendly and efficient. Also, if you carry a purse, you’ll walk straight through if you leave your purse at home; as they will search it. They have police and fire personnel on the lobby on standby for safety. The actual stage and seating is good as well. I visited their website and purchased tickets for a future event this year. Website was easy to navigate. This was a well maintained theatre I would recommend seeing an artist there or performance.
The theater is still under renovation. The owner is showing such great enthusiasm and passion in renovating not only the theater but creating a restaurant on the second floor balcony called the Rolfe along the Park Place Cafe next door and a Comedy venue. This whole facility is alive and kicking like it's never done before. We enjoyed our Saturday afternoon at the Park Cafe with so many choices for Desserts, Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches, Coffee, Teas etc. There's even mentioned they have Open Mic. I would suggest checking the website for all up to date menus and events! What a great asset to the community!
Great place to see a show We saw Sara Evans amazing
This was a great small venue theatre.,we saw Lyle Lovett and his 5 piece acoustic band. It didn't appear to be a bad seat in the place and certainly our mid- balcony seat was no exception. The view was awesome and the show was as well. Parking was an easy walk away. Definitely a place to return when the right show comes along.
A fabulous venue for a concert, courteous, clean, easy to get to great free parking
Thank you Park and Sarah! Went there for tickets 3/28/25 (old-school style!), to find a closed box office. I got "lucky" and a delightful employee let me talk my way in to then score/buy great seats for a coveted show (Graham Nash). Sarah went out of her way to open a closed system Only took 8 minutes start to finish, also certainly an easy "sorry, you'll have to come back yatta" answer. Point is, if Sarah is any indication of employee dedication and "making it happen", The Historic Park is doing things right (my quite humble story!). (PS: please do not go there during off hours looking for seat deals!) Also, been there for shows, and one hella place for live music (and probably other live stuff), fantastic sight lines and acoustics :)
Clean, no bad seats, good drinks, great band lineups.
Great acoustics here. Enjoyed the concert by The Breakers very much. Will definitely return for future performances!

The experience of the place was great! The owner and the staff were very professional and hospitable. We felt like part of family! And the drinks and food (from Screaming Univorn) were fantastic! The atmosphere of the place were very nice. Thank You for having us!
Great local brewery\pub with outdoor bench seating. Good vibes.
Hosted our son’s wedding weekend welcome reception here—couldn’t have been happier!!! Morgan and Max were very flexible and helped us create an exceptional event. The beverages were outstanding—huge Upper Echelon IPA fans, wine selections were great as well as the non alcoholic offerings. The Screaming Unicorn’s creative and diverse food menu was phenomenal. Ray and Stephanie were the best! My foodie family was delighted as were the guests. We will be back whenever we return to Providence! Highly recommend.
The Buttonwood Brewery had polite staff that also provided recommendations on activities happening for the weekend. My friends and I brought Uno and played while at the picnic table. UNO KING 💪🏾👑🍻
The beer selection was great. But the food??? Unbelievable!!! My husband and I have never had a better sandwich!! Seriously… this was something else. The food is beyond delicious! We will be back and recommend this to everyone. You will not be disappointed.
A must do in Providence. Beyond great beer is a perfectly chill atmosphere and welcoming spirit to invite the introvert or extrovert in all of us. The food available can satisfy any soul in need of a quick bite or a substantial meal.
Buttonwoods Brewery was exactly the atmosphere I was hoping it would be for a day of relaxation, good beer and doing some work on my laptop in a relaxing casual vibes atmosphere. My GPS originally took me past the front of the building and I had to turn around and just assume the entrance was located on the backside of my building, which it was. The brewery is in an old mill, the floorboards creaked (which I love) in this industrial setting. Eclectic seating and squishy sofas in large space that didn’t feel cramped. The Peanut Butter Stout and Sour were really delicious! I enjoyed how they offer 6oz pours. I enjoyed this place so much I came back twice two weekends in a row. Parking was plentiful in the back. Staff was friendly.
Hosted a work event - staff was amazing, drink options for everyone. Food from screaming unicorn was catered - affordable and delicious. This is an awesome place for a party or just to visit. 11/10.

Wonderful venue for theater and film, pretty much anything that concerns the arts. Very well managed and run by friendly professional staff.
This is a great little community theatre experience. We came from NYC to a film festival and it was just great. Adorable little black box space with graduated seating. They have a little cafe that wasn't open which was a bummer. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Great experience overall.
Artist Exchange is fun! Lots of cool classes and summer camps and one act plays . Etc!😀
Fantastic food and fantastic service!
