Nice park with lots of walking paths and swings to sit as well as picnic tables. This is right on the waterfront, beautiful scenery.
I was in Esky on a beautiful day, looking for a nice walk. I found it here. There is a long, paved stretch for walking. Leashed animals allowed. Bicycles allowed, though I'm not sure how much of the path they can access. It's a beautiful walk along the shore of Little Bay, past the marina, and SandyPoint Lighthouse. There were still many ice shanties in the bay.
Great waterfront park and marina. Lots to do and see. Swimming, walking, biking, frisbee golf, huge playground, picnic area and pavilion with grills. Close to downtown and great views from everywhere in the park. Great park to spend a day. Ty 👍✌️
Nice little park area. Found unique rocks and left them out for the next person to find. Nice bench swing to relax and simply enjoy the tranquil view.
Beautiful space for all to enjoy the day!
Spent here for our youngest birthday. Loved it!!
Great park! I enjoyed the beach all the way to the back of the park
What a lovely little park for a picnic or a walk! Many of the trees have signs telling you what they are, the path is easy going and clear, and there's plenty of parking and lakeside views.

Great small scale museum that is included with admission to the lighthouse nearby. The staff were polite, and they had a small gift shop for magnets, shirts, etc.
We really enjoyed the museums and lighthouse. The lighthouse had a couple floors with exhibits to look at before you went up the stairs to the top of the lighthouse. There is a small door you have to go through to get out on the ledge but the view was amazing! The museum in the historical society building was larger than I expected and had great displays full of history and information. Definitely stop by and check them both out!
They were not open yet at the museum we were too early. Looks like it is only open 1-4. Cannot go in lighthouse :/ we went down past the wastewater plant all the way to the end and spent a while....beautiful almost 360 views of water and BEAUTIFUL American glass adorn the nautical light posts:)
Nice museum that is included with the lighthouse. Self-guided tour with a lot of local history
Love the museum and the lighthouse. A great and varied selection of memorabilia and we spent more time than we thought we would in such a tiny museum. Really enjoyed it and hope to come back someday.
Great historical site. Get to take a tour of the area events over the years inside. Very informative and interesting how it was back in the day. Recommend stopping if you’re in the area. Sits in Ludington Park. Great view from the top overlooking Little Bay de Noc.
It is a small museum, but great to get insights into the history of this place. I didn't realize how important this little port town was in the past. I could easily spend 2h in both lighthouse and the museum (ticket valid for both). However, I think they can improve a bit on the description of the various rooms and exhibits
What a wonderful little Museum. Lots of stuff that you don't find in other musiams. I was pleasantly surprised. Admission is 5 for family. The lighthouse is very interesting as well. Parking is no problem.

Should you find yourself & your spouse enjoying an adventure that takes you through Escanaba, carve out enough time to take in this gem… a calm relaxing environment that somehow magically make you feel like you belong. Regardless of how good the products are, you’re going to wish you could bottle up the essence of this winery.
They have a good selection of wines. We stopped in after walking the marina and historic downtown areas and sat in the outdoor seating. It was piano. Ight so we were able to hear the piano and singing. The service was great. This is a good stop for those who enjoy wine.
Great atmosphere the staff is friendly. The wine was good. We just happened to show up when they had live music. It was great the staff told us all about the local artist and history of the piano.
We went as a family while on vacation from Chicago and had a great time. The atmosphere is so inviting, the wine is amazing, the selection is wonderful and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will be back.
I had the luck of being in Escanaba the night that there was live piano at Leigh's wine bar. The atmosphere was lovely. The wine was equally as lovely... I opted for a tasting and really enjoyed the different wines selected with the help of the very friendly staff. I didn't get the charcuterie but it looked fantastic!
Great place. Fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. Great wine selection. Thanks for the great time.
$6 wine flights got us in the door and the hospitality will bring us back. Fairly extensive list of wines. Definitely a must stop if your drifting through Escanaba!
This place was amazing! The wine was delicious and the people were very informative and great to talk with. We will be coming back!!

We found this campground at the last minute for our road trip vacation and were able to book a site very easily. When we got here later in the evening we found that our site was a decent size. We got our tent up and started to unload for the night, we found that a train goes through every few hours! For some it’s an annoyance but for us it was a nice part of the ambiance. When we woke up the next morning we found that this place was pretty great, our campsite was very close to the bathroom so we took our shower. The bathrooms are in better shape than some hotels! Best water pressure I’ve ever felt at a campsite and free with your site!! Checkout is at noon so have your things ready to move if you’re not an early bird! Anyway the site and the amenities were amazing. If you want to do laundry washers are $2 and dryers are $2.5. There are dog friendly so we were able to bring our dog. The place is very clean and peaceful. Only noise we experienced was the road traffic and the train. We enjoyed the experience so much we extended our stay for a while other night. We will certainly be back for future trips!
The campground hosts are awesome. Was not a fan in the location of our site. I'll choose better if it's next time. The downsize was the dogs running freely, inforce the lease rules, couldn't let our puppy outside the whole time, but a quick potty walk at our site.
Rented a cabin while I attend Midwest Truck Driving School in Escanaba. Real close to the school. Beautiful cabin with electricity. Nice friendly campground hosts. So far I love it here. I have no complaints. Nice hot showers in the shower room with good water pressure. Washer and Dryer for $4.50 a load (bring your own quarters). Outhouse by my cabin. The river is right by the cabin. The cabin is beautiful and the property it's on is beautiful. Good size campground. I haven't hit the disc golf course up yet but I will be while I'm here. Overall 10/10 experience. Cabins are priced well also. There is a bunk bed in the bedroom with twin mattresses. A full size bed also in the bedroom and a futon also in the living area of the cabin. There is a picnic table inside and one outside by the fire pit and also a recliner. Very nice set up! Also a loft to store things if needed in the cabin. 4 windows for good air circulation. I love this place! I would definitely recommend it!
We stayed here in early August 2024 from a Saturday to Tuesday. The sites were large and fit our tents and gazebo. The ground was nice with short grass, and trees to give us shade. The bathroom/shower house was clean and really nice. The guys played Disc Golf on the course one morning and enjoyed that. It was close to places we wanted to visit. It was pretty quiet, and neighbors were pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!
Great facilities, clean bath house, spacious sites and alot of industrial/highway noise. I would overnight again but not an extended stay.
Very nice campground with nice bathrooms and showers. I did call and spoke with someone that was very helpful although unnecessary. I made reservations online and check in was all completed online so I had no reason to stop in at the office. Camping spaces are generous in size. Lots of trees for shade although I did put up my ez-up anyway just to cover the spaces that I needed additional shade. Located just outside of town, so walmart and other stores are located close by. I will definitely be back next year. I did camp with my 2 dogs which were not a problem.
Very nice park! We chose a site that was BIG and next to the camp host, Mike, who was great. Arrived on Thursday just before Labor Day weekend. First night was very quiet. Next day it filled up A LOT, which we knew would happen. But we still enjoyed our time. Lots to see and do nearby. Lighthouses, lakes, and plenty of shopping nearby, such as a Walmart and Meijer. The train that goes through area was not too bad for us as we use a noise machine while sleeping, just to keep that in mind. Our site had a lot of dirt and loose roots, but we dealt. Mist other sites looked to be pretty flat and grassy. Everyone pretty much settled down for the night by 11:00-11:30 and the music stopped, THANKFULLY😉 All in all a nice place to stay😊
Made plans to visit this park months ago. 4 days before our trip my wife hurt her back so bad she could not walk, let alone ride in a vehicle for 6hours to go camping. Called to see about changing the reservation since we were not in the window for cancelation anymore and was told they had to check with management and they would call me back. Over 24hrs passed and no call so once again I call and no answer so I left a message for a call back and they canceled the reservation with out talking to me. When I called they just said nothing they could do and offered no help at all. Customer service was horrible.

Such an asset to artists and the community! Beautiful gallery with select pieces for purchase. Gift shop with original art of all sizes, types, and budgets. So many classes from ceramics, bleach painting, sip and paint, plus foods and more. Classes for all ages and styles. Super friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend!
I love The Bonifas! I've volunteered a few times, and the volunteer opportunities are many and diverse. There's something for everyone. I helped out at their Night of Magic and Wizardry, and it was such a cool event for the community. It's a beautiful facility, and I can't wait to spend more time there.
Great place to check out and very comfy seating. Even had a chance to meet with the new Executive Director who’s doing a fantastic job. Overall it’s a must see location!
Recently saw a performance by Players de Noc and loved it!! I'm excited about Players' upcoming 2024-25 season!
Little art venue with rotating exhibits. Attached to lovely old theater with dedicated volunteers.
It's was a good experience, they put on a great show. ( Alice and Wonderland)
There are programs with a fee, but touring the gallery is free. Staff is so welcoming, the exhibits are beautiful. There is a full schedule of programs and classes with something for everyone; veterans attend for free.
A great theatre. I am stoked to be able to take to the stage once again. Some of the finest youth theater you will find. And I don't mean children's theater ... the youth actors at Players de Noc at The Bonifas are perform at such an amazing level they'll astound you.

What a beautiful park right on the shore! I was there to support the Michigan-Wisconsin Open Tennis Tournament on those beautiful tennus courts, but there was also Art in The Park and concerts. 1st weekend in August in Escanaba is the place to be!
What a great park to visit. Has great views of the bay and the harbor. Beaches are fantastic with a mile of shoreline. Nice and sandy and the water is always looking great. Fishing here is good as well. Fishing right from shore. Marina is nice. Seems to be busy and it’s a “safe harbor”. Great place to just get a bit and park along the water and enjoy. I will definitely be back next time I’m through there again it’s just a very nice park. Ty ✌️
Beautiful park and beach. Safe, clean, and plenty of parking.
Cool walkable park with a sand beach on one side and marina on other.
I like walking around enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the beach. DOes need a little updating and cleanup of areas. MAybe better landscaping as well. The views are incredible and a must to see at sunrise and even sunset.
Nice little pathway for a quick walk or bike ride. It has many types of trees/foliage that are labeled with wooden signage, and ends on a small roundabout with a gorgeous view of the bay. Arguably the best view in all of Escanaba. The only drawbacks are that it can be a bit buggy, and there’s no lighting.
Loved it. Beautiful. I wish I could being the park to my hometown.
It needs more restrooms or outhouses. Lots of people walk there and I'm sure they would be appreciated . Otherwise it's a beautiful park, a real gem for Escanaba!

This is a beautiful and well priced gallery! The staff were kind, and the art was creative. Lots of cat featured items!! 😻
My first time checking out this gallery and it is amazing! SO many talented artists in our area. The gallery ranges from paintings and photos to pottery to wooden items, sewn items, clothing, and jewelry! Mary was so welcoming and friendly. I will be checking this place out again for when I need to acquire some artwork and gifts!
Wonderful little art gallery featuring local artists! The variety, quality of work and prices are great. Perfect place to find a unique gift or something special for yourself!
Lots of great art work & variety to choose from, such as fiber arts, stained & fused glass, wood items, paintings, photos, jewelry, hats, scarves, mittens, quilts, etc.
If you have not stopped in at this place you need to. There's a lot of places that you can buy cute junk... but this place has one of a kind works of art from local talent. Very cool.
Great gallery with lots of different artists' work. We bought several pieces. The artist working was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Will stop again when in the area.
Great selection of local artwork!
Delightful! A charming shop filled with wonderful, creative items. If only my pocketbook was bottomless! I'm looking forward to visiting again.

We just did my daughter's birthday party here and it was great! Both the adults and the kids had a blast! Reasonably priced to reserve for a 2 hour party and the guy working was on top of everything! He did great in the controlled chaos and had a smile on his face the entire day. Absolutely would recommend.
Stayed at Terrace Bay for anniversary/last trip before school with the kids. Looked for something to do, didn't really know what to expect..... expect to have fun! Adults too! The artwork on the walls and throughout the glow in the dark course is worth seeing alone! Amazing!!! This place should become a Michigan franchise! Will definitely drive the 4 hours to get here, just for this next year! Exceptional staff! Todd was great, helped out when our claw skills were lacking, allowed us to purchase a few items from the machine, and delivered them with the food. My 8 year old said, "You saved the day, and this place and you are awesome!" Kids speak the raw truth! Make sure to check this place out! Props to the creative mind/minds that created this one of a kind place!!!
Todd & Micheal were very friendly and welcoming. The mini golf was beyond fantastic!! The art was wonderful! If I lived in the area I would be here often. We had so much fun!!
Awesome indoor put put. Fun and hard holes. Keep on the look out for the small camel, great side quest.
Awesome place! We stop for neon mini golfing. Looks like they designed the course so it's changeable which is amazing as that means it won't always be the same layout forever. There was also arcade games and bean bag toss, along with food options
Husband and I had some plans this weekend that got rained out so we decided to hit up UPutt. Super fun alternative and we had a blast playing against eachother. Suitable for larger groups or parties or smaller groups too. Very cool Glow-in-the-Dark course with 14 holes, easy to see and navigate - will totally come back because I need to beat my husband. They also have an arcade, food, and cornhole in the back!
Very nice blacklight mini golf course. Arcade games, tables and so much fun to have. Great place for the entire family to play, bond and make memories.
Black light neon mini golf area is highly stimulating. Not a large arcade, there are some nice modern machines.

The parking was generous and inside was very well heated for the Skate show we attended #DanceParty 😀 they have an animal shelter donation box which I thought was really wonderful. I will be back there to donate at some point if thier doors are open and the box is accessible . Had a wonderful time watching my friend skate and made some sweet memories. The vendors were all super helpful and friendly, I hope I can go back there soon !
Love it here!!! My girls have a blast everytime!! The staff is super friendly as well!!
Ice skate rentals hockey shop and drinks
Well maintained facilities, pleasant people to interact with and a whole lot of fun for the family.
I had not been here in about 20 years. Took our 4 year old to open skate and he loved it. Very friendly people working and helping out there!
This place was aweful, I wore my skating unifor and was told to change into full clothing or leave because it was indecent because not all of my skin was covered. I was also told to leave because I was using my headphones to skate to. They say it is free skate which is false as they make you leave the rink to play games
Kids love it there, learning to ice skate. Plus it's good to get them off electronics and actually socialize with others personally.
Very clean and well kept ice arena. Helpful staff and affordable ice time. We will be coming back!

Support your local library! The Live on the Lawn concert series was awesome!!❤️ Thank you Friends of the Library. Also, the Story Walk in the Garden is a great addition!
Interesting and informative historical pictures, photos and maps on the walls. Good selection of books for all ages: children, young adult, large print, biographies, fiction and non-fiction. Beautiful view of the harbor. Special treat: a quiet reading room.
A nice place and had a private room available for a video appt. Very helpful staff.
We were visiting Escanaba and went to the library to cool off and play in the kids area. There wasn't a lot for very young children, a few puzzles and toys, but there was a large assortment of books for young readers and a sailboat they could sit in while they read! How fun.
Delightfully knowledgeable and clear staff, the multimedia rooms are great, their collaboration with tax specialists during peak season to empower young people... is utterly commendable - And who can forget Children's story hour, or the rewards for summer reading? (Personally, I know I still have beanie babies attained in my youth through voracious reading in unexpected places...) Th exterior landscaping is charming and a delightful venue for local music... this is a facility that we can celebrate as a community, do not even get me started on the sainthood that is the incomparable Children's Section specialist, Ms. Fitante! I still go to the library for focused use of technology and am ever grateful for the opportunity to print, if ever in a pinch. Check us out, eh?!?
Huge selection of books and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Love it here! I take my step kids every Friday they come back to us. This library has an awesome children's section.
I love this library! For a small town library, they have a great selection of all types of books. I love bringing my daughter to peruse the very big children’s area! Staff is always helpful and kind.
The staff is always helpful and friendly. Jane gave me a lot of good ideas about making our Planet Walk more user friendly! Thanks..
