We stopped over on our long drive home. Easy to get into with an RV with decent sized spots. Walked by the pool and it looked nice, didn’t swim but lots of people were enjoying the pool. Nice off leash dog area. Great staff in the office. It was a quick stop but would stay here again. Saw a few cute cats running around.
Rented a cabin.cabin was clean.bathrooms clean.cabins and bathroom nicely decorated and kept up. Stayed 5 nights ,good location close to stores and good location to explore the area and Sequoia national Park in Kings canyon.Staff was friendly.would highly recommend. I will be back. With my family. Also I think it's worth mentioning the hey also have sicks to wash dishes and free coffee in the morning for guest Thank you.
The location isn’t particularly scenic, but it’s conveniently close to downtown and Sequoia National Park. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant. Bathrooms are outdated but kept clean. One of the highlights is the spacious and well-maintained dog park—perfect if you're traveling with pets. The campground is quiet and feels safe, which is a big plus. However, be aware that there’s limited shade at most sites, so it can get quite sunny and hot during the day.
Me and my 3 cavalier Spaniels enjoyed our stay. Very dog friendly. We had a 2 room cabin no bathroom in our cabin but so easy to visit with my dogs a 2 minutes walk was fine.
We had a great stay here. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were kept clean, and our kids really enjoyed themselves. The staff was just incredible. Every interaction they were really kind, and helpful to any questions we had. Would definitely come back!
Visited this KOA campground Labor Day weekend. It is a small campground, spacious spots, mature trees and nice quiet location in Visalia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Swapping out a damaged picnic table for a nicer one and giving us a late check out time for a small additional fee. The pool was big even though we didn’t use it. The bathrooms and shower areas were a little out dated but clean and functional. I recommend this KOA campground if you are in Visalia or visiting Sequoia National Park.
We recently stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia KOA RV Park as our home base for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The campground itself was clean and offered convenient amenities, including reliable access to shopping like Costco and other larger city comforts. Visalia is a pleasant town, small enough to explore in a day but big enough to have everything we needed. That said, there are a few things worth noting. The park is located in a heavily farmed area of the valley, which made it quite dusty during our stay. Water pressure was generally fine, but inconsistent at times. On our last morning, our hot water heater didn’t receive enough pressure to ignite, which delayed our showers. One of our main considerations when booking was proximity to the national parks, but we learned that the drive actually takes about an hour or more to reach either Sequoia or Kings Canyon. While this KOA worked well for city access, those planning multiple trips into the parks may want to explore options a bit closer to the entrances. All in all, a decent stay with the convenience of urban access, but next time we may consider something a little closer to the wilderness.
The tent sites are right along the road where people speed! It is entirely too loud at night! I felt like I was homeless and sleeping on the sidewalk. The shower house did not have any running water. The pipe at the camp site was turned off. The women's restroom looks like poor gas station restroom, not KOA standard. The entire campground smelled like a dirty muddy duck pond. Definitely would not camp here again.

An absolute magical experience. It you want to save your steps and looking for the easiest way to hike here, take the shuttle towards the accessible parking lot and just walk up <2 minute to this epic tree and several others including the longer trails towards congress trail and others.
Gorgeous place to adventure by yourself or with your favorite people. The path is somewhat steep for some people and can be strenuous during the hike back up to the parking lot. You get the chance to see some of the largest and oldest trees in the entire world, and at 275ft tall, the General Sherman tree is astounding to stand by in person. Really crazy and unbelievable! Highly recommended, and my only regret is I don't have more time to adventure and hike through Sequoia!
Finally got a chance to make it here! It’s breathtaking and very peaceful. The short paved trail leading to the tree is well-maintained, with plenty of scenic views of other giant sequoias along the way. There are informative signs and museum in the park that share the history and science behind these incredible trees, which makes the walk even more meaningful. It can get crowded during peak hours, may need to wait in line for the photos of the General Sherman Tree, but everyone seems to share a quiet sense of awe when standing before this living giant. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or first-time visitor, this is a must-see landmark and one of the most unforgettable sights in California.
The drive there is not to be taken lightly! It’s a windy steep drive and I was going 30mph at most, since the turns are so steep. The walk to the Sherman tree is about 15 minutes downhill and a bit longer uphill, the air is thin up there so don’t be surprised if you run out of breath, it’s a steep climb. The tree in itself is HUGE. The biggest one I’d ever seen (it is indeed the biggest by volume). The pictures look great and the nature is stunning, beautiful views of the other big trees too. I recommend going, worth the drive.
It’s a must watch when visiting Sequoia National Park. From the parking there is a trail of around a mile to reach the tree. It was bit crowded. People were taking turns to click pictures with the tree. But the overall experience was amazing. There are a lot of other trees also nearby which are very large and while coming back, if you feel the trail is too much, there are buses that take you back to the parking lot which can save your time.
Plenty of parking but it does get crowded, even on a Saturday morning in early fall. We managed to find a spot, but it wasn’t as easy as at other areas. Lots of visitors, so I recommend coming first thing in the morning and then enjoying less crowded trails afterward.
Totally worth the long, rainy drive. When the massive sequoia suddenly appeared through the mist, it felt magical. The rain made the whole forest look mysterious, and these thousand-year-old giants really feel like they could tell stories.
Seeing the Sequoia trees was so cool. They park is really welllaid out with tons of information available. I really enjoyed the learning spots and the rangers knowledge. There is something for everyone at this treasure of a park.

Was my first time going here it was awesome an so much fun, Loved seeing Vanessa Ray and Meghan Patrick she was awesome amazing artist an performer
I have been here many times to watch the Sequia Symphony, COS Symphonic Band, and the Sequoia Youth Symphony. In addition, I have had the privilege of performing here once and will again this evening. It's a wonderful auditorium! An iconic piece of Visalia's history.
This is a great older venue. I was seated in section B and had a great view. Checked out the balcony, and the sound was incredible from there. Parking along the street is plentiful both in front and behind the venue. Ladies do need to have a clear bag, no purses allowed.
The venue has been upgraded and looks beautiful. I remember as a kid going there to watch movies. This time it was for a music concert. My only complaint would be that the A/C seemed to be having a hard time keeping up. Even the artist complained multiple times that it was really hot in there.
From the moment you step inside, you're captivated by the stunning architecture and beautifully preserved details that speak to its rich history. The ambiance is truly unique, making any event, whether it's a concert, a classic film, a comedy show, or a live performance, feel incredibly special. The acoustics are fantastic, and the seating is comfortable, ensuring a great view from almost anywhere
Rocky Horror 50th anniversary show was fabulous. Staff is attentive and extremely courteous. Very welcoming atmosphere! We'll be back soon.
Leonid & Friends, Russian Chicago cover band put on a fabulous 3hr show! They were raring to go and a lot of fun! The theatre was the perfect venue for them. It was big enough to seat the large and enthusiastic crowd but small enough to give a quaint warm welcome. It really is a beautiful theatre and the staff and security were professional and kind. Can’t wait for Leonid and his friends to treat us to another visit at the Visalia Fox Theatre!
I love this little old theatre! I have seen a couple of comedy shows here a play and modt recently the Grease movie night. This place always has a good show no matter what type it is. It's great to have a place like this in our town! I look forward to seeing many more shows here, you should check it out too.

We always have such a great time here at the Rawhide stadium!
Honestly the minor league games, especially from my vantage point where I was seated, was so much more engaging then to pony up for the major league ones. You can literally see all the action before your eyes without so much as turning your head. My seat in the second row (row F) of section 209 (so second level, nearer the visitor dugout) had one of the best full views of the stadium. The 100 level sections are said to have a little less legroom, and I'm more than happy with being higher up. For this game in the regular season, only $14 for the seat ($2 online fee) was amazing. Plus apparently they have discounted tickets for less if you look around for their special days. I will say the fly-balls going straight up over you is a bit unnerving, but they're easier to spot after the sun goes down. Call it an occupational hazard for viewing the game. In all, this is the way to enjoy good baseball.
Pasture seating is a great place to bring well behaved dogs!
Nice park, really no shade. Hall of fame room needs a new layout. Only way to see the game from in there is by the window. Should consider making the window seats low and all high tables behind, so everyone can try and enjoy the game. When they show the game on the tvs inside it's like 5mins behind the live game. Also the restrooms in the hall of fame room needs a good cleaning, it smells everytime we've gone to the park. And chips for nachos always seem stale. Overall it's a nice park to visit.
Was there for the D3 Valley Championship game. Definitely a thrill for our team to play in such a park. We won. Go Vikings.
Went for a home game. The speakers didn't work so we couldn't hear anything the announcer said. I waited almost an hour for 2 very overpriced meals watching the kitchen staff move with zero sense of urgency, and then the order was wrong. An official ballpark advertisement playing on repeat on the outfield screen had a non-existent date on it. We ended up leaving early. Oh yeah and last time we went, we waited over half an hour in a very short line for a literal snow cone. I know they're extremely difficult to make but it still seemed a little excessive. Literally everything has been a horrible experience.
I believe it's the smallest professional professional ball park in the country. Clean but the food is over priced. It's a single A park with slightly under MLB prices. Don't expect anything big. It's bigger than a high school baseball stadium but small than other single A parks. If you want the atmosphere of local baseball it's great but if you want the feel of a major park go see the Grizzlies up in Fresno. Used to be home to the Visalia Oaks but now is home to the Visalia Rawhide. Be sure to check the weather before heading to a game because it can be hot. However they do an area called the cold zone, which requires tickets, and has misters. They don't advertise it at some of the concessions but they do have $1 water. Which for the price is a better deal than their $3 bottle water. Also they do have group and business offers, which can include a meal. They offer them for different sections including box seats and special seating. They also have fireworks after Friday games.
$5 entry fee. Sure, 2 tickets please. Standing room only is what the sign said. My 7 yr old keeps tabs on this place. She knows when the monthly firework show is and asked if we can go. I'm not very thrilled about sitting outside in the hottest hours of the day to watch a game, but who doesn't want to make their kids happy. So we do it, we just kept walking. Walking from one drink stand to the next snack stand until we reach the end.

Nice park for walking in or taking today kids. Plenty to see and di!
It was a very light crowd on a Monday when we went. The park closes at 5 pm sharp was the only downside. Great Disc Golf course in a serene setting!
I love the space here for large groups. Animals are welcome, and the pond is still beautiful from when I was young.
As long as you expect the geese and their droppings this is a fabulous park. We only pulled in for a lunch stop on our road-trip. It's a big park with plenty of grass, picnic tables and substantial trees.
We were visiting the area and looking for a nice place to unwind. We arrived a little after 4 pm on a Monday and disappointed that the museum closes at 4 pm. We walked around. This park is huge with a little lake and lots of picnic area. The park closed at 5 pm.
6$ gets you admission to the dog friendly park and the museum but the museum does not allow dogs? Maybe could have mentioned that on the way in? Muesum staff was flippant and extremely rude when we attempted to enter with our disabled pug being carried in a backpack. It was over 100 degrees outside, no way we could leave her in the car. Park is covered in goose poop and the pond is a toilet bowl. Facilities were a disgrace. Totally not worth 6$, will not be back!
Just depends. Sometimes its clean and theirs not too much duck poo. Other times its smelly, some bathrooms are locked during park hours or just filthy or missing toilet paper. Park enforcement has been kinder in reminding park attendees of closing times at the end of the day. So its getting better, but also it's free Now! So bonus.
It was the most fascinating experience in years ! Seeing artifacts and machines from different eras makes you understand the tenacity of humans for progress. Farmers who, for centuries, handled dangerous machines, day after day. Also, the Native American and War displays have unique and rare objects. If you are visiting the Visalia and Tulare area, this museum is a "must see" ⭐️ Honor our Veterans and our Farmers ! 🇺🇸

It's an excellent place for your venue! They are always excellent to work with, and the place is super clean and attractive. Everyone is so helpful and kind!
I have been to a lot of marriott's but this is one top notch location.. The service has been tremendous. The rooms are more than adequate with many updates.. There were a few slight repairs needed but overall it was comfortable and relaxing. The comforter on the bed was questionable, but adequate for me. The whole month of April they have music playing in the bar, which many patrons enjoyed. Of course, I took advantage of the gym and the Starbucks in the morning. I can't say a lot for the neighborhood or the area around here because I did not have enough time to look around, but they say stores stores and restaurants are close by.....
Great place for the home show! Easily maneuverable, fun vendors, good show with great ideas! Thanks for having Soft Rock 98.9 out! Teri Ann
Our son had the time of his life at junior/senior prom there last night. Thank you for doing this for the school district & the kids to have a great time! I would give 5 stars if they played more appropriate dance music of all decades/kinds. But, that's just my opinion.
Came here for a convention for the first time. Its a typical large space for lots of people. Seems as if its been here for ever. It has outdated decor and furniture. There's two large rooms downstairs and several smaller rooms upstairs. Eventhough its old, its really clean. The staff there are very accomodating and friendly. There was a ball we had on the weekend amd we showed up pretty late, but they still served us dinner and desserts and lots of drinks. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. I would come back if we have another convention here. My only suggestion is they needed more seating in the lobby. Maybe a nice seating area with a tv and a charging station for phones.
I've been coming here for Girls Wrestling State Championships for the passed 4 years. Its a nice place. And nice little town. I like the deli shop across the street.
Various large and small rooms for a weddings reception, business meetings and large events. Overnight guests can stay at the Marriott hotel with secure parking.
Always a great location. Whether it be for a Knights of Columbus meeting or the fall home and garden show. Wonderful venue excellent staff.

I was very surprised at how entertaining this place was for my grandkids ages 6 and 7. Their faces were filled with non-stop excitement as they ran from one area to the other. Well arranged play areas and learning centers. Set up in a way that was fun and exciting for the kids
It's totally worth the money. This place is clean, well organized and so well kept. The stations make sense, are educational and fun. My daughter loved it. There was an indoor and outdoor space. Bring sunscreen bc there isn't a ton of shade outside and the sun is a blister.
My 20 month old had so much fun! It was daunting not having much to do over the summer since it’s so hot outside but she gets her wiggles out and learns at the same time. ♥️ PLUS, there’s shade, an outdoor area, and indoor area for kids to play. They also have lockers free of charge.
This place was amazing!! My two year old son had a great time, and so did we! First time coming here, and it definitely won't be the last! There is so much to do! Great place to bring the kids and the whole family!! 35 dollars got me my wife two year old son and 4 month old baby girl in.
Great for kids. Very inexpensive. My kids of all ages had a great time.
My kids love this place! Theres so many different play areas for the kids to enjoy and use their imagination. It’s affordable too & if you receive foodstamps, they give a little discount which can be helpful. The staff are always super friendly & constantly wiping things down! Great place for the kids to enjoy!
ImagineU is a gem for families in Visalia. It’s a smaller kids’ museum/activity center, but the membership is well worth it—my 7-year-old always finds something fun to do. From playing on the train to tackling hands-on activities and discovering new tasks, there’s plenty to keep kids engaged and social. The staff is very friendly, and the whole place feels welcoming. No complaints at all—highly recommend for families with young kids.
Took my toddler to this place my mom friend’s raved about and have regretted not taking her sooner. What an AMAZING experience. There’s so much to do, so much to see, so much engagement. And in this unbearable summer heat it’s a GLORIOUS escape from it as the AC BE WORKING. There’s between 12-15 stations each with its own theme ranging from rescue vehicles, to fantasy, to outdoor play with trains and cars, slides, climbers, a room the children can just paint on all the walls, dress up and music. There’s even a little place for the little littles (under the age of 4) to play that has a little gate to keep them corralled in. They offer walk in tickets, or purchasing tickets online ahead of time and even some membership programs for frequent flyers. There’s water bottle filler stations, a place to cubby diaper bags, and a gift shop that obviously goes to a great cause. They have a station for moms to breastfeed with some privacy and changing places in both gender bathrooms. This is a GREAT place to take your kid if you want to not sweat to death while keeping an eye on them.

Tried out this market for the first time and wow! I kept unloading my bag in the car and going back for more! 😂 So much fresh produce and tasty treats! Yep, I'm a fan.
Loved coming to the Saturday Farmer’s Market. This was filled with vendors - had about 4 rows of vendors of all kinds of variety. Fruits and veggies, crafts, pastries, coffee, homemade pasta, nuts, and so much more! Vendors were friendly and was perfect to bring a family to.
This should not be call Farmer's Market. More appropriately, Vendor Place. How disappointing. 90% other stuff, 10% produce. Roughly 40% of the sellers are certified. Case in point, asked one Vendor about product, business cards, Instagram had nothing. Didn't know where product was made. Let's just say, while not saying it's true with this vendor. There have been sellers know to buy less expensive liquids and rebottle and private label. Buyer beware. I do understand businesses need to expand to reach new customers, but selling candy, cupcakes, and cookies isn't a Farmer's market. The new location was adequate with good parking 50 yards away. While I am an animal lover. Rules exist for a reason. Why would the venue mention health concerns, with no dogs allowed only allow dogs.? People ate getting away with anything and stores, etc are scared to hurt customer's feelings. Listen, take your dog to a park
Love this farmers market! Great produce selection and awesome variety of vendors. A must go Saturday mornings. Bring cash if you can but luckily most vendors accept card. Don’t forget your tote bags!
First time visiting and super cool. Fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, garlic, onions, pumpkins, and more. You won't be disappointed.
Great local Farmer’s Market, good selection of handmade items and locally grown products. They also bring out the food trucks from restaurants nearby if you get hungry.
Medium size market. Good variety for the time of year. Stop by the Lindcove Ranch stand and get their wonderful fresh citrus and pomegranate juices. Yum!
Visalia Farmer's Market is a very neat place to attend with friends or family they have a wide variety of items and very helpful vendors.

We were just passing through and saw this amazing park. We stopped by for a picnic near the water spouting spot. A beautiful setup, very spacious and available tables to sit and eat on. Plenty of space for multiple sports. Space for soccer, football, baseball and softball. Either way plenty of space to get your recreational needs.
RSP #5 Beautiful green, shady and perfectly private side of the park!
clean, well taken care of, good place for sports, bbqs, family gatherings and special events. really visalias only good park that's close to the north side of visalia. most parks in visalia are kind of luck laster
Plenty of community space for all to enjoy. The grounds are kept in good condition
River way sports park is really good park it is good for kids and adult for both even everyone they have all activity for kids specially water sprinkle my kids like to go over there who like sport it’s also good for sports persons. Some time people celebrate birthday party in river park I think you should try take your family or love ones there I really recommend to go there this park is my best of the favorite one park in Visalia.
So much homeless straight up, can’t even use the restrooms during they day they are stuck in them , August of this year had my son’s birthday party , rented the spot and had a homeless dude try and fight me. Luckily it was my son’s birthday. Now I have a heart but soon they get lost.. thumbs down..
Nice place, but the bathrooms were very dirty. We reserved a spot and paid for it, but there was no sign of our reservation. It could have been easily occupied by someone else. We had some homeless people in our reserved area making a mess.
Fields are great for soccer games and tournaments. The restrooms are very filthy. For the amount of people that come and play games here its unfortunate they dont have maintenance to keep the restrooms clean and stocked. No tp no paper towels etc.
