“These are a few of my favorite things.” This place is my happy place. I love it here. So many nooks, so many crannies, so much to explore. In the world of your imagination. Books, games, movies, telescopes, the opportunities are boundless here. Staff is happy and helpful.
I've loved this library since I was a kid, but there's an ongoing issue with adults using the teen area, leaving no space for teens to study after school. Although they’ve put up a sign that says 'reserved for teens from 3-6pm,' people often ignore it. I've also personally experienced two instances where grown men came into the teen section and just stared at me for at least ten minutes. It was incredibly bizarre.
Very well maintained library. $65 a year for households outside the city of Brentwood. They have an art lending library, a seed exchange program, even video games can be checked out. Very impressed by the look, collection, and atmosphere.
Adults section was closed today but the children’s section is huge. They have interesting monthly events. This February they have something called Galentine. Bring a girl friend, if you are single and don’t have a boy friend yet, to a Valentine party at the library.
Wonderful library! We particularly love the Children's Area. Train tables and the other play areas are a huge hit in our house!
We adore this library, and it’s one of the reasons we chose this area when we moved! The children’s area is stunning, and the programming is excellent as well. Ms. Marlene leads great story times with developmentally appropriate activities and good pacing. The various study/community rooms are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. We love the quarterly book sale, too!
Wow! This place is crazy nice! Words cannot begin to describe it. If Barnes and Noble would set up their stores like this library they would make a killing. So clean and well laid out. Great place to meet, do school, work, relax, you name it.
What a gem for Brentwood. The library is large and spacious with lots of nooks to read and explore what the resources available. The outside is just as beautiful with a reading trail, plants, and a great little amphitheater.

Daughter is getting married here. Very nice, rustic spot. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
What an amazing area! Perfect place to come celebrate, hang out, or go for a walk. Even found some wildlife walking through!
A neat clean and tidy maintained park near to Brentwood city. Its a 264 acre park with pleanty of parking spots, large open spaces, multiple tennis courts, ample paved roads for cycling, skating, multiple parks for kids, enough space for football and any outdoor activities. The restrooms are cleanly maintained and each of them attached with drinking water facilities. Overall a highly recommended place
Went to the 4th of July foreworks experience and it was fantastic! Cannot recommend it enough. Great sightlines everywhere and plenty of people to enjoy it with (but not too many people)
Walker Chevrolet was supporting the Ravenwood Home Coming Parade as a proud sponsor of WILLCO
It was our first time visiting the Park and we have really enjoyed. There are picnic tables and it seems, like a golf course (but I am not sure). Nice marked trails, cleaned, pleasant breeze around the trees. Free cold water and cleaned bathrooms were part of the experience. We had a great time and are definitely coming back to explore more!
Most racist park I’ve ever set foot in. If you’re anything other than white, prepare to be sized up, judged, and looked down on like you don’t belong. I’ve been a long-time member of the Brentwood YMCA, and every single time I come out here to run—it’s the same story. Without fail, I get the ugliest stares, like I committed a crime by daring to exist. The irony? These folks actually walk around thinking they’re superior simply because of their skin color. But here’s the punchline: Genesis 3:19 still applies to everyone—“for dust you are, and to dust you will return.” So imagine strutting around thinking you’re some kind of chosen royalty, when in reality you’re just walking compost with a superiority complex.
Well maintained facilities and fields. Lots of shade trees around the soccer fields for spectators. Good trails throughout the park.

Wow, my first visit. Sky Zone is amazing, exciting and safe! The staff was helpful and professional. There we no areas that were un supervised. Their party rooms and service staff are great. If you want adventure, this is the place.
Had a good birthday experience here. Lots of parking space. The parking was easy and the inside of the building was clean. Lots of staff to supervise. Lots of activities for the kids. Lots of space for adults to seat and they have massage chairs you can pay for. Check in was painless. Be sure to sign your waiver ahead but you can also do it there. Overall a great experience for 7 year old. Would certainly recommend. Giving it four stars because we had to ask for our drinks in the party room several times. Also our birthday host was not in attendance for the first hour. Aside from that the overall experience was pretty good. We will be back for sure!
Kids love this place 5 of 5 stars there They need at least one supervisor there that is out of high school. We had so much trouble with my sons party and friends getting signed in I filled out the form for my son 5 times while standing in front of the desk and they couldn't find him.
Had a birthday party at the Brentwood TN location on 09/20. We're very disspointed by the birthday package offered for $768 that included 1 hrs of jumping time and 1 hours of room time for 18 kids. We thought initially that after the kids eat and do cake( in their 1 hour of room room time) they can still go back jumping but we were told they can't unless we pay more. Obviously no kid will sit and eat for an hour so it's cruel to tell them to leave early unless they pay more. Do not recommend this place.
I was a regular customer with skyzone for three years, I have two kids of age three and six, I canceled my membership without this place due to poor management, they give instructions to you but they don't follow their rules and regulations, I have videos and pictures on one of the manager that doesn't follow rules. There should be someone knows how to respond.
Hi we hosted a small birthday party for my daughter recently. It was very easy to understand all the different kind of options for three parties and what was included. It was great that we are able to email out the waiver to sign before the party to make things easier. We had great communication with the party manager. She was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions that I had. It was very easy to check in all the kids at the birthday party and very helpful to have the dolly to bring items to the party room. Once the party started about 45 minutes in we were able to begin to decorate the room. They offered items to help but we brought our own. The helper was there to help us with anything in the room. I was glad she was there to help. Overall I felt the party went very well and glad we booked it at defy. See you next time.
We recently hosted a large group party at Sky Zone Brentwood and had an absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked in, the place felt incredibly clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus when dealing with lots of kids. The variety of activities and games available is huge. it kept all the children entertained for hours, offering way more than just trampolines. The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and organized, ensuring our party room was set up perfectly. They offered us good deals on the party room package and food options, which made the whole process stress-free and great value. I highly recommend the Brentwood Sky Zone location for anyone looking for a clean, fun, high-energy activity center, especially for large parties!
Lots of great options that I haven’t seen at other Sky Zones. There is plenty of seating for adults to sit. I really enjoyed the massage chair. The check-in was like 20 mins. No one stayed at the concession stand and I had to call their phone to ask for assistance. I was confused as one person was doing the majority of everything in front. Randomly, another guy would show up and then leave again. Kids enjoyed the exercise.

My name is Gloria Benson I’m presenting the excellent awards to Brentwood Jewelry. This is Salem and his amazing team! They have Excellent customer service and such a loving community!
I used Brentwood Jewelry for an appraisal and smaller sizing for a ring in November 2024 TLDR Pro: The price was adjusted upon my expression of dissatisfaction with the service I received. Con: The attitude of everyone but Associate 4, a very young man, was dismissive and condescending. Nobody working in the shop seemed to understand professionalism in the slightest. I’ve detailed my experience below. - - Wed Nov 6: Went to the shop. Associate 1 sized and told me it would be ready the following Wednesday. Wed Nov 13: No word from the shop Thu Nov 14: No word from the shop Fri Nov 15: I called the shop to see if it was ready. Associate 2 said she would check on it and call me back. No callback. Sat Nov 16: I called the shop at 12:46p. Associate 2 said it was not done and that the appraisal person had left town that morning so it would be next week before it was ready. I explained that the job was promised the previous Wednesday. She put me on hold for a few minutes. She came back on and changed her story saying that the ring was done and that I could come collect it before the shop closed at 4 pm. At the shop, Associate 3 produced the ring which had not been sized down to the size on the claim ticket. Associate 3 asked if I could run some errands and come back later. I explained that it was already days after being promised. I asked to relay my experience to the owner or manager. I explained the situation to Associate 5 “Manager” who said something like "That sounds about right". Associate 4 approached me and said they could take care of it while I waited. He finally produced the ring which was sized to the size on the ticket, but the fit was still too big. He declared that I needed a different, smaller size than Associate 1 had recommended when I dropped it off. He told me to wait some more while he went into the back and asked the jeweler to size it down again to his recommended size. I waited some more. Associate 4 finally came back out with the ring which did fit my finger. He adjusted the price lower, and I paid and left. I went out to my car, but took time to inspect the ring before I drove off. The (3rd) sizing job was messy, bumpy, misshapen, and unprofessional, so I went back in. (see photos and video) Associate 3 once again met me. I showed him the work and he agreed that it was sub-par. He wrote me a new claim ticket and apologized to me for the trouble. (Note: this is the first apology or sentiment of empathy from any of the employees.) Associate 5, the “Manager” was showing jewelry to another customer, but I calmly asked to speak with him for a moment. Without looking at me he said “I heard everything you said.” I stated that I wanted the work done properly and that I wanted a call when the work was done. He said “That’s why we don’t like to do rush jobs.” Again without looking at me, he said “It’ll be done Monday.” Mon Nov 18: I got a call from the shop at 9:46 in the morning saying the ring was done. Tues Nov 19: I went to the shop and produced my claim ticket to Associate 6. Associate 6 asked me if I’d received a text that it was ready. I said I’d received a call. She checked in one spot but didn’t find the ring. She checked in another spot but didn’t find the ring. She Typed on the computer for a whi Associate 5 "Manager” asked if I’d received a call that it was ready. Yes. Associate 6 went to the back office. Associate 4 came out. Associate 4 asked me if I’d received notice that the ring was done. I stated for the third time that I’d received a call the day prior. Associate 6 kept looking around, and finally found the ring and passed it to me. As I was leaving Associate 4 said “So sorry for the trouble” (only the second sentiment of apology.) The ring isn’t as snug as I’d like it to be, but I just smiled and nodded and left because I am done. As I was pulling out of the parking lot I got a text that the ring was ready. 🤣
EDIT: I have taken my ring to another jeweler who said the first one treated my platinum ring as if it was white gold even though it was explicitly stated and written on the information sheet when dropped off that it was platinum. I got my platinum engagement ring sized down back in December. It split down the middle in early March and I brought it in for repair. While the repair was free, it didn’t last and my ring has now split again in mid April. Everyone I spoke with prior to this was very nice, but the quality of my service has forced me to get my ring repaired elsewhere.
I was looking for a special birthday gift for my Husband who loves watches and Blake at Brentwood Jewelry came through for me perfectly!! I'm so impressed with his knowledge of watches, and he had a Bremont special watch perfect for my Husband, as well as another one, so I purchased both! Can't say enough great things about Brentwood Jewelry and about Blake and the great care they took of me!!
I have been a customer of Brentwood Jewelry for over 30 years and have always been treated amazing and can attest to their above and beyond services. This is a family run business and a cornerstone in the community. From pre-design to full custom work, they can't be beat on quality, price, or service!
Got my fiancées engagement ring and our wedding bands, couldn’t ask for better service! Treated like family from the moment we walked in. Thank you Salem and the team!
I brought my engagement ring here to be reset and add some family jewelry. Sara is absolutely amazing!! We talked about what my vision was for the ring and she drew a sketch, I later received a 3D design and finally yesterday I got the my dream ring!! Thank you guys for making it a reality!! Sara you are so special- cannot thank you enough for your patience.
The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy . I literally walk out with something new every time I go in hahah

We attended Bluebird on the Mountain and really enjoyed the event. The weather was great and the music was fantastic! We brought our own snacks and drinks and enjoyed the event.
The presentation was incredible! The only downside was the weather didn't cooperate for an opportunity to use the telescope.
Awesome outreach events are held here every second Friday of the month. You will see awesome celestial objects and learn about or place in the universe! Come in later fall and winter for the best views of the cosmos (weather permitting).
Had a very pleasant and informative experience. The tour was short and sweet, they kept it interesting, easy to understand, and the staff allowed us to continue looking through the facility just to take a closer look at anything In the tour that peaked your interest. Great place for anyone that enjoys history and astronomy. Thank you again!
Always so much fun to visit here. The setting is amazing. Up on a hill overlooking the trees of Western Nashville. Sometimes you can catch the sunset. Then the real views come out. The telescope is fun to see our neighbors in the sky. If you get a chance to go to Bluebird on the Mountain, definitely go. The songwriters are great and being outside is awesome. Stay after for a peek at the stars!
Lovely experience! Everyone should attend their open house if possible. The view from their powerful telescopes is magnificent. Tickets are very inexpensive, just be sure to reserve early. One of Nashville’s best kept secrets.
Great observatory in a beautiful location. Went there on a whim when they opened on a Friday and they are very friendly to the public. They have a front display case and small exhibits, a beautiful library, a back tented area, and a star chamber. A staff member gave us a great tour of the library and talked to use about the telescope. They have many talks open for and geared to the public and seem like they would be a great event space for everything from kids' camps to a wedding.
I love going here for the telescope night they have every month. This is a great place to bring kids but also an interesting date night for those into that kind of thing. I learn something new every time and the astronomers and volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to visit again!

Wow, this spot has everything you could be looking for seasonal and holiday decor or year round must-haves like candles, pillows, furniture and more! I’ve driven past here many times and I’m so glad I stopped in. Apparently the store gets new items on a weekly basis which makes it a great spot to keep checking out.
A great place to shop for special gifts and beautiful things. I think the people who work there are so pleasant and helpful. The displays are amazing. So glad they are here in Brentwood.
They have the best selection of home decor items in the area! The staff is helpful and friendly and we always look forward to seeing what's new for the season. Snooty Fox is the best!
This store has gorgeous, unique home decor! Also, they were so friendly and helpful!
Well, Snooty fox lives up to their name! Ridiculously priced and the people working there are beyond snooty. I was shopping for over 20 minutes, and I was never acknowledged nor asked if I needed any help. I saw several things I wanted to buy, then I thought I’m not going to give any of my money to these snotty snoots.
I am never disappointed when I walk through the door. If you want to be treated as if you are a valued customer this is the place.
Looking for a gift of a different kind? You will find it here. I could drop a lot of money here. Love it
**Update- I went against my word and went back. The same guy who made a reference to my purse waited on me. He was nice. No rude comments. I gave them another try. I want to support local business and forgive and forget. Done! Definitely “Snooty”! On any other day I would probably give 5 stars. I give the 3 stars because they have nice things. But after my experience I won’t be going back. I returned an item I thought was too expensive. I told them that when returning it when they asked why I didn’t want it. The shop owner referred to the purse I was carrying saying something along the lines of, “you don’t mind spending money on purses.” He snickered to the other sales clerk next to him.

This was the best part of me and my bestie’s trip to Nashville! The instructor was very sweet, funny and she made sure you got pictures! Goats felt good on my back as someone with back pain. They are so sweet and did not pee on me lol. Would 100% recommend
Want to do something fun and different? Goat Yoga is the ticket! You will laugh like crazy with these adorable well behaved animals! That are precious and sweet! I didn’t know what to expect - but we laughed so hard it hurt! We went during October so they were dressed for Halloween! Beautiful drive to the farm in Brentwood, TN. The instructor was very funny and explained everything very well! Go! You will not regret the laughter! It really does the body good!
MUST DO!! This was the highlight of our trip to Nashville. It was the perfect mix of structure and chaos. The goats don't hurt. They guide them onto you and make sure you get your pictures!! The yoga felt good too.
No one in my group had done goat yoga before and we had a super fun experience! Use the bathroom in town before you come, because they only have a port-a-potty available. Other than that, my only critiques are the instructor needs a mic and if you get peed on, you should get a free tshirt 😂
Amazing experience! All of the animals were excellent and the goats are so cute and well trained. The employees were so kind and took pictures for anybody who needed them. Absolutely go here for a fun time and great pictures!
Melody and her team (animals included) are out here doing some truly special work. Their animals so incredibly well cared for, I mean seriously, I have never seen such soft, happy and healthy goats. They are so well socialized and seem to really enjoy the yoga experience along with everyone else in the class. We had a total blast the whole time. I brought a bachelorette party I hosted here this past weekend and it was chock full of joy, laughs and cuteness. I will forever be suggesting this idea to every bride to be I come across. I may even have my birthday here next year. Thank you, Melody and the team at Goat Yoga Nashville. You made for a fabulous way to spend the day.
This was sooooo much fun!!! I absolutely loved everything about it and can not wait to go back
Hands down, one of the greatest experiences my sister-in-law's and I had during our visit to Nashville! The facility is beautiful and the goats are adorable and we laughed until we cried!

I live in Cincinnati, but I travel to Nashville frequently. During my trips, I always make time to visit Vignette multiple times. The staff is terrific, and the clothes are stylish and unique. I feel great wearing an outfit from Vignette and can always count on compliments. Guys, your ladies will love your selections, especially for her, and ladies, you will enjoy your look from Vignette. Do yourself a favor and stop by Vignette.
I was in a last minute bind to find a gift for my fiancé for her birthday. Luckily this place is so convenient in Brentwood and close to Nashville. The store has such a nice variety of clothing and home accessories, with the help of Meghan, I was able to save face with my fiancé! I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending to my friends for their significant others’ needs!! Thanks Meghan and Vignette!
This is a really fun place to shop! Lots of clothing, and it is all unique. Jewelry galore and scarves. Cool stuff on clearance. Lovely things in the "home decor " area adjoining the clothing area. Cute baby stuff.
Was in a rush, bought lovely blouse, wore it out of store, very helpful and kind people.
Unique and tasteful clothes, jewelry and furnishing accents make for a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience.
Love this shop. Both home goods and women’s clothing boutique.

I have been a member of ME since 2014, and this was my first massage with McClain - it was amazing! So relaxing, perfect pressure, and effectively addressed my problem areas. I highly recommend McClain! He was receptive, kind, and a very pleasing personality! Great experience!
Selina is a wonderful massage therapist. I have tried many there. She is my favorite one! I have had Emi in the past. She is pretty good too. What happened to the nice women who worked the desk on Thursdays? The staff now are so rude. They seem to always be constantly eating every time I visit. Do they not get breaks?
My therapist is Nicole at the Brentwood store. She does a great job of asking I what type of pressure and in what areas you want concentrate on, and then implementing that plan. She has a knack for finding tension areas on her own, and working them out thoroughly. Nicole is very good about optimizing most of the 60 or 90 minute sessions without wasting 15 minutes of your appointment time by making you wait to get started, or ending far too soon. I highly recommend Nicole!
I have tried numerous massage locations and team members in the past but never had a stellar experience until I had Josh as my therapist. He is absolutely fantastic!! If applicable, he focuses on the areas that need extra attention (I hold all of my stress in my shoulders and upper back) and always checks in to make sure pressure etc are good. I have been going to him consistently 2x a month for almost a year now. Highly, highly recommend!!!
McClain is an amazing massage therapist! He's always super professional and listens to his client. Didn't know massage envy did casual Fridays for the front desk staff so that's cool to see!
McClain was a great therapist. He listened to my issues and worked on the areas that needed it the most. As a chiropractor, I employed many massage therapists in my 25 years of practice and have had countless massages. McClain intuitively used the right amount of pressure even over the areas that were the most sore to release the tension instead of creating more damage. I’m looking forward to my next appointments.
Dan did a great job - it was my first time and wasn’t sure what to expect, but he relieved a lot of tension particularly in my upper back, shoulders, and arms accumulated from weightlifting. He also had a calming presence and I was comfortable and at ease the entire time. If you are an athlete I recommend a deep tissue massage. Thank you, Dan 🙏🏼
Selina is amazing. Best and most relaxing massage I've ever had. No akward small talk made sure I was relaxed and enjoyed every moment. Her technique is wonderful. I signed up for a membership today because it was so good

An intimate local theater. We thoroughly enjoyed the play last night, our first visit to the theater. Ticket purchase online is quick and simple. The theater is a small, local operation but the experience was wonderful. The set and props were creative and well done and the cast was great. There is a gallery adjacent to the theater featuring local art on exhibit and for sale. During intermission refreshments are available here and after the show cast and audience gather and socialize. There are obviously "regulars" here that make everyone feel at home. Our only concern was that the theater was cold (March 3), but we'll be back.
Small intimate community theater. There were some great voices the night we went. Lots of local time talent and kids in the show. Some really good older character actors. Take a sweater they keep it cold.
Towne Centre produces entertaining shows in their welcoming Brentwood theatre, just minutes from Franklin and Downtown Nashville. Free parking and very reasonable ticket prices combine with a great wealth of talent to offer one of Nashville's best theatre deals!
Back from Black Tie Broadway. An amazing ensemble. The venue was very easy to find and comfortable with not a bad seat in the house. Very nice community theater.
WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. I loved this theatre for years, but it lost its building lease. It could not find a replacement, and it shut down.
Intimate venue, comfortable seating, and a constantly revolving offering. Highly recommended for any production.

Love this place and it’s so much fun taking my kiddos to the very place I used to hang out and have fun with friends as a teen! Definitely one of the best places that holds some of my best memories They have a great crew working there especially the floor guard named Logan… he’s always so helpful and has the best manners, and I can always depend on him to make me and others laugh!
Best skate center I have been to. Delicious pizza, lockers, shoe exchange, party rooms, $12 admission fee only if you are skating, friendly workers, Icees, tables, restrooms, etc.
I've read some of the negative reviews on this place, so I decided to go see for myself. I've been skating for more than 30 years and I've skated in many cities when I visit. Brentwood was no different, I didn't have any problems with this skating rink. It was a clean and spacious facility with a well-maintained floor. I've skated in a lot worse. Now I'm a quad-skater, and I don't use inline skates. My skates were in a bag but no one asked to look at them or inspect them at any time
Don’t miss out on a great night with great people you never know who you might see!!
My wife and I went with some friends for an adult skate night. It was a terrible experience. This place should consider becoming a private club, as it's currently a horrible business. They have a rule that you cannot have "hard plastic" on your skates. Yet if you are part of their regular patrons, go ahead and wear whatever. So, you end up like me, where you go with a group of friends and end up sitting out the night. Which is frustrating when one of the regulars wore the same skates I had without issue. When staff were directly questioned on this, they showed indifference and indicated we could leave if we didn't like it. Beyond all the stupidity from the staff it's clear from the 10 people with arms locked skating as a wall through the rink that you're not welcome there and how dare you enter their domain. If you choose to go here, take your hockey aggression with you; they could use some humility training.
My complaint, is my children and I were “denied” bringing “our” skates in to the establishment, they are for inside use only. They are brand new. I bought them for my daughter’s birthday today. She is only four years old. And the ones at this place are too big for her. The management was very snotty with me and laughed with a smirk face. Said “we could find another place to go”And yet let other children have their own rollerblades in this establishment. I think it is extremely contradicting. We had eight people with us. Five children. Who are not allowed to bring their own skates in that were brand new. My kids asked me why everyone else had their own!!! This place is a joke! We spent over $100 to get in!!
This was my kids 1st time here and they loved it! The atmosphere was great and staff was very helpful and respectful. We’ll be back next time we come to Nashville!

Was lucky enough to be visiting during Owl Day. It included a presentation all about the owls with up close and personal viewings of three different resident owls. Afterwards we dissected owl pellets and then made a fun little owl ornament for a keepsake. Believe it or not it was a perfect girls trip stop on our itinerary!
My son, age 8, connected so much with the place! We got him the explorer’s backpack that they rent and he had such a big smile on his face exploring and using all the gear (microscope, field guides, animal book, magnifying glass, a notebook to draw what you find) in the backpack. We saw a trilobite fossil, wild turkeys, owl pellets, salamanders, and a hawk. We loved seeing all the owls as you come into the visitor center. The trails were very quiet and peaceful. This place had a very special vibe!
This place is absolutely beautiful! We spent the morning walking two trails. The yellow route - The Sharp Creek Trail (1 mile) - follows the winding creek and takes you through a rich deciduous forest of ash, oak, hickory and tulip poplar trees. There was such a stunning variety of butterfly and dragonfly species to see. The red route - The South Ridge Trail (1.2 miles) - gains 1000ft in elevation through a hardwood forest. At the top, the sunlight and breeze through the trees is wonderful and accompanied by a soothing orchestra of crickets and cicadas. We were greeted at the visitors reception by Alison who was absolutely lovely - she very kindly took the time to give us a great insight into the sanctuary, its history, the stories behind each of the owls they home, the surroundings, what to expect and look out for in each of the trails, and the types of flora and fauna that we'd be able to see - this really enhanced our experience. If you're looking to lose yourself in the beauty of nature, then I guarantee you'll love basking in the serenity and tranquility of Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary.
Came here to visit the owls and do a nice hike. Sandy helped me out as I arrived. She was super informative and guided me through the place. They just acquired new donated land and plan to expand in the future. I will absolutely come back any time I visit Nashville. I completed the yellow trail, it was beautiful, had a nice opening where I was able to see a variety of birds flying around and squirrels playing. Parts of the trail went alongside a creek, as well as had a nice incline for about a quarter mile but nothing unmanageable (I have bad knees as well) I’m looking forward to my next visit here.
Hidden treasure! I saw a mom and baby bobcat here. Cool hiking trails. 5/5 stars
We hiked most of the trails at Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary. The trails are reasonably well maintained and marked. There were some side trails that were unmarked - just stay on the obvious main trail and you'll be fine. Due to possible ticks, long pants and bug spray are advisable. Hiking boots are definitely appropriate. The trails are of moderate difficulty - mostly flat but there are some climbs that are somewhat challenging. We started on the yellow trail, counterclockwise (stay to the right at the first fork). After just less than a mile, we turned right on the red trail, which leads up to a ridge, the down and back to the start. That gave us about 2.4 miles, but we wanted a little more, so we went back to the start of the yellow trail, again stayed to the right, and turned to the right on the blue trail (a lollipop loop) and back to the beginning. That gave us a total of about 3.1 miles.
Owl's Hill must be a well kept secret in Nashville. After my visit I got asked by several locals what I had been up to. None of them had heard of Owl's hill. I had a wonderful hike even though the weather wasn't the most suitable. I'd love to go again and explore more of the trails when I have more time. The staff was very friendly and it sounded like they do some cool talks for school groups. I've always been fascinated by owls.
A beautiful gem I recently discovered in Williamson County @Brentwood: Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary. This 300-acre sanctuary is perfect for all nature lovers seeking tranquility. I found this amazing spot just a week ago, and there's only a $5 entrance fee, which directly supports this non-profit organization.
